Prescription sent in at 5, told me it will be an HR so I went home and did things came back around 9:00 and there was only 2 people working at the time, the Lady told me that they were under staff which I understand, so me and my bf and brother just walked around the store til we got kicked out because they seen us put something in our bag, but couldnt tell us what the item was, we even pulled out bags out so they could look but refused to, at this point I didnt even argue with them as long as I was able to get my prescription. So from 5:00-9:30-10:30 then finally at 11:05 I was able to get my prescription. This had to be the longest time Ive ever waited for anything. They need better management . Whoever is in charge of the pharmacy need a better manager because that was crazy
Horrible attitudes from staffing. We understand everyone is short staffed and medication orders are up, but communications and minimum professionalism would go a long way. Anyone know of a trusted, caring, and professional pharmacy please let us know. Its not CVS.
Good lord I see why reviews are so bad. First of all they dont answer the phones EVERY. Been on hold for over 30mins Im trying to abide by the rules but at this point Im just gonna go inside to let them know Im out here cause this is ridiculous
Went into CVS on Owen Dr in Fayetteville NC last night and again tonite. Was NOT able to complete any purchases with my OTC UnitedHealthcare card!! Was told that it would not go through. I have been using my card here since the program began in Jan. 2021!! The problem is that NONE but 3 cashiers and one from the pharmacy department know how to ring up purchases with this card which is unacceptable!! The cashiers are not properly trained therefore the store is losing money and Im wasting my time and gas going there.
I noticed that this location has a lot of negative reviews, I think some of them are a bit unfair. This place can get busy given its location right by the hospital, and people need to realize that they cant always get what they want when they want it.Ive been dealing with this location for a good while now and, admittedly, I too have had a couple of negative experiences here, but they are open 24/7, well stocked and usually have the cheapest generic equivalents of the medications that I need every month-- just have to be a little patient with them sometimes, they get the job done.
Covid tester manager Hattie Jones is one of the rudest people Ive ever come across, medical or not. Ms Jones asked my 17 y/o if she could read because her permit was expired. We had 2 other proof of ID. She said we were rude lol. No we match energies. If you come at me disrespectful then expect the same in return. She didnt explain anything clearly and she was upset because we didnt know that there was a separate covid test building. If I booked a test at cvs and I walk into the cvs then sorry. She definitely to be around people at all.
On hold 25+ minutes for the pharmacy and still no one has answered the phone.
Minute clinic is the worst whoever she is will not check schedule rude and no help with rapid testing wasted over a hour of my time
Very rude, called to ask pharmacy a simple question about a narcotic she gives me this long sarcastic story regarding why they wont fill my prescription, got my name, dob, and she still didnt answer my question, I called Walgreens asked same question, they answered in 30 seconds, no questions, no rude story
I was on hold for 30 minutes for the pharmacy at 522 Owen Drive in Fayetteville today. That is unacceptable. I ended up hanging up.
The lady that works nights Melanie, has bad customer service. She gives me a hard time about filling my narcotic pain meds every other month when I get them filled. Its always some guidelines that has changed or I need ask ur doc a question about this or that. On weekends she refuses to fill and dr office closed. Its just always something so im changing pharmacies at next dr visit.
Understaffed. Always have had bad experiences here and have had enough. Hey, Im just one person that they wont have to worry about serving again. Yay!! Transfer me!!!
There is the best pharmacists. They work for patients.
The pharmacy staff is horrible with dealing with people. You can go to the counter and no one acknowledges you even if they made eye contact. They will have you standing there for minutes and still no one will say Ill be with you in just a minute
In my opinion this location consistently provides substandard care and has repeatedly made dosing errors on medications. In addition, they are generally discourteous and unreliable when presented with a problem. This location is open 24 hours and has a drive-thru window, so it is tempting to use it; but these conveniences do not outweigh the frustration of having to deal with their incompetence and poor attitude.
