While this was the quickest oil change Ive ever had, I was highly misinformed so I was charged extra. I was told specifically that my car required synthetic oil. I come to find out after my change that it does not so rather than the $20 I could have paid, I was charged $75. For someone who is laid off at this point, every cent matters

Gear heads beware.They misquoted the tire price so I had to settle for a tire I new nothing about. I asked them to set the tire pressure to a specific pressure and didnt get a block before pressure monitor went off indicating low tire... And heres why.. they didnt reset tp monitors so they set the rears low instead of the front(I wanted them the same all around because its a heavy duty vehicle.I went to was the vehicle and found that there was axle grease all over 3 of the four rims.Thats not what set me off... The ride of the tires is vague to say the least (no feel for the road). I contacted them to see what the best solution was. After investing roughly around 6 hours of my time with poor service Tim(The manager) literally wanted me to start a claim with the manufacturer (more time) instead of making it right. Mind you I was never ugly or rude(as much as I want to). This isnt a rant. This is my experience. I hope it doesnt happen to you.

The best deal on tires (I called and asked 10 places) and customer service could not be better! The gentleman working the front desk was so helpful and courteous. I highly recommend them to anyone!

I have been here a few times now to have my truck aligned. The guys are helpful and the lead technician who goes by Turbo is very knowledgeable and always does a great job on my truck.

Wife tells me something is “grinding” on her van at 2pm. I arrived at home at 3pm. Took van to Big O at 4pm. Big O replaced both rear rotors, one metal-to-metal, and rear pads by 5:30pm. Couldn’t ask for faster or better service!Highly recommend them!

This place was excellent! They just happened to be across the street from where I had gotten a nail in my tire and they really fixed me up and gave me all the important information I needed about my tires. I will for sure recommend them to everyone I know! They were quick, polite, and very knowledgeable.

A couple of months ago I got 4 new tires and a life time alignment for my truck. The store manager Tim and store associate Michael were both absolutely wonderful, offering 5 STAR service. They made me feel valued, were patient with me, and truly looked out for my best interest. The all-terrain tires have held up beautifully and they look sharp and feel very durable. We purchased four new tires from Big O Tires in February 2018 and paid extra for the 3 year warranty. In November 2019, while in the middle of moving to a new city, I got a flat tire while driving on the interstate on a Monday night. When I went to Big O the next day (Tuesday), they said they didn’t have our tire in stock, would “put it on their next order,” and should have it by Thursday. We asked if they could substitute a comparable tire, but manager Michael Johnson would not approve the request and said we would have to pay for the new tire unless it was the exact tire we purchased before. We called on Thursday, no tire. We called Friday, no tire. We called Saturday and again asked them to honor the warranty and just get us a new tire, as we had been driving around on a spare tire all week. They refused. My husband is currently at the store still trying to get ANY tire put on our vehicle so we can get back to packing and move this week. The manager had an opportunity to do the right thing, keep our business, and earn more business by word of mouth recommendations, but he chose not to and has lost a customer.

My trucks alignment was way out of adjustment. Had to practically wrestle the steering to keep it straight. Big Os did a fantastic job getting it back in adjustment. It now handles like it was factory new. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Only real complaint is the time it took to service. But I rather have a thorough and detailed service versus a fast one. Thanks again!

By far the best tire place in town. As a former mechanic I like the ability to take my cars into a shop and not worry if they did the work right. Tim is a great asset to this store. They do great job at tires, brakes, oil changes, and alignments. Explain in detail about your cars issues if any. Quick and efficient service and not wanting to rob you of your money. It may have the Big O Tire name but it has a local auto shop feel.

