Sunday May 30th around 1pm, I went to the store and bought two hats and for them to be embroidered. I was rung up by Amie. I was told that it would take about two hours. I come back to the store to pick up the hats that I had purchased and there’s a sign on the store stating that she had gone to lunch. I waited until 4pm until she got back from lunch to just get my order and leave. When i approached her about the hats that I purchased AMIE had the audacity to have a stank attitude like I was disturbing her!!! Are you serious Amie?! You weren’t that busy to finish embroidery on two hats that would take three hours? Oh but you had time to feed your damn face! Customers come first! Always! This place and AMIE is ridiculous !
Too bad I cant give this dump a rating of ZERO stars... I went in there on a Wednesday to have two hats custom embroidered for a special event taking place on the coming Friday. I was told when Id called before coming that it was $10.99 per hat for the embroidery and when Id gotten there it was suddenly an extra $3.99 for the thread.. nonetheless I still went through with the order. I expressed the importance of having the items by noon Friday multiple times and was assured theyd be ready later that day (Wednesday) or Thursday morning at the absolute latest. Thursday afternoon at around 4pm I called to check on the status and was told that theres only one employee that works there thats allowed to use the embroidery machine and she didnt come to work but would be in Friday. I reiterated the importance of needing these items by noon on Friday and was told that they open at 10am and would DEFINITELY make sure they were the first to be done and ready by noon. In the meantime, as I was losing more trust in Lids by the second, Id found another vendor in town that was more than accommodating and told me they would have no problem getting the order completed in time even with the short notice, called Bee Seen Gear (whom quoted me a price that was half of what Lids charged me). Friday morning I went into Lids at 10 as I was told that was when theyd open, to make sure this employee who can run the machine was actually at work and SURPRISE! She wasnt there because they open at 11am! I decided to do some other shopping to kill an hour and returned only to find them closed for another 20 minutes before the Assistant Manager showed up late. I explained my situation and was told that the lady who runs the machine was out on vacation but would be in on Saturday. I explained that that wouldnt work and I needed my hats back and a refund. He told me he still needed to count his ONE till before he could open (which took another 20 minutes). Then, after being told that I was indeed overcharged with that unnecessary $3.99 thread fee when I paid for the embroidery to begin with, I was offered in store credit that I obviously didnt want. Eventually after refusing the in store credit I was refunded.The people running this store would be better suited outside pulling weeds... I wouldnt trust them to run a lemonade stand... I will NEVER step foot in this sorry excuse of a store ever again.Moral of the story: Skip the headache and go straight to Bee Seen Gear.
As of October 30th 2021 they are closed due to short staff. I did give it a 3 star though because I did see that hat that I wanted hanging up in the store.
Very very helpful. One of the best stores i went to yet. Very good manners. Knows how to treat their costumers. Good service. Definitely going back again.

Fargo lids always meets my needs I will continue my hats there . I was in a few weeks ago and i noticed alot of ruid people step into this store but the employees hold good customer service sometimes my hat can take a little longer by 10 15 min but I witnessed the machine break thread alot so I understand we cant fight technology errors I love hats and lids
Rude employees. Every time I seem to come around just to look they are on break so I waited to look around in there so looked at some other neat place in the mall came back to lids about 45 min later still on “break”.
Wow, how is this place still in business? Terrible service! I dealt with 3 people to put 2 numbers and 2 letters on a cap. The first was nice but he didnt know what he was doing, the second (Jaelynn) was rude, argumentative and didnt seem interested in being there, the 3rd (manager: Amy) was rude, unprofessional and refused to do my cap a day after I placed the order.
An associate from a different store said “good luck waiting, they’re always on break” I had gone back another day and the hat I bought had a sticker for $6 more than the original Nike sticker
Pretty bad service specially that white Lady manager act like she was running a country, she was full of herself, full of attitude. She doesn’t care about customer feedback, these are the kind of person who are responsible for business bankruptcy cause they don’t give a damn about a customer. Such a crabby skinny Karen.
Stayed outside of the store for over an hour waiting for the cashier to be back. I ended up leaving because he was still not back after more than an hour.
Very small selection on fitted hats. Pretty disappointed in it. The sales person was very friendly but just didnt have any in my size. I traveled over an hour and a half to check them out as I have bought many hats from lids before(not this Location).
