Walker brothers, Not bad, but Ive had better! In my opinion, strawberry fields is much better. My baked mushroom omelet with cheddar was very good The hash Browns with onions and cheese were not that flavourful unfortunately. My wifes lox Platter was average! The coffee was very good! Importantly, the service was Triple A!

Had the habanero omelet and apple pancake for two of us to share. The food was fantastic with fresh ingredients in the omelet and the apple pancake was incredible. Service was very friendly and our food came out very quickly. This place was amazing.

This place is consistently good every time. I got the crab Benedict 18.50, the eggs were poached perfect. I did get a few eggs egg shells, but it was still worth ordering.The outside seating is really nice. They have neat areas that are more distant from the other tables.I would always recommend this place.

Popular breakfast spot that is always busy. We both ordered the Walker Bros Combo which was hashbrowns with onions and cheese, topped with 2 eggs. It also included pancakes. We both thought it was ok. The hashbrowns needed to be cooked longer and everything seemed to lack flavor. The table next to us ordered the apple pancake and it looked delicious. I recommend trying that. Our service was also very good so I would try it again.

Wonderful place to eat breakfast. Service was pleasant and enjoyable, if not perfectly prompt. Would come back anytime Im in the area.Santa Fe omelette was tasty, but lacked the promised spicy heat. Pancakes were small but very good, sausage was excellent. Salsa in the side was thinner than I prefer, but obviously fresh.

Been a long time fan of this place and normally the service is amazing. Was a bit lacking today and not sure if it’s because of the 4th holiday weekend or recovering from COVID but they were so slow and we had to wait a while for all our meals to come out. Food was good though. People were really nice just they were overwhelmed. I’d definitely go there again as I have for years. The apple pancake is a classic of theirs so gotta give that a try if you haven’t had it before.

Weve only been to this one (a few times) and Wilmette (multiple times). Normally the experience is great but our server let us down. When she brought my wifes latte it spilled over the top and onto the table. Things like that happen. Not a big deal if its taken care of in a timely manor. Didnt happen this day. Our server left several napkins and walked to another table. I reminded her again and got more napkins. Finally a man came to our table and took care of the situation. I forgot to mention... when we placed our order we also ordered a cinnamon, Apple pancake to go at the end of the meal. When we got it home we opened it up it was the size of a store bought pie. Years ago I ordered one and it was 3 or 4 bigger in diameter and a lot taller. (It was magic) This time it was like a pie from Jewel. (Sorta tasted like one too) Everyone cuts back with something.

My family and I have been going to Walker Brothers for 31 years. All of them. I frequent the Wilmette and Highland Park locations all the time. I was heading west today and decided to stop at the Lincolnshire location. At the entrance the hostess and another employee were having a conversation. I just stood there and waited. The hostess turned around and said to me. What do you want?! Like I was putting her out of her way. I was kind of shocked and I relied. To be seated She literally snapped at me. Why didnt you say so!? I was flabbergasted at the tone she used on me. She literally threw the menu on the table. Now let me be clear. I Love Walker Brothers! I have never had a bad meal. I love the food. And my grown children who have moved away. Must include a visit every single time they come home. Its a thing! I have never experienced such treatment in a Walker Brothers establishment. The employees are always very nice and lovely people. This woman was downright rude. And certainly does not set and example for Walker Brothers. And to be greeted like that. I almost turned around and walked out.

I had the Turkey BLT sandwich with Creamy Tomato Soup. My food was very good. My wife and our friend both had Swedish Pancakes. Their pancakes were overdone so that they were very crispy, not how we expect Swedish Pancakes to be. Service was friendly and pretty good considering there was the typical Sunday morning crowd of people waiting in line for tables.

Service is spotty at best: call for pick up - left on hold today; last 3 visits food was overcooked .... Bacon soft does not mean crispy bacon and hash brown with cheddar cheese lightly browned does not mean crunchy potatoes covered with cheese. Lincolnshire location has constant over in staff and customer service ..... management does not care about their repeat customers. I gave them several chances to redeem themselves, but wasted my time and money.

Well, as advertised their famous apple cinnamon pancake lived up to the billing. You might think that $12 for “one pancake” is a rip off. This could easy feed two or three. And I’m not a light eater. Crispy chewy crunchy cinnamon sugar topping. Hot tender chewy apples with a crepe/custard feel to the batter/pancake. Not sure it’s really a pancake. Not light and fluffy. It’s more of a cake/danish. Not a bad thing.Also had thick sliced bacon that was perfect.Minus one star for my waiter and hostess combo. Service was ok. Slow. Hard to flag down. And I went later on a Monday night when it wasn’t that full. So who knows.

This place is always good. Great staff, good food. Always very quick service too. Come here on my lunch break at least once a week.

My friend advise this is one of the best restaurants for Breakfast and it is ! The service is fast and efficient. The server works very hard and keep filling up and looking after the table. The food is great and environment is really ice. The restaurant is very busy but everyone is feeling comfortable of the enjoyment. Its a great place to spend your morning over the weekend!

My wife is a bit of a crepes fanatic so naturally she loves the way they do crepes here.Ultra clean and utterly elegant Chicagoland staple bolstered by superior quality food & customer service should definitely be a must for anyone visiting the Chicago area.Just a heads up that any Walker Bros. gets super busy on wknd mornings so be prepared to wait some. A memorable dining experience not be missed and bravo for the superb service!

