I am in another state trying to help my parents with computers issues. Matt place several calls to explain what was failing and why and how to repair in the most cost efficient way. This business is run by dishonest people with no sense of accountability. At the beginning of December 2020, they purchased a computer from me online, presumably so that they can resell it for the holidays. As a computer reseller myself, I have nothing against someone buying my products for resale. I do however; have a problem with people who are dishonest and disrespectful.The computer in question that was sold was an entry level gaming computer. Nothing fancy at all, but I wasnt asking for an exorbitant amount. Shermantic Computer Services purchased the PC which was sent out with a double layer of bubble wrap and more bubble wrap inside to secure the cooler and graphics card, two components that have been known to be problematic during shipping.Within a few hours of receiving the computer, I was greeted with a return request on the selling platform that I was using. With no communication at all from the buyer. Upon messaging them, Stefanie claimed that the PC was dead, no lights, no power. This struck me as odd, every PC that I send out is thoroughly tested prior to shipping and is well protected.The selling platform that I used accepted the return request under the grounds that my item was not as described. Upon receiving the computer back, I was greeted to the most disrespectful treatment of my item. For starters, the PC was packed in newspaper and leftover scraps of bubble wrap. There was no attempt to protect or respect my computer. They damaged the RGB strip that was included in the computer by ruining the adhesive on the strip. They never did return the power cable that was included with the computer. This could be overlooked if the computer actually arrived dead. For example if the power supply or something had failed inside the computer. But this was not the case, the front panel wiring has been rearranged by Shermantic Computer Services so that the computer would not turn on when the power button was pushed so that they could claim that it was dead on arrival. This is a computer repair store that intentionally opened my PC, rewired it, and then falsely claimed it to be dead on arrival! This claim is substantiated by pictures taken before the computer was sold and after it was returned. Putting the power button in the correct spot made the computer work again. There was absolutely nothing wrong with it. This business simply thought that it didnt have the profit margins that they wanted, so they falsified a return. This is absolutely shameful for any business to do.I was nothing but pleasant and accommodating to Shermantic as I would be to any buyer, but their lying and disrespect put me out of my time and my money. Do not take your computer here. Do not buy a computer from these people and do not trust them to touch anything!

At first I would give them a 4 or 5 star review, I had them build me 2 gaming pcs. Between both of them I spent over 5,000$ my one gaming pc started blue screening, took it there they couldnt figure out what was wrong with it. Said it benchmark fine. Well I just recently started gaming again and it still would freeze or blue screen, I called and asked a compatability question and completely gave me wrong information and led me to believe the part I was looking at wouldnt work. I was lied to and I dont think that is professional. I gave them 2 stars cause they did refund my money because I was a loyal customer they said they dont do refunds. Will not be back.

I looked everywhere to get my son’s Nintendo switch fixed, Best Buy and game stop both flat out refused! Shermantic was the only place even willing to help, it took a little while to get the parts, but the guy there was very accommodating and kept me informed every step of the way! I will definitely be back!

I recently purchased a refurbished laptop, brought it home and the motherboard fried. Took it back, they diagnosed the issue, and then just gave me a better model to make good. I would definately recommend them for their customer care.

Owner seems great but the one heavy set employee that works in there doesnt have any customer service skills n just seems annoyed by your presence like hes got better things to do. When I commented on his unprofessional behavior the owner contacted me apologizing.

BEWARE: they only have one clerk left. He is a liar, he is dishonest and barely competent. I was a Mac tech before I retired and I have gone to these people for PC help. They have taken laptops of mine and returned them in the same shape as when I brought them in. Because I couldn’t seem to get my laptops fixed, I purchased another from them. It was defective. After about a week the Windows license expired. They did reinstall a new copy, but I keep getting messages that it needs to be verified. Then in another week, the battery went dead and couldn’t be charged.I also had taken them an external drive with all my backup files. The power input was damaged and they said it had to be sent off. The drive had worked perfectly before I jammed the input. I literally waited months. Then they admitted they couldn’t find it, but they insisted the files were all corrupted. How did they know this? They didn’t. They lied. I had to pay $80 up front, but no refund. They finally found a lesser refurbished drive and that was all I got. Lost my files, never got my original drive back.As far as refunds...I had another laptop that fell off my bed and the screen cracked. It was $200 to get it replaced, so I asked for a cable to connect my laptop and a separate screen. The fool clerk sold me one for $15, but when I got home I discovered it wasn’t the correlation cord. I don’t live in Fairmont, but two days later I drove back in with the wrong cord. The clerk didn’t have the correct cord and he wouldn’t give me my $15 back. He said, no receipt, no refund. I said but you sold me this only two days ago. He remembered me,but still refused to give me a refund.If you take any computer to these people, you will deserve whatever happens to you. Only later when I told friends, they said everyone knows that place is dishonest and no good! If I could give less than one star, I would.

