The prices and service was good for the most part. The problem is who they contract to install. The installers made alot of small mistakes and have never returned our phone calls to fix the issues. The selection was great and there was a fair amount to choose from at this store! I was able to get my questions answered in regards to product. However, the communication between the store and the installer the store uses is terrible and there was a major breakdown. I had an issue with the install and have been unable to get it resolved due to the communication breakdown. I believe the fix to be simple but it needs to be fixed by installer.

The guys there were very helpful, but let us browse the selections of carpet remnants on our own. No pushy sales tactics or hovering. Last year, my husband and I moved into a house that, while wonderful, had some of the most frightening carpets imaginable. Aside from extensive damage caused by children and dogs, Im pretty sure someone was murdered in our guest room, given the size of the reddish-brown stain in the corner. Seriously, it was a nightmare.My in-laws recommended Carpet Liquidators after purchasing a wonderfully plush carpet from them. We worked with Mike, who was beyond patient with us. He gave my husband and I appropriate recommendations, as well as space while we debated and examined and felt every carpet in that warehouse (multiple times). It took us over month to decide between several excellent quotes for their SmartStrand Silk line, but once we were ready, the contractor was able to fit us into his schedule and complete the replacement in no time at all. His team was professional, respectful, and wore masks inside our home at all time.Now, my husband and I can welcome guests without having to steel ourselves for the inevitable questions about the murder stain. The carpet is clean, gorgeous, and I still appreciate it under my feet whenever I get out of bed in the morning. We couldnt be happier!

We purchased carpet and laminate flooring. I would give the product and installation experience a 4.5 and the sales experience closer to 2-3 stars.CON:We booked our installation a month in advance only to be contacted on the Saturday before our Monday Installation and be told we were double booked and we had to change dates. It was super frustrating because we had already made hotel reservations we could not cancel without penalty and we had already disassembled furniture, packed and stored most of our items at this point getting ready for the installation. Not to mention had already requested specific dates for vacation in advance and had to ask if we could change them. I would have been much more understanding if they gave us more notice. It wouldnt be fair to publicly blast the sales person by name, because I do not believe any of it was intentional, however the situation could have been handled better. We finally agreed to move dates (as if we had a choice) to 11 days later (on a Friday). 4 days before installation, they called and said we had to shift dates to account for extra time that would be needed for prep work and ensuring the project would be complete on time. This again was frustrating because had the sales person talked to the installer beforehand or listened to me when I explained that they would need more than a day to complete our project, the dates would have been set properly and I wouldnt have had the added stress of having to request changes again to time off at work and rebooking hotel rooms. I did ask for compensation due to having to move and losing money on the hotel room but I felt like the response was to guilt me for asking. Hopefully it is a learning experience for them, however I will not likely work with them again in the future due to the experience.There are a lot of little fees that ended up adding up, but I imagine a lot of places have the same.PRO:The sales person was really knowledgeable about the product and sent whatever I needed when I asked. We took a couple trips down to figure out which carpet we wanted but the laminate I knew right away.The installer and his team were great! Our concrete floor was in really bad shape so I appreciate the time they took to fix it correctly before installing the laminate. they were on time and professional. I expected to come back and have to do touch up paint etc. due to them moving base boards etc. but we really dont have much that needs to be done.They were able to move furniture from room to room to compete the job as well as moving our heavy wood burning stove. One has to pay for this service of course but it beats having to move it all out. I just wish they would have told me up front they could do it. One of my coworkers told me to ask for it since I was running around wild trying to find movers etc.We are really happy to have floors we no longer have to tell people to watch their step on. They look beautiful!

Very helpful at picking out what carpet fit our family best. The install team was very fast and efficient. We love our newly carpeted stairs and bedroom.

Just called for information on their product that is sold to stores by different names. It is Karastan carpet that is made by Mohawk The man was rude and told me I didnt know what I was asking for. I was checking prices, all other new what I wanted Sorry Never call you again

We went Carpet Liquidators after going to a couple other places. We dealt with Melissa who was very knowledgeable and helped us choose the best carpet for our living room. The installation was scheduled and the installer came out to confirm measurements. The installers came in and we’re done in an hour! It was just a living and dining room but WOW! Super fast, very friendly and they did a quality job... back that up with a warranty on the carpet and an warranty on the install and it’s a win win! Ask for Melissa!!!

Such great prices, customer service and quality! We used them 5 years ago and have recommended them at every chance since then and just finished a 700 sq ft basement with new carpet, and whole process took one week from picking out the carpet, measurements and install! So great!

Great place to go to grab some carpet for the house. We were lucky enough to get a nice 11x9 pre cut carpet which was against the wall. It was on sale even onto of the price listed so the price was perfect for our budget. We have a toyota corolla and Michael Helped place the carpet in my car even after the dock was closed. Awsome customer service. Great selection and reasonable prices.

