Sent them my car for a simple repair that should only have taken a few days. Its now been a month and the car hasnt moved once in their lot and Ive cant get any communication from the shop.

Kevin and the cashier lady are AWESOME! I noticed my tire was going to blow so I actually went to another place first and they were rude to me and could not take 10 minutes to help me. I called Rite Way and a VERY nice lady answered and told me to hang tight and she will get service department. Kevin answered! He was so professional and helpful. He said they were really busy but he can fit me in. Thank goodness!!! I would of been stranded. It took all of 15 min to get me in and out. The cashier was sooo nice. Im a customer for life. And....they are affordable!

Im a little late on this review but nonetheless, I had to return to write it because my experience was just that impactful. Unfortunately, I ran into a pothole and blew both my right tires while stuck on a blind-spot interstate curve. Already having used my spare, I needed towing and a replacement tire asap (I lived an hour out). To the rescue comes RAY!!!! This gentleman was literally the superhero to my entire day! Not only was he on-time (and let me tell you, these guys are busy, busy, busy), but he would not leave my side until I was 110% satisfied with my service and truthfully, safe at home. It was pretty late at night and all the tire shops were closed, I did end up spending the night at a nearby hotel, but Ray made sure my vehicle and I were in a safe and convenient place for the night. He helped me go through all my options, offered his time to get my vehicle anywhere I needed and literally waited for my Uber to arrive just to make sure I wasnt stranded in an empty parking lot alone at night! The next morning, my tires were replaced and I was heading home. Thank you is an understatement. 10/10 recommend.SHOUT OUT TO RAY!

Unless youre a guy, wouldnt recommend. On average, it takes 2 weeks to get my car back, and thats after hounding someone about it. Im done dealing with them. They do have one great tow truck driver!

I drive from independence to excelsior just to go to this shop. I love them, they are well priced, great service, great people.

I had a car stolen and once the police found the vehicle it was towed here. After talking to the receptionist twice, I was told all I had to do was bring cash to get my truck.Once I got there I had to get a release for my vehicle which was an additional 2 hours worth of driving and work. Then after paying $360 to finally release my vehicle I was called a liar because I tried to pick it up on Saturday and they told me I could wait until Monday and the fees would be waived.On top of all that... I asked if the vehicle was in running condition and was told yes it’s working completely fine...Got a full 10 miles down the road for the vehicle to completely shut down..Now waiting after 3hrs for another towing company to pick it up .It has been hell for me to work with them and I do not recommend anyone going through this company. I feel as if they don’t have the customers best intention.

The whole staff is amazing. They give you honest answers on what your vehicle needs every time. I take all of my vehicles to them. They have always been prompt whenever I have needed a tow. I recommend this shop anytime I am asked about a good mechanic shop or tow service. Love these guys!!!!

Made an online reservation for a vehicle inspection on a Monday. Went in to have the inspection completed on a Wednesday. Two men were sitting at the desk and asked how they could help. When I told them I had a reservation for a vehicle inspection the first comment was Who told you we could do an inspection? and when I told them I made the reservation online their response was Oh, our lady just got in. When I told them I made the reservation two days prior their response was simply Oh. They did tell me that their license was current due to the state being shutdown due to COVID - fair enough.Regardless, they had plenty of time to contact me and let me know. They werent rude but their demeanor indicated they were less then concerned that they didnt contact me. Instead they just told me to go somewhere else. Which I did. In their typical customer service focus Triple E Tire bailed me out. I should have gone there first.Not a horrible experience but Ill think twice before I try Rite-Way again. I certainly wont use their online reservations again.

I had my truck towed over the weekend. The events leading up to this are for another story. The reason for the 1 star rating is very simple. If you tell a customer you are a cash only business than carry change.We were quoted a $150 cash only town service fee. I showed up and had $160 in $20s because thats how it comes from the ATM, the driver said that the fee was $150 and he didnt have change. On top on having to pay an unexpected tow fee you than take additional money than what you are owed. Caution if you have this company tow your vehicle.

