I had some issues with my Honda. It was making some weird noise turned out, my starter was going out, and just needed some TLC Vince was the guy that helped me out, and he was so good. He even gave me an oil and filter change free of charge!!! I was hesitant to come because I’m always worried I’m gonna be taking advantage for, but this shop was so affordable and friendly! Our 2012 Chevy Tahoe was running sluggish and felt like it would hesitate when accelerating. We took it into Fairfield Transmission. Having a vehicle down at any time is not ideal, but it is especially not good during the holidays with all of the running around and festivities going on where we would need this vehicle. Vince at Fairfield Transmission treated us like family! He was upfront and honest about what could be the problem and the approximate costs involved. As it turns out the third gear clutch assembly was worn out and our transmission needed to be overhauled. We left our Tahoe with Vince on Monday and on Friday the same week we were able to pick up our Tahoe! Our Tahoe runs great now! Thank you Vince and Fairfield Transmission!

These guys did great work, they worked on my Cadillac and they took no shortcuts. they even went out of the way to fix things that werent in my transmission just to make the car work perfectly. They are fantastic and very respectful and honest.

2000 Z71 Tahoe 4x4 original transmission finally gave up after 200,000 miles. Took it in to Vince and he took care of me and my Tahoe. He stands by his work. Glad I chose this shop to do the work.

Took my wifes 2001 Rav4 with computer-caused bad tranny in, $3500. Warranted. Back to dealership and they added a computer but took it out for a hard test-drive first, screwing up my tranny again. Took it back and this guys fixed it again, no charge. 4 years later, no problem at 200K+ miles.Just called and picked his brain on a problem tranny on a Mercedes 320 and he was more than willing to give the different things that he could do, suggesting I sell it quick if I just got a full service. $3-$3800 to rebuild.Was honest and more than willing to help me after 5 years.