They dont know whether they want to be rude or nice they are mostly rude
Self checkouts don’t accept cash and they don’t have change. However, the sales in CVS are perfect for couponers.
Whole company needs to give up their Monopoly on Pharmacy side. Called us and said the prescription was ready. Not ready. Why would you call?? Sad excuse and they continue to get away with it....
Their automatic system or refilling prescriptions is one of the most frustrating systems I have ever seen to my doctor talk to someone at the pharmacy to refill a medicine and they say that persons not responsible so they had to talk to a different person it has been the most frustrating thing I have ever done. You think that they would care because this is the health of the people
My #1 Drug store
They are a complete fraud, do not schedule an appointment. I did then waited a day and a half to sign in and be told they do not offer the services I specifically signed up for. Wasted my time and expense.
I dont think CVS is on the same level as Walgreens, but it has some niche products worth checking out. Unfortunately this location should be passed up. I recommend going to another CVS nearby. Perhaps due to its close proximity to the hospital it serves more transient customers than other locations. Nevertheless, a pharmacy should be held to a higher standard of cleanliness and sanitation than a gas station. The entrance as well as the restrooms overwhelming assault ones sense of smell.
So my twenty dollar bill got stuck in the self check out and the manager on duty as well as two cvs store associates kept saying this has never happened before to each other while in the mist of opening the machine they said it about three more times to each other that this has never happened before well I’m sure it won’t be the last time either and considering the self check out registers are fairly new! They all made me so mad! When they finally opened the machine and saw my crinkled up $20 they just said have a nice day no I’m sorry or anything. I thought it was very rude and they made me feel like I was lying about the matter by saying that it had never happened before over and over! Not Professional at all! Horrible experience!!!!!
Literally the most unprofessional pharmacy that I have ever encountered. Also the pharmacist and staff I dealt with had no idea what I was saying. I guess I could have drawn a picture but that seemed beyond them too. At least they were thrilled with their own disturbingly awful job performance. My opinion is that this pharmacy should be closed down as a precaution for unsuspecting citizens who need medication.
Worst pharmacy Ive ever been to ever. There is something about the staff that you feel right away. I knew I was going to have a hard time with my prescription and I did. I was told to come back in an hour or so, and I and when I did all I got was a bad attitude. Then I was told they would call me when if was ready. Two days later and still no prescription. I finally got a call after 2 days and was told it was ready after I left the second time. Well as far as I am concerned now they can keep it. I will never go back, never ever. There should be a shake up at this pharmacy and replace most of the staff, but that is IF CVS CARED!
This CVS has a great Pharmacy Staff. It is not the CVS that I pass twice a day 6 days a week. I did use that one...which I would not recommend. However the OWEN DR Pharmacy is always helpful, cheerful and courteous...it is worth the wait when the lines are long in drive-thru. Keep up the great care!! Thank you for all that you are doing for the community.
Hello Mike,I visited your pharmacy on 12-9-17. I’ve never received such poor service. Kimberly was extremely rude and condescending. Majority of the visit I didn’t see her face because she didn’t address me directly from the window. I had to repeat myself several times due to her not speaking to me from the window. She initially told me my total was $20.00. She then processed my card for $29.37 before consulting with me about another medication. I never received and apologize for her error. She then stated, “ you need to tell you doctor not to send over medications if you aren’t going to pick them up because we fill then as soon as they come”. As, I tried to explain I wasn’t aware that my provider sent over an additional medication, she cut me off multiple times by saying, “ you have a good weekend” in a condescending way. I don’t appreciate her attitude or behavior. I’ve picked up medications from this pharmacy several times and never experienced such poor customer service.
How can this pharmacy stay in business, wow. Rude, not a people person pharmacy!! On one good note there is one man that works nights that is friendly but the rest is horribleMy dr faxed in my rx and when I go to pick it up at 4:40am the pharmacist, Melody made me wait till 8am when dr office opens to call and make sure it was a legitimate rx!!!! Same prescriptions as the last 12 years.
