Not a typical thrift store!!!I thought I would check this place out (I was looking for a small couch or futon) but it’s not really a thrift store. Most prices are super high compared to other thrift stores. The lady told me they buy a lot of the furniture from the manufacturer. So you may save a little vs. buying it from the actual store. Some of the furniture they buy from people is still really expensive. Not impressed.

Who has things on a shelf and won’t sell them? Pretty frustrating.To your reply: the service of the man that took me to the lampshades was awesome. It wasn’t until we took them to the front desk to find out the prices that I was told they weren’t for sale. The man waiting on me was very apologetic that the owner wouldn’t sell them.

As it’s been previously stated, this place is absolutely ridiculous. Expensive items and rude staff. Don’t you need happy customers to stay alive?

Not a thrift store. Nothing wrong with the people there, but I wont be going back.

I have been shopping here for the past 10 years and everything I have ever bought has been awesome. They have never let me down. I will be going back soon!!!

Extremely over-priced for obviously used furniture.We were interested in a small, used school desk/table, similar to the picture below. It was a small table, about thigh high, not adjustable, and was worn in a number of places.There was no price listed, so we inquired inside. The man behind the desk (believed to be the owner) said it was $39!!! We asked why so much and the man said that the tables were expensive to purchase. Yes, they are expensive, in new, pristine condition. This one was far from new and not at all pristine.The man asked us how much we would like to pay and we offered $10 (the day before we scored a great end table, in much better condition than this table, for under $5). He kind of smiled and said Well, I appreciate it.We were excited to look around the store, as there was a lot of inventory, but after hearing the ridiculous price of this table, we immediately left.Dont waste your time here. There are WAY better deals to be found elsewhere!

Only gave them a star because it wont let me give zero. This place is overrated over priced and they will not negotiate on prices. I went there about 7 years ago I was surprised to see the same stuff there today even more expensive. The staff are rude. Would not recommend it to anyone.

HE IS RUDE! for this to be a “thrift store” everything is so high priced, a table my mother got for $199.. never used, in store, brand new is there for $399 .. they’re over pricing small things for more money, do not recommend going here !

I went there bought a full and king size bed frame got it deliver and only receive a the full size bed with all the piece the king size only got the head board, what I’m going do with a headboard and not the foot board🤨🤨 call them their respond I only get the head board 89$ for that hell no, to expensive for a Thrift store watch what you buy not a thrift store more like a discount store 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Dont go here. Its a waste of time. We went in looking for an office chair, but we couldnt shop due to the fact my husband cannot wear a mask because of issues he had received in the military. Apparently they didnt read that part in the governors executive order, you know where you dont have to wear one for medical reasons. They were very rude and we left. Save your time and check out the pickin coop and the peddlers mall in lumberton. They are very nice people and they have great prices.

My wife & me have been in now 3 times in the last 18 months. Finding that pricing, to us, appears to be high for the offerings. We have found one treasure in our searches here. Will come back but wont be our first stop. Friendly staff and accommodating.

Everyone was so nice and accommodating from the second i walked in. The selection is full of so many things that I had a hard time leaving without more. Everything is priced well and definitely worth the money. I have found my new favorite store for sure.

I love shopping for and filling my home with vintage pieces. This shop has a huge collection of vintage furniture and knick-knacks. If you know what you are looking for you can find great deals on some really nice, sturdy pieces that will last another 50+ years! Even if I dont buy anything it is so much fun to walk around and look at the variety of items they carry.

We were welcomed the moment we walked through the door, the employees were very helpful and we got some beautiful new furniture at a great price!! Overall I was very happy with the level of customer service we received. They are also extremely dog friendly, which we loved!!

Theyve got a tremendous inventory. Mainly, because they over price and cant sell anything. Ask them if theyre willing to negotiate on some of their used furniture, theyre willing to settle on the price marked. Nothing thrifty about this place. Youll get the same new and delivered furniture sets from any nationwide retailer. Theres nothing redeeming about this place. Avoid it if you value your money, find a real thrift shop.

This place has a truly remarkable selection of furniture varying from your staple run down bookshelf to high quality antiques to brand new sofas. Prices are variable, a few great bargins, a few where some highly used furniture is slightly less than what youd pay for brand new.

I really do try to see the best in people and places, but this place leaves you feeling insulted. I have worked in retail for 10+ years and have learned the way to welcome customers and how to in the very least make them feel comfortable enough to look around in your store and hopefully buy something... Pretty awful vibe going on in there. As other reviewers have mentioned it is extremely pricey for a thrift store. Dont waste your time and stick with Re-store or Re-warehouse for sure.

Okay... so this is a nice store to go to time to time... but it is wayyy over priced.. I have in been in “vintage business” for 30+ years and seeing some of their pieces made me shake my head.

