2011 Hyundai Sonata was brought in for a Clock Spring warranty part that controls steering wheel functions and steering wheel airbag. Air Bag light was on after service and I was told Air Bag shows low voltage and a replacement would cost 1250.00... Took to another shop and found out previous tech didnt fully depress the compression clip causing air bag light to come on, and didnt take the time to route the wire harness into its proper location clip. All good now!

I initially reached out to Hyundai of Fayetteville via their website and was contacted by Andy.I explained that I had just moved to the state and was on a limited budget. Andy answered all of my questions and organized to come in on his day off to meet with me.Andy showed me exactly what I was looking for and I bought my adorable little Accent that day.Everybody at Crain was kind and considerate, and made me feel very welcome to Arkansas as a new resident! When I am ready to upgrade, I will definitely go to Crain!! BUYER BEWARE!!! I called to buy a Santa Fe for the total price advertised online for $37,245. The salesman proceeded to explain that the reason they wouldn’t accept anything less than $41,000 was that stock was limited and they had no problem selling vehicles. I gave this company 1 total star and I truly feel like that is 2 more than this company deserves. Price gouging is the core value of Crain and that seems to be their sole commitment. I’m attaching the picture from their website too. I understand that we live in a difficult time and people and companies are having to find ways to make ends meet but this is an absolute disgusting excuse for customer service.

If I could give them 0 stars, I easily would. The 1 star goes to the seller (cant remember his name) that bought my daughter Cheetos.I was basically held hostage by these people while my 1 y/o threw fits and was very obviously ready to go home. They took my car key early in the visit to have a look at my car and determine its trade-in value. After that, I literally had to ask permission to get my car unlocked because they wouldnt give my key back. We were there for over 2 hours and I never got any numbers put in front of me. A bunch of empty I think I can do this-s later, I was ready to go home and so was my little. When I asked the salesman that was helping me to give me my key back so that we could leave, asking for them to just give me a call if they figure out a way to help me, he went to tell the sales manager who came and gave me one last give me 5 minutes to see if I can do this for ya and I obliged, STILL WITHOUT MY KEY. 20 Minutes later my daughter and I got up, walked to their office, and took the key so we could leave. No apology, no update on what they were doing for TWO hours, just a sad key handoff and a Well have to call you (never received a call). I have never had anyone hold my key and literally not let me leave unless I got rude with them, this was ridiculous.I absolutely LOVE Crain Kia in Fayetteville and all of the people there, but Crain Hyundai needs a refresher on their ethics. I will never return and do not recommend anyone wasting their time here.

The entire staff is friendly. They listen to the customer as to what we were looking for in a car. The salesman knows the inventory and the ins and outs of all the stock. They helped us to get in the size car we are comfortable in. We are more comfortable in this 2021 Hyundai Elantra than any other car we have ever purchased. They got us in the payment range we were needing to fit our budget. This was the quickest car purchase we have ever made. Most dealerships will have you sit around the store waiting. We will definitely be a repeat customer and refer other people to them.

This dealership is a absolute joke, mainly the service departmentI have a 2020 genesis g70 that they have worked on multiple times. Day one buying car has huge gouge in back seat 3 months I asked to get it fixed still a year later remains in my seat. Follow that with them cross threading my oil filer housing lid, causing to drench everything in oil. Next the rear main oil leak they found 1 week turned into almost a month. While doing so damage almost every rim because they didnt take the time to use a protective socket. Lastly taking my car through their terrible car wash 5 times after asking them not to. Everytime they do I have to get my car buffed do to scratches but they never want to pay for issues caused. I do mo recommend this service center!

I bought a used vehicle a few months ago. The vehicle I bought had a couple problems come up. Paul and Drew were extremely helpful and did everything they could to make sure everything was taken care of. Paul is straightforward which is something you do not always find in a salesman. Drew will not let you buy anything you are unhappy with and will be sure to find what you want. After all my complaining, they may hate seeing me come back but I do plan on being there in a few years for a new car. Drew and Paul are the best!

I have had less than stellar experiences at Crain Hyundai and would recommend visiting other dealerships before purchasing a Crain vehicle. During the purchasing process, my salesperson knew absolutely nothing about my hybrid car, or hybrid cars in general. If I hadn’t done extensive research on my car or hybrids in general, I would not have purchased the car based on my experience in sales. During the financing portion, the associate word for word told me “you should call your dad and make sure you’re making the right choices”. As an accounting grad and IT professional, I found this to be exceptionally sexist and rude. When I came in for my first service (which I was told was covered free for my lease and required), I waited an hour and a half for an oil change (and charged for an hour and a half of service) while the associates loudly goofed off. I was the only person waiting on service at the time. The service wasn’t covered by my lease agreement as I was told, and I was overcharged for a basic oil change. Take your time and money to a non-Crain dealership. I have recommended this advice to my network in NWA.

