Jorge took care of my truck during an emergency right before they closed. Employees here provide excellent customer service and expedient in their work. Couldnt thank these guys enough.
Decided I would give Pep Boys a try thinking it would be cheaper from my normal mechanic. Boy was I wrong as well as highly disappointed. Brought my vehicle in to get front/rear brakes and rotors and an oil change. They called me on the phone and told me to do front/rear brakes and rotors it would cost me $1300! How crazy! When my husband called back informing them not to touch my vehicle and that he would be coming to pick it up they gave him attitude and said they already started the oil change…my oil change is normally about $36 on my Chrysler 200..Pep Boys charged me $70! And that was with the 25% off coupon they offer on their website. I went to my normal mechanic Ed’s tire and auto and they did front/rear brakes and rotors for $590 and they did a great job and in a timely manner. That’s over $700 cheaper than what Pep Boys quoted me! I honestly just figured Pep boys would be a cheaper option but clearly I was very wrong!!!
I was working in Fayetteville earlier this week and experienced a flat tire. The team at Pep Boys was so helpful! The tire couldnt be repaired and it was closing time for them but they put on my spare for me so that I could get home. Even though they knew I would need a new tire and lived 2 hours away so I wouldnt be getting it from them, they gave me fantastic service and helped me get home safely. Thank you!!!!!

Just want to give a shout out to Paul and his service team at Pep boys. Was in town for a short time this past weekend when the rental I was driving had a flat. I needed to get the vehicle safely back up to Raleigh before my flight out of RDU at 545am the next morning. his team took my vehicle in on a Sunday afternoon despite 13 other vehicles already ahead 9f it and worked over time to get it done. they didnt go home till 830pm that night...on a Sunday. Thanks so much guys. you really came through for me.
2nd but last time here. Always takes long as heck for simple tasks such as oil change or new tires. I do NOT recommend this place. Employees move like they don’t want to work.EDIT/RESPONSEYou are not going to investigate. Look at all the other complaints in the reviews. The service is still horrible. BTW they didnt even align my tires after waiting over 2 hours.

I came in with a muffler issue and was immediately greeted by the old sergeant Geary was happy to fit me in and get a look at my car. Service was fast and professional and I got my car looked at and the issue resolved very quickly. The Mighty Kirby showed me exactly what was wrong and helped to resolve it and gave me a fair price far below what I was expecting. Overall a quick, easy and fair experience and I’d be happy to come back again.
Went in for an inspection today. I was helped by Aaron, David, and Geary. Everyone was so nice and so helpful. They took my car last minute and it was so fast and so efficient. They really show interest in you and make you feel welcomed! I highly recommend this location.
Was told to come in for a free brake inspection but stood there and watched the guy who told me to come ignore me for an hour, even after asking about it. Horrible service!
Its sad I cant leave a zero star review. Dropped my truck off at 1030 for my appointment to get new tires, confirmed that it would take 1 1/2-2 hours. After hearing nothing for 3 hours, I went back to find my truck in the same spot I left it. When I walked in and asked for my keys there was no apology for the inconvenience or discussion to make amends. They obviously do not value customers and are just out to make a buck. Do not recommend!
I felt low… I didn’t know why until I went to Pep Boys! I’ve met Paul,”The Pressure-izer” who seriously looked at my car and said.. YOU NEED AIR! As he put air in my tires, I felt uplifted, even though I was sitting in my car. :) All this happened because I’ve met The Wizard of Oz.. Gary! Who told me the men at Pep Boys have a heart, courage and a brain. :)

Went in for an oil change appointment, specifically asked to make sure that they include tire rotations with their oil changes (as advertised), waiting a hour and 45 minutes for my car to just be sitting out front. I had to go up and ask the person that the front desk if my car was done while it was sitting in their parking lot. Then I asked to make sure that my tires were rotated, they were not. So I had to stay and wait an additional 15 minutes for that to be done. Overall a service that I was told would only take 1 hour, ended up taking 2 hours and they didn’t even do some of the services they advertised to be included until prompted twice.
All of the men and women are very professional and hardworking. I got great service and will be coming back soon ! Professional, kind, and efficient. Thanks. Geary took care of my case closely I got a great deal and met an Angel !
They have very poor customer service and when I went to get an oil change they did even change it. I would not recommend this place. I would give them 0 stars if I could.

