They are obviously in desperate need of help, as so many other businesses are. There was 1 person cutting fabric and 1 person at the registers. After waiting an extended period of time in a very long line, a 2nd person showed up to work the registers. Wish they would open a store in Edwardsville, which is in serious need of a fabric store.

Usually have good experiences here, but they’ve been ‘temporarily closed for cleaning’ the last 2 times I’ve tried to shop at this location.

Of the 3 workers we came in contact with, Kathy was,by far,the most professional and the kindest. Carol, however,is the rudest worker I have ever encountered in any Jo-Ann. She needs a different job.

Easy to find what I was looking for and product on sale. Checkout person was extremely helpful with using my app for coupons and rewards.

Yarn selection is great. Curbside service needs work, but not their fault - they seem to be under staffed. Workers were polite though.

The help was nice, the waiting for fabric cutting for one person at the counter wasnt worth it. I put back the fabric, I wont return to do my purchases.Sad to say, not enough help. Ask why at the checkout, he told me only three people work at a time.Poor management, he or she should have been taking care of customers.Battery power clippers would be faster than using dull scissors as well. They arent expensive considering the customers leave.I spent more time at Joanns than the rest of our shopping today.

The store is under staffed and hot. They only have 3 employees at any given time. The lines for check out and the cut counter back up fairly quickly. The store has no ac and was told that corporate in Chicago controls in.

I stopped by to pick up a couple of yards of fabric for a project I was working on. Thats all! 1 hour later I finally got checked out! I had to wait in line to get my fabric cut and then wait in line to check out. DO NOT GO THERE ON SUNDAY!

Nothing like going in to use a 50% off coupon, only to be told you cant, because the item is already on sale, for 50% off! Now Im buying 2! Great selection, clean store, friendly staff; whats not to like?!😃

Honestly, I would give them zero stars if possible. Most of the times the store is haphazardly put together and a little dirty, but as an avid crafter, I still go. Until today. I was called out and made fun of for being a religious minority at the fabric counter, who treated the lady before me just fine but accused me of lying and berated me about my project. Things only got worse as the worlds rudest cashier treated me like dirt and refusing my coupons. Left the store crying.

Nice store, tons of everything, but checkout was a nightmare! Ugh

I love this store but something is going wrong. The floors are covered in dirt, smears and stains. The bathroom had an over flowing sanitary napkin holder. It and the bathroom stink. I went there 2 weeks ago and again today and the same dirt smear is on the floor between the cutting area and the thread. If possible, the floor is dirtier than 2 weeks ago.

Staff was very polite and helpful. Inventory on what I wanted was slim.

Wonderful craft store, with a great & varied selection. They have helpful staff, especially in the fabric department. Since I have been shopping here, I have gotten 2 coupons with my receipt when I check out. One coupon is 50% off one item & the other has been 20% off you entire order. They keep me coming back!!

Store prices are ok, compared to the competition and nearby arts and crafts stores.Went to return an item, explained quality of materials seemed cheap. The lady did not like my comment and literally took the item and dropped it on the floor when laying it aside rendering completely useless. No manners at all, and as she did that rolled her eyes as she typed on the register.It was only ONE item, less than $14, I have receipt, purchased the day before, was not used and in fact was cheap quality. Why the attitude? I have never seen staff throw an item on the floor before. Usually they will have a bucket to throw it in, but not just slam it as if it was trash. Something about it, really made me upset, but I clenched my hands and moved on, almost call management to ask what was her deal.NOTE; take advantage of their online coupons, and if you download the app or subscribe additional coupons can be acquired.Also, when scanning using the app already shows the sale price. At the store it said buy one and two free Christmas decorations. W app showed $3.00 (basically for online purchases so do not mix), so common sense tells you each will be after all a dollar. When took item to cashier, it was $10 for one item and two free. The app price is for online buying, store has their own price.It is not like Target app or Walmart app, same price be it store or online.

Great selection of fabrics at decent prices. I wont be back until after the pandemic ends, though, because they arent enforcing mask use and this place has become an anti-maskers paradise. Several customers in the store today were not wearing masks at all, and the last time I was here, an employee was using hers as a chin strap.

Joanns is a place where you can find anyThing you are looking for and much more. It is friendly from management to the employees. They go out their way to assist you and they always have a smile when you come in and go out. You can see they are hard workers and the managers are very efficient. It is a great craft store.

