Great, old school shop and parts counter meaning they know what they are talking about. Its my first stop whether my motor is 30 years old or 5. If they dont have it they will get it and it will be right. Great place for information and getting good understandable explanations of how things work. Top flight guys and gal lol
Customer be aware. Check printed work request before signing. Items added which they were told were unwanted services and slipped by customer. If you dont scrutinize you will be charged for service you did not want. Also I have been double billed for services and luckily noticed and refused to pay. Service mechanic was a wise guy, asked me if my boat had been submerged because throttle handle mechanism was corroded. Not even close to an accurate description of the condition of my boat. Too bad theyre the only factory authorized Suzuki dealer in the area. Front desk staff are courteous and seem to be attentive to customers which was the saving Grace of the business. Work that was performed for me seem to be done on a competent basis. Im a professional Marine engineer by trade with over 40 years of experience mostly working on large ships and boats however I now have advanced rheumatoid arthritis and Im unable to perform many of what I would consider basic jobs I rely on people such as this business to help me. I just do not want to be taken advantage of.
Had a motor swap done on my boat because I was told bottom end on mine was worn and contributing to the problems on the water I was having. Im familiar with engine installs/ swaps as I bought a 350 crate motor for a truck I had and experienced a swap before. Granted its not a boat motor but Im familiar enough. My boat is in fairly good shape but the motor was 22+ year old. It had broken down on me a couple times and with different people on board. how did I justify such an expense?Bought the boat for 4200, they quoted 10000! To replace motor. They told me with the new motor in it I could sell for 20000k. IThink recreation boats arent usually driven or cared for the way they should be.Anyways, I took the boat out on Goodwin and it ran sweet as sugar! Thank you EM!
Great business. We are first time boat owners and they give us great advice even on the couple of times we’ve gone in and didn’t buy anything. They never talked to us like we were stupid. When we went shopping for a kicker motor we went here to check out what they had. They had a really nice used Suzuki 9.9. They called me when it was ready so I brought our boat in to get the kicker installed, and I asked if they could also check an alarm the boat was getting. They had the boat ready earlier than expected and took care of the alarm issue. Really quite pleased with this place. The owner came out and talked to us and he seems like he really cares too.
Unfortunately we had our boat serviced @ performance marine this summer. We had multiple delays with little communicationfor 6 weeks. Finally my husband excitedly picked our boat up & launched it. Only to discover that the swim step from the back of our boat was missing.?My husband called to inquire that maybe it was removed during repairs? We were informed that it was never there? Prove it was said to us. I found a picture of our boat, clearly with a giant swim step on it. We emailed the picture to Kim the office manager. She swore up & down it never came in with one! I said “Well I guess this a problem”. I swear to god she said, “not my problem, your problem!” 😮 what? Are there surveillance cameras? Surely that would solve it, right? Well I’m sure you can imagine, nope. She told me flat out the only way she would believe that the swim step was there when it came in, was if I could provide a picture of the boat in front of their building! Ah well we weren’t that cunning & didn’t think something like this would happen so we didn’t take that precise picture. I myself being a small business owner mentioned my flat out shock for the way I was being spoken to! Clearly they must have a disrespectful clause in their company handbook because I literally have NEVER been treated like that before! So after 6 weeks in the back lot somewhere where the birds pooed all over it. The step vanished?Being my problem, with NO WAY IN THE BOAT FROM THE WATER, we had to scour the internet for a new/used step. Finally we found a jankie step, paid $300 because our children were desperate to tube & swim in the lake. Please, Please take your business somewhere/anywhere else!
I am so dang happy with Performance Marine. Brought my boat in for an issue. When I called and dropped it off I was told they were 2 weeks out. Well surprise surprise 2 days later.....done. Couldnt believe it. Customer service is amazing. If you want your boat worked on bring it here. Thank you Performance Marine.
Super friendly group that make you feel like a friend and not a customer. Fast service turn around and intelligent explanations of what they found. Really impressed with this business, the owner and his team of people.
Took in my crownline raw water cooled inboard.Over heating issue. They replaced impeller, water pump, and thermostat. They were very fast to replace those parts. Said they water tested and it was fine. Put the boat in the water still has same issue. Over heats at idle, cools down on acceleration. I believe its a blockage somewhere. Wish they had tracked down the issue instead of just selling me the common parts i could have replaced.