They definitely dont answer the phone the way ANY business should. After hearing the horror stories from this place I was reluctant to even call them. Somewhat relieved they didnt have what I was looking for, considering their reputation and customer service skills.

Both the staff and the owner were friendly and efficient. They repaired a shattered iPhone screen and a broken DS quickly, the latter for free, very quickly. Before and after the replacement screen arrived, they prevented further damage with screen protectors without charge. Importantly, they accept old computers, printers, etc. for repurposing/recycling (again, for free). Im grateful to have them in the community and will return if and when (heaven forbid) I run into computer troubles.

I had a friend try to fix my laptop, finally had to bring it to someone that possibly can fix it, i had a hard drive failure, after that all kept going wrong. i called, and Justin on the phone was pleasant . i brought it in in the evening, Justin had it fixed and running the next day. and it was a reasonable charge. well worth getting the laptop back that i liked.

I called and told the guy that I was desperate for thermal paste and asked them if they had any. The guy said yes but not for sale individually. In other words I would have to have work done to get any, which I did not need or want. I told him I was desperate and asked if he was serious and if I could just buy a bit. He said no. He was not friendly or helpful at all. It caused me a lot of problems.

First of all, let me say that their new technicians are first-rate. Justin was very helpful, very well trained, and knowledgeable about high-end computer equipment. I have purchased more than a few systems from this seller, and let me tell you in the past year their quality has went up exponentially. They stand behind their equipment, their work, and their brand. I got a system that is ultra-fast for Less then the cost of a cell phone. To anybody that has a computer issue, problem, or needs a solution that requires technology, I wholeheartedly recommend Shermantic.

The bottom line is, these people are always very sweet and respectful, and a lot of their reviews are fake accounts or people trying to bring down their rating for no good reason. Theyre a wonderful business, and I highly recommend them to anyone having trouble with computers or technology.My dad and I have had kinda mixed experiences here, but none of it was ever their fault.He has a 20ish year old Mac, and Ive got a ~5 year old Toshiba. They tried and tried to fix the mac, but the thing just wouldnt take. So, instead, they got my dad a different, used one. It works perfectly now.I believe the issue was that the graphics card wouldnt solder on well. The toshiba had an issue with the operating system, so they backed it up, reset the thing, re-installed the OS, and then put all our data back on. Plus, they didnt make me feel embarrassed at all whenever I came in with our printer that the cat knocked a pop socket into.They also sold me the computer Im typing on now, a Dell that Ive named Hawthorne. They upgraded the RAM for me, and did something else to it that I honestly cant remember. But basically, even though its not the perfect computer, it was only about 300 bucks for a computer that would be sold at Walmart for at least twice as much.And its worked wonderfully for me. Its usually taken longer than theyve said it would, but then again, weve come in with some odd cases, and stuff has gone wrong multiple times.Theyre wonderful to work with, and Id really love to go back and ask them what other kinds of laptops they might have for sale. Hawthorne is a good computer, but he doesnt hold up very well for programming stuff. Which I had no idea Id be doing until months after I got him.So basically, theyve been very good to my dad and I, and I highly recommend them.

I broke my laptop and they were able to fix my old one and also sold me a refurbished one that was an upgrade from my old one for a very reasonable price compared to the retail price of that computer brand new. It has worked well for the past three years!

Traveled here to visit family over thanksvgiving. My cell phone screen broke and the only place i could find was here. they replaced it the same day and charged less than anyone at home. I might not be back, but only because i have an entire country in between us. Wish they had more places like this one in Arizona

I walked over one day to get my computer looked at when it wasnt turning on. They walked me through the process of trying every little things such as checking the charger, and the battery and sure enough it worked! They screwed a loose hinge for free as well! Friendly, local, knowledgable place to go for any of that.