I have to say when I first started going to Jo-Anns I kind of felt like there was never enough help. If I have a question I couldnt find anyone to help me. But Ive been going there for awhile now and hands down it is one of the best fabric stores around... they have the best deals. I almost never go anywhere else. I even kind of find it easier to get assistance now, And them doing curbside pickup during Covid....I have to say ... I probably spent more money that way. Great job to all the employees at the Jo-Anns in Fairview Heights.

The staff was very rude. I spoke with 3 different employees and every one of should by not working in customer service. I would give no stars if that were an option. I will not be returning to this store.

I usually wouldnt say anything but the girl working on fabric this morning with black short hair was very shortwith her very little help that she did reluctantly offer. We asked for help finding a pattern and she first said idk there are books. They were located relatively close by. No one has ever act liked they dont want to help. We will just go to our home town Joanns we wont be back to this one!

Used to be one of my favorite go-to stores... After stopping in today and seeing so many people without a mask on even though there are huge signs on the door saying it’s a state requirement, I won’t be back or support this business until the pandemic is over or they enforce the mask policy.

Well stocked, not crowded and friendly (masked) staff. Will return.

Like the variety of items. Would be nice if they could have more than one check out lane open when there are more than four customers in line.

This place will not honor their prices or theirmistakes fabric had 30% off of original pricebut still charged 25% off of price they said price signs were in the wrong place they should honor what they have for sale instead they charged us the 25% off price any other place would have honored their mistakes not to mention their workers have no knowledge of fabrics how to cut fabrics or how long to keep their fabrics before it dry rots just plain sad people should not shop there until they change the way they do things and their policy towards customers

Incredibly rude staff. Good selection of products but prices too high and the staff is incredibly rude. I spoke to three different people including the manager and couldnt get a problem resolved. No attempt to help me whatsoever.

Although I understand things are different now, I dont think there is any excuse for the way theses curbside orders are being handled. I placed an order ten days ago, waited 3 days and never heard a word, called and was told most orders take 3-4 days. After seven days I called again and as told they were working on orders placed the day before mine. Waited two more days and called again to be told they are still working on orders from the day before mine. There have been no updates from the website, no way to check on the status without calling the store. Overall a very disappointing experience from a company that one would think should be large enough to handle online orders.

You cant beat beads for 60% off. I havent been in this store in over 2 yrs. Now that Im making jewelry again I will most certainly be back soon!

I tend to love Michaels just because the staff enrages a bit more and the process seem more reasonable but, I enjoy Joanns also. They take competitors coupons so that does help. They dont have quite the floral options as Michaels but in turn they have many more fabric options. Good store to visit that is organized and always has a nice clearance section.

I LOVE JoAnn fabrics. I miss having one close by. This is a very pleasant location. People are really nice. My real complaint is finding prices. 😭. Stuff was marked down by sticker colors. However absolutely no sign was around with what discount you got. I had to wait in line at fabric cutting table to ask the percentage off. Then I had to remember as I looked. Very disappointed with that. Lots of stuff on sale but again not marked. 😣. I wish there was one close to me. We have nothing without driving over 1/2 or more away.

The fabric cutting staff are always able to answer questions or find fabric that is unusual. The lines are long at check out, but it really moved along.

Great selection of sewing fabrics, and some other fun things, but I feel like so much space is taken up with overpriced season JUNK...and the line to check out is ALWAYS wretchedly long! Its frustrating to shop there, carefully make your selections, them have to wait for 20 minutes in line. Ive had to abandon my selections on a number of occasions out of frustration or time.

The store is huge theres so much that they have I could spend all day there. However....I went for two specific items they have online... But not in the store

Saturday after Black Friday, so it was crowded. They had a lot of deals on fabric so there was a 20 minute wait to get a cutting. Busy, Busy! Tis the season! Great selection, but there were a lot of boxes in the aisles, and stuff like that makes it have a less than stellar feel. Again, Im sure that is just because of the holidays & hustle/bustle.

The experience I had at the store was very pleasant. Everyone was helpful. The cashier, Kathy, was particularly helpful.I do wish the website was more user friendly. Far too cumbersome.

I was dong a DIY project. I needed a shiny spray paint. I ran to the store, picked up the paint, downloaded the app and got a coupon for 40% off. The lines were short fortunately I was in and out within a matter of minutes. Also this is one of my favorite stores I can spend hours in the store looking through the pattern catalogs and the different Fabrics. I often spend my Saturdays looking for bargains and crafting things.

