I reserved a storage unit online through Uhaul in order to store my boat for the winter. I reserved a 10x25’ unit for $84.95 and set the move in date to 9/20. I though, man that was easy and I hooked on my boat to bring it down to store it. When I got there Uhaul said they didn’t have and units and they would add my name to a list and give me a call when one opened up. Fast forward to today 10/3… I called to check in and see if they had availability. They did have one open up, so I drove down to reserve it. When I was making the reservation, they told me it would be 169.95/ month. I asked it they would honor the price I received online and they said they wouldn’t. Well so much for using this place for storage…
My RESERVATION was not reserved. It was literally like that episode of Seinfeld. I was notified two days prior to pick-up that they did not have my truck and I, the customer would have to drive 2 hours to MN to get a truck, and I wouldnt be compensated for the time, gas, or miles on my car. No way! I will take ownership and say lesson learned to thoroughly go through the reservation contract which I was told has a new update stating that they may not have your truck. What I didnt understand was if you knew you didnt have my truck, and there was no one schedules to bring a truck to this location, why allow a reservation at all. To wrap this up, just go to Penske and save time, plus they offer unlimited miles. And use promo code FIREWORKS21 to save 10% through July lol. Unbelievable.
Just went in to rent some moving blankets and the guy was so nice. Weve used this Uhaul location in the past and it is by far the best location in FM.
Non existing customer service. I went in to the location and said I need a truck to take down to the cities. He asked for my license and how many miles I will be going and handed me a contract. When I got to the cities and went to the location I have dropped trucks off at other times I have done this rental, I was informed that the truck was supposed to be an in town rental and I will be charged an additional 600 dollars. But its my fault. Corporate will not help and every one in the company is saying that its my responsibility to get the truck back. Now the store I left it at that said they would hold my contract has rented the truck out. Again, my fault according to them. Now, I am looking at driving 6 hours out of my way on Christmas eve and still getting charged extra milage and paying another 100 in gas... absolutely horrible customer service from all of uhaul.
I only give this review 3 stars out of respect for the company that has done so well over the years for me.But,I had made four calls to this location starting at 10AM, three of those reps answered and then sent me to hold for an abrupt disconnect; a total of 27 minutes waiting just to have my call dropped. The simple task of scheduling a stored crate to be locally delivered became a day long failure.The only rep who did take my call made a promise for a call back before the afternoon. I knew the contact number was different since the contract was made, so i made sure she had the correct call back number; I even had her read it back to me. After waiting 4 hours for the callback, I decided this required personal attention and made the trip to the facility at 6PM. That is 8 hours 40 miles round trip just to find out that they had called the wrong number and the only person who could assist in the scheduling of my crate drop off was gone for the day.My only consolation as I left the clerk who couldnt help me, was my phone number and name on a piece of scratch paper and a promise that they would call me tomorrow.We shall see how this story ends, as this location may need a rating adjustment.I o

Be careful here, they lose reservations and then dont accommodate well at all. Ive had it happen twice now from this location. Poor customer service overall. They want customers to accommodate but they wont reciprocate.Its too bad, its a good location for their business.
Ive used this location a couple times for local moves and the customer service has been wonderful. Every time that Ive gone into this nice looking and clean store to purchase supplies, the staff is really helpful and pleasant. I cant say this about every U-Haul location but this one really shines!
Their customer service is excellent. Always able to answer my questions and make me feel comfortable renting from them. Definitely recommend this location.
Ten out of ten do NOT recommend. I will never be using U-haul again for moving. Horrible experiences using this location of U-haul for their U-boxes. I recently moved to the area, and experienced extremely poor customer service ranging from the delivery of my U-box being a hassle,and treated disrespectfully, to getting charged repeatedly (even after I was taken off auto-pay). When they dropped off my U-box at my new apartment, they backed it in the parking spot, with the u-box still on a trailer with no hitch lock- so that anyone could back up in the middle of the night or day and take off with my stuff. Unacceptable. The Uhaul lady was super rude, and stated I should just trust no one was going to take off with the U-box which was still on a flat bed trailer. Next when dealing with getting over charged and not taken off auto pay a month later, I called U-haul to inquire and inform them of these charges it was such an ordeal. Finally they said someone would get back to me within several business days. However, they never left a message nor a call back number. Trying to get a hold of a representative is near impossible at this location, even when you leave a clear message and phone number. I had to call multiple times to finally get a hold of someone, only to be treated rudely over the phone, about *their* mistake in overcharging me. Its been almost nearing a month and my issue is still not resolved. Not worth the stress and hassle using U-haul. Very unprofessional service and unacceptable behavior. One would think U-haul, being a widely-known moving and storage company, would want to strive to bring ease and peace of mind to clients. However, this is not the case.
If your looking to pay for a storage unit and want all of your belonging to sit in water this is the place to go. Had a facility rented for 2 months during the summer months and had a pleasant surprise of finding out that all my stuff had been sitting in water due to a leak in the unit or poor drainage of the facility. All of my belongings were sitting on heavy plastic to protect it but with the amount of water in the facility it did not matter. Uhaul will not reply and their insurance is owned by Uhaul so do not expect to get any help or any reimbursement of any kind. At this moment I am out 10K in personal belonging damage and still had to pay my monthly storage unit rent. Its great, you pay and their facility is so poorly constructed/managed it will ruin your belongings and YOU PAY FOR ALL OF IT!
Horrible! Called today to ask if they have 20ft truck available for the weekend and because I would not give her my email and phone number first she just hung up on me. No explanation as to why she needed it just a hung up. Horrible customer service!!!!!! Was on hold forever too before I got the rude staff.

This store is new, clean, and has pretty much everything you need for moving at reasonable prices. The customer service at this store was superb.
Rented a pickup for one night of moving a piano with my own trailer. Equipment worked well and everything got moved okay.When I looked at my bill in my email it showed they charged $80 and I should have a $17.22 cash refund. I never was issued a refund to my debit card.I called the location and was told to call back the next day to talk to the manager. I called back the next day and the manager was not there. I asked if the refund could be put back on my card ... but the UHaul employee hung up on me. I called back but nobody answered. I got sent to customer service.After waiting on hold for a few minutes I was greeted by a kind lady whom I explained the issue to. She said I would get a call from the manager of that store.The next week I get a call from the manager of the store who leaves a message on my phone explaining they send a check to people they cant get ahold of or people that dont come in to get their cash refund.So, I patiently wait for my check to arrive in the mail.A week later and no check in the mail.I call customer service and get greeted by a very kind lady. She looked up the account information and verified the check was issued to me but for some reason was never sent to me in the mail. I complain that this is ridiculous to have this much hassle over $17.22, she agrees. I explain I want a full refund of the $80 to cover the time I spent on the phone trying to get my money back. She said she will try.The manager finally emails me and says this:“Sorry for the confusion. I have credited your card back $17.22. Thank you for using U-Haul.”That’s it … nothing about the check they forgot to send or anything. They didn’t even say they were sorry for the massive mistakes and didn’t thank me for my time. I should get a full refund from UHaul for this unprofessional service.I will never be a UHaul customer again, it will save me some headaches!Never go to this location and rent anything because they will probably mess up something in your bill. Unbelievable.

The old lady with the tattoo on her hand was extremely rude both on the phone and even worse in person.She acted like I ruined her day by even showing up. She also signed me up without my consent for the insurance.
Terrible customer service. Placed an order for a truck at this location. They never called or contacted us further about the order. When I called to confirm the truck this evening, the representative told me that my truck was actually at the Main Avenue location. She then blamed the Main Avenue location for not contacting us.