Was on a road trip back home when our tire was punctured and we needed it replaced asap. Luckily this place saved us a world of trouble. Spoke to Geary and he was extremely helpful and friendly. Despite it being last minute they accepted us and even worked past thier normal hours to get it done! Technician Angel did an amazing job and was very quick

I went in for oil change and to have my brakes checked! They rotated my tires for free! Service was quick! Everyone was friendly! Angel worked on my car and idk what he did but I left feeling like I was floating on air down the road! Geary was the one who checked me out and again he was so friendly and helpful! Even with a mask on I could tell he was smiling the whole time!
Im amazed that Pep Boys did not go home, they promised me that my car would be taken care of tonight. I am thankful to meet THE RHALICH who continued to work hard and stay over late to take care of my safety issues i faced. I spoke with the store manager Kevin and found out he will take care of my vehicle no matter how late we need to stay. Last but not least, the OLD SARGE, Geary who kept me up to date on the progress of my car and told old war stories and how the army used to be, compared to how it is today. I appreciate meeting these three hard workers.

Getting a flat after 5p.m. is not fun for anybody. After a quick Google search, I found Pep Boys still in operation. I called, Geary picked up the phone and answered my questions, giving me his word wed get the job done tonight. Geary went above and beyond to see my job through, saving me money in the process, showing exactly what the techs were seeing. Angel, my tech, along with Johnathan, were able to save my tire with a successful patch. I was back on the road with a smile and the knowledge that if I needed anything, to come or call and Pep Boys would take it on.

This store is horrid and that’s being nice. Minimal communication at best. Made an appointment but they didn’t get my car in the back for 2 hours. 2 hours later, they had my tires done. This store definitely reflects poor leadership, both at the management level and corporate level. Obviously there is no sense of urgency. Employees sitting around while there is work to be done. No management anywhere to be found. The only redeeming part was the price which was fair. Y’all have a lot of work to do before you impress me. Terrible, just terrible.
I needed to get my state inspection done immediately. I spoke with Geary who told me to come in immediately and experience an exceptional service. I came into the store and met Kirby, the Inspector. Kirby said he would take care of me IMMEDIATELY! Wow Kirby does care about his customers. The same with Geary. Go meet Kirby and let him show you exceptional service.
The Kumho tires I bought in late September are already worn out. This location seemed kind of indifferent about it and told me to call the company direct. The guy that tried to help me was not pleasant at all and acted like he could not care less that I left unsatisfied. I will never return to this location again.
GEARY and THE RHALICH were exceptionally thorough with doing what they said and did. I experienced service that focused on what I needed without trying to over sale more items.
They Literally almost had me killed, I got my truck back from a Diagnostic done to it and as I’m driving down the street not even two miles down the road my hood pops open as I’m driving couldn’t see anything on a busy street. They couldn’t even make sure my hood was properly closed before giving it back to me that is ridiculous
I set an appointment online to get a quick service. When I entered the building everyone was super nice and was greeted even if they were on the phone. The lines were ringing off the hook & line out the door. They moved quickly and did an amazing job assisting and greeting clients as they were coming in. Geary was amazing! He assisted me with my needs and was super professional! He made me feel so welcomed and appreciated customer! Will most definitely return! Thank you all for what you do!

