JUST LOOK AT THEIR GOOGLE REVIEW!! Pretty bad when retention doesnt care why you are leaving and doesnt try to step in a make a situation correct. Can not wait to cancel this company! Horrible lack of trust and commitment as well as attitudes no matter who you call and try to get an answer. Yes they look pretty coming out of the gate but they will nickle and dime you for LARGE, laggy, out dated equipment. Go to CPI or ADT and do not trust these people with your life because they truly do not care. They love to jack your rates up and just genuinely do not care about your hard earned money. We have been with them for almost 7 years now and we are leading a charge to rid our neighborhood of this company. USELESS!
So...my experience with Vector has been very painful from the start. The guy who came out to do the survey was painful to deal with, but it looked like a good deal and I signed the paperwork, which includes providing your credit card. I told him I would get back to him with a date when I could take the day off and be there for the system installation. In the coming two weeks I received several calls to “confirm” my installation that was scheduled the next day...even though I hadn’t scheduled anything, and kept telling the (pleasant) lady calling me that I hadn’t scheduled anything. Then, out of the blue, I get a charge on my credit card for the full amount of the install. I called the rep I was working with, and he assured me I wouldn’t get a second charge AFTER the install was completed. Two weeks later the guys came out and did the installation. They were pretty good guys...no issues there. But the sensors for the front door and a sliding door kept reporting the doors as open when they were closed. Vector sent someone out and replaced the sensors...so far so good now. Then...today...three weeks after the installation, I get billed AGAIN for the installation. So I call the company...I speak to a guy who is nice, but says the billing office is closed, call back after the 4th of July holiday. I texted the rep who I worked with about this as well...turns out he left Vector for another alarm company. People told me Vector wasn’t very good and I should go with ADT...I should have listened to them.
I cant stop showing my Friends what the Vector Security app can do and I really like Jacob M. up there he is very nice and super helpful. Thank you
