Very kind people working there. The man at the entrance/exit greeting, was very nice and immediately noticed I needed help finding something. He pointed me in the right direction and as I left he made sure I found everything I needed. Every person who worked there had a smile on their face, acknowledged and greeted me when I passed by. The store is very clean and extremely easy to navigate. Definitely a great example of how Home Depot should be.
I went in around 6pm to TRY to order several thousand dollars worth of garage doors. After several associates “called to find a mill works associate “, I was still left there no farther ahead than I was before. It’s incredible how short retail establishments are these days….but I did find 4 different associates sitting behind the pro works desk talking about the NFL draft for fantasy football. Sweet…
Give Rhonda a raise. She makes this store feel like what Home Depot used to be like. All the help none of the attitude. Solution oriented. Im only asking for her help from now on.
I love home depot but will never use the Fayetteville n.c. store ever again. You cant change delivery dates by a week and a half without notifying the contractor. Completely unprofessional.
I should of trusted my gut after reviewing the quote. It was written all wrong and everything I mentioned to the guy doing the measurements was left out of the quote. The individual who completed the measurements according to the installer didnt order the correct transitions nor did they tell me about the problems we would be facing removing the hardwood flooring we had in place. They are the experts I am not. The installers flew through the install and it looked sloppy. No different than what it would of looked if my husband and I did it ourselves. The only difference is it would of took us longer. I called the installer after the installation and was told new transitions would be ordered and they would come out and fix it but I have heard nothing since...its been a month. Home depot didnt follow up with me. Too many groups involved and non take responsibility for the mishaps, home depot are the supplier, romanoff are the installers, and the measuring guy just does the measuring. No one is responsible for the mishaps. It is better to go with a professional that does it all from the beginning to the end.
They have the usual stock of items needed for home and garden. Employees are friendly and helpful too
Just wanted to take a minute and thank Doug for his assistance the other night in finding a 3 prong dryer plug. I came in to the store close to closing and he was more than willing to assist me and walked me around until we could find it.I normally shop at Lowe’s sue to convince to my house. However, I was very surprised at just how nice your store is. Very clean and it flowed very well. May have to drive a little further in the future.
My husband shops at Home Depot all the time he is a subcontractor and usually if Lowes doesnt have it Home Depot does so he always goes there first they have a very helpful and friendly staff
Once again, Home Depot has shown what customer service should be…others could learn a lot from this Home Depot in particular. Niki in the garden center was multitasking like a champion, still kept a cheerful demeanor, listened to my dilemma and exhausted all avenues to find a solution…or so I thought. This woman, Niki, went above and beyond, stayed with our brainstorming and saved the day by thinking outside the box (no pun intended). She not only saved the day..she saved my husband’s Birthday!!! She did not give up, she did not say “we can’t help” she strode on and did not stop until my problem was completely resolved. Job WELL DONE. Niki! I want to thank her from the bottom of my heart for making my husband’s birthday a success after all!!!
I purchased two gallons of paint Friday night. I painted one gallon on Saturday and the whole day I just kept hoping it was color changing paint because it just wasn’t what I hoped for. I thought when it dried I might like it better? NOPE! The paint dried over night and early Sunday morning I returned to Home Depot expecting magic. I roll up to the paint desk with a pitiful face a color match item and a desperate attitude. The Color Pro working was a true expert! She was patient and knowledgeable. She took the time to attempt a color match using the gallon of paint I had not yet used. She did work magic! I am thankful for her and the care she took to expertly match paint for my needs. Thank You!!!! I plan to complete the Home Depot survey. She worked magic I hoped for so was not leaving Home Depot with gallons of unused and unwanted paint. I appreciate the color match and adjustment. It is employees like this that create Returning customers!

