June was great. She was pleasant and super friendly. She got us in the Tiguan that we wanted and at a payment that was well within our budget. We even came in last minute and where some salespeople might have said comeback tomorrow they stayed late and June was there every step of the way. By the time we were done they weren’t able to clean the car up that night, but June was there to meet me first thing the next morning. Great service.

Valley VW service has a professional and friendly staff. Unfortunately, they up charge on parts to a ludicrous degree. Their service fees were a little high but in the ballpark. I brought my VW in for an A/C diagnostic. Valley VW called me within two hours with a diagnoses for my problem. In typical dealership fashion they recommended two additional services. I checked with my normal shop, BFI in Raleigh. BFI is great about noting things to watch but not pushing non essential work. Valley VW’s recommendations lined up so I asked them to go ahead and perform the services. A day later I got the quote from my normal shop and it would have saved me 1,000 dollars to wait and go to BFI instead. Valley VW up-charged for parts and labor, and as a nice little cherry on top, they damaged a part of the trim while completing the repair and failed to tell me. After I brought my vehicle back to ask what happened, the service department manager was kind enough to order a replacement part at no charge. On the upside the staff were all friendly and their building is well updated with a clean waiting area!Updated from one to three stars. The service manager followed up to ensure they communicated and everything was completed.

June did a great job for me from the buying process to delivery. She stayed in constant contact and worked hard to ensure when there was a hiccup I knew. Took our 2013 Beetle in for replacement of the air bag. This was on a Saturday morning and the main computer system was down and they couldnt perform the replacement. Mike, the service manager, was very apologetic and asked us to return on a different day and offered a perk for our trouble. Before we could get back in the battery died (8 year old battery, NEVER had one last that long). Called up the service department and asked if we could come in the next day late in the afternoon and they could replace the battery at the same time as the air bag replacement. They worked us in, replaced the battery with no charge for labor (perk) and replaced the air bag in about an hour. When we went to get in the car it had been washed!!! It had a MAJOR pollen problem, and is gray and the pollen looked awful (perk). Valley is TOPS! Great service, FRIENDLY, and accomodating. THANKS MIKE, you made our day!

Purchased a VW Tiguan, was treated very well throughout the purchase process, but once the sale was done, that was it. I had temp tag on the car, and never received my permanent plates by the expiration date. Prior to date of expiry, I called, spoke with my salesman (Ill withhold the name), and he assured me that NC DMV has a 2 week grace period after due to covid. I still didnt feel comfortable driving around with expired temp tags... so I went to my local NC DMV office and explained the situation and what my salesman said.. they said no... wrong. I was driving illegally with expired plates. There is no grace period due to covid. DMV said the plates looked like they were issued, but I have yet to get a call or an email response back from the dealer. I sent my email to 3 persons at Valley VW, no one responded. I ended up re-registering my car at the DMV, paying for a new plate at that moment so I wouldnt be breaking the law. I should go to the dealer and ask to be reimbursed, but Im not making a separate trip for $21. Sad to say, I thought the VW buying experience went well... until they get your money and deliver the car.. then crickets. To note, I was to buy a BMW there last year, and that was the worst BMW dealer Ive been to, ended up buying my BMW up at Hendrick in Durham/Southpoint...way more professional, what a BMW dealer experience should be. Avoid the BMW at Valley Auto... and just use caution at the VW side. They were nice and the purchase process wasnt bad.. but felt like I was given a line to keep me quiet about the temp tag...and then no response after to my documented inquiry.

The one star is for the decent customer service I have received from Jim and Mike in the service department.I have been a customer at Valley Volkswagen since 2014, when I leased my 14 Passat. At the time I was expecting my first child and drove a 08 Mustang, so I needed a family car. Once the lease ended, I purchased the car and paid off the loan.I kept an excellent service record throughout the duration of the lease even until this day and my car has only been serviced at Valley......that is until their service technicians couldnt figure out why my check engine light continued to illuminate after they fixed it 3 times. The last time they fixed it, which also included an oil change service, they conveniently forgot to add oil and guess what happened.......Well my car began to shake, rattle and roll. Lol, its funny now, but it wasnt funny when I was driving. So I took my care back in to Valley and they proceeded to tell me that there wasnt an oil leak, but that the oil had evaporated.Now, Im no auto mechanic, but I am also not Boo Boo the Fool. They knew they had messed up big time and gave me a really nice discount, but the discount means nothing if my engine is forever jacked up due to the poor work or lack of work completed by their skilled technicians.Needless to say, I will no longer take my car to Valley. They lost a good customer.

