I took in two cabinet doors. I was quoted $50 to glue both doors and told if it would be more that Gail would call me. Two weeks later I call and ask about the progress and get told that they are really busy and if I am in too big a hurry I can come get them. I ask Gail are you always so nice to your paying customers? I Have worked here 20 years she said, Well great but I am trying to be a paying customer and I just want to get an idea when I can get my doors because I am trying to sell my house. She then states she will talk to Pat and see. She calls me back almost instantly and tells me that they can no longer repair the doors and I can either have them ordered or come get them... She transfers me to Pat: The doors will be about $150 all together. Thank you for that info but I can order them from Menards for much cheaper so I will go that route. I then inform him that his front desk girl is rude to potential clients and he says I understand how she is I have known her for a very long time. So my take aways from this almost transaction is: 1. always make sure that Gail writes down her quotes to you because she will lie and change the quote, 2. if you expect any type of friendly customer service go elsewhere, however Pat was very nice. 3. apparently the owners are fine with Gail running customers off no matter what her mood and finally 4. make sure to get a due date before you leave so you dont waste two weeks of your time on unprofessional, busy around Christmas, business such as this! No wonder Floor to Ceiling Carpet did not recommend the cabinet makers in the same building as themselves and why they go to Fargo Cabinets instead!
