Ok place for an oil change/ tire rotation but that’s it. They (Everett location) are either crooks or incompetent. I won’t bore you with the details of my situation (it’s long) but there’s a reason why a good shop has a 2-3 week waiting list nowadays and these guys don’t. Buyer beware!

I had my car worked on at Meineke 3 times to get the brakes fixed. Each time they told us the brakes were done, they felt worse than when I brought the car in.I finally took the car in for a second opinion to Midas, they got us in right away and diagnosed the issues immediately. They were so patient and kind and extremely professional. I will be getting all of the services needed on our cars done at Midas from now on. It feels relieving to find a mechanic that’s honest and trustworthy.

They broke the drivers side window while my car was in their shop in Everett WA. Not a single mention to me that it was broke, nor did they respond to a message stating it had been broke during the service.Still have no clue why they rolled a window down to fix a muffler

Ive gotten my oil change done in this place 3 times, the first time was fine. The second time after the oil change was done, the car had a problem with the fuel pump all of the sudden. Which I had them fixed. The third time I did an oil change with them, literally the same day, Check engine light turned on and AC stopped working. I went to the shop today, to get it checked and the reason for my check engine light for turning on is that the Oil filter was not tight enough and now I have to replace the AC Compressor and Condenser. Seems like theres always problems every time I go here so Im definitely not coming back.

Very pleased with the service I received today. I had my brakes done. Expensive, but 100% due to me waiting too long to have it done. Joe was very good and even cut my overall cost down for me by the time I paid. They get it with the times the way theyre right now. The mechanic, didnt catch his name, even came in to explain everything to me thoroughly and was amazing. Highly recommend!

After 7 years of good service, a mechanic at midas made my car inoperable, by crushing a fuel line, twice. Im lucky I got home before my car quit running. A month later, Im still without a car, since Im on a very limited budget with social security. Thanks for nothing

I am parked with 2 kids in the car waiting for my wife to finish shopping. A slim medium height white guy in a Midas coverall with salt n pepper hair not wearing a mask and with glasses backed in a red coupe next to me outside the Midas repair bays and opened the door hard into my car door. I was parked to shop at Grocery Outlet which shares a parking lot with Midas. He did not apologize. I said hey you hit my door! Still no apology but he said there was no damage dismissively. I notice the door on the red sports car has many chips in the edge that hit my car. I pity the customer whose car that is. Clearly Midas does not train their employees in customer service or to keep cars in their charge undamaged. Later one of their other workers comes out with the same guy who hit my door and says that is their parking stall even though it is unmarked and has no sign saying so. Again, zero remorse. No wonder Midas is renowned for being jerks and rip offs.

They did a good job repairing my car an had it done on time an the counter people was the best. It is going to be my repair shop from now on

I used these guys twice both i regret tremendously.. First time I was almost bamboozled for more money because the mechanic that started my oil change was running short for time an wanted to go home when it was time to leave. The second time Ive had brakes done and as of now there will be a pending lawsuit real soon. Save yourself time and money and dont use these bums/criminals.

I dont understand why a brake check costs $72. I ended up not getting it done because it was going to take an hour and had elsewhere to be. The tech also did not where a mask when he got into my car which makes me very uncomfortable when we are in a pandemic. I am glad I did not spend a ridiculous amount of money and ended up going elsewhere to get a brake check.

Went in to get a quote on some custom exhaust work. Met Joe up front who was very nice and forthcoming. Set up an appointment to have my mid resonator removed and install two mufflers in place of my old ones. The technician “suggested” that I just start with the resonator delete. So I did. Afterwards the sound was horrible! So I had set up an appointment 2 days later to have it fixed. After being greeted at the door once again by Joe. The technician that had done the work previously pulled me OUTSIDE to ask “where did I get off” on writing why I had come back to get the work re-done! after that I will NEVER GO BACK HERE AGAIN!! I lost a little over $600 to have my exhaust sound NOTHING like I wanted will be getting some more work done to fix the issues!

At first I was a little hesitant due to the negative reviews but I took a chance anyways and was more than satisfied with the services rendered.

The people here area so great, theyre friendly, knowledgeable, and always give the best service. We dont go anywhere else.

Im in their parking lot right now with an appointment between 5-6pm and when I arrived at 5:10 they refused to do my oil change. I left work early to make it to this appointment and there was nothing that said it would be cancelled if I wasnt there at 5 sharp. I cant believe this place and their terrible customer service, dont go here.

Nice people here. Took me in and worked on my truck when I suddenly had issues. May take longer than expected for your repairs. Definitely advise making an appointment, if possible.

Very honest folks. Klein Honda told me my vehicle needed rear brakes. Midas said I still had a good 15-20,000 miles till I should consider getting brakes replaced.