Working on a project, i needed led rope lights to finish the job i happened to run into Doug in the Lighting department great guy knowledgeable about the products in his dept we talked for a least 20 minutes about retail and product knowledge.. my kids likes him. Thank you Doug.
I’m very disappointed in Home Depot. My family and I have always given our business to Home Depot as opposed to Lowe’s. Last week my father who is over 60 and myself went to Home Depot to purchase 60 bags of mulch. The lady at lawn and garden who rang us up was awesome I wish I remembered her name. She’s the only reason I’m giving 2 stars. She called for help so we could get everything loaded into our vehicles. The lady that came to help us acted like she didn’t want to and had 2 other people come help. When they loaded 30 bags we started to get the other vehicle and they disappeared. My dad is elderly and I had just gotten surgery the week prior on my wrist and had a cast so I wasn’t much help. He had to load the other 30 by HIMSELF because I guess the employees were just too good to help. Needless to say I’m very disappointed.
Bernard Convington was ssoo helpful and courteous! He even took the time to help us load a grill into our car and brought us the heavy propane tank! Made it a very pleasant shopping experience!
I have talked to many employees over the weeks they need to go back to classes.How are garden tools said the power blowers and chainsaws didnt need oil in the gas mix. Hardware told me the black oxide drill bits were the best on the market. Electrical said I could use wire nuts and not bother with a box.
I keep telling myself That I Will NEVER go in a big box building supply again. Today was an example of why!! When to exchange a bathroom light (this is why this rating was a 3 star not 1) Lady that helped me was extremely friendly and professional. I went look for a lamp.. I had 3 options.I could not find any on the shelves...I waited and searched for some help ..I found someone in another department.. they promise to call..30 minutes no help..I left very disappointed and with no lamp in tow.. My whole experience was ruined..
I really like that home Depot allows you to create a list online and then text it to yourself from the checkout screen. I was able to come in look at the stuff that I needed and then move on with my day. Home Depot is hands down better than Lowes.
Home Depots new online in store item locator program ROCKS! I was able to find what I was looking for online at my local store. Then, the program told me how many were in stock, what isle number and what bin number in my local store. This is outstanding by saving time and money!
I asked an an employee to help me order a tub. I was told to go online to order it, because he would just do the same at the store. I did order it online and my tub was lost and could not be located. I sent about an hours on the phone in two different days to locate it. I finally was given a refund. I had the surround but not the tub. I ordered it again for curbside pick up, I still had to go inside to have the order released. Needless to say I don’t so here frequently; and this just reminds me not too.

You can get lost in this place--- its so big--- but you can get everything you need for your home and garden. Love it!
I was looking for a small upright freezer and found one on the Internet at Home Depot in Fayetteville, NC. I called and spoke to a wonderful young lady who told me that there was only one. She held it for me, and when I arrived about 20 minutes later, she had already put it on a cart with my name on the box. Thanks so much for going above and beyond for me.

Have visited here twice now & both times had terrible service. All the associates we interacted with did not care about their customers at all. We had multiple workers ignore us when we tried seeking help, with one not even acknowledging that we were talking to her. Others just refused to offer any assistance whatsoever, were rude, & seemed inconvenienced by a customer asking for them to do their job & assist them at all. Would not recommend going to this location at all.

Shaina in customer service here at the Fayetteville store is absolutely fabulous, providing amazing customer service, and super sweet and friendly as a bonus. Another lady in the store was not nearly as nice; Shaina turned this from a lousy situation to a very happy one, and rather than leaving upset, we left very happy with our H.D. purchase.
I purchased a LG Washer and Dryer on 5/24, it was delivered on 6/3 but was the wrong ones. So I went to the store and asked about my purchase. Come to find out it was back ordered until 7/1. Now I donated my washer and dryer to get ready for my new one and since it was not in stock, I asked for my money back. The young lady who was working in Appliances with Pablo told me good luck in finding another. Not we sorry maam but Good luck, I responded I dont need luck because Im blessed. Do know if you pay for what you want, then you should get what you want.

There were some issues and damage with our cabinets purchase. We had to come out to the Fayetteville store to pick up a cabinet that only they had. We were told someone at the store had pulled it and would have it ready but when we got there that was not the case and there was no one available in that area. We saw a young man named Dixon in flooring and he quickly took the initiative to help us while a few others didn’t by trying to try to look up our order, call the other store that sent us and help us pick what we needed even though he didn’t work in that area or have experience with it. Kudos to Dixon!

My wife and I ordered cabinets. Total nightmare. We always order from Lowes.We only get messages from H.D. deliver is delayed. Over and over. Finally on a Saturday at 1:30 we get a call. We will be there in a hour. We want them so bad we agree to postpone our schedule to receive the cabinets. They finally arrive at 3:00 and they will not put them in the house. It is going to rain. What do we do. The man said bad words to me. Foul words then left with the cabinets.I called Casey the mgr at the store. He apologized over and over. Promised to get back in touch with me. Never did. Finally I call Monday evening and get Cris again a mgr. With less guy.Do not buy from Home Depot if you want customer service. Horrible

Strange place to try a get assistance to buy something. Go on line to buy something and not in stock at your store. They wont ship to your store and if they will ship to your house, shipping cost are out of this world. other option to to drive 60 plus miles to another store. that doesnt work either. So much for being there for the customer.

Went into the Fayetteville store today and was purchasing decking material $1880 worth once paying for it I gave my military ID and was told that store does NOT offer military discount on building materials Because this store is in a military town and they would lose too much money giving discounts on everything . LOWES offers Military discount on building materials . I know my $1800 purchase wouldn’t really matter to a corporation like HD but I will definitely take my money to LOWES !!!