Has a great selection but is a tad on the pricey side.

I love Joann stores in general and this location is great. Its bigger than some I have been in and definitely the cleanest. The staff have always been very friendly to me and helpful. My only complaint, which I know is not their fault...the checkout line is almost always extremely long. All around though, I enjoy coming to this location.

This is a great store and the people working there are nice. But they always need more employees. The lines are longer than they should be from lack of manpower. I hope they are hiring like crazy for the holidays!

My favorite place to shop for fabric. Sales on patterns, fabric, paints, wood boxes, cake making. Coupons galore. Get their app. Oh, I forgot jewelry making. Youll love it. Went there looking for Christmas crafts...like material that you make Christmas pillows or a stuffed snowman etc etc...all their Christmas material was all together which is a good thing but not organized...so I ask if they could tell me how I can find what I was looking for and the young man behind the counter was very nice but had no idea so I asked him if they had a book I could look at that would tell me what Christmas craft material they have...well he didnt know so he talked to someone with his head set and all they said was no we dont have a book to look at... the problem I have is there was at least 5 employees there which 4 I actually could see one I could here when at 8:30 she made the announcement that the store was closing in 30 min and we need to take our items to the check out...I didnt get to the store till 8:00...because I just came from the gym. I realize the store was closing in a hour but in the 1st 30 minutes I was there not one associate even asked me if I needed assistance..I just think this was poor customer service....wont go back but will go to the one down on 159 just to see of it is any better...

If I could leave 0 stars I would, worest customer service i have ever experienced. I placed an order for curbside, that was around $80, and 2 days later gotta an emil that part of my order was available and that they had canceled one of the items I ordered without my permission because they messed up and didnt actually have it. So, I called to ask if they could order it or get it from one of the two stores in the area that had it. They said no, they arent ordering stuff right now and they already cancelled it, so they cant get it from another store now, but I could pick a different kind of trim and they could physically check for it while I was on the phone or I could try to order it again from one of the other stores at about a 45 min drive for me. I am so furious, you would think they would want to do there best to keep the customers who are still ordering stuff from them while there stores are shut down happy. Im not asking for a lot here, just get me the stuff I ordered and paid for, I understand mistakes happen, but fix it and get me the stuff I ordered. So unbelievably rude and such bad business practices. To lazy to call a store 20 minutes from them and coordinate getting a product they had already sold to a customer.

This store has a LOT of polyester blanket/throw material, but only bits and pieces of that which I sought. This, despite their devices showing there was plenty of this material, somewhere, unknown. It remains somewhere, unknown.

Found what I needed friendly staff not overly busy

My family and I were there and the manager and check out staff were not only rude to us, but to the customer ahead of us.The cashier instructed the customer ahead of us to, Next time, have your coupon loaded on your phone prior to reaching the checkout.The entire experience was worse than weve ever experienced. Soft skills trainings are in order to better serve the customers who simply come to get supplies for projects that often help them to relax.

Wife says this store is bigger than other Joanns that shes shopped. Her big complaint was the items were not marked on sale so when she checked out her coupons didnt work, and the cashier wasnt very personable. Overall she liked the bigger store.

Cant ever get help must be a skeleton crew.Even other customers were rude. The elderly cashier was superb.

Their cuddle fabric is extremely high quality and durable and their other fabrics as well. The only issue I had was with the employees. I didnt have a very good experience with a worker while I was getting my fabric cut. Its somewhat noticeable that I have anxiety because I get/look pretty nervous in public (I order most my fabric online but joannas has really good and unique minky!). Once I got to the fabric cutting counter I told the lady when she asked me how much I wanted I said one yard please then I had to repeat myself because she did hear me very well and I could understand that and I didnt mind her asking me to repeat myself. What kinda bother me was the remark I got afterwards which was, You need to speak verbally, Im not a mind reader you know and I felt as if that was really unnecessary.

Curbside pick up was wonderful!!

The people here were beyond helpful and knowledgeable about their craft. I was looking for fabric to make blankets out of and also to have a cloak made for me. The staff there helped me with issues I didnt know would even be issues. The woman who helped me took special care to even trim off the words on the side of the fabric for me, which, had I tried to do it, it would have been a mess. I will definitely be coming back next time I need fabric!