We recently purchased a 2021 VW Atlas from this dealership and I have to say it was one of the best experiences we’ve EVER had!! Xochitl made the entire process easy and streamline. We were just casually looking one day and met her at the dealership. We explained our needs, wants and targeted price point. We also had a trade in that we needed to have looked at. We returned the next day with our trade, she already had the car we were interested in fully detailed and waiting when we arrived. We agreed on a price, they gave us a fair deal for our trade and 1.5 hours later we were out the door. Communication was great and never felt pressured!! 10 out of 10 experience. This is our first VW purchase and we will definitely be back again.

We had to drive a long way to get here. We were dreading doing business over the phone and get disappointed with either the car not being in the condition described or the dealership pulling some sort of trick. Those fears never came to fruition. Instead, we were pleasantly surprised on how well we were treated. Lawrence Brown was our salesman and he was fantastic. For example, it was a hot day and we needed some cold water. Here he comes with them as if he read my mind. He was an absolute gentleman. The car was certainly as good as described and just detailed. After giving us a good deal, they were efficient with the paperwork. The car was just filled up with gas so it made our trip home easier. We dont normally have good things to say about dealerships but they were an exception. It was a long drive and they certainly made it worth it, especially Lawrence. I wouldnt hesitate to do business with them again. Thank you!

The worst customer service. They were extremely great at communication when they were trying to get the sale, but now that it’s complete, they could care less. I have been trying to get in contact with them about a new vehicle I just purchased and no one seems to be able to get back to me, not even their manager. The sales rep I worked with, Jeremy, actually lied to me about why he was unable to get back with me. Needless to say, we will never use them for our service needs or new car needs, and will not recommend them to anyone.

Stopped by on my way to Florida from NY after realizing my car had been leaking a lot of oil. We called ahead to see if they would be able to take a look and they were able to squeeze me in at 5:15, even though most of the mechanic staff leaves at 5. They were able to fix the problem quickly and send me on my way! I have never experienced such amazing service from a VW dealership before! Everyone was super friendly and courteous, even though they could have just told me to come back another day. Jim and Rick were just about the nicest people I’ve ever come across, and really saved me from having big problems on the rest of my drive. If I didn’t live so far away, I would come back every time for service! I even had my dog with me and they showed me where I could let her stretch her legs as well as let me bring her into the service area (which you never see anymore). I would definitely recommend them to everyone!

I had an appointment to look at a used vehicle on their Fayetteville North Carolina lot. I had emailed, text and actually spoken to the salesman a few times through out the day. We had a 5:30 appointment so my wife and I took off work early to drive there ( One hour and 20 minute drive ). We were about 9 minutes away from the dealership and on time when we received a call saying the car had been sold. Is that really how they like to do business? I was placed in a nice car that I love and wasn’t pressured at all by my initial salesman so that was awesome. But I notice some changes with the price of my car on the contract verses the paper they gave me the night before. Out of ignorance I thought the price of the car minus the interest would be the same but they jacked it up a thousand dollars. Then I was told I would get a free detail if I referred someone and all was done was an outside wash no indoor wipe down and they said the vacuum caught fire.... the detail on the outside was due for having minor scratches from taking the plastic off the car I assume . I’m writing strictly about the establishments vehicle maintenance/repair services.Pros:The repairs and maintenance are applied very well in my opinion. I say this because I have never had to come in twice for the same maintenance or repair, so I believe I can confidently assume that maintenance and repairs are applied skillfully and competently. The service team (greeters) are very friendly and accommodating when there is an appointment or very minor maintenance task (light bulb, oil change, tire rotation).Cons:Repairs and even maintenance take a VERY long time to complete. Even something as simple as an oil change takes longer than two hours (and this is an appointment scheduled at 8:30 in the morning). More than once I’ve had to a wait hours for oil changes even as much as four hours on one occasion. And again, these are scheduled appointments. It’s surprising because I could go over to Walmart and have the oil changed in 30 minutes or less.Overall, this dealer is acceptable. Don’t expect anyone to go above and beyond unless you’re looking to buy a vehicle. Lastly, drop your vehicle off and enjoy a meal or movie if you are coming in for repairs/maintenance because you will be waiting.

