They have absolutely all things Razorback, with attractive layout throughout the store. Check out ladies Saturday took good care of us, offered clear bags so we could take our purchases into the Razorback game. Its a pretty store, lots of light and glass. Coming back soon!
Book was ordered on 8/8/21 but was on backorder. When I called today to check on its status I was told my order had been canceled. I did not cancel my order and received no email or notice that it had been canceled. All they could say was sorry and they had no explanation as to why the order was canceled. I asked if they had more copies of this book today as it is two days into classes starting, I’m told no and they don’t know when they’ll have it. I called Dickson Street Bookstore and they have seven copies. I’d go to Dickson if at all possible.
Enjoyed watching the womens soccer team beat Tennessee on Friday and the football team beat Georgia Southern on Saturday!
Had everything I desired and supporting the school by buying there.
Soo many great options to choose from highly recommended
Never any great sales or clearance items like at other university book stores but they have a great selection.
Manager was very rude. Wasn’t willing to help or explain cut me off several times while talking to her I finally got annoyed and just left. I’ve been using this bookstore for the last three years and will not be returning. Do not recommend
Staff is always helpful. They havent had what Ive needed but they have text books still coming in.
Their customer service is useless and unwilling to help you find a solution to the problem you are having. It makes it much harder to help a customer when there is no one answering phones. They had no information to offer on my seemingly missing textbooks two days before classes start. If its not too late for you go to The Campus Bookstore on Dickson street.
A lot of friendly people my daughter started her first year there. 2021
You can get most textbooks and supplies for your classes here, but dont expect to get a great deal.
I just love it
Nice, very clean good price
Meh, B&N owns it. It sells overpriced college wear.
Im never shopping here again. Id rate it lower if I could. I was explicitly told that I purchased a textbook and that it would be delivered in about a week. Two weeks passed, and I called again to check on it and was rudely told that I was wrong, that I never purchased it, and that the books werent even in. The art and architecture sections have been completely botched. Theres no point in coming here, you can get everything cheaper and better quality somewhere else. Barnes and Nodle screwed this place over.
They have nice apparel but I dont understand $130+ for some sweatshirts.
Normally I dont write reviews for anything, but this was one of the worst experiences Ive had at any tech store. My computer had a hardware problem and needed the entire keyboard and top case replaced. Thats no problem. However, when I came in the first time to tell them about my computer problem the computer didnt mess up immediately so they sent me away and wouldnt take the computer. I went to a nearby table, waited a minute so, then when it did mess up took it back to the counter so that they would begrudgingly check it in. The gentleman at the counter had zero customer service skills, was very uninterested, and did not answer many questions I did have. I was impressed with the speed in which they were able to get the repair done. It only took them 1 business day. Although two days later the same issue occurred and the best answer they gave me was I guess just bring it back in. No refund. No actual fix. Nothing. $300 down the drain, and they didnt even completely inspect the computer for issues. Overpriced, sloppy inspection, and horrible customer service. Needless to say I took my MacBook elsewhere and will never use this service again.
Made a trip from bentonville to fayetteville to exchange a Christmas present just now. 11am. Google says open but they are NOT. Retail places are open everywhere but here. No holiday hours posted. Waste of my time. Phone number doesnt work. Some school. Terrible job guys. Get it together.
For all your books and accessories, if you go to U of A, but also for all your Razorback clothing and memorabilia, there is no better place. Location, parking! yes parking! and friendly employees make your visit a joy. Im there three or four times per semester, and I always have a good time.
Prices are too high
Staff is generally very helpful. Of course, the textbooks are outrageously priced, but it is not the bookstores fault. Good coffee at the cafe, and a nice selection of novels and magazines. They also have quite a bit of Razorback official clothing.