Outstanding customer service! This shop listens to what you want fixed or improved on your boat and they have the skill and experience to get it done right. Great old school atmosphere and a feeling you are working with pros. If someone asks me where to take their boat for work, I say Performance Marine.
Helpful people, excellent service and helps a lot to understand your boat
Had some pre season work done on the boat and they seemed very professional, honest and the bill was considerably lower than I expected. They will be my go to.
I walked in and gave Shannon my serial # off my motor and he was off to load a box for my project. He was very helpful. I’ll be back.
I have a 1994 Sea Ray 290 Sundancer. I started taking my boat to Performance Marine since 2016 after having a collision on some rocks. I ruined my propellers and the lower unit. I took the boat to Performance Marine and they fixed it. I ended up paying more than $7000 for the damage. I was happy after they fixed my boat BUT... on my next service I asked them to install a fish finder. They did, but they used the anchor switch to get power for the fish finder. I couldnt use the anchor anymore, I had to drive my boat back to get that fixed. On another service I took my boat to Performance Marine to winterize it and I paid more than $700 dollars and went I got home the toilet was full of urine and the waste tank was halfway full. I talked to Dave and he told me to put some antifreeze in the toilet, I asked him if we have to empty the waste tank first and he said it will be ok with the antifreeze.Every time I take my boat to them I leave with a bad experience and bad quality on the labor. The last time I took my boat it was about a month ago . I requested to replace both of the bilge pumps under the engine, replace the all around light, replace the impeller pump and to replace the oil pressure gauge. Dave called me to tell me the they have to replace the fuel pump also so I agreed. Dave called me to let me know the boat was ready, I went to pick up the boat on a Monday, I paid over $2750 dollars for labor and parts. Something I dont like is that nobody shows you the finished work to make sure you are satisfied. I requested that to Dave before and he said to me everybody is busy. I went to look at my boat and I found out the brake light in the trailer was broken. The all around light was the worst service ever, I dont know who fixed the light needs to find a different job, that mechanic used a drywall screw to hold the light in place and he left a 1/2 inch of the screw out and on the exposed cable he used electrical tape that looks horrible and its going to get burned by the sun. What kind of service is this? I got charged $70 dollars for the parts and 1 hour $125 for labor. The light is still loose and he only used a grinder to remove the screw. When I talked to Dave about not being happy with the service he shook his head and he told me to leave the boat. The day after, Dave left a voicemail that my boat was ready. I called them back saying i wasnt going to be able to pick it up until Saturday because I work in Seattle and i get off at 4 pm and i dont get enough time to drive to Everett before they close . They said it was fine, but i got more calls from Dave saying the boat is ready and is taking so much space you need to pick it up. Finally, I picked up the boat and took it home and looked in the engine and the cover for the carburator was missing the nut to hold it. I saw some water under the engine and i turned on the boat so I can use the bilge pumps and what a surprise, they dont work. I asked to replace both because only one was working and now none work. The oil pressure gauge wasnt even replaced. I asked Dave if it was working and he told me it was when it wasnt.I called Performance Marine and I requested to talk to the manager and they told me he was busy. I asked for his E-mail and they said he doesnt have one. REALLY??? A company this big and the manager doesnt have an E-mail? And they said we cant give you his phone number either.Im very disappointed. I paid a lot of money but every time there is an issue with their service. In my experience they dont care how it looks after or if the customer is happy.
I needed a high current battery cutoff switch for my solar system and Performance Marine had one in stock at a very reasonable price. The staff were friendly and helpful and the transaction was quick and smooth. Thank you for outstanding service today!!! 🤗
NO QUESTION THE GREATEST SHOP WITH THE MOST HONEST CREW... I cant begin to express the patience and knowledge I experienced with my re-power. My timing was terrible. Middle of summer and they somehow found time to replace outdrive and motor. The price was unimaginably great. My wife didnt need to kill me. Please dont waste your time or money anywhere else. PERFORMANCE MARINE 💯. THEY WILL KEEP YOU ON THE WATER.
These guys and gals are awesome! They helped me with a used part for $10 that got my jet boat on the river. If they cant do something, they will do anything in their power to find someone that can. This is the kind of shop where a guy could just stop by to say hi and BS, if they arent too busy.
I have Suzuki Outboards on both of my boats. Performance Marine has taken very good care of my boats motors keeping me on the water fishing when seasons are open. First class business and I highly recommend them.
