Good diverse choices. Sometimes clothing here is more expensive than buying a piece new. On the whole good quality.... And great alternative to rummaging if you work.

If you are buying things this place is great! Lots of options for both boys and girls. clothes are all in great condition; however, if you are selling your gently used items i would say this is not the route to go. If you want to sell your items for a reasonable price use facebook marketplace.

Until recently, I have shopped and sold items at this location. Things have always gone relatively well other than the few minor inconvenience or slight rudeness from either staff or other customers. This last weekend my son and I decided to look for some new toys for him and we did find several things including playdoh toys and the result is this. Several of the containers were near empty and one sadly apparently has food particles mixed in the playdoh. (I would like to mention I had reached out directly to their “contact us” form on their website without a response hence the review) It saddens me that this is what has happened considering I really enjoyed being able to provide my son with more toys regularly from here and kinder kloset at an affordable rate.

Staff are VERY rude. They ask to bring your items neatly in a basket but when you pick them up there just thrown in there. If your basket of clothes is ready for pickup and it’s under other people’s totes, or up high, they don’t even offer to help- even if you’re pregnant. There is always so much staff behind the counter but yet only one working a till. If there putting away clothes and have a clothes rack in a section of clothes you want to look at, they will not move it they’ll just stare at you expecting you to move. Highly recommend kinder kloset as they’re way more welcoming and actually interact with their customers.

I go here often because its nice to save money on kids clothes, but this place is ALWAYS bonkers! The aisles are very tight, and when its busy its hard to shop. The employees do a great job at their social media sites and putting up products that come in!

Stood inline waiting while staff did nothing and werent busy. This company needs help with teaching the younger generation how to do their job properly. Sad how many places are like this. But on the plus side we got what we needed.

Well organized store. I do sometimes feel that their prices are slightly higher and they dont run promotions like other Once Upon A Child Stores I used to shop at. They also dont have much in the way of baby gear (strollers, high chairs, activity gyms) which I believe is due to their limited space. But for clothes, they are well stocked and have good variety.

Got a good price for the clothes i brought in for resale. Tons of clothes were marked down the previous day, which turned our sales trip into a really fun, free shopping spree and I still walked out with $5!!

Found the stuff we were looking for! Our kids are in a weird stage clothes wise and we were able to get tons of clothes that actually fit them!

I wish Id read the reviews on here rather than the website because they dont follow their own mask policy listed on their website. Employees and customers are not wearing masks, there are kids in the store even though their website asks that there not be kids in the store, there are no plastic barriers at the checkouts, and no social distancing at all. I wont be coming back. So much for North Dakota Smart.

I really like shopping here for my little girl! I have found some absolutely adorable outfits for her, some with the original tags.

I would give them negative stars if I could, they are ALWAYS rude, I have never had a good experience with the store. The staff are cocky unhelpful and extremely disrespectful. I only stopped in out of convenience and hope that since its been years since my last visit I would have a better experience. Sometimes you cannot give stores the benefit of doubt. Ive even called and try complaining but the managers are equally as rude and disrespectful.

I rely on this place for decent, low-priced, clothes for my kids.

Needs some of the empty space beside them to hold the volume of stuff in thier inventory, lots of stuff for the really and then older but stuff for older tots is slim.

Walked in, saw NONE of the employees up front wearing masks while being very close together and walked right out. No protective shields at the registers, no signs to wear a mask, just a bottle of hand sanitizer. If you want to get Covid this would be the place to go!! You’d think that since people are regularly bringing stuff in and out they’d at least have the employees wearing masks

Great deals, generally carry what we are needing. Store is usually well organized and clean. Only time Ive ever had an issue was when they were changing over stock getting through aisles but that was just poor timing on my part!

Slightly crowded in Fargo store. Everything is organized but the store itself is too tiny for everything they have and it makes it hard to move around. Good selection of clothes for all ages and sizes! And are decently priced.

More than once I have been in the store and have tried to go back but I cant anymore. Its all due to customer service. The store is well kept I will say, so great job on that. However when I have been here I never get asked for help on the floor, I always have to search a person out. Checking out is beyond ridiculous. Ten minute wait, two people behind me and three other staff working that dont even acknowledge anyone else standing there (but will stand and visit). I finally get to the register and please dont hold your smile back, not one hi, did you find anything ok, nothing...I also have a reward card and have never been asked if I was a member or would like to become one. Also would if I would not like a bag any of the times I have been there. I have been to GF store and unless they have changed it, having the option of not taking a bag gives you an extra point.Many, many store ask you questions, talk to you or even acknowledge you when you shop thats all that would be nice. It wasnt just once it has been many times and I will take business elsewhere.

Bismarcks is more organized and easier to find things. No one greeted us and everyone stood around instead of ringing up the long line of customers. Found good items to purchase but customer service needs some work....

Great place to shop for your littles! Quality clothes for all seasons in like new condition and even better prices! I havent shopped at a retail store for my kids in 15 years! Why would you pay full retail price (MSRP) when you can sell what your kids have outgrown and buy them new duds all at the same place?! 5* rating every time!

We have had two very positive experiences here shopping for our 2.5 year old boy. They have so many clothes that are in good shape and are not very expensive at all.We havent tried to sell anything yet but Im happy to give it shot!

I shop here often and am always happy with my purchase. The layout and cleanliness of the store isnt great, nor is the staff overly helpful, but that is to be expected in a second hand store. If you want spacious room and friendly staff, youll need to expect to pay more at a department store. As far as buy back is concerned, I sometimes keep the clothes they said no to and try another time. Every sales person is going to have a different opinion, and some people dont realize that they probably arent going to buy clothes that are out of season. Overall, I love this store because its a great bang for your buck.

