Geek squad got us in early and helped us fix our computer. Most people there are base knowledgeable of computers but dont have tons of people who can answer some of my more deeper questions about programs and ram and video cards. Wish they could. Otherwise prices are ok not the best Ive seen but pretty sure they price match.
I always have a positive experience while shopping at best buy store. And, the Best Buy stores sales teams are absolutely amazing and knowledgeable people in my quests for a particular products and services dated on October 16, 2021.
The store is much cleaner after the remodel, and they have broadened their inventory immensely! I was amazed by all the things they had: sound bars and smart phones, Keurigs and stoves... Anything fun, hip, and new, they had. VERY modern. I was disappointed with the customer service. We had to really look for someone to help us. When we finally found someone, he didnt even acknowledge us and moved right past us. I walked away with a product I didnt like and ended up returning. Not too impressed, but will probably be back since they have so much.
Went there with my Laptop in hand and talked with the geek squad and supervisor to see if my on and off switch could be replaced and they both said it would require a complete motherboard so they took me over to buy a new computor because the motherboard and labor would be well over 400.00 dollars to replace. Quick trip over to the gadget guy in Fargo and 100.00 dollars later switch is replaced and back home with my laptop. WTH geek squad.

Place was clean, plenty of help.. quite busy. I went in told the man at the front door what I needed and asked for directions he got on the radio and had a young man me halfway there. That young man was very knowledgeable. In fact he saved me a couple hundred bucks. Explained to me you dont need what you think you need....you need this and he was correct and he actually down sold me something cheaper. He did an outstanding job.I was very pleased
Always have great service and they are always there to answer any questions I have. One of my favorite Best Buy locations I have been to out of anywhere in the country. They provide such a great shopping environment that makes you want to shop there and shop longer even if it is just looking. They really set the standard in Fargo.

11/07/2018I got the Acer Nitro 5 gaming laptop (when it was the thicker model) at the Best Buy in the West Acres Mall in Fargo, ND. I was excited to get this laptop, only to find that the battery would not charge with the included charging cord. It was a brand new laptop, but it was defective right out of the box. I could have exchanged that one for the same model, but I did not want to think a purchase over $800 was just going to lead to another defective laptop. I also understand that it is an Acer manufacturer defect, not on Best Buys behalf.I then returned that same laptop that same week to buy a new Lenovo laptop instead from that same Best Buy. Bringing that new Lenovo laptop back to my place, I then turned it on, and the fans were so loud, so I returned that defective Lenovo laptop, got my money back, and never got another laptop from this Best Buy. Thus, I am skeptical about buying laptops from the Fargo, ND Best Buy in the West Acres Mall. Really overpriced items for something you think are brand new, only to be defective. That was two defective laptops in a row at this Best Buy and I rather go elsewhere with buying a laptop and/or other computers.
The manager Madison was awesome to deal with. He took the time to make sure that the wall mount for our tv was exactly right. Hell make you feel like youre the most important people in the store. Thanks Madison.
Never disappointed with bestbuy, they always have the most tech savvy devices at good prices! Noticed a lot of open box merchandise for those wanting even better deals if they are ok with some usage! Went to look for some phone cases and noticed selection wasnt too bad but they had nothing for what I needed. A lot of stuff here and there seemed out of stock but I wouldnt be too surprised with current economy and demand. Gave 4 stars due to the clutter of the store especially around the TV section.
I went into the store knowing what I wanted but I didnt know where to find it, within about 2 minutes of wandering around an employee helped me find what I was looking for and gave me recommendations on which product was better and his opinions on the products. Very helpful nice clean store, they should all be like this.
The staff was not willing to help regarding an on line order. The first, the website information given was incorrect, the phone was to be ready in 1 Hour. The phone is not even at store. It will be there in a few days...., 2nd the staff person had to be promoted to find out this information for us and then told us it would be ready in 20 minutes. 3rd, come to find out after asking another staff member that it will not in until some time I August. Wow. I understand that supply is not plentiful. It would have been better knowing that it wasnt there, as opposed to us making a special trip to the store and it not being there. And on another note, I asked a question to one of your staff members as I was walking out and it was a very snippy reply. I was just asking about a condition outside of the store. AKA the weather. Very poor service very poor service.
Bought a brand new Macbook Pro M1. After very little use the shift key kept getting stuck. I brought it into this Best Buy, same one I bought it at. They said they couldnt do anything. ~~~ Best Buy said if they send it in, Apple will take about. 2 months to fix the problems!!! This is extremely inconvenient on a new purchase of over $1,000. They should be able to come up with better solutions than taking 2 months to solve a problem.
They didnt have items in stock that were on display. Also couldnt order it. Why display items you absolutely cant purchase.
I don’t normally write reviews but I just need to rave about the amazing customer service this store has. 2 separate times I had to go in and deal with my charger and my dysfunctional laptop. Everyone was so kind and so knowledgeable, if you need a template for customer service just look at this store🙌

