One of the better best buys in our area. (DMV) I like it better than Springfield location.
I bought a laptop thinking it was new when it turned out to be used. Within two weeks the laptop wasn’t working properly. Turns out the motherboard had to be replaced. No new laptop experiences that. Then they had the audacity to try and sell me a geek squad plan instead of apologizing and issuing a refund. Won’t return again.
We went to purchase a TV, haven’t really shopped in person in a while but we wanted to see the size and ask questions. My sister and I stood there by the TVs as maybe 5 employees passed us without even a hello. Finally, I stopped someone to ask for assistance and before I finished my sentence he cut me off and said just a minute. Eventually someone else came to help us. I’m giving 1 star because this person checked us out fine and the TV is good. But he also didn’t know the promotion they were running or pretended he didn’t and we had to remind him it came with an Alexa device. As we were wrapping up I noticed 3 different employees asking another gentlemen if he had been helped and if he was ok and if he needed anything. Meanwhile me and my sister were completely ignored for 15minutes. Extremely disappointed with my experience there and will not be going back. This has not happened to me at other Best Buy stores. Clearly the employees need additional training on treating every customer equally.
Our BestBuy Associate was Raisa at the #273 13058 Fairlakes Shopping CTR, Fairfax VA 22033. She is very knowledgeable, extremely friendly and helpful. I enjoyed her service and appreciated her honesty. It is in your best enterest to show her some love and take of her while she is with the company. We will return because of Raisa🙂what a sweetheart ❤

Great place to shop if dont want to go to microcenter. Their prices are lower than other competitors. The only issue is the Best Buy well tell you that something is available at the store, but is not. Other than that great store.

Purchased a kitchenAid dishwasher from Best Buy and an extended warranty for five years. The dishwasher is ruining all my dishes and discoloration. They have sent a repair person 3x. He has made excuses each time. They can NOT repair it and need to replace it. BAD CUSTOMER SATISFACTION!!
Once you buy something you get the runaround. There is NO WAY to call them anymore. Im serious, the message just says they no longer take calls. And if you come in no one will assist you so basically once they have your money, you are kind of stuck. I also left a number for them to call me last time I was in and, no surprise, Im still waiting for a call.The experience we had with the installation was pretty bad, too. The guy did it wrong and then took the tools with him that come with the unit so you can fix it. He ran none of the diagnostic steps, either. He also had no sense of athletics and left all the wires and hoses tangled so the units couldnt sit flush and even against the back wall. Zero training, it is clear. They pride themselves that install is free; it is worth less than that as we have to redo things.Please buy your major appliances somewhere else ... Lowes, Home Depot, Costco ... anywhere but Best Buy and especially not this location. Nightmare.

The usual electronic megastore. Bright, clean with a decent selection of stuff for the suburban household. The sales was a bit pushy about store credit card. We said no which means no but the dude kept pushing how he was helping us save $20 if we sign up. Almost was just going to walk out. I said no and he finally relented grumbling walking away.

Ive always loved Best Buy, but today the experience was less than satisfying. I went in to look at TVs. In order to find the size and price. I had to get about 12 inches away from a little card glued to the table base that the TV was sitting on. It was hard to read the size and there was little to no information. No one asked if I needed help, so I walked out and went to Costco. Sorry, Best Buy, I wanted to give a chance to win my business. Im not upset, Ill give you another chance next time Im in the market for a TV.
Location is clean and well merchandised.This is one of the busier locations in the area, which means they usually have a good inventory level as well as adequate staffing levels.The parking lot is good, but getting in/out of the shopping center entrance can be like taking your life into your own hands.Drive safely and you should be fine.Worth the risk.We usually travel a bit further to go to this location because of the aforementioned upside.
Corporate policy stifles the quality of services rendered to the customer. On multiple occasions Ive had mistakes occur when having services rendered and both times corporate policy prevented my situation from being properly corrected. Floor workers seem to be doing their best, but I no longer wish to seek services from a company with difficult procedures that gives me the run around
The staff was very helpful in helping my find the laptop I needed for relaxing, gaming, and teleworking. The staff were ciurteuos and knowledgeable. The store has a wide selection of computers, electronics, and appliances. They didn’t have the laptop on hand that I selected and made sure that it was ordered for delivery to my home in just a couple days.
Well organized store. A little hard to find assistance from staff. But if you know what youre doing around electronics you should be fine. Plus price match with Amazon.com makes Best Buy my favorite spot!

