The store was very clean, organized by school. If your school uniform was not available, you were able to still shop by color of shirt, sweater, pants, etc. We were immediately offered help when we walked in. Although, my daughters school uniform color shirts were offered, when it was time for embroidery we ran into some issues. And it was NOT the stores fault, the young man did his best to help so that we would not pay for something that is wrong. The entire staff was very helpful. Soon as I get the correct color for embroidery we will return. Thank you!!

Called before I visited this store to make sure they had what I needed. When I arrived nobody knew what I was talking about & I had to show my phone as proof that I called. A real waste of time!

Pleasant experience.

I called yesterday about placing an order online for pickup, and was told it would be better to call directly. Who in the 21st century does this??? Why today is it their phone always busy, and when you finally get through, its a recording with no instructions on leaving a message? The one time I got through after about 30 attempts, I was disconnected while giving my order, and have since tried about 30 times again to only have the same issue. You would think with the massive profit margin on school clothing, they would be properly staffed to handle orders, and would have a system in place to handle online orders in a timely fashion.

Great every time. The staff knows EXACTLY where everything is to a T and they find you your size. Always nice and respectful of customers. SPEEDY, QUICK, and GREAT customer service. Ive heard other places say they are pricey but I think there staff and huge selection ( especially in sizes ) easily make up for that.

J & R Clothing went above and beyond to accommodate my needs. I recently needed to have a dress shirt altered and only had a few days to get it done. The alterations dept. actually had it finish ahead of time! Then at the last minute I needed to rent a pair of tux shoes. The young woman assisting me was able to have them delivered to the store the very next day. I also purchased a very reasonably priced tuxedo for my hard to fit son. The alterations were done perfectly on the jacket and the pants as well. J & R Clothing and the young lady that assisted me have my sincere gratitude for your help. My son looked perfect for his Senior Prom!

I absolutely LOVE J & R Clothing!! They have an extensive collection of uniform shirts from white to turquoise and everything in between from small to adult extra large. They also have specific uniforms for schools that require more than just polo shirts and khaki pants. If youre looking for that hard to find color check them out. Youll be glad you did!!

I have shopped here for decades. Great service and people, even better prices, and they throw in basic alterations for free. I highly recommend their reasonably priced suits and its a great place to buy blue jeans as well.

Didnt realize they had discontinued the womens clothing. Its been a long time, but l remembered how well their clothes were made. I still have an outfit going strong (20 years), and it fits well.They only have men and childrens uniforms now during their closing days. J R, and SMITHS are they related? 🤔

Uniform prices are too expensive and not well made. They charge $5 extra for each school embroidery, which adds up pretty quickly. (Four shirts would cost you $20 just for the embroidery plus the costs of the shirts.) They never have the items in stock, so you have to order and then come back to pick up your order. Not that big of deal for some, but the store is 30 minutes one way from where we live and we are required to purchase our uniforms there.

Several disappointing encounters with the owner/manager. Uniform shirts arent great quality, especially for the price. They look awful after a few washes.

Well I went there to purchase a tuxedo. I had never bought a tux before, so I had bo idea what to do. But the sales associate was extremely helpful. He answered all of my questions, gave me his personal opinion, and was very patient with me. The associates are very professional at j & r clothing. I will definitely revisit if I ever have to purchase any thing really formal (like a tux) and will most definitely recommend this place to others.

Terrible customer service. I ordered 4 uniform shirts and was told they would be ready in a week. I’ve called four times to check if they were in, I don’t live in Fayetteville so I wanted to be sure before I made that drive. No one has ever answered the phone or returned my call. It’s been 2.5 weeks.

Really, really like this place! Nice clothes, good deals on Carhartt, Dickies, Levis, Nautica, Izod..Big & Tall, dress suits.. Embroidered school uniforms, law enforcement comfy clothes. And on top of that, a great and friendly staff! Highly recommend to anyone (mostly men though..not much womens clothes, except for the school stuff).

I have never been so disrespected in my life. The owner of the store is rude and disrespectful. I had an issue and he not once tried to make it right. Instead he decided to attempt to belittle me. I will never shop there again.