The customer service and facilities were excellent. However, from the time I picked my tires and was given a price, it took 2 and a half hours to do the inspection, change my tires, and pay. That is a long wait with no updates or timeframe given to let me know it was gonna take that long. Especially given I was one of only 3 people currently in shop

I Was going out of town and ruined one of my tires. I needed a replacement quickly. I pulled into big O tires on Kingston Pike at closing time yesterday. I was met by Michael and was pleasantly surprised at the excellent customer service he provided, even at the close of business. They did not have A tire that would match the rest of my tires and the warehouse was already closed. However Michael committed to ordering my tire the next morning so that I would have it in the afternoon. He contacted me and told me that Tire was there before 1 o’clock. I took the car in for service and they were able to put the tire on the car and move one from the back to the front in less than 20 minutes.I am truly amazed at the prompt attention I received. I live across town in South Knoxville however I was so impressed with the service Michael provided that I have made the big O past Lovell rd. my tire shop of choice.

My family and I were were going to Ohio from Georgia for my sister in laws funeral when we noticed that our tire had a slow leak. We decided to go to Big O tires because is was close to our then current location. We pulled in and was immediately greeted by someone ready to help us. I cant remember his name, but he was a joy. So helpful and had so much compassion for our loss. We ended needing 2 tires before we were off on the road again because another tire had a nail in it. The service was fast and they kept us informed about the process the entire time. Thank you to your team for getting us quickly and safely back on the road. We will forever be grateful. PS. I had been to 4 competitor stores prior to Big O. Each time the tire/wheel balancing process failed to properly identify an issue with one of my tires. Big O found the issue immediately. They allowed me to document their findings, and as a result, the manufacture replaced the defective tire. Workmanship is first rate. I would trust them to do what is right for my new truck in the future. Thanks Big O.

I bought tires on 4/26/19 had a blow out and was told they would not warranty the tire because I didnt purchase the warranty... they were brand new tires not even 2 months ago and nobody could replace the tire without me spending 130 dollars more or paying completely too replace the tire. The people are polite but this doesnt name any sense. If I had the tires 6 months I could understand not replacing the tire but 2 months someone should have replaced that without me having to spend extra money. I went to this place because they were highly recommended and wasnt all about money. Somebody dropped the ball here.

I went for an oil change. I was told no wait they would get me right. I took a seat . I arrived at 11:30. At one point I was advised. I needed an ac filter no problem. I was the only one there at the time. After an hour or so, I asked how much longer. The manager went to find out. I was then told they hadnt gotten me in yet. I was about to leave when I said, when I came in I didnt back into the parking space. PS I had been done all along work ticket complete

I got the best quote here for tires and a new timing belt. When I was trying to schedule and didnt have a second driver so I could leave the car, Tim offered to pick up my car. The service here was friendly and reliable. I couldnt be more pleased.

So I have been a customer a big o tires since they opened and even prior to that when they were car x and then bought out car x. I have sent many people to them who are regular customers and when I called on Friday to have some work done on my vehicle the new manager Michael was very rude and informed me that the old manager was not doing his job right and that I would have to pay their 40 percent up charged price for a part when Ive already bought my own part from the dealership. Well, if the old manager wasnt doing his job right, I dont know what to say! He was honest, had integrity and always provided 💯 percent customer experience, and never lied about unneeded service. I am an experienced mechanic and know quite a bit about cars and Tim was always a straight shooter..I just dont have the time to work on my own cars, I am not paying them to mark up parts, I am paying them to work on my vehicle. I calmly explained that I have always bought my own parts because I should be able to choose what brand I use, and he told me that that wasnt the way they do things now! I have sent more people than they can count on their hands to them and we will all be going somewhere else. Tim the old manager was amazing and easy to deal with and always did what he said and the new manager Michael is very argumentative and defensive and that is not the way you do business I run a business less than a mile from them and I will never send another customer to that store again. UPDATE: HONEST 1 automotive right down the street from BIG 0, put my wheel bearing in and used my OEM part for me, and do an amazing job.. HONEST 1 will have mine and my friends and customers business from now on. This is a classic case of Dont fix something if its not broken The store was always busy before they switched management. Big 0 was my go to shop, but not anymore! 1 bad experience ruined 7 years of a good business relationship.