We have been in Best Buy several times since we purchased our new home in Fairfax! We have been so lucky every time to get the knowledge and wonderful service from Wali! He has sold us our last 3 TV’s! He’s great! A definite thumbs up to him!!
I realize that COVID pandemic has changed the way any store operates, but here trying to get a sales associate to help you is just ridiculous! I was wanting to buy a new laptop but I had the hardest time getting any help! So I just end up purchasing one online!

Inconsistent customer service, my girlfriend came into this location for a simple laptop cover/case. When she asked for help, the first associate she spoke to showed her the proper aisle to find her item. However, another associate behind him felt the need to force their customer service by following her around the store asking her questions that the first associate already answered. Not taking no for an answer, he insisted upon asking/checking in on her and talking about unrelated and irrelevant products. (did not get his name but was a young kid wearing earrings and a white polo.)Learn when to not to be pushy with customers. Dont harass your customers into buying more thats not what sales should be. During checkout, this same associate disregarded her boundaries by taking the phone out of her hand, in order to utilize contactless paying, without being asked or given permission to do so. Then continued to insist opening a credit card, even when given the answer no 3 times.... UNDERSTAND when a customer says no....Will not be coming here in the future if sales associates do not respect customer boundaries and only care about aggressive/pushy upselling and cross-selling tactics. Seems like you only care about the $ not providing ACTUAL customer service or regard... cmon now
Its a best buy. Well managed and staffed, about the product inventory youd expect. Nothing available thats in high demand and minimal PC options.
The store seems fine but when you get something delivered beware. My home was damaged and I can’t get seems to get any action to help me. It’s been well over a year and I’m being ignored. Beware!
Paid for Geek Squad maintenance on our new laptop. Returned it for service twice in 2 months. Each time the Geek Squad manager said, we cant help you. What the hell did we pay for support for?

Great store, clean, relatively organized and adequate sales reps on the floor (thankfully). Glad to have a decent in-store experience rather than having to settle for purchasing the products I wanted online (even though Ive had decent experience with BestBuy.com its still nice to look at merchandise in person). Rest rooms were also open and clean, a bonus that let me comfortably keep shopping.
The staff tried their best to help me, but the gents working in the computer dept didnt know much about hardware.

While the staff was patient and understanding given the situation I had the manager Marvin was dismissive, rude, and made me never want to frequent that location again. I will be travelling 40 minutes from my home to another best buy in the future in order to avoid dealing with someone who enjoyed gaslighting a customer.

I bought my Nikon mirrorless camera and lenses here. There is a Nikon rep there and he is very helpful. We were also in the market for a washer dryer and the rep was very knowledgeable.
WORST experience of my life. Waiting on a dishwasher that Best Buy keeps rescheduling, I believe we are going on 6 weeks now. The first two times they don’t show up, the 3rd time they arrive with a damaged dishwasher (cracked side panel). Today they gave us the window of 8am-noon and are supposed to call an hour before arrival. Its 11:21 and still no call. It takes a lot to coordinate my work schedule and these deliveries and its very frustrating to be in this situation. My husband has called the store multiple times and while they apologize we are still in this situation. Today after rearranging my work schedule and this being the 3rd no show/6 week time frame I have reached my limit. I also plan to contact corporate on this experience.
Ordered a printer online and it was ready for pickup within 20 minutes. Best Buy has come a long way over the past several years.

I am not a fan of big Box stores in general. But I had a pleasant and expeditious experience with a return at Best Buy.
I’m not sure why I didn’t sign myself and all of my employees up at geek squad along time ago but these guys are magicians. I talked to five different HP technicians and waste of eight hours and then took it to geek squad as a final resort and they fixed my problem (thank you Matt!) In 3 days and save me thousands of dollars by saving my data. All this was done on a $199 plan for the entire year and you can’t beat that. More than that their expertise and service is unmatchable. Thank you Matt and Geek squad team. I wish I could hire them for my company but they would probably be too expensive given their expertise :)
Not much staff. There because the best buy closest to us shut down and we needed a new dishwasher since ours broke. It was difficult to get someone to help, but eventually we did and alls well that ends well