I wanted to make an appointment with the automotive department for installation of a remote start for my vehicle but the operators could not get me transferred to the right department and I kept getting stuck on their automated system or placed on hold. After an hour of this, I decided it was time to take my money elsewhere.
Went with a friend to get him a laptop. He had a good idea of what he wanted and so I was expecting our trip to be quick. It took a few minutes to find someone to help but once we found someone; I wish he would have been wearing his name tag! He was amazing! He showed my friend several different laptops and they worked out the questions and specs. He made his choice and it was quick going from there. We were both offered the Best Buy credit card and while I was approved for one with a yearly fee. He let me know to call the company and ask to be switched to the regular card to avoid the fee! Im still waiting to receive it but thats my plan! He also gave me some quick information on AutoStarts since my car did not come with one and I plan to have one installed! Will definitely shop here again and hope to use this gentleman or my brother in law, Luke, for help again!
The people are great. Often when youre lost they will come right up to you and help you. Dependending who you are though. This might annoy you. For me though its quite nice.My only gripe is how empty the place feels. The places inventory and selection of goods feel neutered compared to back when Best Buy was in its own separate building. There is even a section on the floor so wide and empty, it was a little off-putting. All in all though. Good location!
The sales associate Logan was very friendly, and knowledgeable about the items I was interested in. He took the time to explain what my options were. He said I should come back to him if I had any questions or concerns and what days he worked. I left feeling very satisfied that with his help I had chosen the right products for me. Logan was very helpful and an asset to your store. I had been there before looking and other Associates werent as friendly or as willing to help me find what I was interested in. This time I was impressed with the customer service!

The place is big and clean, and has a lot of generic tech, but if youre searching for something specific you might be hard pressed. They dont carry any VR equipment other than the Oculus Quest and thats a fat disappointment for anybody looking to get into quality vr.

The staff was quick and courteous. I was done purchasing a new refrigerator and had it scheduled for a delivery in under 40 minutes. I had them add an old appliance haul away to everything, which took a few extra minutes due to my location. I had my new refrigerator sitting in my kitchen only 3 business days later. To be clear, we bought a unit that was under 5 on purpose.
I was looking for a second gen Apple pencil. The guy behind the counter was super friendly and quick to help me locate what I needed.

