They do not perform work to manufacturing specs. Brought my vehicle in to have control arms replaced. When I got the car back noticed the alignment was off. After noticing this I began to look under the vehicle and where the control arms were replaced. Immediately noticed the belly cover of the car was hanging and not screwed in properly. The brake wear sensor was dangling, the pinch bolt on the knuckle holding the upper control arms was overtorqued to the point it cracked the knuckle, and a washer was placed in the wrong location on the passenger side. Brought it back and was told everything would be corrected. They fixed all noticeable issues and replaced the spindle due to the knuckle being cracked. A few months go by and I start to notice a popping noise coming from the drivers side. At this point I did not want to bring it back to DK Hardee and went to Wagenhaus. When Wagenhaus inspected the vehicle for the popping noise they determined the driver side lower control arm that was replaced was actually a passenger side control arm and was making contact with the lower rear control arm. Brought it back to DK Hardee again and they acknowledged the wrong control arm was installed and informed me the incorrect part was sent from the supplier and they would correct the issue. While the car was there I asked if they could balance the tires to fix a small vibration I was noticing on the highway. They said they balanced the tires and told me they found a screw in one of the tires and put a plug in it for me. A few weeks later I was getting a leak from the plug they put in the tire. Decided to go to Discount tire to have them replace all tires with new ones as the leaking tire could not be repaired. Discount tire struggled to remove the lug bolts for the wheels because they were overtorqued from the previous shop (DK Hardee’s if they actually balanced the tires) by using an impact gun vs a torque bar like they should have. While trying to remove all lug bolts it ended up stripping a locking lug and the key key due to bolts being overtourqued. Now I will be bringing my car to the dealer in Cary to have them drill out the locking lug and inspect all work performed by DK Hardee. Lastly, each time I picked my car up from DK Hardee the vehicle settings were changed to dynamic mode (higher rpm shift changes, increased throttle response). I always keep my car in comfort mode. Seems suspicious since the car did not need to be placed in dynamic mode to test any of the work they performed. My guess is they were having fun on the test drive. Can’t prove it but wouldn’t surprise me at this point. I was very calm each time I had to go back and speak to Adam and he and the other employees were very professional. However, it is apparent that the work they did on my car was done with minimal attention to detail and in a hurry. If I could do it all over I would not bring my car to DK Hardee.

The best Auto Repair/Service shop in the city! They just fixed my car’s issue that was very complicated (AC). I have a 2005 BMW X3 and the AC has been blowing hot/cold air in the same time. Unfortunately, it is common issue of BMW regardless of models and years. They approached the issue with cheapest solution first (checking for leak), flap actuator, and heater control valve. Luckily, my case was by the heater control valve so that I didn’t need to worry about pulling out the whole dashboard. These guys are very professional, honest, and they truly committed to resolving your headache and saving your money. They carefully listened to my observations and opinion on the issue. The place is very clean so I enjoyed my time at the waiting room. If you have imported car after warranty, this place is one of the two options you have in the city based on my market research for months that I do as part of my job. Of course, they will do fantastic job for domestic brands. I didn’t get ripped off from here so you should be fine as well. I’m a Soldier currently stationed at Fort Bragg. I highly recommend this shop for any Soldiers around Bragg. I wish not many people know about this shop but DK is already popular as the average reviews here are showing.

My family has been using DK Hardee for many years. I will never go to a anyone else to fix our vehicles. Don’t go to them they are crooks! Brought my car in they did a diagnostics they said it was my fuel pump. Paid for replacement of fuel pump and within a week my car could not accelerate on the highway. When I took it back after having it for only a week they wanted to charge me more money to run more tests on the car. I didn’t think it was right since I only had the car for about a week. I decided to take it to the dealership and had to pay them for another diagnostics they determined my turbo needed to be replaced, they messed with my car!! It was running just fine before I brought it to this shop! They are shady! They say they are Christians but they are not!! What comes around goes around! You will never be successful! So I went to these guys the whole month of April and spent well over 1k on my pulleys, belt, axle,and few other things as well. Not only did they not fix the problem they took advantage of my situation and ran with it. They tried to change 1.6k-3k flit replace my headlights literally just got them done for less than half of that and they look amazing!! Now my car is shaking worse and when I brought it back they tried charge an extra 1.3k to fix the problem that should have initially been fixed, they also tried to charge $500 for the parts that was only no more than $200. And I advise you to know your car info or at least have someone with you that does.