After many months of restoring my grandfathers boat I was finally ready to take it in for the final touches. I made a call to Performance Marine and was rudely told that they arent going to touch my boat. When I asked for a recommendation of another shop I was told I dont know, why dont you do some research. I understand now that they have a policy of only working on newer boats, but I was not impressed with the rude and arrogant attitude from the service department, hence the 1 star rating.
Having issue with Panther T5. Was told it was bought over a year and half ago, wich was false. I reported it to them two weeks ago and we purchase it on 7/13/19. They have no customer service and didnt even look up to see that it was in warranty. Not to worry I contacted Panther and there taking care of it.
I telephoned my certified Suzuki mechanic for a 2 minute telecon, but he was unavailable, even for a call back. I went down the next morning, and was told he had left the building, and still no follow up to date about my Suzuki 300 in warranty. Not very considerate or professional!
Great service, had new manifolds, elbows, risers, sea water pump installed, The guys at the Dagmars shop are top notch. Very knowledgeable, and turn around time was spot on. Thanks for the good service. Will definitely be back. Parts guys at Marine view drive shop are great, very helpful, it’s a great place to do business.
Very good people and real good prices. Ill be going there again.
Very satisfied please take all my money!
These guys have helped us out of a few problems with engine parts, and they do a great job! The price is always right. Cant recommend them enough!
Great place for service/parts etc. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Had a lot of questions and they took the time to help me and answer all of my questions. Awesome service.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Solid work. Wonderful owner!
These folks have been great to me from day one. I keep my boat in their gated storage area. I know Dave at front desk for long time and he’s been helping me great deal with my boat, even my last minutes small requests, prop, etc. due to me renting my boat. Nothing but kudos to those guys, and their boat and product knowledge is immense. Emil A.
These guys are fantastic they have always had the part and if they didnt have the part they looked for the part theyve got reasonable prices and their honest love performance marine I will always go there for my boating needs.
The guys got right on it. Service professional and affordable.
Great service, fast turn around, more than fair prices, and people that know what they are doing! Ive never had a bad experience! I highly recommend them.
Great personal service guys know their stuff. Set up to have the boat serviced and they were straight up with the fact it was going to take awhile to get it done because they are packed and busy. Didnt try and guild the liley or sale me but honest I like that.
I was looking for a trailer for my boat and I called these guys up. They seemed fine on the phone but when I got there it was as if they didnt wantMy business. The guys at the counter knew nothing. The lead salesman acted as if he didnt care whatsoever. I will never step foot in this place again
We were initially impressed at their prompt service fixing our boat in the height of summer. After a $700 bill and areport of a great water trial,we were excited to take it out. We ended up stranded in the lake, with the same problem. They got us in andfixed it (after hanging up on me initially). But, THEY CHARGED US FULL PRICE. Horrible service. Steer clear.
I was a customer before ever being an employee. Very knowledgeable staff and the customer service is outstanding. The crew goes above and beyond to get what needs to be done within the timeline that works for you. I recommend them to everyone!
I took my boat to 2 other shops and they couldnt find the problem so I was frustrated and pissed off and was about ready to sell it. Decided to call performance and the were busy but they told me to bring it down. Jeromy and his crew instantly knew what the problem was and fixed it. I highly recommend them Thank you guys. I appreciate you helping me out
Always great service and most of the time have the parts great group of guys
Been a customer here for years! They take great care of me and my boat. There are not many businesses out there that go the extra mile for their customers. Great people, great shop, great service.
This business is great. After having major problems with brand X outboards I went to Performance Marine to look at Suzukis. After having purchased around 20 outboards from them since then I can say without question I could not be more pleased with the business and the motors. All of the staff are top notch and super friendly. Of the very few warranty issues that have arisen I can say that this shop has really come thru. Performance Marine and Suzuki have really stood behind their products. I use the motors in a rental environment and trust me it is the real test of a products durability. If you want the best outboard on the market and buy it from the best dealer around go to Performance Marine.
Great customer service. Always friendly.