I tried calling this store because I was looking to do some business with them but wanted to check stock before coming in. After getting through the horrid automated message at the beginning of the call (I understand this is a corporate thing), I sat on hold for 10 minutes before hanging up and trying again. I am assuming conditions in the store must be similar to world war 3 if no employees are able to get to the phone for 10 minutes. Looks like Ill take my business ELSEWHERE!
I have had good experiences from this location (Fargo, West Acres) in the past but they recently charged me for something I should not have had to pay for. I have Apple Care and Best Buy is an Authorized Service Provider for them. A Geek Squad employee charged me $200 for something that was COVERED under my warranty through Apple Care, even with her being aware I had this. If you go here, triple check all your warranties, what they cover and have them explain why they are charging. I almost got looped into spending $1,500+ dollars for a fix that my Apple Care warranty covered FOR FREE.
Had to bring back my laptop, only to find out. That charger they told I needed to place was not the problem. The power port connection needs repair. So sold a charger that I didnt need and add to that disposing of my good. O, they gave me store credit for the one that they sold me.Ok, lets see went to them with the problem. Result, I now have laptop which still has a bad charging port and I dont have a charger. But they could send my laptop away to be fixed. It will just take 4 to 6 weeks. Not what I can a repair service.
Didnt have what needed even though the said it was on stock on the net. Rude young man was annoyed I was even there. Shouldnt be surprised Its best buy a store that expects you to order everything and take time to go there. Give up Best Buy just have one warehouse in each city. Your stores are a Just in Time inventory hell.

Entering store today i asked door greeting desk about DVDS and if by chance if the store had radio antennas or cb radio antennas or the cable for these types of antennas and he im sure had no idea what i was talking about considering he was maybe 18 and I was 60. Way before his time.

Whenever my wife and I have an electronic need, this is where we go. The employees are always nice and helpful, and its nice that they check out your stuff wherever youre at in the store. I dont know how Best Buy compares on price, but we like being able to actually see what were buying beforehand, and the people are nice and helpful, so we dont have any plans to switch stores.

Layout was a bit confusing, not like other Best Buy locations Ive visited. Its connected to the mall now so thats nice. They had a good selection of electronics and value games, etc. Staff was surprisingly non-intrusive, unlike in other Best Buy stores Ive visited. Overall it serves its purpose, but a lot of stuff is just out of stock or not there (namely, graphics cards and Pokemon TCG).

Most of the employees have no clue where things are or what they have on hand. They refer everyone to their website. If I want to order it I wouldnt bother going in to the store. Employees will tell you, this is not my area, I dont know anything about these products because its not my area. Then they sometimes just walk away. Some will try to get someone that knows to help you. It is hit and miss there. Nothing is usually in stock and they have to order it online for you. I miss the old store where they had a better supply on hand and more choices. It seems like most of their stock is going online. At this point I might as well buy my electronics at Costco or Sams club. It is a shame what this place is coming to. They have a great manager and some good people that have worked there for years. I hope that they can turn it around before it is too late.

I told him what I was looking for and my budget and he pointed me in the right direction! So far, Im happy with my purchase and I had a great shopping experience there. Havent been by since they first moved into the Mall. Lots of rearranging since then. I guess I kind of dig the set-up, definitely a learning curve to figuring out where stuff is. Didnt notice any department signage, which would be helpful. But to be fair I could have just missed it if they were there. They were out of the item I was looking for and didnt have much for comparable alternatives, but that could easily change come truck day. Will be looking into their selection again, for sure.

It was simple I had to get something. The front foyer was equipped with, hand sanitizer, SM,MED,LARGE,EXTRA LARGE. BOXES OF MASKS I walked right into the store went to the Department totally mind I wanted and immediately walk back to the warehouse and came right back with what I needed and I had searched online for this specific product and no one had it except for Best buy and the employee that helped me his name was Charlie what a wonderful person and a wonderful experience. Its located in West acres on the east side of the mall. Thank you so much Charlie! You made my day!

Found exactly what I needed when I couldn’t find it anywhere else. Love the selection, slightly pricey, but they do have a lot of open box/display items that are priced lower so that was really cool.
Phone system needs work and is a huge deterrent to shopping there, especially during a pandemic when I want to confirm inventory and procedures before heading into the store. It won’t even let me sit on hold to speak to an associate about purchasing a new phone. Tried 3 days in a row and was met with “our associates are experiencing higher than usual call time. Please call back later.” Then it hangs up on me. Please have better phone service during a pandemic when I don’t want to head into your store with questions unnecessarily.Curbside pickup works great, but when inventory is low, it’s be nice to have verbal confirmation that a product is in and to answer any questions I have before purchasing online.