Took my 2014 Audi S4 in for what turned out to be a leak in my AC Freon lines from an aftermarket heat exchanger I installed. They got it in, fixed and back to me in a reasonable time for a reasonable price. I would recommend anyone give them a chance.

I was referred to DK Hardee to diagnosis and address an oil pressure warning light that I was getting on my 2016 Audi Q3. They were very professional and scheduled the appt in a timely manner. Upon further extensive investigation it was determined that the issue would require a new engine. I had purchased an extended warranty and they worked with the warranty company to replace (rebuild) the engine requiring little to no hassle on my part. Once the repair was completed, the car ran like new and I was amazed at the difference in performance following the engine replacement. The staff at DK Hardee ( I worked with Curtis..) was always available to answer questions and provided EXCELLENT communication throughout the entire process. I HAVE AND WILL CONTINUE TO REFER THEM TO ANYBODY WHO NEEDS HONEST, QUALITY AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR/CARE.

Great customer service!!! I went to get my brakes checked out because I was told that they will need to be replaced soon. They looked at the brakes, even drove the car, and told me my brakes were ok. DK Hardee is an honest establishment!!! I was recommended by a friend, and even while inside a customer was sharing nothing but great things about this establishment. Although there was no work done on my car DK Hardee will be my go to for any car needs!!!

I can’t say enough good things about Adam and the team at DK Hardee. We were headed back to New York after a long drive to Florida to take care of an ailing parent. Halfway home the Audi Q5 gets very wonky. It barely accelerates and is consuming fuel like mad. When we stop to gas up it dies and barely starts back up.It’s late in the afternoon on a Thursday. We are hungry and we are tired, and we are totally unfamiliar with the area. We look up the nearest dealer and it’s 200 miles away. After a few calls someone recommends DK Hardee. Adam answers the phone and very politely explains that they are booked full for the week. We explain our situation and he agrees to see us at 7AM the next morning.It takes them less than 1 hour to diagnose the problem. The lead mechanic himself comes out to explain the situation and all of the possible repercussions. One hour later they have the work approved by the insurance company, and the parts ordered. And when the rental car that the insurance company promised is slow to appear, they even give me a ride back to my motel so I can wait it out in comfort. By mid day the following Monday the car was fully repaired and running like a charm.I would not wish car problems during a long trip on my worst enemy, but thank god for the team at DK Hardee. They were polite, professional and thorough. They took the edge off a bad situation and turned it into something positive. I would highly recommend these guys. I wish I lived in North Carolina so I could use them for my routine service.

When I moved to the area 8 years ago and needed a mechanic I did the same thing you are doing now, googling mechanics in Hope Mills/Fayetteville. The extremely high rating from hundreds of reviews stood out to me above all other shops listed so I decided to give them a shot. I was not disappointed! When you first walk through the door you are greeted with a smile and made to feel welcomed. I could go on and on about their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care about their customers but let me just tell you the one instance that solidified my decision to continue to use DK Hardee. My truck had a problem that was hard to diagnose. Curtis called me the next day and explained that the tech had it narrowed down to three possible problems and that the tech would need another day or two to pin point the exact problem. He told me we can either throw a lot of money at parts and replace three items and you can get your truck back today or if you can wait then we can find the one problem and fix that which would save a lot of money. I know that a lot of shops would have chosen to go the easy route and made more money but DK Hardys integrity, honesty and loyalty to their customers will never allow them to treat you unfairly.

