Whenever I want to create something new, I make a quick run to Michaels and I get everything I need, and at a really good price too. And the staff is always so friendly and helpful, taking you right to the aisle where you need to get your supplies. This is my latest creation. I got my canvas, paint brushes, and paint from Michaels.

I always am able to find what i am looking gor, plus extra. The people are friendly and knowledgeable. The store is always clean and organized.

Decent arts and crafts store when a huge assortment of supplies and materials.My pet peeves is their Clearancepricing on the shelves. Its not easy or obvious to figure out which particulate product is being cleared at reduced prices. Merchandise is often mixed together on the shelves and you can end up with full priced goods Instead of the Clearance goods. Very sloppy!

Way too much to buy. This place has great ideas, and now I want to craft.

Take a coupon or show one on your phone before paying. They have Copic markers, Prismacolor and Gelly Roll pens which I need and love. The canvas is lower quality wrap currently, would like more options there. They have so many things..and you can check online to see if its in srock before going. Its a clean, well managed store. Ive lived near it and used this location 11 years. Always take a coupon!!

It is ok but not like a c. Moore they had lots of kits for kids and lots for adults to make but Michaels dont but they took over a.c. Moore. I wish they did have more things like a.c moore.

It’s what you would expect a craft store to be. They cover all craft needs and have cute cheap things for various holidays. Good selection of items at reasonable prices.

When you walk in the door, near the registers there is a sign for picking up Online orders and a red button to push to alert someone to come help you. I pushed the button numerous times and waited for quite a while. When I asked the cashier if she could maybe call someone to help me, she commented “oh yeah, that button isn’t even hooked up.” Oh for crying out loud, why do you even have it then? I have not had a good experience with this store on multiple occasions, I’m willing to drive to the Vienna store even though it’s further and I have to deal with Maple traffic.

Placed an order online for curbside pickup. Got there and followed their prompts to ensure they knew I was outside. I ended up waiting for a long while before going inside to get my order. When I approached the cashier to let them know I was there to pick up my order, he didnt even apologize or anything and the iPad they use to confirm the order pick up was just sitting there and no one even paid attention that I was out there for a while waiting.

Had inexpensive stickers for some creative autistic work for our big guy. I was looking for some airbrush strater supplies but didnt see any. Ill check back next time.

Did not have variety of yarn I was looking for. In a plaza with Microcenter, Safeway, and a variety of Asian restaurants.

Shoping for decor items or things for your craft project, this is the store. If you sign up for their rewards program you get lots of coupons. There are always discounts and deals to be had here.

Michaels has always been the place to go for crafts and craft supplies. They have a large selection. They have some cute home decor items too.

The layout was different from the one I usually shop at. They have stopped carrying the product I was shopping for so it was a wasted wander around the store.

I love shopping at Michaels, probably too much. I always forget my teacher ID for the discount, but they never hassle me which is fabulous! I also at one point bought this picture frame, which just fell apart instantly once I got home. I took it in the next day, totally forgetting my receipt, and all I had was the frame. They let me trade out the frame with a brand new one, no problems. It was a quick and painless switch, which I really appreciated. I will be returning.

They have a good rewards program and your rewards can be used in addition to sales so you can get some good deals.

I usually just do online order and pick up at the store. They are usually pretty quick. Go in and come out. The most Ive waited to pick up my order was about 2 minutes.

Good selection, but better signage would help. Since AC Moore closed, prices have gone up.

Michaels has decorative items, tools and accessories for crafts. The staff is very helpful.

I am not crafty but Im retired and my wife is very crafty that means lots of trips to Michaels. I must say the store has a wide variety of assorted crafts and hobby related items. I do enjoy browsing here even though I dont have much interest in crafts. My wife will spend an hour at a time in this store which means I spend an hour at a time in the store. The time goes by fast. If you enjoy crafts I cant imagine a better store.

Cashiers are nice never saw any floor associates and bathroom was disgusting needs to be cleaned more often.

I am known far and wide as being a crafty person, and this Michaels is my favorite location of the chain in Northern Virginia. It is one of the larger locations, has the best selection and organization, and the employees are usually extremely friendly whenever I go. I have brought my kids to their crafting activities on multiple occasions, and its always a great time.