Cant remember her name but a lovely lady greeted us and pointed us in the right direction, then let us walk around and try and find a carpet that matched. We did so they wrote us up and I picked up my cut carpet a few days later. Simple and easy.

They have lots of inventory and fair if not great prices. Parking is tough to get in and out of, but can be worth the trouble

I bought carpet here and I installed it. I found out later most vacuum cleaners wont work on. It would be expected to be warned that the plush/silk carpet causes most vacuums to sink and suction into to the carpet which most carpet manufacturers wont cover damage from vacuums such as Dyson and Shark vacuums. I have drag the vacuum backwards to make it move (Dyson) and a shark vacuum wont move causing the rollers safety circuit to trip which turns the brush roller off.

We had an amazing experience with this company from start to finish!! All the employees were friendly and helpful. The carpet installers were fast and very hard working! We will definitely be returning customers.

My wife and I had a very discouraging experience with Carpet Liquidators. It started off smoothly enough, we found the wood flooring and carpet. The price seemed fair and we got a good deal on installation. Unfortunately, that is where the good news ends.To call the installation problematic feels like an understatement. The original job was supposed to take 4 days. It ended up taking slightly over a month to finish initially and after rework clocked in around two months.When problems arose, we tried going to Carpet Liquidators and immediately I was getting calls and texts from the installer not Carpet Liquidators. In my opinion, if my contract is with you, then you should be handling the contractor not me. Apparently they saw things differently.The contractor used two teams. One for the carpet and one for the wood.The carpet team left the house in poor condition and I would classify the time they spent in our home as unprofessional at best.The wood crew did a fine job on the flat surfaces. Unfortunately for us, it was the first time they had ever done stairs. There were a couple issues, uneven installation where there would be no trim and spliced stair cap being the biggest offenders. When they came back for re-work it ended up worse.By this time Carpet Liquidators was handling the contractor directly (finally) and they sent a completely new crew to validate our complaints and agreed to completely rework the entire stairs and with that we called the job done.So while my experience with Carpet Liquidators proper was for the most part satisfactory. The experience with the installation crew and the way that Carpet Liquidators initially handled the problems was less than satisfactory.When you subcontract, those people represent you and this review is a direct result of folks that drastically misrepresented Carpet Liquidators.

The customer service was horrendous! The staff, sitting right inside the door at their desks, didnt say hello or goodbye. They didnt even get up to help us find what we were looking for, just pointed in the general direction. And we were the ONLY customers in the store!! Wont even get into how rude the lady was on the phone (guess that should have been an indication).

Watch out for their hidden fees. Just when you think you are getting a great deal, the hidden fees started accumulating. I decided to go with another company due to their dishonesty. Shameful business strategy.

Beware of smoke and mirrors sales tactics. We were looking for new carpet for our homes 2nd floor. Home Depot first gave us an estimate based on 681 square feet. That seemed reasonable as the total 2nd floor area is 735 square feet. Carpet Liquidators estimate for carpet came to 996 square feet, a whopping 261 sq/ft more than our entire second floor. When asked how that could possibly be, we were told it had to do with the carpet nap. Ok, I still dont really believe that but we went ahead and ordered the carpet. Next we received the estimate which included 996 sq/ft. of pad. Since pad has no nap I questioned that and was told we had to purchase the same amount of padding as carpet. Ok, I need to buy 261 padding that we wont use??? Lastly, we were quoted a price to remove the old carpet. The price was based on 996 sq/ft. of carpet. Wait a minute, our entire 2nd floor is less than 735 sq/ft so why are we paying to remove 261+ sq/ft. of carpet that we dont even have. Their answer, The removal cost is based on the amount of carpet you purchase. I will never purchase from this company again, and will not recommend them to anyone. Time to get Jessie.

Very nice customer service.Though prepare for lots and lots of hidden fees. They told me that installation of carpet as cheap, he kinda mumbled the price to me like 30 bucks or whatever so I was like Oh cool, it must be a deal then so I continued.I found out that Carpet paid by the Square Footage is always based off the entire rolls size. So for example... Your room is 9 x 16. To me, the math for how much carpet would be 9 x 16 x 1.5 ( assuming your carpet is 1.50 a sqft ). Nope its 12 x 16 x 1.5. Not sure If this is normal, but I never knew this.And then the carpet people come and how fun its 300 dollars for installation for 2 rooms and they charged me extra because the foundation needed covering. Some reason that needed an extra 30 dollars.Now you could say I could have backed out before being charged but they lock you in by charging 45 dollars for a measurement which they insist on. So either way they got your money.I seriously dont think this place is cheap. It APPEARS cheap but it quickly adds up.2 rooms. One 15x15 and the other 9 x 17. Cost me 1,300 dollars. And these were with 2 remnants.Would not go back.
