They refused to help my wife who needed her second shot. We both lost our vaccine card in our move. I went down there to get my second shot, no problem they printed out a back up card for me, and gave me my shot. Then when my wife, who is black, went in to do THE SAME THING, they refused. PLEASE HELP MY WIFE GET HER SECOND PHIZER SHOT, PEOPLE ARE DYING AND MY FATHER IS UNDERGOING CHEMO TREATMENT!!!!

If I could give this store negative stars I would.1. Drive-thru— ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS an issue. There should be one person SOLELY on drive-thru, this person should have no other duties or responsibilities while on drive-thru. Last night I witnessed them tell a customer 5 times they couldn’t find her prescription but would keep looking. I was in the lane next to her. She rolled down her window and told me she would leave because she was so mad, but had to have that prescription. It held up the line for 45 MINUTES. While they were looking they didn’t even bother to get started on my prescription. Then the woman working the drive-thru proceeds to tell the customer that she had to help with the customers INSIDE the pharmacy. UNACCEPTABLE. The problem is these people know they have you because they know you need your medicine. There were more than 8 cars lined up and many of them just left out of frustration.2. They never seem to have ALL of your prescriptions in stock. You will get a message saying you have prescriptions ready for pickup. Then when you arrive to pick up the prescriptions 9 times out of 10 there is going to be an issue with at least one of your prescriptions. They either will not have it in stock at all, only partially in stock, or some other major inconvenience. I have been asked to sit and wait for over 30 minutes only to be told they can’t fill it after all and will now need doctor’s authorization. They never tell you this in the first place.3. Two words. Customer Service.This is only the second time in my life I’ve left a negative review. That’s how strongly I feel about this review.

This store is very inconsistent with their service. I’ve been coming here for years, but the last few months have been a nightmare dealing with the pharmacy and my prescriptions. Some of the senior staff are great, especially Mrs.Odom. But these are my last days here, till my insurance changes for the coming year. My current insurance only covers my prescriptions if I go through Walmart or Walgreens. I changed my insurance plan which I have had for years (20+) because of the numerous problems I have faced from the staff at the Fairview location. I should not have to suffer as a patient due to your staffs incompetence.

This Walgreens in Fairview Heights filled our glucose monitor prescription wrong, giving us only the reader and forcing us to buy an additional sensor. When I first called bringing the error to their attention I was told we could return it, but the following day when we attempted to return it, the Pharmacy manager decided to tell my partner that it could in fact not be returned even unopened and unused, because according to her, the prescription was not incorrect, unfortunately for her, according to all doctors involved, the prescription was in fact filled incorrectly.This is not the first time that this Walgreens has filled a prescription incorrectly, and I have no doubt that it will not be the last time.If you choose to use this pharmacy, make sure you check every bag and prescription before you pay.

I only go to Walgreens to get my prescriptions filled because its the closest pharmacy to my house. However, I dont understand how they stay in business. The pharmacy is horrible. They never have scripts ready when they say. They dont ever read the refill instructions. They are constantly changing their process for getting a prescription. They are not friendly or accommodating to their customers. Their text message for script notification is like spam. Their app is not intuitive nor does it work well at all. I cant say enough bad things about Walgreens.The app didnt work for me because my information was never verified, so I called the number provided to see what happened. The lady told me I had 3 accounts and that she was going to merge them. I instructed her NOT to do that and to send me to a supervisor because i wanted to understand how I was able to have 3 accounts. She said ok and put me on hold. I was on hold for an 1 hour and 40 minutes. When I finally hung up and called back I found out that the rep merged the accounts and that there was no supervisor available. Needless to say I beyond furious with this company, its app and its people. I wouldnt recommend any part of this company to anyone. I will take my business elsewhere as soon as something else becomes available.

This is an excellent pharmacy for people who need ongoing medication. They call my aging parents to remind them when their refills are due. They also get ahold of doctors offices for refill requests when the prescription has run out.In addition, they always make sure to have her medications in stock when they know she will need a refill (unlike the less expensive pharmacy that she switched from a number of years ago).They have consistently done this for many years. I just didnt think about it going above and beyond until a friends parent just had an issue due to having had medication run out a few weeks ago and they had struggled to get ahold of anyone in the doctors office for a refill and ended up being admitted to the hospital through the ER (with first responders involved).So, this is a very important service, especially for aging people on multiple medications.