Jim in the service department went above and beyond the call of duty to help us out. BP gas stations all have green handles, so naturally it happens from time to time that someone will put gas into a diesel vehicle. We did, oops. Realizing it before we started the engine, we called Jim and he promised to take care of it. We got our 2013 TDI Beetle towed, and Jim had it flushed and ready to go by morning the next day! We were back on the road, making sure to avoid BP at all costs! Jim is amazing - thank you Sir!

The staff is kind, polite and flexible with time/requirements. Diligently worked with me due to my varying hours of work. Provided an honest assessment, and rendered the requested services. The work completed on the vehicle was great, the only comment I have is ensuring the hood is properly closed prior to providing the vehicle back to the customer. The sensor did not note the hood was not properly closed until I was on the highway and a thud occurred. Of course this startled me and I noted the hood latch light at this point was illuminated. Minor issue, however, I should have conducted a thorough review of the vehicle prior to departure. Time constraints restricted this; however, I still stress the importance of both customer and service provider review. Regardless, a very good facility to work with.

Would not even give one star. Back in February me and my husband came in and purchased a car from Tim along with the trade-in. Tim had told us that a title was coming with the car and that it would just go straight to the bank that we were financing through. A few weeks after purchasing the car we got a letter from our bank saying they had yet to receive a title and so our interest rate was going to go up unless it was turned in. So we called him back and he said that there was an issue with the title and so for almost two months we spent between a rental car and speaking with the title clerk trying to figure out exactly where this title was, to find out that they didnt even have it when the car was sold. Now here we are almost 9 months later and we got a letter from the DOT saying that the car that we had traded and had been abandoned at a repair shop back in August. So we called the repair shop and they said that even though were not the ones who signed the paperwork agreeing to the work that our name was on the title and so we should be expecting court fees in the mail for having an abandoned car there. So a week ago we called the dealership to find out why exactly they sold a car with our name on the title. Tim didnt know the answer and so he sent us to Carla in finances and she said whatever happened with the title outside of the dealership was not her concern. So then I finally got ahold of David C. And he said that he would have the manager call us as soon as he knew what was going on. And that was a week ago and I still havent heard anything back. So I called again today to find out what exactly was going on and what was being done to finally talk to a sales manager. And he was saying that if the car had been sold with our name on the title then it was done completely illegally and now were just waiting to hear back. This is absolutely ridiculous and if we could just return the car we would absolutely do it. Definitely do not recommend buying from here. Already on the phone with Jag and Better Business Bureau.

I just bought a 2019 Atlas from a great sales representative. When we got to financing (I actually had my own) I was told they had a better rate. We told the finance guy SEVERAL times we did NOT want any warranties other than the 6 year 72,000 mile warranty it comes with. After 4 hours in there we were ready to go. I questioned the finance guy on the price because it was over $3,000 more than the sales guy told me. He stated when financing, they just move numbers around. Come to find out he added a $3,280 warranty to our loan. I have called to see what they will do because he flat out lied to us. We were coerced into the warranty through lies. If they do not fix it we will go above their heads.Update: They have corrected the issue and stayed true to their word so far.

I just to take a moment to recognize the hard work and dedication of Michael Lebatard (Mike) and his team. Earlier this week my vehicle started having some issues, to the point that I will be driving and it would shut down on me. I called Volkswagen Service and let them know what was going on and told them I did not feel my car was safe to drive in those conditions. I scheduled a diagnostic test for the same day. Mr. Mike called me once the diagnostic test was performed and told me what the issue was and how to fix it. Unfortunately, at this time I could not afford to have it fixed in their shop, so I asked if I could have the name of the parts so I could purchase them and have someone put them in for me. Mike did just that, he got me all the information necessary for me to be able to take care of my issues; he went out of his way and coordinated with the parts department, so I would not have any problems getting the parts and gave me some useful advice. Moreover, he extended the invitation to come back if I could not find anyone to put the parts in the car for me. Mr. Mikes customer service was outstanding, he was patient, he met my needs as a customer and ensured that I receive the proper information so I could make an educated decision. Thank you Mike!!!!