I was on my way to the Outer Banks from Florida for a family vacation when I got a flat tire about a half hour from this Pep boys. It was 7pm on a Friday and they close at 8pm. By the time the Tow Truck driver got there and we arrived it was 8:30pm. I was desperate and 600 miles from home.. Some of the bay doors were still open. So I rushed in, told them my situation and begged them to help me out. Without hesitation the olold Sarge said lets see if we have your size tires and ask if one of the guys would be willing to stay. After confirming they had my tires in stock the Rhalich and Paul immediately agreed to help me out saving me a hotel room and a day of my vacation. Triple C Car Care Cliff wrote up the order and got the car in al.ost immediately. Dave the manager let them take care of me even though it was a half hour after closing.I have never experienced a better display of customer service in my life! I would highly recommend this entire staff. Tires are tires....a genuine human experience is priceless.
Cant recommend Pepboys enough after our amazing experience today! I had a blow out on the side of the road and they were able to replace both of my rear tires before they closed and get them back to me so we could get my car home! The technician (Tony) stayed after despite them not closing until 8pm to make sure my tires got done and the representatives at the front (David and Geary) kept me updated on where they were at with the job while assuring me they would get done before the end of the day! They even gave me a great deal on my tires and a military discount for my husbands service! The tires come with a year roadside warrenty which gives me alot of peace of mind! We will be glad to return with any mechanical needs in the future!
I spoke with Geary on the phone and he was great! He got me in and out! He was very pleasant on the phone and even better in person! He took great care of me and my daughter. I can really tell he knows what he is doing! And my hat off to Toby who did my tire repair and looked over my vehicle. I definitely will be coming back if I need anything further done to my car. I also met the store manager Orlando and he was as great as his team!

I wish I could give negative stars!!!!Dont go to pep boys!!! Got a set of tires and a tune up for my escalade. They called and said I needed a new timing belt (I have a chain) when I wouldnt give into that they called back and said that the truck wasnt starting and I need a new battery. Well I know it hasnt been long since I got a new one so I said dont put a new one in I will be right there. Get there and its unplugged and someone drained the battery so I asked them to charge it. They said they dont do that. So I asked if they could push it out and jump start it with my other car so they finally agreed to jump start it in the bay. It cranked right up and havent had a problem with the battery since. So on the way home my truck starts losing power. I swore I wouldnt go back so I had another machanic to look it over. The spark plugs that they supposedly replaced were so loose that they could be taken off by hand and I had a spark plugs wire just hanging down that they didnt secured. They also didnt top off any fluids. To be honest Im not sure what they did for a 450 dollar tune up. 1600 dollars for a new set of tires and to give me more problems. I do know I will be contacting better business bureau and whoever else will listen. I wont be going back and other people should be made aware of the way they treat customers.....The man acted extremely annoyed that my battery was just fine and told me over and over again about the need for timing belt. And normally all my fluids are checked and filled for a tune up but my windshield wiper fluid is completely empty. They told me I have an oil leak which is completely untrue. I felt he was just trying any way he could to get more money out of me when I just spent 1600 dollars. I am disgusted by the whole experience. I feel like they purposely left my spark plugs loose so I would have to bring it back and they could try to charge me for something else I didnt need. You could look under the hood and see the wire hanging down, I just didnt know it was a spark plug wire until I looked it up. This is not how you should treat paying customers.

If I could give them zero Stars I would, I came in this place today before schedule an appointment to Simply put on a front splitter for my charger. Its literally as simple as lifting it in the air just enough to set the splitter in place and then screw it in. I dont have a low Jack or jack stands or I would have done it myself. So why would the customer service manager tell me her guys are capable of doing the job but then the mechanic turn around and tell me he just doesnt feel like doing it or he says hes not qualified to do the job? He literally just didnt want to do it. Simple 5 to 10 minute job. Just a waste of time for me.
I needed front in alignment and my driving kept pulling to the right. I came to Pro Boys because of the way customers are treated with respect and friendly attitude. I spoke with Geary who was a gentleman and had a smiling face. Geary gaave my car to Jeff who was serious about making me safe. Jeff does what he says asand means it. Stop by and meet two of customer servicce people. Great Job!!!
They dont balance size tires, this store wont balance 37x12.50 R16 tires. But they can sell them to you. Customer service is not a priority nor are there manners. Just think about it, you answer the phone and you hear the tone of a person that seems to be more upset with calls coming in then enjoying his job. If they dont like working there then dont work there.

