I’m a professional designer and have been working with Mosaic for 10 years to make tile selections with my clients. I have used many tile places in the area but keep coming back to Mosaic again and again. Their prices are very competitive and the quality of their tile is excellent. They have a wide selection and skilled tile consultants in their showrooms. I have worked with many of them over the years and they’re all very knowledgeable and helpful.

I had a great experience in selecting tile with Greg Virga at Mosaic. He has a good design eye and was a great help. He was also prepared. Mosaics prices seemed very reasonable to me.

We had a great experience with Mosaic. Barbara, the designer who helped us, was terrific to work with. We had used them four years ago for a bathroom remodeling project, and were glad we went back there this time for new backsplash tile for our kitchen. We thought we knew what we wanted, but Barbara showed us other options as well, and we ended up picking something quite different that we love much better. Nora, the Design Center Coordinator, was very helpful as well. Both were so personable and professional.

Very nice tile store. Large selection. Pretty much everything has to be ordered, and products and prices are geared towards the upper end of the market. If youre looking to have your bathroom or kitchen remodeled in an upscale neighborhood this is the place for you. If youre a DIY person trying to save a few bucks you can probably do a little better on price.

There is a nice selection of tile here. It is well presented in assorted vignettes. Professional sales people are informative.

My husband and I came to Mosaic looking for tile for our whole home renovation. We were confused and and overwhelmed when we arrived as we had been to several other shops that were anything but helpful. We met with Jenn and everything changed! You could tell immediately that she was very knowledgeable and enjoyed her job which set my stress at ease. She gave us tons of options and ultimately navigated us towards our final choices. The renovations were just completed and WOW I am so happy I went with her recommendations!!! My tile looks beyond amazing! I seriously cannot recommend this place, or Jenn enough!! Great experience at this store. I had a low budget but really wanted a high quality design I could live with and relish! Christine was a joy to work with. She rapidly understood my design constraints, requirements and budget. She was so reassuring during the whole process. In under an hour, we had the whole thing figured out. They have an excellent variety and after researching my estimate, I can say that the majority of the prices were even lower than Home Depot. So glad I went.

We worked with Jenn Shook and she was fantastic. She found exactly what we were looking for and gave us helpful advice on choices we were trying to make. She was more helpful on tile selections than the designers we were paying!

We purchased kitchen backsplash tile from Ideal Tile when we did a full kitchen remodel. The tile ended up being the highlight of the kitchen. The owner took the time to walk us through a tremendous amount of options. It is well worth it to shop at a store with he expertise and patience you find at Ideal Tile with Ali and his wife

Lot of good quality tile on display at varying price ranges. Few exceptional details about this tile store; first a lot of their tile can arrive in a day or two from an out of state warehouse. Other places often take a week or so.Second they dont charge for freight, other places do.Also you can actually return whole boxes, with a restocking fee. Other places no can do.Their reps are very helpful, but you may need an appointment, which is good so you get their full attention.I used to visit a couple other tile/flooring shops but now mosaic is my #1.

Mosaic Tile is the place to go if you are remodeling your kitchen or bath and need tile of any type--ceramic, porcelain, natural stone, glass, etc. They have a great selection and their prices are excellent, but what really sets them apart is the customer service they offer. We were remodeling our master bath and needed help with the design. We had visited several other tile stores in Northern Virginia including The Tile Shop and Ideal Tile, and were disappointed in the level of help that they could offer. What a difference when we came to Mosaic Tile! Our salesperson, Jennifer Shook, was wonderful. She went over the options we had and worked with us at no charge to put together a very detailed plan for the tile layout that was truly beautiful and SO much better than we could have done on our own. She even found some porcelain tile that was on clearance to keep the price down. When our contractor (DNS Total Construction, who are also excellent) came to go over the plan, they were highly impressed with both the plan Jennifer had come up with and the prices at Mosaic Tile and said that they were going to start referring their customers to Mosaic. The process of ordering and getting the tile went flawlessly and now that the tile has been installed, it looks even more beautiful than we imagined. This place truly deserves a rating of 5 stars in every respect.

Excellent design services from professional staff. Appointments highly recommended for selections with a no appointment/open showroom on Saturdays. Experienced designers will guide you through the thousands of tile options. Plus lighting, cabinets and plumbing fixtures!

In my business dealings with Mosaic Tile on Hilltop I always find the staff: Malou and Barbara to be very professional and always helpful and pleasant. My company Wards Remodeling, Inc. is a remodeling firm established in 1987 specializing in residential home remodeling including kitchens, baths, additions and renovations. My job is hard enough so I need to work with other professional vendors and suppliers who work hard to make the jobs go smoothly. Remodeling is a difficult business. There are always challenges and the folks at Mosaic work very hard for total satisfaction.

I was remodeling my whole house, and it was time to select tile. Fortunately (because otherwise I would not have met Barbara), my contractor couldnt send me to any of his tile people at that time, so I had to find someone on my own. I called Mosaic Tile, Fairfax, asking for an appointment with a rep, and was referred to Barbara Mion.The moment I met with Barbara, I knew I was in good hands. Barbara is from Italy, the country of top design and tile, and I thought that I could count on some of that Italian style if I worked with her. I was correct! Not only was Barbara friendly and professional, she was also very knowledgeable and had a great taste. She took her time listening to my needs and wrote detailed notes. She kept showing me the tiles, that she thought would go well with the style of my house (including the ones that were on sale, which I ended up buying) until I was completely satisfied and happy with the selection and price. She lent me samples for as long as I needed them and came before the opening of the showroom to accommodate my needs. After a number of meetings, Barbara set me up with everything I needed: floor tiles, wall tiles, accent tiles, trim, grout, sealant, etc. My bathrooms and kitchen walls look fabulous, and I receive a lot of complements from people who visit our house. Grazie, Barbara!