Last Night, 02/01/2021Manager: Kristin Hughes. Time: 6:00pmI came to this store to buy an electric drill, After I have picked one, I walked towards the cash out area where they have other electric drills (Milwaukee brand) ON SALE. I decided I wanted to switch out the one I had picked for the one I had seen which was a better deal.In order for me to attain the one that was on sale I needed some assistance!!, I waited over 1hr and asked multiple associates to see if someone had the magnet key to unlock the drill from the cardboard shelf.NOBODY AND I MEAN ABSOLUTELY NOBODY! knew where the associates from HARDWARE were located at, even after 1 hour of me standing asking for help, nobody could locate the magnet key to unlock a drill for me. I even heard someone had taken the magnet key home after lunch...I became so aggravated that something so simple was happening that I was FORCED to purchase a drill I did not want because nobody could find who had the key for unlock.

The monthly childrens workshops they do are great my Kids love to go and regularly ask if it is Home Depot Day the first weekend of every month.

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had anywhere. First, several associates ignored the fact I was standing in the section for doors and windows. Finally a associate helped to get someone, but he ignored me and never bothered to ask what I needed. Second, a woman, that I later was told was the manager, walked right past me and never asked me if I needed help. I finally asked her for help she called for an associate 3 times and no one showed. After 25 minutes of being ignored and not respected I went to the customer service desk to lodge a complaint. The representative was helpful and apologetic. She took my name and number and said the store manager would call. I havevyet to hear from the manager. I was there to order a door I saw online. I had the name, size, color, fixtures and MONEY to pay delivery and installation. VERY DISAPPOINTING. The associates were too busy with restocking and what they were doing to help customers. I am giving my money to Lowes

We went in to purchase accordion doors and the associates standing around to help people noticed us immediately. We were helped on the spot. The man and woman were both friendly to me and my husband. We visited Lowes first and were pretty much ignored. The Home Depot associate took us to the doors we were looking for without hesitation.
I ordered appliances in Sept and first available delivery was November. They were scheduled to arrive 1pm to 5pm but didnt show up until almost 8pm, then they didnt install my dishwasher even though it was part if the order and paid for. Had to reschedule dishwasher install for the following week. This time, they didnt call or show up at all. I called and was told to call back tomorrow to find out what happened. Do not buy appliances from Home Depot.

Lumber Liquidators got my business, flooring for my entire second floor. Lumber Liquidators were knowledgeble, professional, and saved us a lot of money!
WOW!!! Have not been in the store in a few years. Was impressed with the updates. Very well organized, stocked and clean. Doug in Electronics was AMAZING! Helped me find exactly what Best Buy did not have, an ethernet cord. Think I need to come visit Home Depot A LOT MORE OFTEN!
I usually dont have any issues with this store but that changed this week. I went in Tuesday afternoon and placed and paid for and order with Pro-Services. The gentleman working the counter was friendly and very helpful. Once my order was paid for, he said the associates would pull everything and the order would be ready for pickup at 11am the next morning. Well it rained all day the next day so my contractor went to pick it up Thursday morning. When he got there order was not pulled and he was told it would be at least 2 hrs before someone could start pulling it. Out of frustration he took the order sheet and began pulling the order himself. Once he called me I was able to get the store Manager on the phone and she said she would get someone on it right away. I understand that many places are understaffed now due to Covid but I would have appreciated a email or something to let me know thatvthey were having difficulties filling the order. I could have rescheduled the start of my job but as it turns out, I have a crew of guys at my house with no materials to work with. Going forward, communicate a little better with your customers so situations like this can be avoided. Thanks

This is a slightly older version of the store as it was one of the first built outside Georgia. You can find stuff yourself using the web or their app like every other big box store. I see a lot of people buying refrigerators and stoves but there is not a lot of staff elsewhere in the building as of early summer 2021. Store is always busy so they must have what you need.
Stay away from curbside pickup been here for almost an hour and not loaded yet. I guess patience is a virtue.

At times it is hard to beat home depot when it come to service, sometimes the run out of the products but are will willing to direct ship to you. One stop shopping same service as some lesser known hardware stores but the price simply the best and much more to choose from.
Nope. Nope. Nope.I went into the store for a few “Black Eyed Susan” plants. The two women working in the garden and lawn department never heard of the plant and don’t know what’s what.I asked for the manager. I was told the manager left and that the worker handling the HD moving machines would come over after that person finishes moving stuff.I’m going down the street to the NEW plant store on Raeford and Bunce Road. HD read between the lines. Take your business to a business that’s about business!!
