Their open table is a makers dream. A great selection of beads and supplies with many unique and hard to find items. The addition of fair trade hand crafted items is great for those of us that appreciate the craftsmanship but cant make it ourselves. Although the great classes offered, certainly can teach you.
Every time I go there I feel inspired. The owner is very welcoming and she will help you with any special handmade project. They have great jewelry classes and a good selection of stones to choose from. A great place to enjoy you hobby and meet new people.
The first time I went into the place the people were just great! Both of the ladiesladies know their stuff. I dont think you can ask a question they cant answer. Just go and find out how great this place is.
The owner is too opinionated with every topic of discussion; Ive never met someone who was a subject matter expert on everything. She has very little experience on many things she speaks about (or relies heavily on others experiences as her own). Im fine with people having opinions but she doesnt respect anyone elses opinions and conversations during open knit night often get heated when people disagree or challenge her way of thinking. It got to the point where I was offended by some of the things she was saying. I struggled on and off for three years with the personality of this particular owner. She speaks her mind without considering consequences of her opinions and how others may view things differently. After a particularly hostile knit night (which got political even though they claim to be politics free zone), I promised myself never to go back. It isnt worth it to continue to support this business due to the constant negative behavior. The yarn selection is mediocre, but is the best in Fayetteville. Id rather make the drive to Cary or Southern Pines for a better customer experience.
Not sure if this place is actually open or not. Been by twice during the hours posted and both times windows are drawn and doors are locked and no sign is present.
NO YARN! Not much of anything but tubes of beads and some ready made clothing.
Great conversation.
