This shop have great customer service!

They are the most honest people I have ever meet at a shop. They won’t work on your car if it’s not ethical to do so. Great customer service they only issue I had was me having to call to see what was going on.

They had my car for almost 6 months. Every week I called they had a new excuse to why they haven’t started yet. Granted they did have a lot of cars. But 6 months with no communication or initiative to get my car ready. I spoke to the manager and he still charged me full price even though my battery completely died from being there for so long not being touched at all. Would’ve thought they would have at least took 10% off my total. And was told they will not pay for a new battery even though it died on their expense.

Great place to get any and all of your auto or truck services. These guys really know their stuff . Highly recommend.

I was POSITIVE I had a blown head gasket. Just needed spark plugs, ignition coil, and oil change. They also worked with my warranty company to alleviate a bit of the cost. Great communication. Will take my other vehicle there too.

They examine my car, took care of the problem and now my car is running better than ever. I will definitely would recommend them to other people.

I’ve now visited Fairburn Emission and Automotive on two separate occasions, having learned about them just recently. Both experiences have been a great blessing, with their prices being incredibly affordable, their service being thorough and of very high integrity, and all of their staff members being very courteous and friendly!I would definitely recommend them; especially for quick, same-day service needs. So all in all, they’re mostly a 5 out of 5 stars. I only rated them a 4 based on how very limited parking is at their location and also due to the waiting area and restroom being less glamorous and contemporary than the pricier dealership waiting areas tend to be. So it’s better to plan to leave your car there and just return upon being informed that it’s ready. But definitely check them out!! (And support the small, privately-owned businesses, instead of just the big guys ;)

I was recommended to Fairburn Emissions by my husband. The first couple of times they were great. My truck had an oil leak they inform me that it was the rear main seal. I didnt question them and paid them they kept my truck for 2 weeks. When i picked it up it was still leaking. I informed them and they were extremely rude to me although I had paid them and was never rude to them.. They agreed to look at my truck again and now it was the steering box I paid them. My truck leaked more after 1 day home. I took it back to them; they kept my truck for over a month charging me a lot of money. Every time I called it was excuses after excuses. They finally call me to pick up my truck. My battery which was about 3 months old was dead they had to jump start my truck. After all that my truck is still leaking oil in the exact same spot. I would not recommend at all! I will never go back even if it was the last place that repairs cars.This is a follow up after I read the reply back from the review I wrote. I was told that they wanted to make things right. Well, everyone they did not; the young lady was nice and kind which she didnt know a lot but she did her job. I was charged for another diagnostic test and this time it over $120.00+ this did include the emissions which is about $18.00 elsewhere. In all hopes I thought they would make it right. I was told it was now leaking around the timing belt area. Well, I took my truck to another shop and the mechanic said that my truck is in good shape and that the original oil pan that I paid for at the beginning of this ordeal was nevered changed they only put RTV to seal it. I have pictures of the Rtv smeared and a statement from the other mechanic. It is very sad that people are taken advantage of because they trust others to do what is right. It is unprofessional to hang up on someone because they are inquiring about their vehicle. Overall, after all that my husband was told We dont wanted to work on your truck!!!. After taking thousands of hard earned money from someone. I was treated unfairly, poorly and unjusted the only time they said anything to me was to get my credit card to pay. I now have contacted my lawyer to see how I can at least recover any of my money back to get my truck fixed.

I took my 2011 Toyota Camry in for brake replacement and power steering leaks. As expected, outstanding customer service and repair work was received. You can never go wrong with this automotive repair facility.

I highly recommend this place. The Lexus dealership told me I needed a costly repair close to $5,000. Took it to this place and they said it wasnt accurate. The actual repair was only $300. They could have easily taken the money since I came in with a diagnostic. I will definitely be going back. They told me the true repair was obvious. So glad my husband found this shop.

We took our Chevy Tahoe in for a leak and the team at Fairburn did a great job taken the time to really find out what the issue was. Once found, they called with a quote, which by the way, was reasonably priced! It took a few days but it was definitely worth the wait. I would recommend Fairburn Emissions to any one around. We have 5 cars and will take them all for service when needed!!!

