Not really for hobbies or crafts. Half the store is ready made seasonal, trendy cheap decor. Very little items for actual hobbies and crafts but it does have yarn, clay and canvases.

I was looking for an affordable store to frame my art work and family pictures. I hit the jack pot at the Fairfax Hobby Lobby! Way more affordable than the others and great quality frames. Trevor in particular was exceptional and was the reason I came back to frame 6 more pictures. Thanks Trevor! You were awesome and committed to your work. See you back again soon!

I was so overjoyed when they opened this location. Its huge and theres a ton of stuff! I mainly enjoy browsing. The cashiers dont seem too happy to be working there, but I didnt really expect anything more than that. I was a little disappointed that when I went to the back of the store where the frames are to inquire about a custom frame, I didnt see anyone at the desk. Ironically, not even a minute later an advertisement for their custom frames came over the speaker.

Sandra is an amazing cashier and even offered an idea to support the art projects.

First time in a Hobby Lobby, very impressed with the sheer volume of stuff! Lots of sales, and they had everything I was looking for. There were many employees, all courteous and helpful. Ill be back!

A large variety of items for craft/DIY/sewing/painting, etc. Looks somewhat overpriced; looks like some of the items can be found at Walmart at a less price. However some items are not. Also at first I was surprised with lack of price labels until I realized that each item is priced individually.

Just about anything for crafts. Great variety. You may have to hunt for knowledgeable staff if you have a question though.

Found my fusible interfacing for a class, Joanns only had seconds that were unusable--the interfacing had permanent wrinkles on the bolt! Simplicity and KwikSew Patterns for $.99 in neat and organized drawers with ample amounts of patterns in each size.

First, the elephant in the room. A lot of people dont like HL and wont associate with people who go there. If thats you, I respect your decision and request that you scroll on. For the people who do choose to shop there- this place ROCKS. Yes, there are Bible-themed dish towels and plenty of books on the power of w#ite people praying. Walk past those to a huge collection of vintage-looking metal garage signs, comic posters, cosplay materials, fabric by the bolt, and science toys. Yeah, they do science here. Along with all the usual art and floral supplies. The store is HUGE, clean and bright, masks required, carts sanitized, and service is friendly. Plus theres usually a home decor sale going on. And for those who decorate trees in the winter, they have keeper ornaments in season. Go in November for the full selection- they sell out early.

So much to choose from in this store! Although, a larger section and selection of jewelry design products would be a prime section to expand upon. More pure Copper components, pure Copper sheets & pure Copper wire could really assist those of us who cannot obtain any of it locally in jewelry/craft stores. Parawire pure Copper wire was only available in permanent antiqued patina wire spools. I liked the seasonal themes as they have a large selection for home decor. The sewing and fabric arts section had plenty to pick from. Notions were readily included in that section. Price points are average so you know what to expect. Sales are awesome!!

Messiest hobby lobby I’ve ever been too. Opened boxes and merchandise all over the floor. One of the employees jumped at me because I almost hit something that was in a pile on the floor. So I guess when you shop there you MUST look down the entire time. It’s not my first trip here, this is my 3rd try and it’s always just as messy and the employees are very rude. I asked for a price check and she refused to do it saying “i don’t need to check the price, I know my prices, I’ve worked here for blah blah years so I know this is the final price” well that wasn’t necessary. I asked because there was a sign that said “50% off all pots” but she still refused. Just plain rude.

Lady in checking out today ( 4.1.2020) had horrendous attitude. I’ve never understood why these people have a customer service job if they aren’t going to be pleasant because believe it or not, it is part of your job to be nice.All that aside, she did not put my 40% off coupon to the highest eligible item. I noticed this and asked why it wouldn’t be towards the 25$ item rather than the 14$. Her answer was “ you didn’t tell me to put it on that one “ I wasn’t aware it worked like that ( because it doesn’t) big surprise she had a huge attitude like I was inconveniencing her. It’s important to make sure your employees know how your most used coupon works would be helpful.

They have a bit of everything and their salea are usually pretty good. Workers are friendly and helpful.

The store is good, But cashiers disappointed 3 times in a row, we had problems with discounts. Even the senior cashier argued that there was no discount on the purchased goods, but there was. Guys, fix the situation, you’ll lose customers.

This week all.wall products were 50% off. Almost any product. Crayons, ornaments, hairpins, wall shelves, frames, etc. It is possible to find many different and different things. I enjoy traveling very much. Almost no attention is paid to the cleanliness of the toilets.