Been taking my BMW 750LIto D.K. Hardee the past 4yrs and couldnt ask fot a better vehicle repair organization. Very professional staff, facility is very clean and have room for parking. Never had any repair issues after completion of service. Price is more affordable than at other repair facilities.

After being ripped off somewhere else 🙄 I took my car here. They quickly diagnosed what was wrong with it and gave me all options and prices with those options. While the news wasn’t great they were not pushy in what I needed to do, answered all my questions and waited for my decision. They Fixed It!I took my 2016 Ford Fiesta into D K Hardee’s for a check engine light that I could not figure out on my own and they were helpful from day 1. They answered all of my questions over the phone in great detail, educated me on the process, and even showed me what components they were suspecting were the issue after the engine diagnostic. They were straight to the point and Kurtis was very helpful. They were professional in every manner and always returned my calls in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend D K Hardee’s to anyone in the future if they are looking for well educated mechanics who demonstrate the utmost respect toward their customers.

They have a very reliable friendly service and repair center, quick turnaround on most jobs,( 4 days or less), and all original replacement parts are used when available and aftermarket parts are only used if original pieces are not available. They repair standard domestic vehicles,( Ford,Chevy, GM, etc.), but they specialize in foreign models, ( BMW,Porsche, Mercedes, etc.) All work is done at a very reasonable rate, compared to going to the dealership. Will recommend this shop over others in the area.

Went to get my alternator fixed which they did do I will give them credit for but not only were my lights flickering on off inside dashboard it also sounds like my turn signal is on which none of this was happening b4 my alternator went out they also broke the dash cover over my 3-1/2 inch speakers which wasn’t broken an their prices are not and I repeat are not reasonable they overcharge jus for labor alone I highly recommend you stay away from this place take my word for this

I’ve been going to DK Hardee with car needs for at least 6 years. I’ve always been satisfied with their services and the staff, but after a Monday visit, I’m actually impress. Ive always believed that lots of auto repair shops takes advantage of women like myself who has ABSOLUTELY no clue when it comes to car repair. I was upset solely because of my own ignorance with auto repair. But, Curtis saved the day. No matter how upset I was his tone never changed. I work out of town and was caught in a pickle with a battery issue on our work van, it crapped out as I was pulling into their lot. They were able to replace the battery, and fix the alternator because that was the core of the problem. Great group of guys there all super friendly too. DK Hardee Automotive gives the very best customer service that Ive experience. Took and Audi A3 to them to service a low beam/high beam headlight. Not only did they replace the bulbs but they also did a diagnostic test and found the problem that was blowing out the headlights. They specialize in European cars servicing all makes and models. Located at 4327 Camden Road. Talk to Adam and they will give you the best service with a big smile. Quality at its best is their motto and they do just that and more. I highly recommend them. They treat their customers fair and are not out to get every dime they can get from you.

I visited this place this week and I was very pleased with their service. I had set up an appointment and they took my vehicle in without a hiccup. I have a Mercedes-Benz that needed service done, and till this day I am not comfortable on doing the service myself. Adam and Curtis took their time to explain to me what was needed on my vehicle. Instead of saying I needed the complete service they gave me the full list of things that needed to be done, then proceeded to explain each one of them. That alone speaks highly of them. They have competitive prices and they worked on a timely manner. The first time I was there they only performed the oil change, by the time I went back they had my information on hand and they performed the remaining of the work on my vehicle. Im glad I found this shop, I will never go to the dealership again. I recommend this place to everybody in the Fayatteville and Fort Bragg area.

The best you would wish for! I have been in Fayetteville for 5 years. When I arrived, I struggled to find a mechanic who would do great work, communicate well, and offer a fair price--DK does all of those...even on my vehicles that are well outside of the year range that they usually service. Expect great communication and fair prices for good work; you wont be disappointed.