So, to those of you looking to go into a store, pick some tile and go home. This is probably not the place for you. If you are looking for someone to work with you while you design your room, Mosaic is a better fit.I have done two projects with them and visited and revisited them at least four times for each project. Did my designer make a mistake, yep, so did I and so did my contractor. If someone told you a renovation would be easy and problem free, they lied. My designers worked with me to get the issues resolved and I am very happy with the outcome.The bottom line is that Mosaic understands this is a big, expensive decision, they wont rush you, there is no set design time and at the end you can have a really beautiful result. I did.

For some reason, my wife likes to shop at Mosaic Tile, because they have nicer tile. However, the experience is so horrible, that she refuses to work with them, leaving me to deal with it. Ive been much happier with tile for other projects bought at the big box stores.Currently, my wife is trying to extend the tile bought from Mosaic for the kitchen floor into the foyer and powder room. When scoping the project six months ago, they roped us into buying a full box as part of the matching process. At the time, we didnt know how much tile we needed.Now, six months later, we have one box here, and they cannot find the order to get more, even though we have a full, in-tact box here. They seem to sell extra tile, enough to get my wife roped into using it for extensions, but not enough to complete the project. And, the experience is painful for me, not being able to just get more of the stuff we bought last time.

We have had excellent experience with Jenn. She helped us pick out beautiful tile and grout for our bathroom. We felt so good about our experience and selection that we are going back to do a second bathroom.

I would like to write that I have worked with Brian on my home bathroom renovation over the past month and his quality of service was as best as you can get. While working with Brian, he excelled in answering all my questions with tile color, design and layout since this was my first time home project. He was on prompt with his appointments and was always just a phone call away. I had my reservations going with Mosaic tile since I have read some bad reviews online but not only did he exceed his customer service expectations but made my opinion of Mosaic tile a positive one and will be using you guys again for my other renovations coming up in the coming months.As I plan my next bathroom project in my home, I will most likely go to Brian again, though they might have an excellent staff, I am comfortable and know his style is like mine. I would also like to thank Jeff from the backroom who got my orders correctly and loaded my car quickly to get back to my renovations. I would also like to thank Nicole, who I only talked to once since Brian was on vacation, she helped me promptly with my orders even though I did not have the right work order numbers or the right names of the tiles.Thanks again for your staff for making my first home project easy as possible as you can make it and not only will I use you probably within the next month but I am also going to recommend you guys to all my friends and family.

The positives: They have great, attractive room displays, which really helps with getting ideas for remodeling rooms.The negatives: Their customer services and general friendliness is NON-EXISTENT! My husband and I walked in there, in plain clothes (jeans), so I keep wondering if they just assumed we werent good enough to shop there? Or perhaps they assumed we didnt have enough money? (Dont judge a book by its cover, Mosaic Tile!) During our walk-around of the store, only ONE employee said, Hi, and that was when I nearly accidentally walked into her. I can understand the concept of not wanting to bother potential customers with a salesperson, but a SIMPLE greeting would have been more than OK. Completely ignoring customers upon entering your store, and then as they continue to browse, is like silently saying, Were not interested in your business.We ultimately left there very offended, and took our business (money) to Home Depot instead. Our contractor prefers HD anyhow, so it all worked out great.

Customer service is almost non existant here.. i walked in here on a weekday afternoon...readt to pick my tiles fir 2 bath remodeling. .as my contractor suggested this store ia closer ...i did saw tiles i like but no one greeted me..they just walked pass me many times. Oh well i guess i will find other tile stores. ..too bad.

We decided to go with Mosaic Tile Company for the tile we were putting in as part of our Master Bathroom remodel - the first we have ever done. We scheduled a meeting with a representative who was very professional and helpful. She even sold us on a niche for the shower, which is why I am writing this review.Our rep did NOT explain to us what was entailed in building out a niche - she merely stated that we would need additional bullnose tile for that portion. She did NOT explain that you ALSO NEED A FRAME. Therefore, we simply ordered the extra bullnose along with the rest of the original order. This caused a delay as we picked up the tile only to be told by our contractor that we also needed the frame. His sub could do the work (they often do), and admittedly my contractor also should have been able to inform us of this, but seeing as how we had a 90 minute session with our rep WHO DOES NOTHING BUT THIS FOR A LIVING, you would have thought that she could have explained things a bit better.Finally, to make things even more annoying, after we got the frame in place and our contractor was ready to actually place the bullnose we discovered that it wasnt even there. Again, our contractor is partly to blame for not verifying this came with the order, but Mosaic Tile didnt even add the extra bullnose in with our order as we had asked.All told, it wasnt the end of the world, but it was very annoying and set us back a few days in our timeline (which is tight given we are finishing the reno project before we actually move into the house).My overall impression is that this store isnt well run - the employees there do NOT pay attention to detail there.