Bought a used laptop on 7/14/17.Clerk lied about battery life. Told me it would last up to 8 hours but it only lasted about 15 minutes. Unit spent over an hour removing a virus and kept popping up with notifications it had more.Took it back less than 24 hours after purchase and they refused a refund. They offered to fix it but it was supposed to have already fully passed their inspection process.Very arrogant in my opinion as well.Took the pc to Best Buy and traded it in at a significant loss.I will NEVER deal with these arrogant people again!

Took my daughters tablet in for a power port problem. They installed a new USB port in a few days for a very reasonable price. Also their free ecycling service is much appreciated.

Another company told me it would be 3-4 weeks to get my lab top repaired. Shermatics fixed it for a reasonable price in 4 days! I appreciate their service and will be a returning customer for all my future pc repairs.

Took my pc to these guys a few years ago. It needed a power supply. The girl called a couple of days later to tell me it was ready, and quoted the charges; $72. When I went to pick it up that evening, the girl wasnt there, and the guy quoted me $120. I told him the girl had quoted me $72., and he said; it cost us that much for the parts. I said; I didnt bring that much with me, and he said; how much do you have?, and then took all that I had. They loaded it into my van. I came home to jump on the internet, and...they had failed to put the modem back in. I had to take it back for them to put the parts back into it, and then they said; no charge! A few short weeks later, the pc went down completely, and when I took it to the Geek Squad, the man said; whoever put that power supply in, put in the wrong one, and it was not powerful enough to run the machine properly, thats why we cannot recover your data.I filed charges against them, but of course nothing came of it. If I could give them a minus ten stars, I would. I certainly would not take ANY ITEM to them for any kind of servicing, and cant imagine how they have stayed in business this long!As for Stephanies reply: This is PRECISELY how you do business, otherwise it wouldnt have happened. Why on Earth would I give you a second chance to screw it up even more?! A professional repairman told me what you did, and it goes hand in hand with leaving parts out of my machine, and quoting one price and then demanding another. You and your business SUCK, and people need to be aware of that. How in the hell are you still in business?!!!

They misdiagnosed a problem i had,the owner recommend a new hard drive..he took it to the back and did some kind of diagnostic.I asked will that solve it for sure ?...yes..... we guarantee it he said.So I spent 270 dollars and it didnt fix it, the original symptom is there.I think they knew this but because they had spent money on a part they tried to jerryrig it back together, when I picked it up they were updating the OS and it crashed again,I have since learnt MacBooks have a problem with AMD chips switching that causes the crashes and needs a specialist to re solder it back.I seriously doubt they didnt know that !Its a second laptop that the family uses and I let too much time go by to tell them the problem still exists ...so they pulled the its been too long card contact my lawyer and hung up on me.IF you go here get it in writing whatever they say and go back before the 30 days

DO NOT EVER GO THERE! Went to get my computer worked on and when it wasnt fixed, the owner Aaron Ashley took my computer and punched the screen out of it with his fist. He is very violent and definetly has anger issues.

Aaron Ashley trolls around on Facebook groups and complains about people he doesnt agree with by slandering them and their businesses over the internet. He also uses fake names and fake identities under many different names including Mandy Martin and David F. He slandered my business, The Vac Shack in Festus, MO. by posting fake reviews on yelp and google and a few other places as well.

Terrible experience. I took my Dell 14 Inspiron touch screen to Shermantics in Fairmont to get my cracked screen replaced. I am a college student and went to Shermantics because it was the quickest and cheapest option. That was my first mistake. I did not read the reviews for this place and I regret that now. My screen is in worse shape now than when I took it in. I have been back there on numerous occasions to have them fix things that they broke on my computer. The screen is now falling out of the frame and the hinges are broken and one is missing. I have been decent with the people there but on my last visit I had the misfortune of meeting the owner. He was belligerent and insulting to me and my family. He also told us that we could talk to his lawyer if we had a problem and promptly told us to get out. Their slogan is when we work for you, your computer will too but that is a lie. My computer is worse off now and I had to deal with the very rude owner. Just wanted to save people from my mistake. Please pay attention to this review and take it seriously.

Good decent little place had alittle problem but the owner took care of it

Do not ever take anything to this place they will steal parts from your computer and act like they lost them. what they do is use them in someone elses computer. The owner will goto Walmart and buy external hard drives and pull the hard drive out of the enclosure then take it back with a bad drive. Had problems getting money back for a part I got from them, called the owner answered and said that the owner wasnt there..guess what I was out in the parking lot seen him go in.