As went well except for one potential future problem. I have 2 2020 Elantras. The first oil change was performed quickly and with no charge as indicated inb the Hyundai HCM policy (oil changes free for the first 36,000 miles or 3 years).I have a second 202 Elantra purchase on 1/6/2021 with 3,200 miles and planned on bringing it in for the first oil change in about 4 months. I checked with the service manage and my salesman. They said it was NOT eligible for the HCM free oil change policy. After looking up the vehicle history they discovered that the car was a loaner (even though it had fewer than 40 miles on it and had never been used as a loaner). They claimjed to have NOT known about this when they sold the car to me. Of course, I assumed it was a new car and as they had promised at the time of the sale, would be eligible for free oil changes up to 36.000 miles. They apologized but said that even though it was their mistake, they could not provide more than the first oil change for free. After thinking this over, I was upset and even though I probably would have purchased the car if told the truth, I feel that this is not fair and just.

Update 2/3/2021. Almost 1 month has passed since my review. After posting my review, my salesperson requested a picture of my vehicle registration stating that “something had been worked out” in regards to my tag reimbursement. Pictures of my registration were sent immediately. To this date, I received the initial $225 as previously financed, but have not received any other funds, including the additional $275 as offered by the general manager in the reply to my previous review. I have purchased several new vehicles. When I purchased my first car from Crain Hyundai in July 2020, I was elated. I felt customer service, finance and management were honest, compassionate, and forthcoming. To say I feel let down is an understatement. I know I’m just one person and they are a large corporation, so I don’t matter in the large scheme of things, but it hurt. I will continue to go for my service and maintenance on my car, but I would caution anyone buying a vehicle from them.

Bought a brand new 2020 Kona in March of this year, started noticing a weird noise in the engine in May. Asked the service department to check it while I was there for a routine oil change, not even 30 minutes later was told I was ready to go, the problem in my engine was that I “bought bad gas and should buy premium gas to resolve the problem.” I did. It did nothing. Engine sounds awful. Make an appointment to have them check it, an hour later get told my car is burning oil / consuming too much oil. I did an oil consumption test, was approved for an engine around the beginning/middle of September. It is now mid December and I still have not received a new engine, don’t even have an ETA for this new engine that has supposedly been ordered. Have went from being told “we will have the engine in two weeks” to “we never got the engine”. I called tonight to check on the ETA and was told, by Zach in the service department, that they still do not have an ETA on my new engine. I was then told that if I called Hyundai Consumer Affairs that it might speed up the process because “an angry customer” gets stuff done quicker. I was then told that “you catch more flies with honey” and to not be too rude when calling customer affairs. I feel as if I have been more than patient. My family and I have been a Hyundai driver for over 10 years and have never had this many issues.I voiced my concerns about my safety when driving a car that could blow up and leave me stranded on the side of the road and was told that “roadside assistance would come get me” and that that’s the best they could do. Customer affairs told me that I should be in a loaner and my Kona in the shop due to safety concern!!!I have dealt with Zach through this entire process. This issue has been unresolved for so long that I call and ask for Zach and he knows me by first name. Last time I went in to have my oil topped off, which is almost a weekly basis because of how quickly my car is burning through it, I was greeted in a lighthearted, joking manner because I’m in there so frequently for service. I do not find it funny that it’s been almost 9 months since I noticed the problem and it’s still not been fixed. My complaint is with Crain and not with Hyundai as I got many questions and concerns taken care of on the phone with customer affairs tonight. Will never buy another vehicle from Crain Hyundai. EVER.

Do NOT buy a car from Crain Hyundai of Fayetteville. I’m not normally one to leave reviews, but this business deserved a special mention.I purchased a 2020 Sonata SEL Plus in June of 2020, and I took the car in for a service appointment on November 24th. Before my visit, I made it extremely clear I did NOT want my car to go through their automatic car wash. During the visit the dealer managed to wreck my car while pulling into the car wash against my wishes, causing roughly $3,000 in damage. The dealer offered to make things right or get me set up in a new car the next day. However, this would cost me almost $9,000 for this trade. They told me they would fix my car and pay to have my paint corrected (again) and have my car ceramic coated (again). (My car was polished and coated less than a month before this service.)I became angry and called corporate to inform them of what happened, and when the dealer got wind of this they took my rental car away from me. They refused to let me get my car fixed by a shop I trust or give me my car back in general. They straight to my face denied my request to get my car back. (Just in case Crain was to deny this, I have all the conversations recorded.) Several weeks went by and I heard nothing, and then I got a notification that my car had been turned on and several doors were open. I decided to track the location of my car and found out it was at the Crain dealership location in Springdale. I drove to Springdale to check what was happening to my car, and found out they were repairing it (after I told them not to touch it).I got a call on December 18th that I could pick up my car. It was raining, so when I got home, I washed it off and pulled it in the garage to look it over. The car was disgusting, misaligned body panels, missing trim pieces, missing weather stripping, a TON of overspray, scratches, small dings, an absolute disgrace of a repair. So, I went to Crain Hyundai of Fayetteville and told them about the absolute disaster my brand-new car was, and that I was taking it to a shop to have it fixed right, and they would pay the bill. They refused and sent me back to the body shop 3 times, each time still as awful. I tried asking one of the managers to just pay me to get my paint corrected and my ceramic coating fixed ($1,300). He declined because it was “too expensive” and my car didn’t need to have the paint corrected, as their body shop did an “amazing job”.After a few weeks now of trying to reach this manager over the phone, leaving multiple messages with no return call, I’m assuming they have no intention to repair my car to how it was before they forgot how to drive through a garage door. I feel like people who are looking at a Hyundai should see this and know their service before/during the purchase is great, but they don’t care about you after you sign that dotted line. I will NEVER buy a car from any Crain dealership again.