Had my vehicle towed there Saturday. Workers were nice and professional. Estimate was $1500+ after diagnostics test. Was assured the diagnostic test was thorough, as I was a little apprehensive about spending $1500 on this vehicle. But went with it given the assurance it would be fixed. They got it taken care of. Beware.I took 2 cars here for an oil change and service. I also had a spare wheel from another car which had a slow puncture.Part of the service includes tire rotation and balance.Whilst waiting they called and said the wheels needed alignment which I agreed to.When I picked up the car it was dark and I was in a hurry.The next morning I noticed that on both cars the wheels had not even been touched. Both of them had a lot of brake dust so it would have been very obvious. There certainly was no rotation or balance done.As for the spare tire, I was assured that they checked the wheel twice and there was no leak. I put the wheel on the car the following day and within 48 hours the tire was completely flat.Never again will I go here.

Everyone over at Big O tires has been amazing and have always gone above and beyond what was needed to make sure that what i needed was taken care of and my car was in the best shape. Ive had the most interaction with Erin at the Farragut location, she made sure to not only make me a priority but also a few friends that i have brought by whos cars were not as easy to work on as mine. It was the patience and priority that Erin showed me coupled with each of the mechanics that took time away from the original job on my car to answer questions i had about other components that will always keep me coming back to Big O Tires. Stop engine lights came on my dashboard just as I was near Big O Tire.My car was having oil pressure issues.Tim took hours to check into the problem and decided that I should take mycar to someone that specializes in foreign cars and recommended a nearbyplace. He did not charge me anything for his services.I am very thankful for his help and highly recommend Big O Tire.They are honest, forthright and very caring.

The staff on 8/13 at the Farragut Location were phenomenal, they even offered to deliver my car back to me at my office after removing the nail from the tire. Couldnt have asked for an easier process.

I had a nail/screw in my tire causing a slow leak. I went to 2 other tire stores to get it repaired and they told me they didnt have time to repair the tire. I went to Big O and was in and out in less than 30 minutes AND they didnt charge me a dime. Needless to say that was the best advertising dollars they could have spent. Very fast and great customer service. Was quoted at $180 for another place to install headlight assemblies. Big O did it for $100 and was out of there 30 minutes faster than expected. Veteran owned and they give a military discount.

Service was good, no problems there and prices are set okay. The problem I had was at the start of an appointment they give you a estimate of the cost. But a few things came up for my car after they told me the estimate. They asked if I wanted it done I said yes assuming a price, but when it came to pay they actually did more than one thing and the price was higher than expected. It needed to get done, so no harm no foul, just maybe do a reprint of the cost estimate? Also my alignment went left before, and after went right, will be going back though good prices, warranty and service. They also take time to explain things to a layman which is nice.

Stopped in for an oil change on my Audi. First time taking the car anywhere other than dealer or Audi/BMW service center. Had good experiences in the past with Big O but this was not one of them. They changed the oil and I headed home to Chattanooga afterwards. The following day I noticed a large puddle of oil on my garage floor and checked the oil to find it was at the add mark on the dipstick. I drove the car to a mechanic a couple miles away and they informed me that the crush washer on the oil pan drain plug had not been changed as required and nearly all the oil had drained out. Contacted the store twice so far but they refuse to return my calls to rectify the problem. Will call one more time then seek other means. This is unfortunate as Big O has always provided quality service but I doubt I will ever take my car to them again.Update: After discussing the issue with the general manager he asked me to submit the receipt for the repair. I submitted the receipt to the email provided and received no communications for two weeks. Additionally, I also sent correspondence to the replied thread below (owner) and also received no response. It was not until I made an update to this review detailing the events that I was contacted.On December 5th the GM contacted me and refunded the cost of the service. I found this solution amicable and will move on from this experience...