Just sold some items that were gently used and received roughly 50 cents per outfit. Not worth the hour of waiting until they got to my tote to pick through it. Weeks previous to this I bought a 1 piece gown and my daughter wore it once so when I wanted to resell it they refused it saying there should be 3 pieces to it, ha! Where were those 3 pieces when I bought it from them? Not a place I would go to again.

Waaayyy too much stuff packed into a small space. The aisles are so narrow, if theres more than a couple people in it already, you arent getting through. Its just really hard to shop and look through the clothes with it all smushed together and people trying to crowed you out of their way. The people who work there are nice, just too crowded for my taste.

This place used to be a very good spot to get used childrens clothes for a reasonable price. Although, recently the prices seemed to have jumped up to just barely below retail price for the same thing only new. They do offer a rewards program along with buying gently used clothing, but I have moved most of my shopping to purchase a new clothing. It would be nice to see them go back to their original state.

A lot of affordable clothing and baby/kid items that are like new. The staff are very friendly. They give you a fair amount for selling your gently used clothing. Personally for me I have had the best luck with them out of anywhere else in town.

Went in there to look for 3 separate toys I found one at very reasonable price and also found a cute little outfit for my great-niece.. everything is reasonable and looks very good the toys are all clean and as far as I know they work well. I will be back.

Ive shopped here several times for my kids and always find great prices on the items Ive bought. Today I finally got rid of the four huge bags of clothes sitting in the closet and was shocked to be offered over $100 for about half of what I brought in. Such an easy process compared to trying to sell on Facebook sites. Will definitely be back! The staff was super friendly too and even helped me carry out the clothes they didnt buy.

Sometimes it’s a good deal, and other times, you can buy it new, on sale, for the same price or less.If you are shopping with a potty training toddler, please be mindful of the fact that their two restrooms are kept locked and you must ask to be let in. On the up side, if you end up with an accident, you can buy new pants and shoes. Not impressed. Did not anticipate a locked bathroom.

I shop here all the time. My daughter is 3 and i cant afford to pay full price for anything shes only going to be able to wear one season. Buy back isnt going to be a lot of money, but thats to be expected with the sheer amount of product they have to move.The store is quite small, so leave the kids at home or with a sitter if you can, the wait for checkout can be lengthy due to high volume of customers.All the times Ive gone the staff have been helpful and easy to work with.

The staff who work here are not doing this business any favors. I would rather donate my children’s clothes and receive no money than have to deal with the rude people who work here. They don’t greet you when you walk in, it’s just an overall miserable feel created by the employees in the store which I’m sure the ownership is awful or their employees would be more happier. Will not be going back here ever again, total buzzkill just walking in the front door.

I usually find what I am looking for when I need it. They have a great clearance sale and there’s always tons of toys. The only reason I didn’t do 5 stars is because certain things can be over priced. But I will say that there are a lot of cheap things to get instead.

I like the same day drop off but think the price they quote you is very low and then they mark it high. Its good place for convenience.

Love their grab bag specials! They have quite the variety of clothing in various sizes and colors. Not too expensive and things being organized is very appealing and helpful.

My wife likes this place, so I sit in the car while she shops. Storefront is nice.

Once Upon a Child is a decent place to shop. They do have decent-quality clothes. The best bang for your buck is obviously during their bag sales twice a year. Selling clothes to them is somewhat difficult--they are very picky about what they accept and they do not pay a ton.

Great selection of clothing. They overall are a little over priced with some items ($8.50 on used Jeans that I need to replace zipper on) and dont expect any actual decent money back for items you bring it. They bought back about 18 name brand items(Nike, Columbian, underarmour-(3 new with tags)) and I got $6. Their selection is extensive though. Definitely recommend this store for purchasing on the fence for the resale.

I went into this place wanting to sell clothes and when I walked in my first impression was that everyone was gonna be super rude. All of the workers glared at me and then when I asked them a question they were snappy and very, very rude. It was some of the worst costumer service I have ever gotten. I didn’t get to sell any of my clothes and I left crabby and upset. If your looking for a nicer place I would recommend Plato’s Closet or a local thrift store. I will never go back into that store again.

Worst customer service! The individual that I dealt with was very unprofessional and demanding. She was rude and disrespectful to the customers. She was very distraught over items being brought in a paper bag that had no damage to it. She made it seem like the world was ending and made the person stay in the store and did not keep her end of the deal. Will not return after that display!

I have been to many different once upon a child locations and Fargo is by far my favorite location. They have an awesome selection and the store is clean and organized. Very friendly girls working there as well!

Staff is usually friendly, and the store seems to maintain a good selection of clothing and toys. My one complaint is the store itself is way too small. Barely enough room to shop there, so its difficult to find things at times.

Prices for item seems a little high after you know what price they offer for items people are selling them.

I bought some outfits for my daughter there, then when she outgrew them a month or two later I tried to sell them back. They wouldnt take some of the items saying they were out of style even though they STILL HAD THE TAGS ON THEM FROM A MONTH PRIOR.

Not a kid friendly store if you have toddlers. Twice I had a staff member scold my kids. Had several items in my cart that I had to just leave and walk out. My kids were laughing and I guess too loud and she told them to be quiet. And my 9 year old son was in her way to whoch she rudely blurted at him, MOVE! And when he backed up he tripped over a storage tote, fell and instead of asking if he was ok she snaps, Be more careful!

Things seem overpriced for 2nd hand. Sometimes I can find cheaper brand new.

So I went in there to look for girls dresses everything was older not in fashion very ugly something that you might see at a thrift store like a real low in thrift store just wasnt impressed and their prices were high had to move on to somewhere else

The prices are ok, but every time you go check out the associates look at you like they dont know how to run a till and continue folding clothes. Super annoying.