I dont know what sort of training these employees go through, but seriously all of them are so sweet and awesome! Theyre like the Chick-Fil-A employees of electronics. There is some sort of rogue manager/employee at this store. I had two orders go from available to pickup to cancelled by the store within 3 hours of being notified that they were available. This means that someone at the store decided I wasnt allowed to have my item even though I had already placed my order online and been notified it was ready for pickup. It was a limited edition item so it makes me wonder if the employee is backdooring it themselves given that I have never experienced anything similar at other Best Buy locations.
We purchased a refrigerator at best buy and on delivery we received a broken refrigerator. This was more than a month and a half ago. We have scheduled and rescheduled a replacement several times and each time the delivery gets delayed or rescheduled. Today, the delivery came and the workers refused to replace the refrigerator as they only wanted to replace the refrigerator doors. I tried to ask the workers questions but he placed his hand on lip ushering me to shush while I was on the phone with best buy trying to sort things out. I was ignored and disrespected several times by the delivery men and I have missed multiple days of work trying to schedule/reschedule delivery dates for a fridge that I initially bought more than a month and a half ago. This has been by far my worst experience ever with best buy and just any delivery of any sort. This is ridiculous and I am very unhappy with the service and delivery. This whole process leads to nothing but just wasted time.
I had trouble understanding Lawrence due to his accent and mask. That is what happens being covid-wise. The mask muffled the words. He was fine and thorough.
Had a wonderland experience with the help of Lexi and Ramon. I wanted to upgrade my phone but unfortunately returned it because it wasn’t what I was expecting. Lexi was very helpful and patient from beginning to end, explaining to me the specs of the phone and professionally dealing with my returning the phone. Ramon is also a very skilled screen protector applicator, and perfectly applied the cover to my old phone. Friendly and professional staff make a happy customer! - Grace

Sure was nice of them to re-active my bestbuy account by making a hard check on my credit and not give me the disclaimer first. Reactivating is not the same as reapplying. I wonder how many people they have seriously messed up by doing this.

This was the absolute worse best buy I have ever gone too- staff was not knowledgeable, I spoke to at least 6 different staff members including a manager( no help) and store closes at 7 was in the store before 6pm looking to buy a mac device and didnt leave till after 7:30-
Great visit. The last time I was here was maybe about 4 years ago, and all I remember was the lack of customer service I received. Which was pretty much zero to none. This morning, literally EVERY employee I walked past asked me if I needed help. Another even went out of his way to look my item up in their system. Will shop again.

Trying to connect to Magnolia and they send me to Geek Squad than then sends me to All State Insurance. None of this makes sense. I’m returning everything I’ve purchased from this store. Worst ever
I couldn’t contact the store so I had to call online to setup an appointment to get a subwoofer installed. When I called geek squad to ask what service I needed they told me the subwoofer install would be sufficient only to go to my appointment to be told that they setup the wrong service that I needed a different service. Wasted a 30 minute drive and they were booked till may.
Now this store is a little more tricky to rate!!! Upon arriving it didnt take long to find and pick out the new phone in which we wanted. We told a Blue Shirt and they went and got it. From here service wasnt that great and I maybe giving at least one star more than they deserve. Anyway so there became an issue with that phone after being passed through three Blue Shirts to get us activated. We already had the account and it had an extra line on it not being used anymore. Eventually they got another one of those phones as the first one the box had been opened and the phone turned on. At first they accused us of opening it and turning it on, but none of us had even touched it. So they got another one which had a sealed box and wasnt on. After a little while they said we had to pick another phone as this one wasnt compatible with AT&T. So we did relatively quick. They got that phone and now after awhile they said they couldnt activate it because that phone didnt have data (However, remember today or plans share the data we no longer have individual plans for each phone on the same account)!!! Well I knew AT&T was literally across the street so we paid for the phone and went to AT&T who very quickly assigned a new SIM card for that phone and had us out the door with a working phone and no. Changes to the plan!!! BTW there was also an issue with the scratch productive screen they got for us to use on that phone. Turns out they didnt have one for that phone. Thank God for Amazon!!! So Im being very nice with a four star rating as the Blue Shirts just didnt know what they were doing!!!