Got everything I need, but just gotta take your time to look for it. Also, helpful staff that pointed me to the right isles.

Michaels is a pretty good craft store, but this location is very nice as it is right next door to Micro Center! So I can look around there while the rest of the family goofs off looking (and buying unfortunately) crafts at Michaels. They have quite a selection of crafting supplies from floral and frames to models and paints.

So I came 15 min before closing and the manager or employee helped me fast 😀 i went to the cooking aisle and a employee came 40sec as I got there amazing service very helpful and the products I have today will help me achieve my goal this weekdayDefinitely give thos two employees a raise

Way better than shopping online. Extremely pleasant and professional staff. They were quickly and capably able to help me find what I needed and I had a couple pleasant conversations. More importantly, they showed me a few coupons for items I had and I saved $20. 10/10 will shop again.

Not one of the best Michaels I’ve been to. A bit run down and every visit some of the displays/shelves are in disarray (especially the yarn). But the employees have always been very nice and helpful.

Paola is the BEST!!! I had to get all the frosted window cling in the world and she helped me look for all the ones they had at the store. Then she helped me out even more by price matching all the clings to the online price after I asked about it! And she was super nice and friendly the whole time :)

Great place to go for all your craft needs. Relatively inexpensive and there is always a digital coupon you can find quickly on your smartphone without an app. They have a large variety and youll find activities you never knew existed. So far this store has had the nicest staff and is kept clean and up to date.

Not all Michaels carry the same products. I was looking for something specific, but they did not have it. However, the store does offer plenty of items to create your own thing and they offer pre-made items as well. The personnel was very friendly and helpful. The store is spacious and clean. Ill be back.

They had a single cashier. Made check out really long, but overall its a decent craft store. It will have the things you need.

The location of this store is also pretty convenient, next to micro center and a bunch of restaurants. The staff members are very friendly and helpful. However sometimes the stuff in the clearance section has no price tag.

Cant walk in there without buying everything. Suddenly realize walking in that I need stuff for 6 other projects, and its like, dang I just came here for a glass jar. Not today... not today. 💸💸

Great place to start and prepare your diy

This is my prime pick for craft store shopping in the Northern Virginia metro area. I do not do a lot of crafting, so when I shop for craft stuff I like a store that has a lot of stock. Michaels has big stores with a lot of stock. 😃 One trip, and I get erdone.

Theyre using their game now! Everything was neat and orderly. Their registers have become more organized and updated their check out counters! Who doesnt love going to Michaels?

We went to Poke Hub. Plenty of parking. The only Poke resto in the area I think. The large bowl is big enough for 2 people.

Incompetent manager who’s actually afraid to make a decision to match the price online and when I talked to him about it he out of the sudden become defensive and didn’t listen when I was trying to explain to him there was a glitch on the system. Worst experience ever

This is a very family friendly craft supply store which is always well stocked and has many interesting items. There are alway oohs and awes heard all around while browsing the items. We have little ones who love to create so this is an excellent store for the whole family.

I originally thought Michaels had closed its doors, but was very pleased to find they are open an functioning great with Covid restrictions in place. There were plenty of people to assist me. I found what I was looking for. I definitely will be back.

I love going to Michaels. I came here to pick up an online order. The online pick up area wasnt super easy to see, but I found it. Didnt take long to get my order.I love Michaels for all the crafty items that they have in store.Always my go to place for my artistic side.

Michaels is the DEVIL! I can never go near the store without being lured in and buying things that I had no idea even existed in the craft world. Its just fun to even look at but who can ever just look?

I like their door buster deals. I always get to buy new things. I got most of my art and craft supplies from there. Their candles are the best and the cheapest 3 for $10

The employes are very nice and helpful. Unfortunately, there arent enough on shift at a time help find items, make recommendations and answer questions. The employees do the best they possibly can.The shelves are always well stocked and the quality of the merchandise is excellent. I have to admit that I dont get a big kick out of having to search for help because the store is pretty large. But when I do find an employee, they are hard at work and respond immediately. Maybe its a corporate thing.
