Its interesting that there are reviewers on here calling others Chads and Karens, while simultaneously posting a bunch of fake positive reviews. With a bunch of people with the SAME and or similar last names, who we all know are family member of the management team. There is even someone on here with SAME NAME with different spelling. Im from right here in North Carolina (not Indonesia) and the experience I have had with Henry upon every visit to the store has been the same - worthy of the ONE star I am giving. This place WOULD be great, had Henry been better with customer service. My claims are not fake, they are based off of my own experience. Its great you get treated with respect, but until that is the same for everyone, I WILL POST MY EXPERIENCE AS I SEE FIT. Seeing as how I have shopped at this location since its opening, and my experience with him has been the same each time, I would say its pretty valid. But its okay. If the management team wants to have all of their family members post false reviews to help boost their rating when SEVERAL guests have had THE SAME issue with Henry, I will just take it up to the corporate level. Using fake positive reviews to silence ACTUAL EXPERIENCE is NOT okay. If the manager spent less time talking to coworkers about guests, maybe he could learn to be better at his job. My honest advice is to shop elsewhere, because its just not worth you time OR hard earned money.

This Box Lunch is the best! I’ve always had a great experience in this store. The store is well maintained, clean and organized. The staff here is amazing! They are always friendly and willing to help. I recommend this Box Lunch to all my friends and family! Keep up the amazing work!!

I absolutely love coming into this store! It’s always clean and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Alex is absolutely amazing and Henry is always willing to allow me to borrow the scissors to open my mystery items and we geek out about it a little. Would recommend all the times, especially if your want to feel nostalgic.

They always have my Lilo and Stitch items in stock. I am such a Disney person, because we lost our Disney store it’s nice to have a store with Disney items. They abide by the COVID restrictions and precautions. A really great company and 5 star customer service. They are always on it. I recommend this store if you like up to date shows such as Rick and Marty/anime/the office. It’s appropriate for kids as well. Great variety of items a long with discounts, sales, and special collectible items.

I love this store. It has all the stuff I’ve ever wanted as a kid growing up. The staff is always helpful. Honestly the only reason why I gave them a shot is because Henry always treated me well at another store he used to work at and told me that he was switching over. I’ve moved away since but every time I come back into town to visit. I always get treated like a friend coming back.

Very disappointed in the overall environment! The workers are very nice and inviting when you walk in the store and will definitely offer help, however Henri I believe is his name radiates the worst energy... I have purchased from here many times and box lunch definitely gets my money however the main manager Henri should not make it to where you feel personally discriminated against and I am disappointed in not only his leadership skills but also his customer service... Will take my business online from here on...

It’s sad that people are trying to tell their truth and explain how they felt a negative impact from someone and literally two days later there’s over 20 people spamming leaving good comments back to back to back to back. It’s not right to shame those for speaking up when necessary. I used to enjoy shopping at Box Lunch but this has definitely gotten out of hand and I will never go back after seeing all of this unless there’s a change in management. Very disappointed in the staff for this and I hope something is done ASAP.

I Absolutely love boxlunch. I ho in there so much its almost like my second home. There is a lady named Alex she is Awesome. I think the other 3 ladies that work there are so sweet. Henry is a person you warm up to and once you get to know him you get to know the cool side of him too. I see a lot of negative views but for me I Lovee this store too much.

Just wanted to say I love the store its the store manager that ruins the experience for me everytime. I have spent money numerous times from online shopping, store pick up and even in store. The store manager Henri is highly unprofessional. He is a grown man whom thinks its okay to talk about young adults like myself (20) to fellow people. Me being a shift lead and manager at two locations at Cross Creek mall, I know that this type of behavior is highly unprofessional. This isnt his first time having my name in his mouth either. But enough is enough. If I had the option to leave character traits of him these would be the following: rude, judgemental, disrespectful. I chose to shop in the store when he is not there due to him making me and my peers feel very uncomfortable when he is present. I will take my concerns to high authorities also .

Henry has very bad customer service! I will not be wasting my money in there anymore. He was very rude and disrespectful to me. I have spent so much of my money there, but will not be spending anymore. I will also be letting all my friends know not to spend there money there as well. Please hire people who enjoy their job and actually want to help customers.

From what I have seen Henry and Alex are both great workers and these other reviews seem very targeted at making the rating go down with false claims of misconduct. Ive had nothing but good experiences here and dont understand all the negatively. All these comments happening at the same time saying almost identical things seems a little suspicious

The employees were super helpful and I was approached 2x during my visit. They were happy and interested in assisting. The store is almost like a smaller Hot Topic with unusual items. A spider man crock pot and all sorts of character socks. There were many things there I couldn’t connect with because I don’t know what Dragon Ball is and I’m not familiar with Star Wars characters. I found a silly lunch box I plan to replace my sons with this morning. I just thought it would make him laugh. Hoping he sees the humor?Their bag says “Get some-Give Back”. Did you know for every $10 you spend Box Lunch gives back to the food bank? That is super cool!

Henry is the only reason for my dissatisfaction. If he is there go another day when he is not working. He is very judgmental to the point you feel discriminated against. It’s sad to still have people work in stores that mistreat not only their customers but also their staff. Don’t even think about applying either because he’s extremely judgmental when it comes to who is applying (based on looks not even on your credentials).

This is definitely my last experience at this Box Lunch location. I ended up interacting with Henri, I think his name is, and he was very rude and apathetic. He just seemed like he either didn’t want to be there or he didn’t want to talk to me. I had a few questions about some of the products I previously seen, and he just seemed to not care.Never stepping foot in there again. I don’t recommend this place as it is now to anyone else.

Unfortunately it was my first and last time in the store, because I was kicked out for not having the right kind of mask. There is a company policy in place that says people who are wearing gaiter masks cant be in the store because the company says they arent effective. Which I have two that have a triple layer of cotton and is CDC approved. So Im confused how they think its not approved, but thats another topic. So when Im told by the employee that I cant be in the store with my mask, I ask to talk to someone about it because I want to know why. The person I talk to says they apologize and informed me of the companys policy and I wasnt angry at them, but I was frustrated so I left. However I cant abide by this, I work with the public whenever Im on the job and this mask, and the other one I have, has gotten me through the pandemic just fine. But for this place and their policy its not good enough. So Ill just kindly take my business elsewhere.

While shopping at the Cross Creek Mall location, I found a Frozen T-shirt along with a few other items. The cashier, Alex, was absolutely incredible and so kind. She made conversation with not only my sister and I while checking out, but many others as well. As well as letting us know about all of the ongoing promotions and telling us about the rewards program.My sister kept going back and forth with whether or not to get this or that when it came to checkout, but Alex never once got angry or irritated with her. Instead, she smiled and spoke to her in a relatable sense.She made the shopping experience so much better for us, and we will definitely be returning in the future!

I love Box lunch. I usually shop online. I visited the store on December 04, 2019 to adjust a price change on items I had purchased the day before. I didnt catch his name, but a short chubby caucasian male with two different hair colors had initially tried to give me a hard time. Stating if he changed the prices on the item for me hed have to do it for every customer. Um, no. He obviously wasnt savvy with their policies. Box lunch prices to their online website. Thank goodness another young man by the name of Jay(his name was worth remembering) actually cut that other staff member off from continuing to give me a hard time, and assured me he could help. He did so very promptly and without hassle. I appreciated it as I was with three very small children, and when I come to resolve an issue, Im not looking for anything other than positive adjustments. Thank you Jay and box lunch!