I called and negotiated a price on a piece of furniture, telling him what the posted price was and describing the item. I then rented a trailer and drove 75 miles to get it. Bob, the owner, then decided that he could not sell me the item at the agreed upon price, raising it $25.00. Normally I would have walked on principle, but already spent money on the trailer and gas and time, so I paid the extra money.Bob has decent furniture but if he thinks you cant walk away, he will screw you as much as he can. Dont let the power scooter fool you. I wont be back.

Large selection of merchandise at reasonable prices. A little hard to get to due to medians and road construction but worth the effort.

WORST retail experience ever!!! My children were severely scolded for sitting on a few couches. They were tired from shopping and simply sat down. Instead of addressing me nicely, the manager rudely addressed my children. One of the other associates had just complimented that our boys were behaving fine. Ive never been treated so rudely in a retail store. What she doesnt know is that we were looking to purchase living room and dining room Furniture. Oh well their loss.

I bought a beautiful china hutch and the staff was very friendly and helpful with loading it securely on my truck.

Employees follow you and make awkward conversation. I get it- you think Im going to rob you- just try and make it less obvious.They seem to be operating as a furniture store under the guise of a thrift store. Non furniture section was paltry and criminally overpriced. Gimmicky kitchen appliances with heavy wear were being sold at retail new prices. I did however ind a opy of my favorite movie and bought it as insurance. I was fairly sure the cops would have been called on me had I bought nothing.

They have alot of good stuff but they want to sell used stuff for 10-20% off at best. Some of their things are more than new if you ask me. We purchased brands new furniture and came here for a couple pieces to finish our home and we ended up going back and buying new cus it was about 15% mote but at least we got a guarantee and delivery with the extra $

Lousy business. They rip people off constantly, and they have favoritism going on amongst their employees. They also carry books with titles like White Racism Explained. Do yourself a favor and go to a legitimate furniture store or any different thrift shop; youll be treated much more professionally.

The quality of their items are good. It is organized well. The service was ok, it seemed like they were in a hurry when helping me almost like it was a bother. Their prices are very OVERPRICED! Their furniture is nice but overpriced for used furniture. You can get new furniture for less. I shopped at other thrift stores and found items for a drasticly lower price. I would not buy anything in there because of the prices.

I hired the owner Bob Thompson to appraise some marital property located at my ex husbands house. I contacted him yet he continued to call my ex regarding my ability to make it to the scheduled times. Very unprofessional. After we finally got it all wrapped up I asked him how I should settle up (pay) him. He said its all been paid for by your ex. I expressed that that was not what I had understood. I understood that we would each pay for our respective appraisals. He again contended the ex was paying. Ok!Fast forward a few weeks... I get a call from mr Thompson saying I owe him for the appraisal. I expressed that I would try and get by his shop. Well I forgot. I forgot a couple of times (Im a busy single mom of 3 with some very active kids and I work full time.... I forget whatever isnt on my list. Having already forgotten several times he calls me again. I apologized again for forgetting at which point he says I need to pay that night because he will be out of town for 2 weeks. He then goes on the threaten a late fee of $100 if I dont!! I am not accustomed to paying bills I have not received either electronically or by paper. Nonetheless this made me question his ability to conduct proper business transactions. I dont pay that night and instead call his shop and request they mail me an invoice by which I may pay via mail (since I do have a very busy schedule) he refuses!!!! Says thats not how it works and that I must come to his shop. Mind you.... Ive never even stepped into his shop nor have I ever signed a contract or agreement to hire him. He came by default as a result of my ex having hired him.I refuse to be bullied into paying something without having first been billed/invoiced. Who does that?!!!!! If this is how he conducts business all I can say is BUYER BEWARE!!!!!PS I have an excellent credit score without a single negative item. I PAY my BILLS. The keyword being BILLS. And I will be more than happy to pay this one. Once received.

In spite of reading how overpriced items are at this store, I wanted to go and check for myself... Well, it was a waste of time and gas! I was looking for used bookshelves, and I saw used Walmart bookshelves priced at $39.99 for the top part, $39.99 the lower part ($80!!!!) when the whole bookshelves cost $27.84 at any Walmart store. ALL THEIR USED FURNITURE IS RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED! No bargains. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!The store is full of furniture for a reason: THEY CANT SELL ANY! Before you sell a used TV stand for over $250 when the new one at Target or Walmart costs less than $160, please do your research Mr. Store Manager!

Stopped in a few times now and always left without buying. They have lots of furniture but overpriced. Some other bric-a-brac and decor items but no good deals found.

Nearly new prices for not so nearly new stuff.

Their prices for used furniture are WAY too high, I could buy new for the prices they ask on the majority of their stuff. I’ve stopped by a couple times and every time I walk out disappointed by how expensive they are.
