We ordered a Cookie N Cream (Oreo) Cheesecake for my daughter for her birthday. She loved it & it takes ALOT to please her food wise! (picky teenager). We enjoyed it as well. We’ve also ordered Red Velvet Cheesecake Cakes in the past LOVED THEM!! & have been in the boutique numerous times and purchased different cupcakes and cakes in which we’ve all enjoyed!!

Just had the Sweet Boutiques new Old-Fashioned Hummingbird Cake. Their chef bakes from scratch and puts real cream cheese in the icing, so it tastes just like I remember from when I was a kid. Thanks to Team Sweet Boutique for bringing back memories of home. Im one happy girl today!

We used Sweet Boutique for out wedding back in October. The strawberry moscato is one of the best strawberry cakes that Ive tasted and still remains on of my favorites, unfortunately it is paired with some of the worst service that Ive had. When placing the order for the cake I explained that I wanted to incorporate the same live flowers from the wedding into the cake which was not a problem during the order process. A few days before I checked with my florist to confirm that the flowers would be there when the cake arrived. I checked back with Sweet Boutique and the associate told me that she didnt know about the flowers but she would check with the owner. I called back later to confirm and was told that it would not be a problem. I also called to confirm the time of arrival but they could not even give me an estimate, only that they would be there before the start of the wedding. When she arrived with the cake she was upset that I was not waiting on her and that she had to wait while I got someone to assist her. Also she refused to place the flowers on the cake, saying that the flowers were not prepared the way that she wanted them. Overall the cake tasted amazing, but the service was horrible.

Sweet Boutique has been my bakery of choice for a few years now. I decided to purchase my wedding cake recently with the sweet boutique & I was highly pleased and loved it so!!! The cake was a lovely 3 tiers, 3 different flavors and flowers galore that were edible. Wedding guests complimented us so on how wonderful the cake tasted & how beautiful it was. Im very pleased with the service provided by the staff. Ive placed an order this week for my baby shower & cant wait to see & taste the final results! Highly recommended for special occasions or for your daily sweet tooth!!

This bakery is fantastic! I have never had anything that I didn’t like. The desserts are moist and the selection is amazing. You need to go to here! I love them.

My bestie n I tried the pumpkin cheesecake and the red velvet cheesecake cake! Both were great, but i recommended the red velvet cheesecake cake cuz its 2 die 4!

I just got married on June 15, 2013. Sweet Boutique make my wedding cakes and they turned out better than I could have imagined! We asked for a tire cake and a traditional wedding cake. We asked for the tire cake to look like it had splashed mud on the wedding cake. The tread and rim looked very realistic, the white wedding cake details were superb, the cakes were moist and delicious and everything was delivered on time! They worked with us to ensure we were getting exactly what we wanted!I would suggest making an appointment to go to a cake tasting, theres free champagne and you get a discount for ordering that day!

I’m so upset. I’ve purchased two cakes in the past (2016 & 2017) from this Bakery and both were really good! I’m not sure if there are new owners/bakers or what but this year I ordered a baby shower cake for my son that cost over $200 but looked like something I could have gotten off the shelf at Walmart. I had to YouTube how to work with Fondant. I then went to Hobby Lobby and spent another $30 to make the cake look like it was worth at least $100. I’m beyond disappointed and haven’t even cut the cake. I probably won’t be going back.

I have been ordering a cake for the past 3 years for my birthday, this year was a bad experience. We have had an all whipped cake before, my husband ordered the same this year. They had put the sweet icing instead which we do not like, the chocolate cake was hard. My husband asked for it to be remade they argued that they could not do an all whipped cake which is not possible because the cakes before were all whipped. Once remade, the cake was all whipped but had some sweet icing mixed in and the cake was hard and dry like they just replaced the frosting. Something has changed maybe a new baker but we will not be returning. Very disappointing because the cakes were delicious.

I live in California and my son is stationed in n.c in the army I called several bakeries out there because I wanted an oreo cake for my sons birthday, so Von at sweet boutique bakery helped me with my order and she even went out of her way to deliver the cake to my son. She genuinely took the time to make sure I was happy and she gave my son his cake. He took me that the cake was delicious. Im so pleased with the outcome. I just want to thank Von for being so gracious and caring. You guys are simply amazing!!! Thank you so much for making my son have a fantastic start to his birthday!!!!😊😁👏

Went in to order a birthday cake 10 days in advanced and went to pick it up the day of my sons birthday party and they had no trace of me ordering anything. Absolutely inexcusable.

I am disappointed in the cupcakes that were 4 bucks each. The cupcakes were dry and cold as if they were frozen. I let it sit out so it can be room temp but it was still a massive let down. I wont be back...that was 12 bucks wasted. I will stick with Small Cakes.

This review is late, however, they did the cake for my baby shower and if was PERFECT! Taste excellent and was exactly what I asked for.