July 2nd, 2020I took my SUV in @ 8:45 to get a front end alignment. They finished in a timely manner & my wife took the car to work 5 miles away. At 1:15, she called me to say that the car was running hot & needing a oil change with the check engine light on. After making it home & checking under the hood, the radiator had water coming from everywhere. Now we all know our cars, & I know that I have never had any radiator issues and get a oil change every 2999 miles. I am writing this review because I check numerous reviews before taking my car to anyone.When I called,the lady working there said it was just coincidence. I am a FIRM believer that if you take your car to a shop & within a week, it starts to have major issues, its no coincidence.I wont EVER take it back again. I have someone who works on my car, but he could not do an alignment. You can let Fairburn Emission work on your car if you want. It your money. Im just telling everyone reading this, THIS WAS NO COINCIDENCE IN MY EYES.

Went to get a Emmission and their Emmission Specialist wasnt even there. They have been Incompetent and unorganized my last 3 visits and they hold your car for days to fix it

They are a little busy. But if your mechanic is not busy, there is a reason.

My experience was not positive! This is my second time using Fairburn Emmision. I dropped my car off on a Thursday the 15th of October. I got a diagnosis on the 19th. It took til the 24th for the car to be repaired. There may have been a day delay because I chose to purchase my own parts from Napa instead of using their options. The prices of their parts were almost half of what I paid at Napa, which would’ve driven the price of the repair up to over $1000. Mind u, they only replaced the wheel bearings.Secondly, they sent me a text correspondence which was supposed to keep me updated on the progress of my repair. The app me we texted me after the initial welcome. I had to call on the Friday morning of the day I picked up my car to ask for an update.The woman who answered had zero information and said she’d investigate and call me back with an update. She never called. About 1pm I drove up there and magically my car was ready.Unfortunately, this is my sons car receiving repair. He lines in Macon. I called earlier to ensure I’d be able to arrange for him to get to the city and pick it up once I paid. I couldn’t drive 2 cars and the business is closed on weekends. Since I had to work at 5 and I wasn’t given advance notice I had to arrange for a relative to go pay and retrieve the car-there’s not an online or pay over the phone Option.Bottom line: this business does good auto repair work, but expect a long wait with zero communication. Lastly, their diagnostic is not included in the price of the repair-parts are unreasonably higher than the market.Go Elsewhere!

Jon and Johnathan. They upped the price on me by $300 in 2 weeks. When I confronted them about it, there was silence, and then Jon saying - you can try to find somewhere else cheaper. Yeh, Im going somewhere else whether the price is higher or not. I dont deal with swindlers.

Fairburn Emissions is great! The staff is courteous and the work on my car was done thoroughly and quickly. They are not trying to take advantage of the less knowledgeable consumer. The mechanic inspected my car based upon what I thought was wrong and advised me that I didnt need to make unnecessary repairs. I highly recommend this shop.

Good service decent prices!

I always call before I go so I can drop my vehicle off and pick it up the same day. Prices are decent and the work has always been great! They are more honest than most. Ive had other garages try to take advantage of the fact I am a woman thinking idk what is wrong with my vehicle or try to encourage me to do some unnecessary work but they never have! On top of that when I requested a service they informed me It was unnecessary at the time. I definitely recommend them

Only time will tell but they had by far the best price on my repair of the local places i called and it was complete the same day. One shop said almost 4 time more but it might not need all of it. Other was only 50% higher but they would need at least a days notice. They called with updated price after getting into it and price went up but it was understandable and fair. I will definitely come back and give them another try. When i called back to make sure they quoted correctly they seemed almost insulted that i thought they wouldnt live upto there price.Thanks for the service

Right in the heart of Fairburn honestly when I went to go get my emissions there was nobody even there I was in and out within moments I would suggest that you stop by because its not one of those locations thats on Id say like a main street where its a lot of traffic so if you just want to be in and out and get it over with this is definitely the spot or at least it was for me

Speak to Mr. James.. I am a maintenance tech and know the basics on cars but I had a problem that even stumped me. Guys I know car problems can be a frustrating experience but thanks to Mr. James personally I was reassured, calmed, and confident my car would get back in order.. not only is my car running at optimal performance, I gained a new level of respect for mechanics. For they are as transparent as possible and respect that everyone has their own situation. Thanks again

One of the best shops around. they take care of you and actually know how to work on cars not just change parts. the ladies in the office (especially megan and erin) are great to work with. they will call you and let you know the status on your vehicle and keep you updated. prices are fair and they do great work.

This place has had my vehicle in shop for what is going on 2 weeks now. They were supposed to have my vehicle ready in 3 days! Each time we check on the status, they give us a bogus date, and with little surprise my vehicle is not ready still. And now that they have removed my part from the vehicle, it is completely in their hands. A Family owned business should display better business tactics than these guys. Thumbs Down! Will Never take my vehicle here again!