Since this I have been contacted by a very knowledgeable and helpful service manager and at this time my concerns are being addressed. I was very happy with that communication.Do not waste your time or money with this dealership. We purchased a 2015 Sonata brand new. While doing the paperwork with the finance manager he sold us the platinum extended warranty. I asked what it covered. He looked me right in the eye and said ‘anything inside and out, bumper to bumper, top to bottom’ and even went so far as to give us examples including sensors, electronics, air bags and screens. We agreed and purchased. Fast forward to 2020. Our car is now part of a class action lawsuit and likely needs an engine swap. Further more the air bag light keeps coming on and off. First time we took it to Bentonville they couldn’t find a problem and reset it. Came back on the very same day. Just had it back in there for a few problems and the air bag is one of them. They finally told us that it’s a sensor BUT because it’s in the seat and the warranty doesn’t cover the seats they won’t fix it. So a car that already has lawsuits for bad motors and they also won’t fix a SAFETY ISSUE with an air bag. That’s like saying “we know you purchased this brand new flooring and there is a problem with a section but we have to come through your door to get to it and your door isn’t covered.” By the way, we now have to bring it back in to them every 1,000 miles for a total of 5,000 miles because it likely needs a new engine but they have to check the oil consumption at those intervals first. Meanwhile I’m driving around in a vehicle with an air bag issue that they refuse to fix under the highest level extended warranty you can buy because it’s in the seat and the warranty doesn’t cover the cloth. Won’t ever spend another dime at any of their lots and will make sure everyone I know hears about this. I have called and left two voicemails at the Fayetteville location to talk to someone about the warranty they sold me and have yet to get a return call. If I have to get legal representation I will because a safety issue on a car from a company that claims to make some of the “safest cars on the road” and sells me a warranty that won’t fix said safety issue is a joke.

Crain deleted my Facebook review on their page. But they cant delete this one.First off, our sales manager told us the 2020 Palisade had BlueLink and SiriusXM. We didnt double check while test driving because who would think that would be something wed have to doublecheck?? On the way home, we couldnt find it. Called him and he was shocked - he swore it had it. The next day he apologized and offered to pay for 1 year of SiriusXM on our phone. He came through.Second, because we bought it on Labor Day, we didnt have the exact payoff on our trade-in. They said thats OK, give us a guestimate. We did, and we were about $250 too high. When we went to sign the papers and discovered that via our online statement, they said no problem - youll get a refund. Nearly a month later, we havent seen a refund. When we called them, Rick, the customer satisfaction manager, acted like he didnt understand what we were saying and that we shouldnt have been told that by their finance people. Rick couldnt tell us how to find out where the refund would come from. We finally called the bank that held the loan and they told us.Third, its been 25 days and we have not received any paperwork to tag our car. And since tomorrow is the weekend, we actually would have 3 days left to get the paperwork and get tags, etc. We called Rick, again, and he said that Corporate still hasnt received the title from the bank, as of 10 days ago. No other update since then. We told Rick we need to tag the car - were going out of town for a few days. Rick said he would check with Corporate but hed have to email them - theyre not allowed to call Corporate. Couple hours later, we talked to Rick again and it would be a while on the title because of the pandemic (??). He said he could give us temp tags for another 30 days. We went by and picked it up and headed to the DMV to at least assess and pay the sales tax. While were there, the DMV tells us we could give a letter that would help us get tags while we waited on the title. Called Rick and he said hed work on it. We ended up calling Corporate (yes, Rick - you can call Corporate). They told us they could get us a letter. Rick called back and was not happy that we called Corporate. Was very rude and essentially hung up on us. But we were able to go by the dealership AGAIN to pick up the letter Rick didnt know existed so we could get our tags done before they expired. The sales manager was super nice and did all he could to fix what he let slide. But this Rick guy is not a good look for Crain. If we hadnt been the ones asking where things were, wed just be either driving with expired tags or not driving the car at all. Pass on this place until they get better management and processes. Maybe just pass in general, if you can.