Was told by Gladstone dodge that my truck needed new rear brakes. They wanted 370 bucks said the rotors would need to be changed as well. Took the truck to allied and they called me and said that my brakes didnt need to be changed. They could have charged me the 150 dollars which was a lot better than the 370.and went ahead and changed them, but they were honest and did what was right.Larry Murphy

These guys are top notch. They are the best auto repair shop I have ever been to. Also, they pay out of pocket for coverage if you have to have a car towed more than once within a certain amount of time. Talk with them for the specific details on that. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to anyone. 👍

Paid over $600 for them to fix a leak. When the mechanic pulled it out of the shop the car was making noise (we confronted the mechanic, he admitted he didnt have time to complete the job and bleed the power steering system and told us to just drive the car). Drove the car a couple miles down the road and the car sounded horrible. Went back to the Manager Kevin. He said the same thing. Brought the car back a week later because it was making the same noise. Kevin said that he looked at it and couldnt hear anything (when the car was making an obvious noise that it never made in the 4 years I have had it). Brought the car back in a couple weeks later, still making the same noise but louder. They say this time its the idler pulley. We fixed the idler pulley and the car its still making noise. After taking the car to them 4 times, and paying over $600, they have still yet to fix the noise, and keep making excuses even after talking to the manager and owner. Dont take your car to them unless you want your car making noises that your car wasnt making when you dropped it off to them AND you want to waste more time/money fixing problems because their mechanics dont complete their jobs

I woke up to a dead battery in this bitter cold. Roadside service jump started it, and I headed straight to Rite-Way. I got quick, professional service. They checked my battery, and determined it was bad. They installed a new one, at a reasonable price, and I was on my way. Highly recommend Rite-Way for all your repair needs! Their great service made my cruddy day a whole lot better!

Bought a pair of tires for an upcoming roadtrip with Rosie (99 Toyota Avalon-317,000+ miles). Staff were friendly amd didnt try to up-sell me. They actually gave me pricing on a basic pair, first. Best tire place in excelsior springs. Staff and service were way above expectations, with a family atmosphere. I got 4 snow tires mounted and balanced close to closing time. Now I dont have to worry about my wife diving in the snow so she can get to work safely.

$300 for a tow is too much. Then you charge a $40 a day storage fee that you didnt tell us about in the first place.. If we would have know that it would not have been towed there at all!

I dropped my vehicle off on a Friday around Noon to have the oil changed and for them to figure out what was making a loud noise in the front of the engine and I then left and did some things around the city and never got a call so I figured Id drop by the next day before they close at 2 so at about 1:30 I went there and was told they didnt hear a noise and wanted to know it I still wanted the oil changed and being Fathers Day weekend I needed it so all my family could go visit with my parents so I took it home got the oil myself and found the A/C tensioner was not keeping the belt tight so I bought one replace it and saved myself a bunch of money doing it myself so its made me decide to go back to my old ways and start fixing things myself even though I would of preferred not to have to do that anymore. When they have time to work on your autos they do a good job but they need to stop taking in to much work if they cant get it done before they close.

They have more than reasonable prices and do a great job diagnosing, repairing, and communicating costs. It was alomost half the cost for us to tow our vehicle to them than to have the work done nearby. My only complaint is it can take longer than other shops. Oh If you need your car back quickly, make sure you communicate urgency up front, because they are not a jiffy lube by any means. If you let them know it is your only way to work, ect they will get it done faster. I keep referring people here because I trust them and know they will do the job right.

We had a damaged tire that couldnt really be repaired. To make things even more complicated....our truck tires where over-sized, and NOBODY had them in stock. These guys bent over backwards to get us back on the road. Their price was fair, and their customer service was outstanding. Thanks again guys!

Steer clear!!! I was 50 miles from home, and my truck broke down. They convinced me to take my truck to their shop to avoid towing overages. They called me back 4 days later, and they quoted me $180 to fix it. I then got a call back to say it would be $1,700 to fix a new problem. When I disputed the charge, they locked my truck up and demanded payment in full. They accept cash only so you cant dispute the charges later. Do these sound like honest people to you?

I refuse to take my vehicles here any more. My fathers car was scratched by workers when they removed the spare tire from his trunk. In my experience, the employees are rude, unprofessional, and lack morals like respect and decency when working with the general public.

In the last 2 years, Ive brought my 2001 F250, 4x4, 7.3 Diesel truck to Riteway Auto. I have even had to have it towed from Buckner, MO. I havent trusted service stations in 20 years! When I brought my truck to Riteway Auto, Kevin treated me like I was his family! The Owner Mr.D, sat and visited w/me for at least a 1/2 hr. Sharing personal stories and introducing me to business Associates. I have never felt more comfortable in a service station! They escorted me out to the shop, showed me the problem and then fixed the problem with the utmost professionalism, each and every time Ive ever had to bring my truck to them. He was told by AAA to bring a flatbed truck. he brought a regular tow truck. The car had a strut through the tire and could not be driven. He drove it anyway. the car is now smoking. Called in a complaint with AAA. He told me to get out of his way and shut up. He asked me what I would do differently and when I suggested that he should have brought the flat bed truck..he was very angry. Real ass.