Just bought a new refrigerator here last month. The order process went very smooth and it was scheduled to be delivered 10 days later. The delivery was very quick and efficient. About 1 week after delivery we noticed the price had dropped $600. ($600!!!) We went into the store and they did a price adjustment right away. They were very happy to do the adjustment and encouraged us to monitor prices on all items we buy through Best Buy. The will price match for the same item, even if they price match their own price. You cant beat that.

With the new store, comes a new attitude. Staff eager to greet and help you. Roomier space allows for less crowded displays areas with larger appliance and tv areas. Not real keen on the darker look of the store...an attempt to mute the ceiling so more attention and light is focused on the displays.

The staff are very nice but its a bit of a gamble on non-iPhone accessories that they have. I have a Samsung and I had a hard time finding a charger twice there but ended up just buying a much more expensive one in store. Im very happy with my purchase. However, they did have a good selection of cases and dash mounts.
A lot of the hanging placeholders were widely inaccurate regarding what section you were in. Also, no LaserJet photo paper is a bummer.

I had to have a gift card checked for amount left on it which I did not have to wait long in line to do so that was nice. There was a gentleman who helped me with some of the sound bar options. The one I had ultimately chosen was marked on the floor stacked in boxes from the black Friday weekend. I was ready to take it with, it was a good sale, and I had a gift card. What a great day! No. The salesman informed me that the sale marked had ended yesterday and the tag was incorrect and it was almost $100 more.... Now, I work in sales and when human error like this has occurred in my experiences, we always give the customer the price that is tagged as it is not their fault. I left today feeling a bit salty about this. I understand sales having expiration dates but if it was tagged this price, thats what I should get it for.
Do you need an oven a roaster or a toaster? How about a smart watch or a big screen or a flat screen. iPods airpods or apple TV? They have it all. Step inside you will find something that you cannot live without. I walked in looking for the New Foo Fighters album and walked out with a brand new Microwave Oven combo! And the staff will definitely help you spend your hard earned dollars!
Item availability that appears online is not necessarily connected with any form of reality. The website may say an item is available but when you get there they say it is not. Also, the website for my store says curbside pickup begins at 10 A.M. while the app says it begins at 11 A.M. When I try to call the store to confirm which it is, I encounter one of the most inept, weird, automated phone systems I have ever experienced. You cant just say, Hours -- if you do, the voice will say, Youre looking for a part, right? If you say Curbside Pickup, the voice says, Lets try this a different way. LOL... Yes, my different way was to hang up and go to Home Depot.
Best Buy took money from our gift cards and canceled an order on November of 2020 and still hasn’t credited our gift cards. We have called, chatted, emailed and they continue to lie about our credit going back on our gift cards. We are out $150 and we’ve been told since November of 2020 it needs to run through a billing cycle. It’s been several billing cycles and Best Buy refuses to do the right thing and credit our gift cards. We’ve been waiting since November of 2020 for them to fix this and they are incompetent. Or intentionally stealing our money.

Dont even bother trying to call them to get help. I received a remote start system as a gift and had free installation for purchasing through Best Buy. I tried to call and make an appointment and sat on hold for over 30 minutes after dealing with their terrible phone system. Youd think an electronics company would make it really easy to call and get help but apparently not.
Cole helped me out when I was looking for a new TV for my PS5. He pointed me in the direction of a fantastic LG and I couldn’t be happier. Cole was an absolute pleasure and I can’t compliment his customer service enough!
Guy at the home theater department couldnt be bothered to get up and help me. Then lied to me about why he couldnt help me, then had to call someone to verify that he couldnt help me.This store should be avoided at all cost.

Pretty big place to shop, only reason I didnt give five stars is due to the lack of staff to help each customer. I sat in front of a case with storage devices for my computer for like 15 mins or longer and no one came to help. Staff is extremely busy due to the ratio of customers to staff. Place would be alot better if they would hire more staff. Your attached to a mall u know its a busy environment and thats a shame. Other wise stuff was easy to find.
