Kinda weird vibe. Brought my bike in to have a couple things done. Went to pick it up, paid bill and then was told some stuff was done, some wasnt. (Edit tech told me they checked out brakes and they were good, I wasnt told they had been replaced but this may have been just a case of miscommunication) (Edit apparently they were changed in the rear but not the front) Tailght wasnt hooked up and they took credit for mounting it obviously unaware that I had mounted it myself and wanted them to do the wiring and install a gasket). (Edit Ive been told a gasket was installed but I cant see it so this is still unresolved) $185 (edit $145) to have them drive my bike around the block. (Edit, they removed the screws from master cylinder but only ordered one screw to replace one of the 2 stripped screws. I also recently had them order me a pilot screw which I was told would be in a week and that they would call when it came in. A week later no call so I ordered 2 on amazon. They showed up 3 days later but still no word from u motors.My original review contained some errors which I apologize for, but still not a great experience in the end.

We were looking for a pontoon at a local vendor show & the guys from U Motors were the only ones who would even take the time to ask us what we were looking for. Another local group acted as though they couldnt even be bothered. Because of that, we bought our first pontoon from U Motors & last summer traded up to an Avalon Pontoon. Everything from the service to delivery and more has been the best. Nate & the gang there really treated us well. They even came to our lake place (1.5 hrs away) when we had a small issue that was resolved within 10 minutes. When people ask, we say U MOTORS, Ask for NATE!

Bought a helmet and tried to return it 3 days later still in box with tags never used. They will not return anything safety equipment which I understand but I was never told this before purchase. There are no signs with the safety equipment telling you this. The parts department employees did not warn me of this. It is printed on the bottom of the receipt, but at that point you’ve already bought it. Let this be a warning to future customer’s.

We bought our new Honda pioneer 1000-5 deluxe from Umotors on 4-14-2021 we had excellent service from Mike and the rest of the amazing staff at Umotors of Fargo! I highly recommend this place!

Not one to normally leave reviews, good or bad, but I had amazing service at U Motors. Their staff is personable and helpful, they did not have the part I was looking for due to it being discontinued. They looked up the number and found 2 other dealers that had it and gave me their numbers. I ended up with what I needed and will most definitely be purchasing my next SxS here when the time comes.

Our journey began a year ago when we visited U Motors in Fargo, North Dakota while on vacation from Arizona. Tyler was the salesman who we dealt with at the time. Even though we werent ready to buy, he was not pushy or in any way trying to sell us something we didnt want. Since our North Dakota visit, we have done many searches online and in person, but even though we live in Arizona, we remembered Tyler and intentionally went back to U Motors in North Dakota to give Tyler our business. He found other models, new and used, but was pretty sure we werent interested in those and he was right. When he found the right one, he contacted us and had it brought to his store. We left Fargo for two weeks and in that time the extras were added to the vehicle and it was ready well in advance of when we got back.

I came in today because a bolt holding my visor on my helmet had fallen off and was hoping to buy some spares. You guys unfortunately didnt carry any spare parts for my specific helmet but Ben your parts manager owned the same helmet and had one to spare so he spotted me the spare bolt I needed. Just wanted to publicly say thanks.

I went in looking to buy an ATV and was not impressed with the fact I couldnt find a sales person and had to walk and walk around until I got fed up and asked the service desk guy if there were any sales people. After which he directed me to one which back to were I started and then the sales guy seemed annoyed with me asking common questions as it was late in the day and you could tell he wanted to go home and well needless to say I went elsewhere and bought one.

We had a great experience, great staff, the guy that helped us was super awesome I would recommend going here!

Boring store and eat overpriced. Most of all, terrible customer service. Walked around looking for help, while all the employees just sat around at the desk saying we don’t know anything about dirt bike gear, we will find you a salesman. You can get the same items online for a 1/4 of the price...haha

If you live on two wheels, first off, thats commitment. Secondly, youll love this place. Decent selection of bikes and accessories. Their service department is top notch. Always have taken excellent care of me. So hey, if your wife is being a you know what then drive that minivan you hate down here and pick up a bike. Pay cash so she doesnt check the account and kill you for buying a bike. Just tell her its a surprise for her. You know, like divorce papers. Anywho. This place wont do you wrong.

After my bad experience with the service department (see below), the store manager took the time to listen to my concerns and recognized that there was indeed an issue with the services that were done to my items. In collaboration with Yamaha USA they kindly sourced and gave me replacement parts for the damaged items. The work that was done still remains of questionable quality but at least the store does focus and try to achieve customer satisfaction.Original revirew => Over the counter help is great. I always get what Im looking for and prices seem on par. As for the service department Im not happy at all. I removed the forks from my bike and gave it to them for a simple rebuild (seals, oil etc).I just got them back and they are damaged. See the photo and decide for yourself. Note the items were in pristine condition prior to delivery to them.

