My first experience with renting a storage unit. They made it painless.

From the time I walked in the door until I had rented the space and had the keys in hand in was very quick. I was schooled on how to use the app to get in the gate along with the code, I don’t think it could have been any easier.

During an emergency related to a house move, I required a unit on short notice. The assistant was extremely helpful and sensitive to my issue and helped me immediately. The unit was clean with pallets inside for items to be placed off the concrete. Great all around.

Prices are reasonable. Online set up was fast and easy. Units are in great shape and well maintained. Just need your own lock which isnt really a problem, especially when they sell some locks for cheap.

I have been with Five Star now for a year and a half. Recently I needed peace of mind. I wasn’t sure if I had secured my unit. I called, and Sam returned my call very shortly and said yes, I had locked it.Five Star has top notch facilities and I believe their people make them the place I want to store my stuff at. Great staff and decent security. Only giving a 3 star because the pricing is absolutely ridiculous. $68 for a 5x10 and saved $2 with a veteran discount. When I lived in NC I had a storage unit that was 10x15 and only paid $40 a month with the same amount of security and placement.SUPER OVERPRICED

I was a customer at a storage facility that was recently purchased by Five Star Storage. I wanted to move my trailer to a gated facility. I happened to see an employee at my original location and mentioned it to Ryan. He kept me in mind and as soon as a spot opened up in the gated facility, he gave me a call. I really appreciate his giving me first crack at the unit. I didn’t have to keep calling back and asking shoot availability. Above and beyond.

After a crazy morning of chaos and honestly not looking forward to another “errand”. I walked into the Five Star Storage main office and was instantly greeted by two wonderful ladies. Kelsey was the one who helped me and not only was she very knowledgeable but also set me up with my storage unit, lock and insurance. She was so kind to show me how the locks work and genuinely take her time to answer my questions. The price were shockingly affordable after adding moving in fees, the lock and insurance. Thank you so much, Kelsey!!!!

This place should be investigated for theft. They sold my storage unit right out from under the payment agreement we had due to my lack of payment as a result of the covid19 psndemic. I was the most dirty, unprofessional& deliberate moves ive witnessed in all my 44 years on the earth. After comming forward with my experience many more shared their stories of similar M.O..I hsve visited with dozens of individuals who have lost their most prize possessions trusting in this storage facility & taking the employees word for face value thst as long as I keep making payments they will not auction my thingsThe contents of the unit was mostly my late mothers belongings but she was my best friend. Plus my whole childhood was in thereSure her things were old or broke or worn out... but they were priceless to meThey belonged to me now. They sold my entire unit for 136$ at an online auction. Horrible place & peopleLiars? Greedy

Can’t answer the phone and gets mad when I knock on the window and yells at me thru the window “you can wait”. 😂 girl you close in 30 minutes I’ve been trying to call you for 20. Learn your job. I would recommend to 5 star storage to find a new and professional “area manager”

The staff is always immediately helpful and accommodating. The grounds are always clean. The communication is excellent when special things are going on. I wouldnt be anywhere else.

Very friendly and courteous staff! The only issue I would say I have is their requirement that you have insurance for your property, but I get that they dont want to be held responsible is something happens.

Very bad, unfriendly management, like to rise their voice and want to stiff me off 5 days rent,I initially started renting at this location 3 yrs ago, I was paying month to month at the beginning of the month, so I decided to make them deduct the rent using DDS, and I requested to pay at the 5th due my paycheck arrival, they made me pay 5 days then pay regular monthly from the 5th to the 1st,Last 12 months the 5th was a Sunday so they charged me late fees and I had to call to have them reverse that, today manager told me that they will not let me pay per our agreement at the 5th but at the 3rd max, then agreed to change it to the 4th but I accepted and when I asked to refund me for the day going back from the 5th to the 4th she claims she dont have any records of that and have to furnish proof which I dont have at the moment, this is unacceptable for a place to destroy their records from 3 yrs back.even changing the date to 3rd or 4th is not going to help because they fall in Sundays too.