If I could have given 0 stars I would have! While waiting in line, they were discussing my prescription and the cost amongst each other! I could hear every word, its 400$ for the medicine because Meridian wont cover it I cant believe someone would ever pay that much for medicine She must have very bad acne *chuckle* (it was an acne medication that I was supposed to pick up). I knew they were talking about me because they also said today was the last day I could get my medication due to its restrictions. Then after hearing them trash talk me, I went to the window and they told me they dont have it in stock. That was it. I actually came to fill this prescription a week ago, and they never told me they didnt have it. So after 7 days, they revealed they dont have it in stock and it was a computer mistake. I didnt know what to do, I just wanted my medication. So I asked what to do, they said call your doctor I guess and sent me on my way. Never will I ever get a script there again!! Do not go here! They are unprofessional and rude!

Zero stars would be better for the pharmacy!!!! As busy as this pharmacy is, it is always grossly understaffed!!! This is ridiculous........waited over 45 minutes to see if another pharmacy has the medication that this one does not have!!!! Always extremely low or out of medications!!! Good grief!!!

Well text e-mail and everything else they can do to say oh it done it done come get it then when you do it well give us some time and we will get that filled why did I mess with the text e-mail and all that if you dont even fill them get you head out of your you know what so people Dont get paid by the hour like you when where in line or drive thur and hour there not paying us its called do your job I have to everyday now I know why there shutting stores down makes since will save me a few years of my life off of the waiting in lines thanks for saving me more time with family by going elsewhere

Had to get a flu shot in a pinch for school, got there at 8:45 on a sunday. It was free with my health insurance and i was home by 9:15. Pharmacist didnt use Z-track method, therefore minus 2 stars for this specific encounter.

My review is 1 star purely for the pharmacy. I just spent 7 days tying to get a prescription refilled that they said they contacted my doctor several times. My doctor has no record of this. At the same time..my second refill took 4 days to refill. My doctor said they responded in the morning of day 2. When i called..on day 2, a lady named Christie was very rude and did not seem to care. When i called back..Same person still rude.This is the umpteenth occurrance of poor service at that pharmacy and i hope it is the last time i use them. My pharmacy business is going elsewhere.The rest of the store is great. They have excellant customer service. Too bad the pharmacy brings down the score!

Theres not even words to describe how terrible this place is if there is any one you care for stay away. Shawn, from a manager to a manger I now know why this place has terrible reviews keep up the terrible work one day youll realize how important customer service is and hopefully no one will ever treat the same way you treat your customers. I get it nobody wants a career in your job but if your so miserable why make everyone else come down to your level. I cant understand how you can treat people like the way you do I cant believe your considered a manager prayers for you and any body thats close to you #makeAmericagreatagain

I was just at the Walgreens clinic in Fairview due to acquiring poison ivy on a camping trip. The check in nurse was very pleasant but the nurse practitioner was extremely unhelpful, rude and just plain snotty. Lady its your job, stop working there or put a damn smile on your face and help people.

Picked up a prescription antibiotic today. There was no indication on the bottle to take with food. Needless to say, I got sick. Called and spoke with the pharmacist on duty (wish I could remember her name). She was VERY rude, stating she told me to take the medicine with food.. Well, Im sick and didnt remember AND again it wasnt on the bottle. I was told they can only print what the doctor wrote on the script... RUDE...and I am angry with how she spoke to me. Horrible customer service!

This place has a medical staff that needs to be fired. They Cant even do simple math. They dont care about there patients. They create a problem and expect the customer to fix there mess up. If you care about your child then stay away from this pharmacy.

I needed to get 4 vaccines a month ago. And I got 2 from Walgreens and 2 from CVS because Walgreens didnt have the other 2. They told me I could just walk in, but they made me wait an hour once I got there. Which is fine I understand. I told them I need this for immigrants documents and I need to show my doctor that I got the shots. So they gave me a receipt, told me to make a copy before giving it to anyone because apparently its important. Well i went to my doctor today and show them 2 receipts, one from Walgreens and the other from CVS. Only the one from CVS worked because they had the vaccines lot number and expiration date on there and the one from Walgreens didnt. They basically put just the vaccines names on there which is worthless. I called them and ask them to fax it to my doctors office, and they said they dont do that. I have to go in and get it in person. And they dont care that these 2 places are 40 minutes away from each other neither. I asked people at my doctors office to call them for me instead and when they called, Walgreens said they dont have me on their record. So I honestly dont know whats going on and what I should do now. But I know for sure I will never come back to Walgreens because one thing they know how to so is screw you over.

I avoid this store if possible. I only went to pick up a prescription for my husband and was treated like a drug seeking addict. It was just a antibiotic ear drop.... Very rude, not knowledgeable about medication they are dispensing. Staff not managed well at all.
