Had my wedding dress and my flower girls dress altered here…girls did a great job and worked with me with what little time I was able to give them, poor planning on my part, but they did wonderful and where very sweet and helpful to work with.

Ashley and her team did a fantastic job! I needed a blazer adjusted and Ashley walked me through the different ways it could be done and different design options, and it turned out just perfect and with some chic details :) She is so friendly and personable. I already dropped off a second piece and will definitely be bringing in more pieces from my closet! Why have cloths that mostly fit when you can have clothes that feel like they were made just for you? 🤷🏻‍♀️💛

I LOVE this place and its people. They are amazing to do business with. On a 5 star scale, if I had the option, I would probably give them a 12. They do all my tailoring and have helped me out in times where I got in a jam. For instance with a grandmother passing and my suit normally reserved for funerals no longer fit and I didnt have a lot of time to work with, yet they took care of me and did it with empathy, compassion and a reassuring smile from each one of them....and they work they did was fantastic. I truly cant say enough good things. As long as I am in this area, I will never go elsewhere.

Everyone here is absolutely fantastic! I was unable to fit into the wedding dress I bought. My dress was made from delicate lace and I was worried they would have to cut the dress,but they were able to modify the dress and it fit like the day I bought it! I was very happy with their work!

Excellent tailoring service with a friendly conversation and smile. They will tailor anything you want, not just formals! I felt out of place during my original fitting among all the pretty dresses, but they made sure I was comfortable and made sure I got exactly what I wanted. I had them alter short-alls, a full jumpsuit, and lab coat. They had my pieces finished within a week, which was faster than I imagined. I wore my altered clothes out because I was so happy with them! Prices are reasonable and in line with other local tailoring services.

Ashley and her team can do it all!! Ive known Ashley since she was my professor in college. This review is for ALL the work her and her team did for my wedding. She altered my gown, made me two custom dresses, my moms custom dress, altered all my bridesmaids dresses (even the ones that came in from out of town the day before the wedding (!!!!), and tailored my husbands suit and a couple groomsmen suits. They go above and beyond! Worth every penny! Ashley even came to my house the day of my wedding to steam and prep my dress, my bridesmaids dress and my moms dress! I didnt have a single worry the whole time knowing that Ashley had everything handled.

She is really nice and well organized, she works only by appointment. It may be a little bit pricey. I needed to come back a couple times to get my pants perfectly done, even though she told me at the beginning the alteration would be done in one week. At the end, Im really happy with the result, she did a great job.

I was extremely nervous about finding someone to alter my wedding dress because of the many nightmares I have heard from other brides about how terrible their experiences were. I heard about Material Concepts from a patient of mine that she had heard about through her sisters friend. So I thought I would check it out and give them a chance.Ashley was extremely sweet and nice. My first fitting was great, she explained how they do their altering and told me what needed to be done and gave me a quote and I decided to trust her. After several fittings I went to try it on for the last time and take it back home and it fit perfectly and looked great. She did a fantastic job, and I was extremely pleased. I was also extremely pleased with the price.My dress was a very delicate material and I had to have it bustled and the bustles were also very delicate. Halfway through my reception, one of the bustles broke or ripped and so half of my train was dragging the ground. I think this was more of an issue with my wedding dress material than Ashleys work. I only mention it to help with any changes that could be made in the future for another bride who might have a similar wedding dress. This issue did not effect me whatsoever during my reception and wasnt a big deal. I was extremely pleased with my alterations and I am so glad that I was able to find Material Concepts. I highly recommend them!!!!

Brought a jersey here that had a very small hole in it. They patched it with a shade of yellow that is not even close to the color of the jersey, and now the patch is 5x as noticeable as the original hole. Only giving it 2 stars because it was cheap