Its way too much pressure at this location. The cashier is always snoby and stuck up. I believe the general manager doesnt care about the customer respect and patience. Its better to go to Walgreens ...
Staff was welcoming. Clean store. Stays fully stocked all the time. Wait time is awesome. Pharmacy is great as well.
Just stopped in for a few things on my way home 1:17am....the cashier Valerie was so sweet pleasant and on the ball. A very nice courteous girl. Loved her. Thanks cvs for giving such a great young girl a chance!. Keep up the great work valerie!
Some of the pharmacy staff need Customer Service training!!!! Dont belittle the customers that come in and dont judge!!!! You do not know how much pain a customer is in. If the Doctor wrote the script, and the insurance has approved it, then fill it. If in doubt, then call the doctor that wrote it, but dont give the customer griff!!!! Most people are NOT picking up a script because life is good!!! Try showing some compassion and respect and dignity!!
Adam greeted me warmly then walked me to the item I needed. What a great customer experience. This location has a drive-thru pharmacy.
Will meet all needs
Tommy is the best 5 star . Super freindly
A huge, well-stocked CVS. Love the Minute Clinic. Staff very helpful.
Friendly staff, and a large selection of items to be a CVS. Very clean and organized. Quick prescription fills as well.
I called to check on my medicine to see if it was ready and to let them know my husband would be picking it up. The lady that answered didnt give her name like she was supposed too when she answered and was very rude when i was asking her my questions and letting her know. Plus its taking forever to get my anxiety medicine ready only reason i even went to them is because my son was transferred to Duke Childrens Hospital in Durham from Cape Fear Valley Hospital..we will never use CVS again unless it is the only pharmacy that is in the town where we live when and if we decide to move somewhere. So yes a bad review get it fixed and i may change my review.
Horrible managers.. Im so sorry for this review but corporation need to do something about their so called managers ive been to many CVSs before and always got treated with respect but last friday ive decided to stop at cvs on owen drive for the first time and i asked the manager about a sale they had going on the guy didnt know they even had a sale ... And hes answers were not the best he had no idea when they would get a shipment and a rain check was such a big problem for him.. Horrible guy horrible service horrible store never AGAIN will i go there...
Came here to fill prescriptions for my daughters who just had surgery and asked them if they could expedite theirs because they were in the car with me. Over an hr later, and after speaking to the store manager I am STILL WAITING! This place is a joke!
Jeff the pharmacist is super friendly and very fast excellent service!!!!
If I could give less stars, I would. This has got to be the slowest pharmacy on the face of the earth. I have been waiting for over an hour and a half for a prescription that they said would take thirty minutes. The staff was rude, and lazy and never adressed me on why I was waiting so long. Not even an apology. Watching the pharmacy staff stand around and chit chat for a half an hour while people are waiting for their prescription is down right rude. If it wasnt for the fact that they had my prescription, I would have walked out. Needless to say I will never be shopping there again.
I feel really bad for the employees that work at this Pharmacy. Everytime I have been here they are severely understaffed and running around like chickens with their heads cut off. If you hired even just two more people your staff would be much less stressed out and you would have much happier customers. I have been to several CVS Pharmacies and I have never encountered the type of wait and discumbobulation that occurs here daily.
I dropped off my prescription at one and told them I would come by to pick it up at 6:30 and couldnt leave my children in the car and that is why I was dropping it off on my lunch break. The lady said no problem it will be ready. It is 7:12 now and the little girl Ashley at the register said the pharmacist has not started on it and there is a huge line and everyone here is upset. I never had this problem at Walgreens. I regret not going there. No one here is friendly. I left a picture of the long line that goes down isle 9.
