Though its not the prettiest place, Maple St Auto gave me a very honest, affordable, and professional experience when I went to get my brake pads replaced. The owner treated me like a close friend as he explained the problem to me in a way that was thorough and easy to understand. If youre looking for a place thats easy on the wallet, trustworthy, and run by a personable crew, I highly recommend this establishment. Best bang for your buck in town for sure!

I purchased a truck on the cheap which had been recently rear-ended. Because the driving was loose and it could not be controlled easily, it was highly suggested I bring it in somewhere immediately before registering. I read the reviews and figured Id take it in to Maple. Long story short, they told me it needed a major part (the big U-shaped metal piece behind the wheel) and would cost over $400. They also told me I needed a new transmission because it was leaking from the transfer case in back and would have to be completely replaced...at the cost of over $1000. Since I did not have the money I told them to make me a list so I could get work done as I could afford it. I paid for an oil change and the time it took for them to tell me what was (allegedly wrong). Since the steering was the main issue, I called on the part and it was WAY out of my pricerange. I paid $45 at the junkyard and called a roomates friend to put it in so I could at least drive it. He took one look after he disassembled and said the part was fine. I lost $45 because the junkyard wont take returns but the ACTUAL PART NEEDED was a $20 arm that had broken with impact, which took all of 20 minutes to complete. Upon further inspection, I was told that my transmission was fine, I just needed a new (less than a dollar) seal and to keep the fluids filled. AVOID THEM IF YOUR FEMALE OR MALE WITH NO KNOWLEDGE OF MECHANICS! Id have given them a negative rating if I could. SHAME ON YOU.

Good service at affordable rates. I have a serious problem with the owner who regularly smokes cigarettes inside his place of business. This is absolutely illegal, not to mention rude and disrespectful to his customers. He needs to be fined a few times to get his attention.

Rick and co were great help to me. They came out to my residence to help jump me and then too care of myproblem and got my car back to me quickly. Very friendly, very servicable people. Would absolutely recommend them and go to them again for auto repair. Theyre the best!
