Drove from Edwardsville to get my husband a particular gin for his birthday that I couldnt find elsewhere. I appreciate that the website lets me know whats in stock and its location within the store. The store was clean and organized. We used to frequent the Total Wine in Lexington before we moved to the area so its nice to see high standards met throughout the chain.
They have great prices and a great selection. Worried a little bit they will run other locally owned business out of business so please consider that when shopping.A great option to find something unique from time to time though.

Booze at good prices but some of the curbside delivery folks dont seem too happy to bring orders out to cars. Dont really appreciate the dirty looks but I have a daughter that cant get vaccinated yet and a wife who has a compromised immune system. And since the general public is too self absorbed to wear a mask to protect those people, I will continue to do it this way... dirty looks or not.
I recently went to the Fairview Heights location and had the best service I have ever had when buying spirits. Christopher was extremely knowledgeable and didn’t try to up-sell me some outrageously priced bottles when I said I wanted high end options, but instead showed me hidden gems that are often overlooked because they are so affordable. I was extremely pleased when they were actually as good as he said when I got to try them. I Will absolutely be returning and will continue to utilize Christopher’s knowledge.
They have so much here. the great thing is, the store is overwhelming but there are plenty of people around who you can say Im looking for Bordeaux whites and theyll take you RIGHT to them and even recommend one. top notch selection and employees.

We lived in the Bay Area and were super excited to see Heretic being sold here. It was a local beer, brewed in our small town and we hadnt had it in years. Just another reason that we love Total Wine.

Quite the alcohol selection with everything from wine and champaign to liquor and coolers. Prices are very affordable and they have options for buying beers in a choose your own six pack. The staff is very friendly and will help you find exactly what youre looking for. They also have a rewards program so its definitely worth, especially for those new to drinking and looking for new drinks to try. 10/10 will be coming back!

Great selection and great communication with emails. I can check online to see if something is in stock before I head out. Staff have always been friendly. Only knock is that they keep rearranging the beer but theyll figure it out. Also pet friendly and they always are so welcoming to our pup. Thanks for letting me know you got hopslam in! Some years it is a struggle to figure out who has it in stock.
Ive given Total Wine multiple chances, as their selection marginally beats Randalls Wine and Spirits. The past three times Ive went in Ive left annoyed and disappointed. First occasion: cashier did not know how to ring out the single cans. Waited in line, without exaggeration, 15 min waiting for a manager. Second occasion: I was overcharged 6 dollars. Final offense: tonight I went in to purchase three cases of beer and seltzers. I was denied the purchase because of the group ID policy. I am literally 30 years old and my partner is well over the legal drinking age-- we explained she forgot her wallet at home. My frustration with this policy is that there is no sign posted nor is it consistently applied. I have never once been in and had the cashier request IDs from both of us. Also had the policy been posted I would not have wasted my 20 min perusing the store. Thank you, Total Wine, for exhausting the patience of an easy-going Midwesterner provoking my first ever negative review.

There selection is amazing. This trip i was looking for a particular brand of juice that they do not carry. Over all the staff is helpful and nice. Ill be back to fill my wine bar.

Upon walking in, I was not greeted. However, when a Caucasian couple immediately walked from behind, they were greeted. This was disappointing, from my experience with Brandy. However I did alert the manager Brian I believe his name is, in which he said he would take care of this issue with his employee. The manager introduced me to the wines I was looking for. However, it was pretty busy, so it felt rushed. Upon check out, I had the nicest experience. His name is Drew and he went out of his way to ensure I knew how to sign up for rewards. All in all, it was an okay experience. I will be back again on a weeknight it’s not busy, so that service is stellar across the board. Overall, I purchased black girl magic wine. Excited to taste. Thanks total wine !

They almost always have what Im looking for. They are fairly reasonably priced. The staff is always friendly and professional, and very knowledgeable. There isnt a huge selection of certain products (like sake) but they do have liquor from all over the world. I recommend that if youre looking for something that cant be found locally, you check this place. I was looking for a certain brand of gin that couldnt be found at all the usual liquor stores, but Total Wine had it. I was very happy. Also sign up for their rewards program. You get special coupons and discounts. They do regular tastings a couple times a week too.

This store is well laid out with specific aisles for wine by region and type, whiskey and bourbon by brand & tier, and other spirits in equally individual sections. A Monsterous beer section takes one end of the store. Efficient checkout stands are helped if you have a reward number associated with your purchase. Did I mention they have LOTS of wine? Lots! 🍷🤗
Every time I visit this bonanza of booze, my eyes bug out at the selection. My selection overload is eased by the managers favorite tags. My cartload grows beyond my expectations, but I am always pleasantly surprised by the grand total at checkout. If you buy the Box-O-Wine, make sure to keep track of your intake for the evening....Dangerous! :-)
Absolutely the best experience I have had at a liquor store ever! One of the best customer service experiences I have received anywhere hands down. I was looking for a special edition item that was very hard to come by. After speaking with CHRISTOPHER MARTISZU several times over the phone and visiting the store once over about a months span I was finally able to get the item! Christopher never got tired of speaking to me and always took a few minutes to check the status of my item.....thank you thank you!! Also a special shout out to DAVID HAYS! He was very helpful and knowledgeable in making some wine suggestions (particularly Rose!!) and we had a very nice conversation.To the owners/managers of Total Wine......you have 2 world class employees!!

I stopped into this location on the evening of 9/23/20 after an appointment in the Fairview area. I came in for 2 items; I was able to obtain one of the items & gain some insight on the details of another product from the staff. Everyone was friendly until I made it to checkout.Melinda, as my receipt advises, was anything but courteous. She seemed bothered that she had to stop cleaning registers to check me out.In addition to her lack of friendliness, she just awkwardly stared at me throughout the encounter...so much that she didn’t even attempt to bag my items until I requested one to interrupt her long gaze 🥴 Customer service is an area where a minimal level of self awareness is needed; I wholeheartedly wish her the best on gaining some.

This is a great place to stock up on all of your favorites or find something new. The one thing I really appreciate about Total Wine & More is that they separate their beers by type. I am always on the lookout for a new sour beer (my wifes favorite) to bring home. I have always found something new to try everytime I visit.

The one and only place to go for spirits and bar stocking. $15 fifths of Jack Daniels. 22 for a handle of Beefeater gin. You cant go wrong at a place that has a massive selection, exclusive brands of their own, and brand name favorites all at 1/3 less than even a grocery store liquor aisle. Wont buy a bottle anywhere else again.

This place is a Candyland for weary social distancing adults! Their curbside pickup is efficient and quick. Then when you venture into their store you will continue to see their efficiency is highlighted by the stores organization and professionalism. Their aisles are wide, clean and well labeled.