Cant give Crain Hyundai enough praise. Keith in Service is the greatest. Receptionist always has a smile and of course, the Salesmen always are so kind and knowledgeable---just in case they can make a sale. But never any high pressure.

No one would answer the phone..... finally got a manager and asked a few questions about a GMC truck. He said was was very busy and would call me back in one hour, 6 hours later and no call. Tried several times to call them after waiting but no answer!! I give.... heading to the autopark to look at a truck there!!!

We have bought 2 vehicles here and really love this place. Ben Milford is one of the best salesman. I found him to be honest and genuine. The place is always immaculate and we get all our oil changes and car washes here as well. Only con is the oil changes usually take around an hour and half. Other than that great.

I couldnt have better things to say about this place. I actually bought an awesome Hyundai Sonata and I live in ATLANTA. The staff at Crain was super responsive and helpful in getting the car to me in Atlanta. On top of that they took my trade in from here as well. If you deal with the team here professionally they will reciprocate with incredible service and value. Thank you again.

My credit was ran 11 times by this company!!! Hard inquiries and than not approved. They were also hard to work with being people taking off and different people calling and texting me constantly. It started feeling like a circus or someone taking me on a merry-go-round, lol! I felt so frustrated. One person to work with is better than three or four- forgot the number. It also strung out of about a week or two about one car. I got tired and went somewhere else. The experience was actually kind of strange.I was approved easily at Adventure Subaru that ran my credit only 2 times and thats more like it! I also had one salesperson that worked hard and got the job done! Adventure Subaru first for now on was like a breathe of fresh air for me.

Crain did not do right by my daughter. They knew her budget but still showed her a car that I believe they knew she couldn’t afford but said they would make it at the payments she needed. She took it home and they made her believe that everything was working out exactly as planned all the way until she sat down at the desk to go over the paperwork. All of a sudden the payments went up $60 more a month more than she could afford and none of the deals that were discussed were in the final deal, including paying the sales tax. They proceeded to make her feel worse by talking down to her and acting like the $60 extra a month should be not be a big deal. I want to point out that they knew everything upfront, credit score, payments needed, and everything. She didn’t pick that car the SALES GUY did, saying this was the car (which she loved) that fit her budget and they could make this happen for her. I even asked several times what the final price was on the car and neither the sales guy or the manager would tell me!! Who does that?!! They were hiding that from us through the entire process as they proceeded to make her feel bad that she couldn’t afford it. This is not how a car company should do business. We were very upfront with everything but they weren’t. When the process started they said they needed the sale to make their monthly goal but before the deal went through they said a lot of people came in and bought some cars so I’m assuming that since their goal was met before her, they didn’t care as much now on hers because it all changed fast. Very disappointed. Would not recommend doing business with them. So proud of my daughter for knowing this deal was NOT in her best interest and walked away with more integrity than what she was shown. Avoid dealing with Crain. I would avoid dealing with any dealerships that have the Crain name on it.

Only came in for service to get a Crain warranty inspection. Very nice and respectful service department. Drive in for service has a automatic door and is inside. Very nice waiting area with computers, WiFi, tv, and free waters / coffee. Wish they had free drinks / cokes though. Waiting area is very large and was not busy at all like some other dealers. Driving out of service needs an automatic door as well or something though. I had to wait for a guy to open it manually. Signs on how to get out of their back lot could be better as well as it’s easy to get lost back there. But overall great experience and highly recommend. New cars look great, but did not interact with any salesmen as I’m not in the market for a new car right now.

I came to this car lot twice yesterday and both times was never greeted by a salesman, outside nor inside. I had purchased my daughters first vehcile from here and it was a terrible experience all around, from the salesman to the piece of junk that I was sold, we came yesterday to trade the vehicle in for something that didnt constantly break down right after the warranty ended. Obviously none of the salesmans here cared to make a sale.

There are so many wonderful things I have to say on this review. I dont usually write reviews unless I feel like it would be a crime not to. This dealership is just amazing. Its not like any dealership Ive ever been to. Everyone that works there is honest and loyal to each customer and every employee is just the sweetest (especially Daniel!) I dont know anything about cars so going into a dealership can be very stressful because most places just want to take advantage of you and sell whatever they can just to make their goal. This place is not one of those dealerships. They work with you and will explain everything to you in such perfect detail youll start to feel like a car expert! I felt very safe putting my car troubles into Daniels hands. I knew from the start he would take good care of me. I also really admired how connected the staff is. They work as a team and thats super important. It tells me that the most important thing to them is helping their customers and making sure they do absolutely everything they can to achieve the highest level of satisfaction everytime. I know I can trust this place. I will be back again and I just cant wait!!
