I have been going to them for my car care for over 15 years. They have always been honest with me about what I needed to have done and I have never felt I was overcharged. I trust them and the work they do. They care about their customers.

Ive been a customer since moving here 5yrs ago. Kevin is honest, know the business and dont overcharge or fix unnecessary things. Person of integrity and character you will not be disappointed.

I never write reviews but I HAVE to. I was referred to Smith Auto for an alignment when I got some new tires my A/C was also out and I was very long overdue to get it fixed (as I’d been quoted $600 for a new condenser at the dealership). So I set up an appointment to have my A/C looked at and get an alignment. Not only was my A/C fixed without me having to replace a very expensive condenser, BUT they also removed some paint from my bumper where I’d hit my garage door and took out a dent on my passenger side where I’d been t-boned (in one day, at that.) I’m more than satisfied and will bring my car here for any future repairs!

These folks are great! Thank you so much for helping me get my truck issues taken care of at a great price with all the chaos I had going on. It drove like a totally different vehicle when I left there today!

Smith Auto Truck: An honest place with no frills.Moving into south metro Atlanta, we found ourselves needing a shop for our aging vehicles. The places around us looked amazing (even featuring little pastries and K-cup varieties), but always concluded that expensive and comprehensive repairs were “needed.”So I asked around among old-timers and locals and learned that Smith Auto Truck was highly recommended. I don’t mind paying for repairs, I’m just tired of paying for unnecessary parts and repairs from a shop taking advantage of my ignorance.My first visit to Smith Auto for an alignment was revealing. It took most of the day (I had left my vehicle) and I was beginning to have doubts until I learned what they did: they soaked the parts for hours, heated them, and still couldn’t align my old northern vehicle to their standards so they discounted the already low price and informed me that I would have to eventually replace some parts for my next alignment. Bottom line: I left the shop with my car aligned, discounted price, and advance notice on what I needed to do in the future! Who cares about little pastries and K-cups when this is the service you get ~While I still don’t know the owner or workers, their local reputation as being trustworthy has been my experience - for me honesty is essential. We are glad to have found an auto mechanic that speaks truth, does good work, and partners with their customers. If you need a shop like that then I’d highly recommend Smith Auto - they take the drama out of car repairs.-Andrew

I recently needed service and someone recommended Smith Auto. I was in a predicament being from out of town and needing to get on the road. Thankfully they helped me in a very timely manner and at a very reasonable price. This would be my choice for repair work in Fayetteville.

I do most of my own basic auto work, but when I get too busy, or if its a problem too advanced for me, THIS is the place I go. These are some great people that will treat you honestly. I have a huge amount of respect for these guys and would recommend them to anyone

After taking my Tahoe to 3 repair shops to no avail, Smith Auto recommended by my Sister, totally found the issue and fixed it. It was a very tricky repair that required my vehicle to be torn down. Most shops would have walked away from something like this. But Kevin and his staff did not. Kevin called me and gave me my options and today, I am a happy camper!! Thanks for being there when I needed you. Smith Auto Repair is a class act!
