Torrey’s store is a breath of fresh air amongst the world of fast fashion. Unlike a typical clothing store stuffed to the brim, there is wide open space to take in the quality of her handcrafted clothing.Each piece has a story to tell through its fabric and Torrey is there to tell you its history and how it came to life. I greatly appreciate the hand finished detailing on the clothes I’ve bought there and the time it took from fabric selection to completion.

I am a follower of slow fashion. I appreciate fiber and fabrics for their connection to people and the planet. Needless to say, I love and appreciate not only Torrey’s commitment to making beautiful, one of a kind garments but her humanity in doing so. Each garment has a story. From fiber to hand woven fabric to mindfully designed and stitched finished product. The end result is something to be worn, cherished and gifted to others. In buying her clothing, you are enabling hand weavers and dyers and seamstresses to continue working in a creative way they love. It’s beautiful on you and for the planet.

Okay, yes, so Im reviewing family, so excuse the bias. But I have a few things that I can objectively say are awesome about Torreys work. First of all, shes given me a bunch of the hand woven fabric that she collects in India. Ive then taken this to my personal tailor in Singapore. The resulting shirts are amazing. Light and durable!From another standpoint, my wife, has a few of Torreys outfits and swears by them.