Update (see below): since my last review, they processed the refund and removed the hold for my charge. I am not sure that they would have done this if I had not kept my receipt. Considering this, I have raised the review to a 2-star.I decided to shop exclusively from Chegg.com and Amazon.com one semester [difference in pricing is great] and took back a rental book for a return. They processed the return; at the end of the semester, I was charged the full price of the returned book (200 dollars). I have contacted the person I was told to get in touch with if I had any questions about the charge, and have not received a response. Draw your own conclusions from this case of theft.
I rented a textbook from this bookstore as well as a few others. The other rentals sent me a reminder to return my book. Not this place. I contacted the bookstore but got no response. I have since been charged $200 on top of the rental fee of nearly $75. Chegg not only was the same rental fee, but they also gave me reminders to return my books. Much better experience not dealing with the bookstore.
Nice prices
Ive found that its easier to shop online with Amazon. The UA Bookstore briefly advertised that it would match Amazons prices, but those signs didnt stick around very long. Gosh, I wonder why?
Very clean and new, great selection of Razorback gear as well as some other brands such as Fayettechill. Good book selection usually, but you usually cant beat Amazons prices. They do, however, match Amazons prices for new books only.
I bought the book on their online website and a week and a half later I got a message that they couldnt get it for me (this was then less than a week before classes start). That alone is stupid because you assume when you order something the business has it. Now I look on their website again and it shows I can order it, but now its $22 more expensive for the exact same thing. Go figure. Looks to me like they just didnt want to sell it to me at the original price I bought it for. To Amazon I go.
Not so many textbooks available there. But most of them are good.
I ordered a brand new MacBook Pro from the Apple website and the screen had glitches after using it for a couple of months. I took it to the tech center to get it fixed under the one year warranty. They gave it back to me and make it sounded like I accidentally broke my screen so they wont cover it even though I was just taking notes in my history class when it happened. They also said I had to use my own pocket money which wouldve costed nearly $700.My fiancé was furious and wanted to try a different place in Rogers that also Mac certified. Not only did they fix my screen, I didnt have to spend a single dime on it because the one year warranty covered it. The store also gave me a 90 days warranty if my screen has any additional problems. This school only knows how to suck money from the students and the workers there dont actually care about their jobs. Worst experience ever!
Computer Store staff are all blank faced, dead-eyed and milquetoast. They have no interest in providing anything but the bare minimum of customer service. That coupled with high prices makes me wonder why anyone wouldnt go straight to Amazon for whatever they need. Doubt Ill be coming back. This is how you kill a business.
BE AWARE! DO NOT buying anything here. This is a stealer store, a money maker of UAFS. Prices here are much more expensive than other online book stores. If you prefer new book, go search for Chegg, Amazon, Ebay. There are both buy or rent option for both new and used books. AND A LOT CHEAPER. Also there are UAFS used books for sale groups on Facebook, look into these first. Save your money.UAFS administrators are trying to find the new ways to steal money from student. They forced almost all staffs to required access code. They deployed the meaningless but all about money Parking Program 2 years ago, we clearly have no benefits from it but they. Think about it. With the little more money, go to Fayetteville for better everything. UAFS administrators have gone too far on this.I am glad I can transfer out of here before everything get worse.
Good people, and a great place to buy your book needs
I can call anytime and get help with any issue i need. They support two diverse groups of costumers, and i have been pleased to say that i am happy to have this support as a staff member at the university.
Its a really nice place but prices are not for students. Dickson bookstore has cheaper options for the same book or other stuff.
Everything plus more! Loved it.
Bought 2 of my Japanese at a very good price, I recommend it
The customer service there is absolutely appalling. It is as if they do not want to assist you at all and will do all that they can to find the easy way out of solving your problem. Regarding the pricing, the prices are really expensive and you are better off shopping online such as Amazon.
Ff
Only here for few days & closed for armed forces day & website said open 🙄
Truely-Yes.
Large place, very well organized

Prices are a rip off but they have almost everything you will need for class

Got your school needs in one stop
Great service
Tech department sucks
Too pricey
Prices are very high

Always competent advice