Bought 4 brand new dirt bikes here this spring and one bike has been almost impossible to start since we got it. When it runs, it cuts out. We’ve been on 3 trips now where the bike has just sat on the trailer because it wouldn’t start.The first time we picked it up from service they said the “carburetor was gummed up from not driving it hard enough” (my question here would be how can you drive it hard when it doesn’t start?) They CHARGED us for that service and told us it was good to go. However, the next day we took it out and again it didn’t start! Now, the service employee says it’s the choke and “the choke system was not connected properly.” Good grief!

I brought my 16 Grizzly in for a 4 wheel drive switch that was acting up. Dropped it off at 9:00 AM and it was done by 10:30 AM. Very quick service! The guys working the service desk were very professional and helpful, thanks guys! Next time I need work, Ill be back!

I bought a new (holdover) CTX 1300 in late November, 2017. I had the best experience with both the sales and finance staff. Here is why:I shopped on their website and found the bike. I called Tyler who confirmed the price and answered a few questions. In a few days I went to U Motors, the bike was on the showroom floor AND was as advertised AND was sold to me at the quoted price. Simple, honest and straight transaction - nice! The paperwork was clear and reflected the agreed upon price. There were no added charges or up-charges. I paid a fair doc fee that I was told about before I arrived - around $75. A few weeks later, after adding a taller windshield and a center stand, I brought a trailer to fetch the bike, Tyler helped me load and tie it down. Thanks to U Motors for a great buying experience.

The worst customer service Ive ever had anywhere. I bought a brand new bike and a screw fell out of my handle bar and almost threw me off the bike, and to compensate me with the dangerous incident they cleaned my bike. Also was missing a piece for my motorcycle and they said since i have the bike in my possession its my fault. Dont recommend this place if you enjoy great customer service

I was getting the oil changed and my chain and sprocket changed out on my 2006 ninja zx6r, They gave me great advice took me out to my bike and showed me exactly what was wrong. The people there remember me so its nice to come in and see a friendly face. Every time I go there I get great help when needed. Awesome shop, will definitely be doing all of my maintenance there.

** Update** They were able to repair it and it seems to run fine now. Moved up to 2 stars which is MEH in my world due to the total lack of customer service on this deal. We get that stuff happens, but we were treated like it was our fault and not even one apology?***Bought brand new jet ski Saturday. Put into the lake at the access and by the time we got it home, (less than 1 mile), it was loud and shaking. Found some packing tape stuffed inside which we pulled out and it continued to shake. Then the steering broke completely off. Returned it today and was told they have a no return policy but hey, we can wait two days for a new steering part. We only wanted to exchange it, not a refund. Hope they get it working and hope its not a lemon. Not impressed at all.

I just got my new 2014 Honda Interceptor. Matt in sales did a great job selling me the bike for exactly what was advertised not a penny more.I have purchased many cars, 50+ and a few bikes so I know when I got treated well and I only have good things to say about this dealership. Plus this was an out of state purchase but with shipping charges the only added cost .Umotors is the rare dealership.

Would rate with ZERO stars if I could.The salesmen there have repeatedly talked me and my riding buddies OUT of buying new motorcycles on several separate occasions.All their parts, clothing, and accessories are exorbitantly priced.The head mechanic is completely incompetent and always eating donuts or smoking cigarettes instead of working in the shop (which is probably a good thing).The parts department cant help you unless they can punch a part number in the computer and they keep NO parts in stock anyway. Everything but motor oil has to be ordered.The last time I had my motorcycle in their shop to get worked on, I made a special point to impress on them that it was imperative the work be completed before my trip in 6 weeks. 4 weeks later, I had not heard one word from them, so I called and was told that they hadnt started on it, but probably would get to it within a week or so. A week later (week 5), I called again and was told it would be another 2 weeks before theyd be able to start on it. I then went in to visit in person and talked to the inept head mechanic. After talking to him, it was clear I didnt want ANYONE in that shop touching my bike, so I hauled my bike home. I had to BUY a NEW bike off craigslist that week in order to go on the trip!!

Stored my bike here last winter. I dont think they have trickle chargers and they dont do oil changes ob Harleys. The deal is supposed to include an oil change. Took several days in May to get the bike out because they have to have a service writer working.

Terrible customer service. Got a better price else where. Was told by finance the place I got the better deal from is not telling me theres a doc fee. Place I went to did not charge a doc fee. Also the 4 year extended warranty I purchased was $50 cheaper. Call around before you make your purchase here.