Exploring three different local sellers and one online seller for tires, I went with Big O because;1. They had the best price and the customer contact person, Erin Davis has excellent phone skills.2. Erin greeted me at the door and made me feel welcome, explained the out the door pricing and Big Os warranty policies. I was in and out in less than hour for four new tires. The techs were all friendly and polite and asked if there was anything else they could do.3. Veteran owner and many employees are veterans as well, which I absolutely support if I can.I will recommended to all my friends and neighbors and take my other vehicles to them when I need tires or repairs.Keep up the good work and Thank You for Your Service.

Charged me extra labor for tire sensors to be installed after I was told since they had the tires off anyways they wouldnt charge me. I agreed thinking it was the oil change I requested. They never did the oil change. Nice people though but check your receipt.

I worked with Tim throughout my car maintenance & repair process and was pleased with how he handled our experience from start to finish. I came in for new tires and brakes & decided to have them get a second opinion on a check engine/check gas cap light that had been on in our Jeep for over a year. Per the previous shop we had taken it into, they advised it was not causing any performance issues, just tripping the lights and wanted to charge us $800 to fix it, which we passed on due to their being no performance related issues. After Big O looked at it, they determined they could fix it with an inexpensive replacement part. We tried a couple different parts over the course of 2 weeks, but it ultimately triggered the engine light after a couple days both of the first two times. The 3rd time was the charm and it has not been back on since. Big O did each subsequent part install & order free of charge after my initial visit until they solved the problem. I was very impressed with their diligence to fix my problem and even offered to pay after the second time, which they declined. We will be taking all our car needs here for the foreseeable future.

Very disappointed that management was changed here. The old store manager was what brought me back so many times. Pricing was fair and no one suggested having work done that was not necessary. Now, with a new manager pricing is up and I fell as though Im being suggested services be done because of miles not actual needs. These are reasons I left the last repair shop I used before coming to Big O.Very disappointing to say the least.

Fast and professional staff... reasonable prices

The service is good, the people are kind,, but extremely slow, came in for a basic tune up took them 3.5hrs to complete; was told a wreck happen on the highway and an employee was sent to pick up parts. About 2hrs later was told I was waiting a oil change to b completed but was waiting on the oil filter. My question is why was the filter not picked up on the 1st part run in the 1st place????

Dropped off my son’s Jetta to get a tire checked. They checked all the tires AND replaced a headlight bulb for free! INCREDIBLE customer service!

The guys were so helpful with my tire issue and the service was outstanding. They gave me several options to consider because of my time constraints.

Came in on a Saturday very close to closing time with a flat repair. The guys were honest,efficient and easy to deal with.

Took my daughters car in for new tires. Service writer said the car needed 3 new belts which i am sure was true as the car has 100,000 miles. I told them to replace all 3. Less than a week later the car threw the compressor belt. I took it to my local mechanic that i trust and he showed me where the power steering pump was loose and the entire bracket that holds the compressor tensioner pulley had fallen off the car. The BigOTires mechanic had not tightened any of the bolts. The tensioner pully bracket is a dealer only item so there goes a couple hundred more $$ for that part alone. Moral of the story, dont let tire shops perform mechanical repair of your car.

Worst experience ever! Tires were not in stock for the truck I have so I Big O Tires ordered them for me on July 2nd. I was told it would take 3 days to receive them and would get them on Monday July 8th (due to the July 4th holiday). Called Monday July 8th only to be told they had the tires ordered and they would be in Thursday July 11th. July 11th I was told all day they would be coming with the delivery only to find out the end of the day, the tires never showed up. I finally got my tires on today, July 12th, 10 days after they were ordered. I would never use this place again....

Great group of guys with the attention to detail that others seen to overlook so often these days. Thankful to have a shop I can trust to get things done right for a reasonable price!

Just be careful and make sure that they dont try to sell you something that your car dont necessarily need.