Its nostalgic to walk in the aisles filled with techno wizardry, or even a home appliances section. Or you just want to gawk at the humongous flat screen and imagine what superbowl would look like on it. (Drooling is frowned upon)There is just a different experience to see the item before you buy it. They have great deals on older blu rays and once in a while you get a great deal on that complete series you wanted to binge on.
** UPDATE: For the record, the people you work with to buy your appliances at Best Buy are 3 degrees removed from the actual people who come to your house to install it, and they do not communicate at all.It took 3 different moving companies over the course of a month to move our washer and dryer unit into our house AND we had to buy extra parts from Home Depot to get it installed. We must have visited Best Buy three times per week in order to even get them to address the issue. The moving companies refused to use the parts that Best Buy sent us because they said that they wouldnt work, and Best Buy refused to believe that they were the wrong parts.The only saving grace was that Freddy in appliances was able to refund us for the extra parts we bought, and retroactively gave us money back on our washer and dryer unit. I appreciated his customer service, but I would never recommend that you buy an appliance that you cant install yourself at this Best Buy location.***My husband and I bought a 65” TV and a new washer and dryer for our first home. Both experiences have been incredibly frustrating and make me wish we had chosen a different store. Everyone seems disorganized, with a total lack of communication between workers, and a never-ending wait on the phone lines.When we tried to buy the TV, an associate told us that it was “blocked” in the storeroom behind a bunch of pallets and that we needed to come back the next day when he would be sure to have it ready. When we returned the next day to pick it up, it took them an additional 45 minutes to bring the TV to the front of the store. This was an annoying waste of our time, but more frustrating has been the poor service on the washer and dryer installation.When we tried to have the washer and dryer delivered to our townhome, the third party movers that Best Buy hired damaged an entire flight of stairs dragging the washer and dryer up. (Note that we had to submit an insurance claim on our own because the delivery people didn’t report the damage). They then realized that they didn’t have the right parts needed to install, so they left the washer and dryer in our kitchen and told us to call the store to reschedule. We visited the store that day to reschedule and get the right parts, and we were assured that we would get a call to schedule a new date the following week. We got no such call, and had to spend another 3-4 hours on the phone trying to work through the Geek Squad to get a new installation date. To top it off, they have no way to guarantee when someone will be out to install it, other than “between 7AM and 1PM,” on a day when we’re supposed to be in a wedding by noon. When I asked if they could call the delivery/install people to move our name up to the beginning of the delivery window, I was told “we don’t even have a number, we just communicate by email.”I am incredulous that Best Buy had so little control or input over a delivery service that directly reflects on them, and I am frustrated by store associates telling me “there’s nothing I can do.”

Went to the store anyway to try to pick it up and manager acting like he doesn’t know what happened. Had no reason for cancelling. Likely canceled so they can backdoor. Based on reviews this is common at this store. Stay away.
Best Buy is not what it use to be was looking for a 100ft telephone cable and a tester and they didn’t have any nor did they know what they was... won’t be coming here anymore...
Customer Service wasnt good. I needed some assistance with an item and was told that, that wasnt there department and they would call for associate that works in that department. I also had to wait for associates to finish their conversation before I was attended to.

I bought a AV unit for my car and turns out the unit is defective. I tried calling the manufacturer for warranty and they told me that I have to send the unit to them and after inspection, theyll send the new unit. But the issue was that the whole process can take up to a month. I complained that I cant wait that long and manufacturer response is to return it to best buy and get a new unit. So I went and talk with their so called manager (no name tag by the way) Ale. She said theyre is nothing they can do for the return even though it is a defective unit they sold to me. I tried telling her the issue but her response is they cannot make an exception even though I could easily buy the same product at Amazon for less ($80 less), they have 30 day return policy.So now Im stuck with a situation where I have to either send the unit and drive around with a hole in the middle of dash for a month or be stuck with a defective unit that keeps blanking out.I shouldve gone and bought it at Amazon. This whole experience has gone complete sour and the issue is now completely out of my control. Thanks best buy. Youre the reason I am never going to retail store for electronics.
Stopping by for a quick visit, my recent experience here did not displease. I was able to quickly locate what I was looking for in addition to several other sales that ultimately led me to add those to my end purchase. Combined with my store membership for gaming products, I saved $88 and paid only $76--more than 50% savings!
I want to support local businesses and Best Buy was willing to price match my Definitive Technology Speakers with no issue.