We made an appointment! Came in at 2:00 to have tires put on- we left at 6:00! They obviously do not care if an appointment was made. Our experience was absolutely horrible. The customer service is non existent, the majority of the staff didn’t really seem to care about their job. I’m guessing poor pay. I’m only leaving one star because the tv station on had decent movies on for the kids.
They were very poor at providing feedback on the status of my car. It took 2 days to be informed that they were unable to fix it because it was involving the pcm module. Had they informed me sooner I would have been able to get it into the Ford dealer. I took it in on Wednesday, but wasnt informed until Friday morning that it was ready. Now I have to wait until Monday to get it repaired. I wont be going back.

I visited for the 1st time in a very long time to do a 3rd party transaction, I went to the wrong department and I was directed to the right place. Josh at the desk was very helpful in getting what I needed, he explained details of my transaction and offered to carry the heavy item to the car. Such a nice young man. Thank you Josh.

My experience was horrible, first I took my car because it had a noise in front and they told me that the noise was the control arms so they replaced both, when they do the alignment they tell me that they did not ask to do it because I had a bad bottle. The noise never went away and I spent 1,400. I take it again ppr the same noise and they tell me that they are the axles now they charged me an additional 1300. They tell me that they will call me when the car is ready and they never called me.
Mr. Geary was outstanding!!! I came in just for an oil change. I was heading out the next day for a long trip, thanks to Mr. Geary, he may have saved my kid and my life. My two front tires were balled! Thank God Mr. Geary was through with all repair suggestions. He and his crew worked overtime to ensure my vehicle was safe for the trip. If I could give more stars, I would. Thank you so much Mr. Geary!!! And a special thanks to Cody and Ndjimb who worked overtime in very hot conditions to ensure my daughter and I are safe!
My life wasn’t going straight and I felt worn out. Only because that’s the way my car was feeling. So I went to Pepboys to get advice on how to improve my car. The customer service man Mr. Geary counseled me on how to improve my life. Four new tires too soften my ride an a alignment to set me straight. Mr. Diego performed the duties with precision and high quality. Mr. Aaron did my alignment and set my life straight. I feel the service was impeccable, thanks to all.
5 employees are standing around one car just admiring It If I could give 0 stars I would Do not and I repeat do not go to this place for anything. You make an appt and youre still there 2-3 hours later waiting on tires. If I didnt have a problem with waiting I wouldnt have made an appt. They dont fix the tire sensor as they should meaning you have to come back and wait some more hours. Also staff is rude and disrespectful waste of $500 I could have went somewhere else I know now
Took my car to Pep Boys for an oil change, my technician Ndjimb A had a pleasant my attitude and he wanted me to know who worked on the car. Geary had a kind and caring attitude and wanted to make sure my experience was positive. I met the store manager Orlando who took time out of his busy schedule to say hi to me. I liked everybody who I met today.

Came to pep boys for squealing noise under the hood, Jeff the tech took his time to learn my problems were the 3 belts on The engine.he was very thorough. Geary the sale person was helpful and respectful through the whole process. Would send more people here.Im very happy even though I didnt speak to orlando.
My vehicle was dropped off 20 hours ago for a flat tire, i was initially told a couple hours (before closing itll be done if not first thing in the morning) i call next day and im told still not ready so about an hour. That was 4 hours ago and i was just told again 1 hour... worst service by far, over 20 hours for a punctured tire.

