Love this store! My husband and I dropped by last weekend and I found my new favorite jeans and necklace! I Had been to their store in Hyannis Year ago but moved away and hadn’t been back in a while. The falmouth store is beautiful, clean and staff was helpful. I’m tall and a little heavy after pregnancies and They had my size. Also the jeans are such good quality and just the right amount of stretch. I also wore the jeans out twice and got compliments both times. I’m sending my stepmom again next week to buy me another pair in fact bc I’m so obsessed. Wish I lived there :)

Great clothing and accessories that you wont find at a big box store. Good selection of American made goods. If you want they do a great job of wrapping.

When people are getting gift cards for others from the Falmouth store they should tell you that it cant be used in their Mashpee store.

My experience with Port Cargo was an unpleasant & bloody one. Odd, for a retail clothing shop, I know, but true. My review is not based on the merchandise - but rather on the staff, the store decor & their resolution of a problem which, in fact, DID involve blood.I had high expectations when I visited my family in Falmouth the weekend of the towns Christmas Parade. Locals know that the shop is on the parade route & this is where my group of 7 stopped to view it. We had every intention of shopping in Port Cargo after the parade, I liked that the merchandise I saw was either made in the US or in Canada.Outside the doors to Port Cargo were decorative urns containing lovely greens- including branches of holly which had been inserted into the base in individual stalks which were sticking out at least 6 inches to a foot outside of the circumference of the urns. Our grand-daughter discovered that holly has sharp edges when some scratched her face above her eyebrow, drew blood & got caught in her new hat. My husband cut his finger when trying to assist in her escape. One branch, 2 victims, lots of blood. He left with our granddaughter to get BandAids & I moved my grandson to a safer side. Rather than have the same thing happen to someone else, I moved some of the most dangerous holly from the base of the urn to the top of the display- trying to maintain aesthetic continuity but putting the sharper branches up & out of harms way.Let me point out that this wasnt a holly bush-no, it was an evergreen with individual sticks of holly branches placed haphazardly around the urn. ALL of the holly branches were positioned simply by sticking them in between the other greens- not secured in dirt or in foam. Know this also: other people must have bumped into the display (with hope- without the accompanying bloodshed) because some of the holly was just defying gravity, hanging upside down- stalk side up & some was also on the ground. So while I was making this safer, I was also putting this display back together. (in the crowd, one eye on grandson, waiting for group to reform so we could LEAVE- as the parade passes by...)Heres where an employee joins us outside. She does this angrily & reproaches me for daring to meddle with the holly branches. She grabs the stalks Id moved to safer position & pushes them back to where they had been sticking out- where theyd already drawn the blood of my loved ones. I tried to explain that it was too crowded on the sidewalk for the holly to be sticking out that way & I asked her if they could remain where they were until the parade ended & the crowds dispersed & THEN put it back however they liked - but she muttered something about he doesnt like it moved! Whohe was & why he wouldnt be concerned for public safety? Ive no clue. This woman never acknowledged the hazard or my grandson who told her about his sisters cut- no. What she obviously DID do after making this scene - was go inside to complain about my meddling of their precious display. How do I know this? Because other staff members came outside to give us dirty looks. How did I know these were not their regular faces? Because there WAS a parade going by. The looks I got from the staff were pointedly different, ugly & directed. At me.Blood had been drawn. The sidewalks were crowded- they were 5 to 10 people deep. And this group was giving ME attitude because I dared to rearrange their hazardous greens?Port Cargo is not going to miss my business, thats for sure. But think about the sort of people working there that are so completely clueless about what really matters when the words blood danger & temporary fix didnt even register. If they treated me that way- how are they treating someone who dares to put a sweater back on the wrong rack? Or someone who dares to ask a clarifying question? But HEY! At least they were the guardians of the precious Port Cargo greens!! (and in doing so - they lost any chance of E-VER getting A-NY of mine.)
