I don’t know about y’all but I always have a “list” when I go to the hardware store. If I need paint I go there first in the hopes they’ll take my order and let me finish my shopping then pick it up whenever it’s done. For whatever reason, the paint employees here want to finish every order before they’ll take a new order. I literally had a lady stand with her back to me staring at the paint mixing machine waiting for it to finish instead of taking my order. 🤦♀️
This store has a lot of issues. A week ago, I placed a delivery-to-home order for $5K+ in composite decking. It was supposed to arrive on the first Wednesday. My contractor waits around all day and they never come. Come to find out the lady told me the wrong Wednesday. Then, the day before they’re set to actually deliver, they call me and say they’re out of stock. 🤦♀️ They tried telling me I had to come in to get my refund before figuring out how to do it without my physical card. I place another pickup order the same day to complete a project (or I would’ve gone to Lowe’s) and they’re trying to give me a product that’s not even close to the same thing I ordered. Interestingly what they were trying to give me was 2x more expensive than what I ordered. The 2 stars is definitely for the gentleman (definitely newly hired) who brought the wrong order out to me because he was very nice and trying very hard to help..i think everyone just needs more training, leadership, or direction here..
If you own a home you need to consider where you get your basic needs for your general home upkeep. Home Depot has everything from air conditioning filters to LED light bulbs. This particular store had a very attentive staff member name Letita.
They let me check out at return desk with only a few items. I use a can and my car was closer to that exitI found associates available and willing to help
Great store. Electrical is in the back left corner of store. Odd layout. But good people so it’s all good.
Found a few bargains. In Virginia, there were NO WYZE video surveillance cameras within over 100 miles. I come to Georgia and this home depot has plenty, didnt have too many Blink products, but lots of others, including Nest and Dont. The ring spotlight surveillance camera is what I really want. $179 is out of my immediate budget, but this one is what people need to protect their property.
Older woman working the front door was amazing and very personable. She had a natural hair style and asked me about longhorn. Very amazing woman. I will be back

On last week I was out at Home Depot looking for some 27 gallon HDX bins. I discovered that they were out based on the display area being empty.I saw a wonderful employee name Jeremy and I asked him did they have anymore. Jeremy took him time and careful look at several overhead inventory to find me just what I needed. Thank you so much Jeremy. I greatly not only appreciate your kindness, but your patience. It is all about going the extra mile. I wish more people would just take care of their customers as you have done. Thank you again Jeremy.

Came here for the last time today. I’ve shopped here multiple times and the staff is consistently rude, unfriendly, and could careless if you need help. When you ask for help, they’re put out about it. One of the young ladies, who I think is supposed to be a greeter or is helping with the auto checkout stations, looks around scowling at everyone not saying a word. I asked her if she could call someone to help me get a large exterior door from a shelf, and she was obviously irritated with me. After waiting around, help never arrived. This place is just miserable and I’m guessing the bad customer service is a reflection of the management. I’ll pay more money somewhere else if I have to, to avoid this place.
I love Home Depot I can go there and get all the pretty plants to make my yard be Beauty and pretty to my face and to have day happy person!.
I thoroughly enjoyed the Fayette Pavilion Home Depot. Nicely laid out, helpful associates, well lit store. Displays and floor model appliances clean and neatly arranged and pricing and feature info prominently displayed. I easily found all four items on my list. I usually frequent the Morrow Home Depot but this just might become my go to Home Depot.
The manager Michelle quickly & swiftly fixed a problem I had in the paint department. Richard was such a nice guy who worked there he helped me load it. This is my favorite Home Depot in town andI am grateful Michelle made a stressful situation restored. Thanks again!

I left the Walmart and went to Home Depot thinking I would receive better service but I didn’t I received the exact same pitiful service as Fayetteville Walmart !!!!!!! But only this time I waited 30 minutes!!!!!!! Give back my star !!!!!
I go here about every other week. Sometimes hard to find an employee to help me find something but thats because theyre always helping other customers. No complaints!

Always clean and always have what we need. The staff could learn about customer service though. Unless you chase them down youre not gonna be helped, Im just glad we know what we need or how to find it before we get there.

Oh my gosh!! The best thing happened to my local HD!!! LUKE! LUKE! LUKE!!!The best customer service we have ever received! From the moment I waved for him to help us...til we walked out the door. Weve been shopping at this location for well over 10+ years and no one has ever mentioned the PRO Loyalty Program to us!! We have never received customer service like this! He explained so much to us about our power tools.....He rocks! He should be rewarded for being the most enthusiastic, helpful, and personable employee in the building!!!!!!