Love this store! Every time I come in they are able to help my not car knowable self get exactly what I need without adding on all the “extras” many shops love to include. Today it was Triple T (aka Tire Tech Toby) who serviced my car. I’m always able to drive up and say “my car is doing this thing, can you fix it??” and it’s fixed correctly and quickly. We also had the pleasure of meeting Big Sarge (Geary) who provided some valuable insight on service my car will need soon. Now I know what I need, what to budget, and how much time to allot. Love the military discount they add every time too. It’s a little thing that means a lot to our family’s budget.
Went to the counter told the associate what I needed and was taken straight to what I needed. Not only was the service very fast and friendly he also recommended another product that would do the same thing I wanted and was $12 less. That shows me this shop is has the customers best interest in mind than making a quick buck.

They charged me 99.00 for diagnostics when they could have just read the code for free just like the sign says in the window. & to add insult to injury this place tried to charge me 360.00 to switch out a canister purge valve. I left went to auto zone purchased a canister purge valve for 33.00 and took my business to precision auto who did the labor for 46.00. PepBoys is a scam!!!!

So far my experience has been terrible. The guy that was writing my work order was rude and trying to charge me for things that I never asked for. This is day two of having to leave my car overnight just for a transmission gasket. Smh

They would be a 4.5 it was a little slower than they expected but the service was good mechanically. Originally my star didnt come up correct on my phone so I could see the stars and it was a 3 which is not what I intended. 4.5 is really my rating.
THEEEEE ABSOLUTE WORST!! I made an appointment for 0800... it is now 1124 and im still here. I do not recommend this place. The staff doesnt even like each other. Bickering and attitudes w/each other like its nothing. Asked a question to Kevin... didnt even try to answer it. He told me Ask him (the man servicing me) when he comes back to the counter. Customer service is definitely unprofessional, minus Dan. WILL NOT BE BACK.

Had a nail in my tire about an hour before they close took me in fixed me up and did my annual inspection really fast. Cody fixed my tire in maybe 10 mins. Kirby did the inspection and I was in and out in a half hour. Thanks to all especially Geary took my call got me in as soon as I got here and had me on my way in a half hour
I got an appointment for only Engine oil change (simple task takes 10 min to be done) at 10:30 AM and got there on time and turned in my keys. They made me wait for more than two hours just for oil change. Appointment doesnt mean in this place. I will never get back.It is just to update my review and inform you all that this is just a show and a fake message from owner response, which is send the details to further investigate. As after my review, I got such message and I sent the details, but no response and its obviously just a show for public that we care. NO YOU DONT EVEN VALUE YOUR OWN WORDS. Very shameful...
Took my car in because it was flat this am and had to get roadside assistance to put air in it. Told representative at Pep Boys what the problem was. Was told an hr and a half later that there was no leak. I assured them that there was. Tech Diego took the extra step and found my leak by submerging the tire in water. Then was told that the tire was not repairable d/t the tire having a foam sound barrier in it. So I googled it and found out that it could be repaired. Then the rep says oh we cant do it here which is totally different than unrepairable. Thank you so my much Diego for your hard work and customer service. Needless to say I went across the street to Firestone and they fixed my unrepairable tire!!

Extremely poor customer service. I set an appointment for an oil change but my car sat out in the parking lot for an hour/half. Dont accept appointments if you cant honor them. I will never conduct business with Pep Boys again.
Pricing OK but service was wrong. Was told that they had the 4 tires in Stock that I wanted. Sent my employee who is working out of town there after his work shift and received a call that they only had 3 of the tires. Employee now has to drive another 1 hour trip back to this store the next day or so whenever the tire gets in stock to be put on. Not impressed at all. The customer rep I was dealing with never even apologized for the issue and didnt seem to care that my employee had just worked all night and needed to get to his hotel to sleep before pulling another all night shift. UNIMPRESSED AND LIKELY WONT USE PEP BOYS AGAIN. Its just not this store I have had problems with getting serviced for my fleet vehicles.
Amazing experience. Car broke down on my way to get surgery in New York. They fixed it as fast as they could and were so kind. Great place. Great town!They asked me to let them know how it went so Im leaving it here. Surgery went very well and Im already recovering. Thank you so very much.

The tire techs Cody and Daniel were super fast and efficient at finding out what was wrong with my tire. It ended up being a bent rim.
