I was in buying colored hair dye and after purchasing saw that it was a white creme instead of a pigmented one. I walked back in and asked the sale woman if that is how the product is supposed to be(normally when I buy this brand the creme is the color of the dye. Not to mention the last time I bought this exact same product months earlier had the same white creme problem. Emptied the whole tube out and not a single thing of purple pigment was in there) she was super patient and listened to me giving me suggestions on why it’s white(she’s the reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1). She offered to let me speak to a manager, to which I unfortunately accepted. The manager says the dye is in the bottom of the tube, just empty the whole thing out. I mentioned that’s not what happened last time I bought the product here. And she responds with “maybe just don’t shop at THIS Sally’s then” I’m not even trying to return the item or anything, just trying to get some answers. I literally said “I understand I can’t return this item since I opened, I just don’t want to feel like I’m wasting my money on a product that might be faulty” and her response was to point of my boyfriend waiting “patiently” for me to leave. Maybe I won’t shop at this Sally’s.
This store has the worst customer service. I was trying to purchase items and the price was different than what the tags stated. the row was full and I was told someone must have put them in the wrong spot. I asked well show me where they should go and she didnt know. Ridiculous! Both sales associates, Rosa and Jennifer were incompetent and when I stated I wanted the manager name so I could talk to her the next day about the situation as she wasnt there. They said they couldnt give me her name. I called another sallys and they were able to give me the name. What I went through was unnecessary.
November 28th, 2020 at 12:22pm an extremely incompetent female employee decided to leave me on the phone for 5 min while asking customers if they wanted to check out and for various information. As a customer I heard other customers phone numbers, addresses, club card numbers, and other private information while waiting. SALLY’S BEAUTY should be aware of employees asking customers to wait on the phone for extended periods when that customer was first and the information that can be gained due to negligence.

Came in trying to redeem my birthday rewards and the lady helping me out told me my rewards doesn’t show up on her computer. I showed her I had been sent an email which showed the barcode, she says “weird..” and then called over someone to help her, I’m assuming the manager, she told me I couldn’t use it because someone had already used it. I explained there’s no way because I just made a rewards membership a few days ago, hence why I was there trying to redeem. She basically said “well nope, sorry”. Terrible customer service. I can definitely take my money else where.
11/24/19This stuff is the best stuff I have used to remove ingrown hairs and razor bumps. It also reduces the itchy razor bump feeling too. This is an item you can buy at Sallys Beauty Store.This stuff comes it to forms of a liquid. The first one comes in a bottle where it pours into your hand(s), cloth or paper towel. I have used this product until I came across option two.Option number two is the roller ball. You dont have to touch the liquid with your hands and you dont have to wash your after touching the liquid. This ball moves easily across whatever part of the body needs treatment and works fast.Now, here is what is not said about this product. The stuff does not have the best smell to it. In fact, the stuff stinks, BUT IT WORKS WONDERS. You put the stuff on in the morning and night to help remove the unwanted bumps. You are going to wear this product outside, I highly recommend doing it one to two hours before going to do something in public.The only side effect I have seen is some dead skin peeling off...in this case my face. A little exfoliation in the shower helps remove the dead skin in the morning or night and youll be fine.I cant tell you how many males I have seen with nasty looking razor bumps or ingrown hairs that dont seem to go away. I plan to give one of my family members a roll on stick to help him with this problem. I hope he uses it. It will help him a great deal. Now they say this product shouldnt be used with an exfoliant, but after 8 hours of this product being on, you should be fine if you do once and a while. Consult a doctor for a second opinion if you must. Came yesterday (Friday) at 4:30 pm. When I walked in there were two women behind the cash register. I saw an item I liked and asked if they had it in any other sizes. They both said no. A minute later I walked to the section across from the register and saw the item in another size. I grabbed it and turned to politely say “by the way you guys do have it in other sizes.” Thinking it would be helpful for them to know since they do work there after all. They just looked at me blankly, which i didn’t mind. However, after I went around the corner I overheard them talking quietly about it...saying things like “yeah when she said that that’s why I just rolled my eyes...I was like it’s not that serious.” Needless to say I’d rather spend my money somewhere else. If you can’t appreciate a customer trying to give you information that you should know after standing in the store that you work in for hours—then you shouldn’t be working in customer service. It’s really not that hard, especially when the customer is polite. I could’ve chosen to be loud, rude, and irritable.
I wish I could give them a zero star! My only complaint is that the manager and staff, who were extremely rude and disrespectful. They asked me to leave the shop while I was on the phone with Customer Service trying to get an approval for the exchange of item in the store. Because it was 6pm and they were rushing to leave they literally kicked me out with my baby in my hands instead of helping me to resolve the problem. I will never give my business to this store anymore!!!
Today was the second time for me to shoppe from Sally Beauty.. the store manager was so helpful and friendly she helped me to find what I needed and she explained to me everything about the items that I bought from them.. also all the associates were so nice and had a good costumer service
Hello,I went today May 12 to the Falls Church store around 3pm. The lady in charge was really rude with me I was looking for a hair color. I was not sure of the name of the color. I told her I want something to make my hair darker. She was ironic and really impatient with me. I thought she would guide me or offer me options. I just left really cause me incovinience..
I went to return a trimmer, and the manager ask me if I had used it, I said yes, than she said, “you can’t return it, only exchange it, and the trimmer will go in the trash.” She said she couldn’t even return to the manufacture...like seriously!!! But before I left one of the employees said to the manager that a person had to return a trimmer and the managers response was “oh ya he didn’t used it!!!!” Then she said to try something that was way more expensive when I have to put more money so I said “why should I buy it if I have to put more money and you’re saying I can’t return it?”...no response. Honestly I wouldn’t waste time nor money in that store anymore. Terrible management and bad supplies.

I go in April 2nd on a Saturday night, 15 mins before they close. (Yes I was one of those customers). Just needed to some minor things. One associate by the name of Kenya/Kenia was very rude, not presentable and in all impatient trying to close shop. My boyfriend and I were surprised to even get this type of service from a SALLYS beauty supply store. I call to complain, the store manager she was really sweet, took down my info and asked me to find the receipt from when I visited the store. Couldnt find the receipt, and didnt even get a follow up call or anything. So in all thank you Sallys for being an IN-convenience beauty supply store.
Gosh the manager trisa is so rude. She knows Im customer all time. Now i had two little items to return and the employee was doing her job checked the two separate recipe and was doing the return. She jumped in and pulled recipe outta her hand and she said no we didnt charge you for this item. And i said i talk to you the few past times i was here during these past two weeks and i purchased those in two different days. And shes like no no no . She acts so unprofessional and rude. I had to pull back the recipe again put of my bag and she hold me for few minutes just saying noooo noooo nooo. Like an stupid. Just look then open your mouth. And im a regular customer always talk with her when I come in. I didnt expect this horrible behavior from her.

Very bad service !! If you are Latino they guard you throughout the store, buy a trimmer andys and it was defective. I asked for a change and the manager didnt change it. She said no because the trimmer worked but the problem was the battery charging system that failed.