My experience with U MOTORS started out on the wrong foot when I thought I may not of received the best of service. That was all changed after Nate reached out to me to see what could done differently. After explaining my concerns to Nate, he was able and willing to earn my business. I have bought from many dealerships over the years and U MOTORS is among the best to deal and work with. I would recommend them to anyone.

If they forget to give you your stock part back when you pick up your machine they will toss it and give you a discount if you buy a new one from them. I had high hopes for these guys they seem to do good work but to not give a part back and then make it your problem to buy one because they threw it away even tho they are the ones that forgot to give it to you is bs.

Seriously, does this place even want business? I called for a break in service and they hung up on me several times when I attempted to call them. Before that I went in to buy parts for a Motorcycle and the people who work their act as if they don’t want to talk to anyone. I’m done with trying with this place, the apathy is unreal.

I would totally stay away from this place. Took a little kids dirt bike to have the clutch tightened and the carb gone through. Told me it would be a week. 2 weeks go by and no phone call no update. Called and was told were still waiting for parts. 1 more week goes by and I stop in to find out what was happening. Still no parts. Asked what was holding the parts up and the Service manger and no clue what is going on. Had to tell how to get a tracking number and find out where that package was. It ends up being held in Indiana for a suspicious package on the truck. U motors was to lazy to bother checking on anything. Took the bike anyway because they did tighten the clutch. Lasted to hours and came loose. Took it back to have them try fix it again and waited 3 days. No phone call. Went in and they told me they cant fix it and if they tried it would just come loose. Asked them what was wrong and they had no idea. Asked for a partial refund and they refused. Implied that I broke the bike. The Service manager is totally clueless and should not be working there.

I bought a helmet from here last year. The staff is always extremely knowledgeable, helpful and kind. I would highly recommend going in for any of your motorsport needs whether it be for a machine, apparel or anything in between!

Five star rating for UMotors. I recently purchased a used boat from Bradyn. He was knowledgeable and totally transparent - I waffled between buying private party and thru a dealer. I am so glad I went the route of buying thru UMotors. Here is why. Upon delivery there was a minor issue with the boat that prevented its use. Chris from their service department came over and stayed until 8 pm on a Friday night diagnosising the issue as an oil pressure sensor. He was back on Saturday morning with the part and had us back up and running by 9:30 am. As a team they were totally impressive.....happy to refer my friends and family there.

Bought a Yamaha motorcycle online from UMotors and drove 1000 miles to pick it up. Four or five staff helped me stuff it into my too small minivan. Everybody was friendly and helpful!

Made a deal over the phone for a new Can Am,I was in the office finalizing the deal and the office personal i was working with said I would get 10% off of all accessories for a year,so I bought the cab kit right away.About a month ago I called to get a price on a snow plow and told the parts guy to include to 10% off since it has only been 5 months,he told me it was only for the day of purchase, needless to say after spending over $24000 I was not happy.Called another dealer and he gave me 10% off,they will be getting my business from now on.Will not recommended.

Save yourself the time and dont even walk in the front doors. I made the mistake of purchasing my bike there. Since then I have had my Yamaha there twice. The first time they couldnt figure out why it wasnt shifting correctly. Dakota Outdoors in Watertown, SD (now Evolution Powersports) had never seen my model of bike before and broke out the book and fixed it. The second time was for insurance repairs after some one hit it while parked. They ignored my wishes and fixed it the way they wanted making me waste a 45 min trip down I29.The fact that they have very poor customer service (after purchase) goes without saying...I will never return there for anything.

Horrible. I will never return.The service technician I spoke with was rude and at best incompetent at worst just plain lazy.I needed a new stator and rectifier for my Honda VFR. They told me they could not get the correct parts. A single 10 minute phone call to a different source found me the parts and ordered them. I then called U Motors back and asked if they would install the parts, but they told me I would have to call back another day speak to a manager about outside parts.I installed the parts myself and am back on the road. If U Motors wants to piss away business, I guess thats their perogative.

0 stars. Just a matter of time before they go under. Any time Ive been into UMotors Ive walked without any of the salesmen talking to me until saying have a good day as Im walking out the front doors. One of the days I walked in and 3 salesmen sat and messed around on a pontoon the whole time I was in the place. The most recent time, I went in to buy a new visor for my helmet which is a popular brand they carry, asked the guy at the front counter if they had any, he looked at me like I was stupid and said dont think so so I went right over to wheels and honestly was greeted by 2 salesmen there. Parts guy didnt even need to look up the number for my visor to go back and get exactly what I needed. Yamaha and Honda need to drop Umotors and get a better dealer in the area to take them. There is a reason why Umotors has moved so many times...