I want to thank Jeromy for the work done on my boat. he installed a rear outboard bracket in place of my i/o. i was extremely nervous about the whole thing both price wise and time wise. it couldnt have been better he told me that i would have some work to do myself which i have since done.i will come back in the future.tyvm
Replaced the seals on our Volvo out drive at a fair price and turn around. The staff is happy to share tips on keeping outdrives lasting for years
I have been coming to Performance for years with my boat and many friends boats. Always helpful for DIY projects and getting the right parts and stuff. Service is great too my boat is the one your looking at pass u on the lake or sound!!!
Bought a used motor from these folks very helpful quite knowledgeable friendly and enjoyable to work with. The first place we shopped practically ignored us.
Total ripoff. Very expensive and bad quality. I would avoid going there at all.
Love the guys who work there and they turned our old boat into a brand new one. Could not be happier with the work they did for us
These guys run a class act shop! Doug saved my bacon, I have never owed Suzuki outboards and Doug is the most dialed in Suzuki tech in the business. I had 2 Suzuki 300s hung on our pilot house at a dealership on Vancouver Island not SG Power, that shop screwed me over so bad, once I had towed the boat over from BC and completed the 20 break in Doug saved me because that Canadian dealership installed all the gauges incorrectly to the point that I had an electrical fire, and not only did they tell me they installed new fuel lines they didnt and the old ones where badly cracked. Needless to say Performance Marine took care of me and made me a costumer for life!, not only did they do a great job on the work the pricing/labor was competitive and they got me in and out in a hurry, the best part is we keep the boat at Edmonds Dry Storage and come by water and they pick us up in there shop trailer and I dont have to deal with towing the boat!.Doug & Dave keep up the great work!Steve
Knowledgable Suzuki Marine Repair and Parts Center
Bought my boat here nice guys and strait forward on whats up with the boat
They always come through and do great work.
Jeromy is awesome to work with! Highly suggest a visit to see him for all your boat needs.
So I dont get how vastly different these reports can be, one says things went well, the other a day in hell. Whos monitoring the monitor? Personally Ive entrusted our classic to them, fully expecting at least some bumps along the way (who doesnt remember Jims L & M Marine?) which might be construed as bait and switch, but deliberate, wrongfull or incorrect repairs or replacement isnt evident, at least in our case, and theres plenty of opportunities to inflate the bill.....well see, since the complete bill has not been produced yet.I will say sometimes more information is not the best thing they can provide, because the regular Joe owner doesnt know a bung from a knott, and no amount of explaining will take the sting out of the bottom line.B. Break.O. Out.A. Another.T. Thousand. So far, great service, easy communication, through & concise description & expressed method choices.
I didnt actually go into the store just lurking in the parking lot in the wee hours of the nights darkness is most frightful while looking at trains.
Nothing but great service on my boat and friendly counter service.
Great customer service called today about questions for a part for a Yamaha motor and even tho they were not a distributor they told me what I needed and were to go
Took my Suzuki 2.5hp outboard in for service. Carefully explained to the clerk that the engine had ingested seaweed which plugged up the cooling system and now it overheats after running for more than 3 minutes above half throttle. Didnt realize till later that the clerk condensed all that valuable info into two words on the invoice: Engine overheats. Said theyd call when it was done. Waited for 3 weeks and they never called. I finally called them and they said it was done a week ago. Picked it up and they said the carb was dirty and charged me more than a brand new carb costs to clean it. Problem was not fixed of course, because nothing was wrong with the carb, the block was clogged with seaweed just like I told them. I also noticed they broke off one of the screws holding a cover plate on the carb. Took it back and asked for my money back since they took 3 weeks to do nothing to fix the problem. Refunded my money but refused to fix the screw they broke on my carb. Decided to fix the engine myself. Took it apart, cleaned out the blockages, and went back to buy replacement gaskets. Guess what? They have zero gaskets in stock. None. Had to order them online. They claim to be an authorized Suzuki service center but they are worse than useless.
Bad service- bad prices-boorish attitudes
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Theyll even refer you in the right direction if they dont know or dont have what you need.
Great place to work and best marine service in town. At Dagmars Marina now too.
Purchased various parts here with no issues. I’ve tried to use their service department multiple times over the years, but they never seem to answer the phone during business hours.
Old man at the counter was rude. I will not be back .
I wouldnt touch that place with a 100 pole.
Great marine dealer!
Little overpriced but worth supporting a local store like this, akways helpful, Will be back
Knowledgeable customer service! Thanks!
Always excellent
Horrible customer service by Triston! So unprofessional. Never going there again.