How bad can it get it takes longer to purchase parts after a long time finding the right parts ( i wish for a plumbing supply house) then the pro desk is closed going to returns ( phone sale) then waiting another 25 minutes for someone else who tells me to wait back in line because its a one line system. OH BoyHome depot has fallen off to a new level of respect and service with me

Frustrating to say the least. The website says they have two Cub Cadet 50 in. Zero-Turn mowers in stock. Go to purchase but they arent assembled. The one they have assembled a 42 in. is listed as out of stock.I purchased the 50 in mower onlineThe next day I received a text message saying the mower was ready for pick-up. When I get to the Home Depot, not only is the mower not ready, they didnt have it in stock.Assistant Manager Brian and I go back and forth on the misinformation on the website, the deception of sending a text telling me its ready for pick-up, willingness to take my money, and the mismanagement of the store. No wonder so many people didnt want to work and called in sick.

This home Depot is the worst one I have ever been to. You cant find know one too help you. The problem seems to be the manager of the store. She doesnt have a clue how to run a store. Everytime you find someone they say its not their department.
If you’re a pro who values time and prompt service, this is NOT the place for you, been here 30 minutes trying to get help at the pro services desk, every associate tells me they’re gonna send someone, I just want to pay and be on my way
If I could give this location zero stars I would. TERRIBLE customer service. I went in for a ryobi tool sale….. the didn’t have the tool I wanted…. Well they did it was just a different sku #. The heavy set bald tool department Superviser was probably the rudest person I’ve ever encountered in retail setting and wouldn’t ring up at the same price.. I won’t be back for anything ever again

Disappointed....ordered items online for pick up....all items available according to website. Waited 5 days, still nothing. Call up there and they tell me 2 items were not in stock and they are waiting for them. A couple hours later, the 2 items not in stock were cancelled on my order. I go up there to pick up what they did have....and find the 2 items I ordered in the floor for sale. They couldnt tell me what happened and why it happened. The only reason for the 3 star is because they attempted to make things right by discounting the items they cancelled.
Ive been shopping at HD since they opened (on Long Island). The skillset of the associates has DEFINITELY downgraded, but i used to drive past the Riverdale store to avoid being bombarded by contractors soliciting INSIDE the store and a deterioration in customer service to shop this location until a recent front end hire stood yelling at customers at self check out or loudly discussing his opinion of management, coworkers and other non related issues on numerous occasions. I started avoiding self checkout and walked across the store to check out in the garden section. Now I drive to Lovejoy, Peachtree City or even Morrow (BION).
Lowes products seem to be better and more readily available and prices are lower...
Do not come here if youre looking to buy appliances, 2 days in a row no one was there to sell.
One of my fav stores to buy things for my house... Especially the garden section..Recently bought some Pennington lime for my lawn..Price wasnt bad either..
No one who works theres fault that I could tell. However I was terribly disappointed. Had to tear apart a box to get the wood because it had sat in the rain and did it because I got tired of waiting for a forklift. Understaffed maybe? Im a contractor and will be leaving early in the morning to drive out of my way so that I dont spend money at this store. Literally left my plywood on a cart and bought what I did from there because its not available elsewhere. Will be making every effort within reason to no longer do business with home depot. Its an overpriced convince anyway.

Customer service is almost non existent at this location. They will walk right past without even looking at you. Staff also parks in the general parking lot and several of them take up more than one space (sometimes 4 spaces for 1 vehicle). Ive complained about an old white escalade multiple times and theyve done nothing about it. Lines in the gardening dept. can be all about 10+ people long and they will not open up the 2nd register even on a Saturday. Just go to Lowes in Fayetteville, they have a much smarter outdoor setup and the staff at least pretends that they care.
Last night I went to exchange my welding hood due to it not working.. This lady was being rude since the beginning stating that she wouldnt exchange something thats been used.. I told her I was well under the guidelines for an exchange on the store policy.. Just wanted to trade for a working one.. I didnt want money or store credit.. There was no reasoning with her.. She went to her manager and right away the manager approved it.. Something that she didnt like.. As she was doing the exchange she kept telling her manager and I quote Hes so lucky youre here and instead of saying something the manager just kept chuckling.. That right there is threatening someone.. I plan to speak with the store manager.. I have her on video in case you guys think Im lying..

It’s a Home Depot. This store gets a bad rap for customer service, but I have never had a problem and everyone has been as friendly as Chick Fil-A with me.
The workers are very helpful. Even if it isnt their department they will help as they can and find the right either for that department to furthur help you
Home Depot has some great employees in Fayetteville,Ga...Mr.Craig goes above & beyond to help you & yesterday Mike,in plumbing, was our answer man.Gave suggestions & showed how problem can be solved & hes funny.Both men have wonderful customer service skills,with great personalities as well.
Had to get some paint mixed, the staff was very helpful and got all my paint mixed up very quickly and we were on our way!