This legendary breakfast restaurant is justly famous for its wide range of incredible pancakes, waffles, and egg creations. There isnt an item on the menu that isnt absolutely memorable. Excellent service rounds out the experience. Highly recommend!

My family and I have been going to Walker Brothers for many many years. Never again! My daughters, 3 young granddaughters and I went there today for lunch. We all ordered a meal. My daughter asked if they can put a few chocolate chips on one pancake to make a smile face for my 4 year old granddaughter. A few minutes later, a man came over to our table with the server, yelling at the server saying “no I’m not giving her an extra pancake”. The server explained that we didn’t want an extra pancake, just a couple chocolate chips. Oh was he rude. I was so embarrassed for the server. We said forget it, no problem. When he walked away, she apologized and said he was the owner and wouldn’t allow it. She told me he was in the kitchen and saw the request. I would have paid for the chips!!! I will never go there again. He was a jerk. I did leave the server a very nice tip.

Traditional pancakes and breakfast meals done well. The line can be long, so plan accordingly. Clean and bright restaurant and friendly staff.

We fully enjoyed our brunch today at Walker Brothers! Service was excellent and curbside delivery was prompt! We can’t wait to go back again, they are close to our vet and made our wait at the vet much more enjoyable today!

Good food does have peanut oil but will work with you. French toast crunchy is good until it gets soggy than bleh

Corned beef hash tastes like its from an industrial can. Service was good. Specialty pancake is always enjoyable.

We went twice on our visit. The first time was 10/10. Second ... 4/10. I think the second experience was the fluke hence the 4. The benedict with all the veg was so tasty! And the hashbrowns were amazing!

Good breakfast restaurant in the area for their options, service, and convenience. Large selection of pancakes, waffles and omelettes. We had their omelettes, pancakes, and I had their crab eggs Benedict. Their omelets were very large and they let you customize your order. The pancakes were soft and fluffy. My only complaint was that my eggs Benedict were overcooked.

My girlfriend and I had fantastic experience and food was great. Staff was nice, helpful. Freshly squeezed orange juice is a must try. She had the pecan Belgian waffle. I had the meat lovers omelette.If you’re looking for a breakfast spot while in Lincolnshire like we were I highly recommend Walker Bros.

Absolutely wonderful experience!I called asking a ridiculous request: “is your patio open?” I realized it’s April and it’s 50 degrees but my sister and I have our dog with us and he doesn’t do well in the car (we are traveling from Indiana).Completely without judgement, the Walker Bros Staff opened their patio for us and served us efficiently and patiently, setting us up in a lovely sunny spot out back; even offering to bring our pup some water.The food was scrumptious and satisfying! I can’t wait to one day return to this location and enjoy the company and scenery again.Thank you Walker Bros Staff!!

Over all good food. Drinks are over priced. 3.5 $ for juice, coffee etc seem to be pricey .coffee isnt that great either . Other than that ..food was food .

Good food....good service...a little pricey...

We arrived at restaurant and no one greeted us. We had to ask them to be sitted. Then waited 10 minutes for the waitress to come to our table. A runner brought my husbands food out and said mine would be right out. After waiting 5 minutes my husband is asking where my food was. After they finally brought my food out the waitress came to our table one time and never returned. We had to ask for our check as well. Absolutely horrible service we will never return to this restaurant

I was visiting my family from Los Angeles, and with us, are four children, two are below the age of 7, and kudos to them for being so patient with us. They had some crayons and some blank color-in art to keep them busy and fidgeting, too. haha. I was super thankful they had that.They served very generous portions, and one plate can even be enough for two people. Our server was so mindful of our orders, too that he saw an opportunity to get them as a combo and save - now thats paying attention.Bathrooms were very clean and tidy and a lot of room for parking.

Food was good but the old blonde ladys attitude towards everyone was simply horrible. She needs to take customer service training. She was rude over the phone and she was being to every customer that walked into the restaurant.

Walker Bros. is a Chicago staple. The food is consistently good, the service seems to have gone from 3 to 5 stars. Call ahead, it can get busy.

I used to love this place and it was one of my favourite brunch places in the area. Since the last couple of times I ordered pick up, I face some issues:1) they didn’t get my order right and gave me meat when nothing in my order had meat. When I called them they were so unapologetic and I had to explain it 4 times to two different people about what had happened. I was told on the phone that that omlette should have meat unless you asked for it. This was after I explained to him that I DONT EAT MEAT2) they made us wait for a long time even for curb side pick upIt used to be a good place but recently we have had a couple of bad experiences and I would not recommend to go here

This place is fantastic. Just had a late breakfast there because my husband was craving 49ers. He wanted hash browns with cheese and onion and our server suggested a Spicer option with Pico and habanero cheese--he devoured them. I got the bacon lover and eggs with chocolate chippys, soooo delish. The eggs were fresh and high quality, the bacon was thick and cooked perfectly. The chocolate chippys were the icing on the cake. Needless to say we will be back. Best breakfast Ive had in a long while!

Had a delicious meal here (like all Walker Bros). When my fiance and I were leaving, she accidentally forgot her leftover apple cinnamon pancakes on the table and our waitress actually chased us outside after we left to hand us the leftovers. Top notch customer service and will definitely be back. Also very covid friendly. Well spaced and tables, chairs, and menus sanitized between customers.
