Every year When I play in a hockey tournament in town, between my games I stop at forget me knots. I love consignment stores and this one it’s one of the best I’ve been to in Maine! They have fantastic name brands, like J.Crew, the loft, Kate spade, Columbia. In my opinion,Their prices are not incredibly cheap for most items but for what you’re getting there reasonably priced and if you’re able to get an item on sale then the price is even better obviously. The staff is very friendly and welcoming & the store is very clean and well laid out.

As far as consignment stores go this one is pretty good. I didn’t have a big selection for me but I did find a few things. I always like to look for pocketbooks or wallets or shoes in places like this. I’m sure only a consignment store is a lot of work. They do pretty good at keeping the racks stocked up with things that people want

Great consignment shop. Ive purchased and am consigning there for the first time. I wish they would have taken more of my clothing but, I imagine them being so particular gives the store its edge. Clothing there is unique & quality. Well organized and decently priced. Ive always been treated nice and tell people about the store. Its one of the better consignment shops in the area. Stop in and Im sure youll find a few pieces you love!

I have been shopping at Forget Me Nots for close to the 10 years I’ve been living in Portland.I’ve always been impressed with the obvious care that has gone into choosing the quality and selection of the clothing offered.I find the atmosphere in the store to be quiet and non stressful and the staff helpful if you need them.It’s a great place to go when you are looking for something or just to browse!

I have been a consignor and customer for many years. The shop is beautifully merchandised, clean and organized. The staff always welcoming. The 50% consignment rate is more than fair and they sell most of what they are able to take from me. I am always happy with my credit and enjoy shopping in the store!

Rather a boring shop. Needs some updated displays. In addition if anyone reading this is a plus size lady dont even bother, the clerk told me to check at the end of the XL rack....really!! Time to update and provide fashion for women of all sizes.

I always find great items and find myself continuing to go back to look for more!

Nice clothing but not-so-nice atmosphere. I have visited Forget-Me-Nots on several occasions, and Ive consigned there a few times as well, but every time I enter the shop, whether it is to shop or to consign, I always feel like Im interrupting the staff, or Im putting them out. I dont find them welcoming, friendly or accommodating at all. And the shop itself feels a bit like a Goodwill thrift store - clothing not very attractively displayed, hanging on racks like a nondescript warehouse. I recently visited a consignment shop In Yarmouth that was LIGHT YEARS ahead of Forget-Me-Nots in so many ways - clothing, jewelry, shoes and accessories attractively displayed, the walls were painted an inviting, soft color, there was lots of natural light coming in from skylights, and most importantly, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and extremely helpful. Forget-Me-Nots would do well to take a lesson from their Yarmouth competitor, who has won me over, for sure. Sorry, Forget-Me-Nots, but in my mind youre already forgotten.

Its like a GoodWill store for toys, you never know what theyll have. Seems like an ok place to stop by and get a few things for the kids.