I picked up my prescription today and was going to use the CVS singlecare card but was told by the pharmacist (Ryan) that if I had of submitted this when I dropped off the prescription he would have taken it but since I didnt he wouldnt. It wouldnt have taken this pharmacist that much time to run the prescription again using the singlecare card Auth#, BIN, GRP, and PCN and help save a customer money on their $180 prescription for thier son. I have emailed CVS customer relations and am waiting to see what they say about this. To me it seems he just didnt want to do any more work to help a customer out. I work for a medical insurance company that has a pharmacist so I will ask him when I get back to work but based on the cashiers comment that some pharmacists accept those cards and some dont Im gonna go with he could have but just didnt. I will update this post when I hear from the general manager or customer complaint department.
Absolutely horrible pharmacy. My mother takes a lot of medication and does not currently have insurance. The pharmacist was rude and very disrespectful and refused to take her GoodRX coupons, even though their website specifically says that CVS takes their coupons. The pharmacists told my mom that they stopped taking them two months ago, which is a blatant lie. Not only that, but they charge 120 dollars for her Oxycodone, where Wal-Mart only charges 40.00 cash price. If you go to this location, be prepared to be spoken to like you are garbage. If you go to any CVS, be prepared for price gauging.
Well I came in at 10:00pm. I just needed Ventolin inhaler filled with predizone. The pharmisist named Kim told me it would be 2Ahours before my scripts would be filled. I told her if she would just fill the inhaler I would come back for the other meds. She still said there were hundreds in front of me. I think her attitude was not very helpful. She made me feel very unimportant..
Let me first say that of all places in Fayetteville, for this place to be the way the employee described is inexcusable. This CVS is located directly across the walkways and street from the hospital. To put this into more perspective for my review, it is directly across the road (Id say within 150-200 yards) of the Childrens Emergency room entrance. Keep that in mind as you read this.I went there to the drive through to drop off 3 prescriptions for my 1 year old daughter who had just been discharged (she had RSV). One of the prescriptions she was to get was an antibiotic. Upon arriving, the full service lane was full, so I went over to the drop off lane as no one was occupying it.Lo and behold, the first thing that struck me was the sign on it. This lane is closed, sorry for the inconvenience. Now this lane has been like this for a while: as in a month or two while. They still have not repaired it for use. Thats #1.#2: I went to another CVS about 2 miles down the road or so and pulled up, hardly any wait. The tech told me she used to work at the other one and that as long as they had my information there, they would have her info in the system and it would be an hour and a half or so. I said already good, Ill be back.Returned approx. an hour and a half later and there was a different employee, who told me they werent ready after that wait time. She said she could fax them to the one on Owen drive and theyd be ready within the hour.I went back after an hour, not ready. The employee proceeded to tell me when I asked What takes them so long to fill? that they were:**Short staffed**Only had 2 hands and had to type things in**Just got the fax (which I knew was untrue bc I watched the only employee send it at the other CVS)Apparently the manager at that store is incompetent and imo needs to be fired and replaced ASAP. There is ALWAYS a long wait time, always rude staff, and the drop off lane has been broken for MONTHS. In short, do not go here.
Love using my coupons
Slow, not friendly. Go to the one on raeford rd.
Hate to write a bad review but I just hated my experience today. The lady at the counter was completely clueless of her job. The wait time in actually seeing a pharmacists was also excessive (+50minutes) to include the drive thru. Sorry guys and gals step up your game or get a new job.
Do not order Christmas cards from here.
Drive thru had a long line and they were just letting this customer sit there and wait for their prescriptions at the window instead of moving them on to get to other customers.
24 hours
Pharmacy staff very rude.
Has to be the rudest people i have come across in this town.
Friendly, close to home, this has been my CVS
So unhappy.
Idiots.
My six year old had an appointment at this clinic this evening at 5:45. She needed to use the bathroom when we were on our way there. Went inside and bathrooms were out of order with a sign saying to use port a potties in the parking lot. Ughh! Went outside and both of the potties (which were located by covid testing area) were out of toilet paper and the hand washing station was out of soap! Absolutely disgusting!!! This is a healthcare business???? I also told employee at cash register nicely that they were out of both and she seemed unphased by it.