Was lured in with out the door pricing better than dealers in Wilmington were offering. Stated price is not a problem, they want my business. Completely low-balled me on my trade and after resistance from me on the price I would accept for it, floor manager told me to go to CarMax and see how much theyd give me for it. I walked, next day, they call we have new numbers for you, turns out they just upped the price on the Atlas and upped the price on my trade in, made it look like I was getting a deal. Stated they moved numbers, all to their benefit. Was disgusted and will never conduct business with them.

Had my vehicle towed with a leaking sunroof, mildew odor and electrical issues from water getting into the vehicle December 2019. After a failed buyback I arrived at the dealership in February to retrieve my vehicle that was supposed to have had new carpet, new headliner and the sunroof leak fixed only to find a vehicle that had a powder substance spread throughout the entire vehicle. After getting the vehicle home I instantly smelled mildew, realized there were still water stains on the headliner, the carpet had not been replaced and the following week when it rained water started running into the vehicle. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone

Waited a few days for parts, come back, and they still couldn’t get it done. Couldn’t leave it over night again as I was going out of town. These peaple should be locked up for stealing. Took my Volkswagen there to have the throttle body repaired, shortly after I got the car back the car was doing the exact same thing prior to them replacing the throttle body. When I took the car back with hesitation because of the things that were told about this dealership, they gave me a quote of over $4,000 of things that needed to be repaired on my car. They told me that I had an upper and lower timing chain oil leak I was leaking antifreeze from a head gasket, ball joints were shot and I need a new wiper blades. Got the car home looking for the oil leak discovered that my oil filter was loosened up and was leaking oil down the side of the engine. I tighten that and it fix the problem. The antifreeze leak is from the return on the radiator. The quick-release clamp has a slow drip in it. All joints are good and a wiper blades were fixed with a little soap and water and were good as new. Took the car to a do an export auto shop they checked out the car and said the car is perfectly sound and theres nothing wrong with it whatsoever. They told me they did a full diagnostic on a computer but yet when they showed me the diagnostic it was all handwritten nothing was a print out from the computer. When I confronted them about their prices in their BS about messing with my car, they said they are family owned business and would never do that. My response then was so is the mafia. If you want to get ripped off definitely take your car to this place.

Was supposed to have worked with Carlos, who proved to be very unprofessional, however when we showed for our appointment he had double booked himself and shoved us onto Jeremy, whom also proved to be unprofessional and inconsiderate of our time, not communicating the amount of time it would take for us to get into the finance department however, Bert in finance was FANTASTIC. Next time I buy a VW I will be going to Raleigh, maybe even Charlotte, but never to valley auto world in Fayetteville.

Service department tried to pull all the typical scams. Went in for a $70 oil change and they start trying to upsell us on transmission flushes, windshield wipers, air filters, and branke system flushes. They wanted to turn our simple oil change into a $600 bill.They did a fine job on the oil, but tread with caution they will try to convince you that you need a bunch of unnecessary services. Totally unethical. Little do they know I have experience as a diesel mechanic.

I know my car was dirty when it came in(I live on a dirt road and weve had over 32 inches of rain in 4 weeks) and the car was dirty front and back when I got it back and I was told they were going to vacuum it out, but didnt. All n all good job.

Stop by Valley Auto Worlds pre-owned car lot and talk with Jim Wallace. He took great care of us when we purchased a 2010 Jeep Commander there a couple of weeks ago. They worked a great deal for me with the trade of my Infiniti G35X without they typical pressure sales that you get at other dealerships. I even took the Jeep over to a competitors mechanic to have them inspect and check out the car before I purchased it. Since the purchase, Jim has been in touch several times to make sure everything is good. Thanks.