Ordered a refrigerator delayed a month just ordered a washing machine and apparently it was in “stock” but they just got it. No phone call or anything to let us know that our order wasn’t going to make it. Terrible customer service at this Fayetteville location

I wondered why the edger I bought online had been delivered to this store 2 days before but was reflecting pickup 2 weeks from that day. Went to see if I could pickup order early and the young lady initially couldnt find it. She went above and beyond looking for my edger. I was SUPER impressed with her patience and customer service! She could have easily said itll be ready for pickup in two weeks. Instead she helped me and remained pleasant the entire time! She had a long line and other customers were upset. I appreciate what she did for me!

I ordered online days ago and had my order confirmed by the store but upon arrival, I was given the incorrect item. After being forced to go inside the store during a pandemic, the rude woman working there told me that the item was sold out. But that makes no sense because I ordered days ago and online it said there were 6 in stock. Why did they not pack it immediately upon order? It makes no sense. The cashier had a horrible attitude with me from the moment I walked into the store.
Well organized, social distancing, store personnel seem on top off safe practices with masks and sanitizer. Its always a pleasure shopping at this location.

I asked two different employees to help me find a filter that I couldnt locate on the shelf. Neither would confirm in the computer if it showed available in the store. The first employee told me that I needed to look again, and the second person I asked told me to order it online. Ill stick with Lowes.

Pretty much the same as every HD you visit. Good selection except they seem to be low on pressure treated lumber currently. Store could use a cleaning but the service was good and our cashier was super nice.
Don’t use curbside unless you’re willing to wait 30 min only for you to go inside and pick up the item anyway because they never came out..
Obviously in need of new and better management! if I must go to Home Depot I would bypass the one in Fayetteville which is in my neighborhood and go to the onein Jonesboro! Im giving the Jonesboro Home Depot five stars!

They dont pick up the phone, when they do they have a chip on their shoulder and customer service is TOTALLY gone!! I just called in to talk to a manager about an issue he (Jason) was suppose to resolve. He ended up screwing up the problem even more and then refused to take my call when I asked to speak with him. Talk about Manning up this guy will avoid taking responsibility at all cost! Instead they front desk ladies put the phone down for 55 minutes (right next to them-I could hear them making returns the whole time) and yelling into the phone, they refused to pick it up. I guess thats the way they handle problems! They cause them and then they dont want to fix them. Sell your HD shares! This company is going to pot!

Won’t go back. My 82 year old father was mistreated today due to a hearing disability. Not one apology from either of the 2 employees. I’ve been on hold for over 30 minutes to talk to the store manager.
Did an order on line, pick up at store since local HD did not have what I needed. Waited for email to tell me to pick up. Finally called store and got runaround about how busy they were. Lady said give her 30 minutes. Gave then an hour. waited in line for 20 minutes. Told it had not been pulled but she would go have someone do it. 20 minutes later here comes my door. She got someone to pull it. I asked if he could help put it in my truck. He mumbled something about not his job. She said she would get someone. I went to truck and waited about 15 minutes. No one showed up and another customer offered to help and I accepted.Busy. I understand but not doing things when you say you will and not helping an old man who asked for help is simply inexcusable.
I want to know how to file a complaint all the way up to the district manager. How do i find his email?

On Sunday 9/6 the associate Taylor (female) treated me horribly without even knowing my full needs. Taylor was not at all nice and she made assumptions. She bluntly discriminated against me when I wanted to conduct a return without receipt. She didnt attempt to assist me, she just brushed me off and told me she couldnt return any of my items without receipt based on a dollar value. She didnt take the time to look in the cart to see what i had. I go outside to get my husband which is of different nationality and he came in asking what changed or Why? Taylor whole attitude changes to pleasant towards my husband and she returned all but two items that was in my cart for him. As God as my witness and the cameras in the store, I was not in any kind of way unpleasant to the associate Taylor. At this point I asked for the manager, MOD was Michelle which didnt listen to anything I said to her and immediately responded to me that Home Depot has every right to refuse service to anyone. I told her as a customer service representative companies have the right to refuse if: customer is unpleasant, threatening returning merchandise that has been used, worn or damaged beyond recognition...I HAVENT DONE EITHER neither was anything used...which gave them no right and its discrimination based on how she treated me compared to my husband. Michelle response was that she would deal with it and the associate Taylor was new (which was a lie because Taylor stated shes been there a while and Ive seen her multiple time whenever my husband and i shop) all she can do is give me a store credit at this point, her exact words. I stated to Michelle because she didnt care to listen to understand anything i said i made it clear that I never made A big deal of getting cash i knew it would be store credit because i was clear I Didnt Have My Receipt! My Complaint is DISCRIMINATION. Yes I sent Complaint to cooperate...