After hearing co workers talk about this bakery I thought I would check it out. The cashier was friendly enough however the cupcake I purchased was terrible. First off they are shamefully over priced. The cupcake was supposed to be peanut butter and chocolate; I assume the object on top that resembled a rock was a piece of a peanut butter cup. The cake was dry & crumbly and the icing was runny. It seemed to be old but I thought maybe it will taste better than it looks. After all I just plunked down $ 3.97, YES $ 3.97 for a CUPCAKE so I was compelled to at least give it a try. So much for thinking, it was worse than it looked. I will definitely not be back, nor will I suggest Sweet Boutique to anyone.

Today my mother & I stopped by this bakery and the young lady working there was so sweet, informative and very patient . Not only did she deal with my indecisive mother with the highest level of customer service, she also informed me about all the cakes & products they have . We ended up leaving with a slice of red velvet cake, which was so moiste & delicious . I usually go to a bakery across town, but after my experience today, the sweet boutique will be my go to bakery !!

This sweet little spot is located inside Belk Department Store and sells some of the yummies treats you can imagine! Not just unique cupcakes, but creamy homemade cheesecakes, pound cake, and red velvet. My girlfriends and I stop by every Thursday afternoon for dessert and coffee and we love it!

Ordered a supposedly strawberry moscato cake it excessively dry and had no taste whatsoever of moscato. I paid $60 for that damn cake and I am DISSATISFIED❗️❗️ This was really a rip off I’ll never step foot back in here .

Called me the day before to ask if they could add fondant to the cake due to the design I didnt want fondant but agreed to it. Went Friday evening to pick up my cake for a Saturday wedding. I was so upset the cake looked nothing like we talked about I asked for teal lillys they said they made a change because it looked tacky you called me about the fondant but couldnt call about a huge change. I wanted lillys due to it being the 1st flower my now husband ever gave me I was stuck with a cake I didnt like and all I could do was cry all the way home

To be disappointed, yet again, by the cupcakes here is a sad thing. I really had high hopes for this local business. They seemed to have it together when they first opened; however, the cupcakes just never make the grade. They are always very lovely to look at but the frosting is like eating tablespoon of lard and the cake is very dry. I hate to be so critical of a local business, but please work on this. We are hoping to see another a woman owned, and hometown business here in Fayetteville, N.C. overcome these adversities and succeed. No matter what you do, repeat business is always a saving grace for all of us local business owners. Good luck to you, but please ensure that some type of quality checks are performed in the future so that customers always receive the products they expect.

I am beyond furious with the service I received from Sweet Boutique Bakery! I ordered a cake for my grandmothers 75th birthday and after getting it two hours late it was wrong so I call and the owner says I can come back up there to have her fix it but shes leaving at four and I am at my best friends daughters first birthday and its snowing! So after the party I drive in the bad weather back up there where no one speaks to me and they take the cake to the back and I sit there for forty minutes when the owner finally comes out with my cake. The color is supposed to be lavender and is an almost dark purple, the writing looks like a kindergartener could have written it, the teapot is missing embellishments that were in the picture I emailed to them and confirmed by phone that it would look exactly like! the worst part is the owner avoiding me by not talking to me and then making excuses because she has a lack of communication and organization with her staff...so all in all SIX hours later I have a cake I could have done myself but better that isnt even right and overpriced to boot! All I got was a $20 refund! Never again will I use them or refer them to anyone.

I have an addiction to cupcakes so I was really excited when I found this place (I just moved to the area).Unfortuntely - and this was my own mistake - I bought half a dozen and it was one of the worst purchases (18 dollars) Ive ever made.All the icings are the same, they just add different flavors of extract to it. The drizzles are storebought (Hersheys chocolate syrup/Smuckers Caramel). And the cakes itself were dry and tasted artificial. I got an Oreo cupcake and all it was was a vanilla cupcake with vanilla icing rolled in crushed oreos. I was expecting oreos in the icing, in the batter, and/or stuffed inside the cake like a mousse filling.The icing was good but there was nothing special about it. I have never made a cupcake from scratch before and I can tell you that I could make the same exact thing they made, if not better.Maybe Im just used to the best of the best back where I used to live but I wont be coming back here again.

I was extremely disappointed with the quality, baking, and decorating done by this business. I was excited to be having a specialty cake done for my daughters 16th birthday and couldnt wait for her too see how it turned out. I had them make it in buttercream and it was NOT buttercream. It tasted like cool whip. My daughter hates the taste of whip cream and would not even take one bite. On top of that, the cake decoration itself looked very amateur and I was embarrassed. When I confronted the manager with my concerns she only explained that I did not know what real ingredients tasted like and I was used to Walmart brand. For the price I paid, I wouldve gotten a much larger, tastier cake and it wouldve been beautiful. If you are looking for a professional cake decorator, keep looking. They may have been voted best in Fayetteville but I am telling you it is not for their skills. I had no choice but to take this cake to my party. I had nothing else to take and they wont refund your deposit. Very bad service and they care less about how the consumer feels about the finished product. You will be disappointed.

Do not order your cakes from here, they have dementia and lose your cake.P.S. They are dry and tasteless, find yourself another bakery