They have always been honest and good with my cars. Recently twice I went in with different issues on my car, and both times their quote was better than competing people around them.I also thought something was wrong with my engine that wasnt and they wouldnt charge me for it because it wasnt wrong and they fixed the simpler issue which was a $45 hose instead of several thousand what could have been wasted routing in the engine for the wrong thing. Theyre kindand as far as I can tell are very honest. I will continue to bring my car here as I have for many years

I had been a customer of Midas for 7-8 years. I did not have any problems until recently when I had control arms, ball joints and brakes done. I had to return to the shop to have those same issues looked at 5-6 times since they were replaced and this last time was the final straw. Having some jerking from the brakes...AGAIN... and a clunking noise when going over bumps. After being charged $100 to have the pads refinished, which should have been included in the warranty they always boast about, I was told that there was no other issue and I shouldnt worry about the clunking noise. I immediately went to two other shops and both came back with the same conclusion of the parts I had replaced at Midas were causing the clunking. The shop that did the work this time told me that the ball joint was so bad that they had to melt it to get it out and they ordered the CORRECT control arm for my car. Since then, not a single sound or problem in 3 weeks! The only sound I hear now is of course the brakes that Midas originally replaced. Midas did reimburse me for the control arms and ball joints. However, that does not makeup for the horrible service, rides I had to get from friends, time missed from work, the inconvenience of not having my car and needing to pay to have my breaks done again. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!**UPDATE**I was contacted by Midas (the response below)and they wanted to resolve the situation. I stated that the only way to resolve the situation was to reimburse me for what I spent on the brakes so that I could go get them redone correctly. No one has replied!!!

Went here to get an oil change on my 2004 Mazda, after they completed the oil change they came out with a list of all the things that needed to be fixed for $1,200 that day. I told them I would do it another day and immediately took my car to my Mechanic friend who works for another Auto Repair Shop.He checked my shocks/struts that Midas said were leaking and needed to be replaced; they are in perfect condition and do not need to be replaced.He checked my air filter that Midas said needed to be replaced; it was white, barely dirty and did not need to be replaced.He checked all my fluids since he was looking at my car anyway and noticed that I had ZERO break fluid, when Midas had said that all my fluid were full.ALWAYS get a second opinion; I cant tell you how many times Ive been screwed over by Auto Repair shops and Midas wont be the last.

After a major break down right after having major suspension work, Midas had no problem stepping up to plate and making certain we got our old work car back on the road for deliveries . One company that actually should be am e ample to most in the fact that they have indeed took care of us and made certain by days end we were safe, with running vehicle. They went the extra mile which has landed them our choice mechanic for our business and our family. Thank you Midas. Job very well done.

Not more than 20 minutes after I pick up my car with nearly 200k miles on it and it never left me stranded it broke down be use these guys damaged something. I had to leave it after spending 1700 in repairs only to have to break down forcing a very long walk. These guys are going to be sued and your an iduot to trust them with anything.Update: Midas has raised the bar with customer service excellence in my situation. They more than compensated for lost earnings and made necessary repairs by days end including complimentary towing and services. They even added a few extra services on top of that. There were no questions resistance or problems with my demands. I was sincerely impressed with the manner in which this was handled. They have gained my loyalty for future repairs. You have high honors in service and customer satisfaction. Thank you for making a nightmare a sound slumber.

Great place and they give it to you straight with what you want and need. They dont try and push things on you that you dont need yet. Very friendly service as well.

When I made my appointment I was quoted a price for the work I was requesting. When I arrived the next day before the work was to start I was given a bill for almost twice the price. When I questioned why the price was so much more he said the was the cost. I told him the about the price I was quoted and after looking at the computer he said he would do it. 20 minutes later he came back to me and said the part I brought him was aluminum and that he didn’t have the equipment to weld aluminum. Clearly the part was stainless and labeled so, which I pointed out. He said a magnet wouldn’t stick to it, I told him a magnet wouldn’t stick to stainless. He then said he couldn’t weld stainless either. I told him the stock exhaust was stainless and he denied it. Obviously he just didn’t want to do the work at the quoted price. What exhaust shop can’t weld stainless?

Epic fail! My vehicles both sounded horrible and one was running rough. On top of that I recieved my vehicle back with the engine light still on they only cleared the code instead of finishing the job. Charged me for a diagnostic test but failed to diagnose my evap detection pump needed to be replace not the code cleared. What made me seriously question why I went here instead of my regular mechanic was that I pulled out of the lot with my vehicle and a tire bolt was loose how they didnt hear it when they pulled it out the shop I have no idea... 🙄 I wouldnt suggest this place anywhere is better than here...

Truly a place that cares about the customer. They will tell you what needs to be worked on and not try to up sale you on something you dont need. I got in and out quickly and the cost of an oil change was about the same as if I did it myself.

Yesterday I went to Midas everett to change my car oil, they did it very quickly and they were very helpful.BUT ... after I returned to my work I found the dashboard was broken just beside one of the AC opening !!!I am wondering how the guy broke it ? Why he is working careless like that ????Why he didnt tell me ???This is non professional at all .

What they do here is highway robbery. My vehicle just needs his muffler wield back on, but they were trying to sell me a whole new exhaust system. Dont go here, they will mess up your car and over charge you. Im glad I have a trusted auto shop that pointed me in the right direction. Which is away from here. Very far away.

AMAZING! Brian the manager was great. He never tried to rip me off. He was honest and acruly cared. Being a woman in a car repair shop, its def obvious when you are being intentionally ripped off. It was fast, honest and great customer care. I highly highly recommend them. It was my first time and im a life time customer now.

Had an estimate sent to me for plugs and wires. Got back a fair price. Called and scheduled appointment along with oil service. Car was in shop in matter of mins. Manager called back and said that he recommended replacing Valve Cover as minor oil leak was apparent. Agreed, knowing previously my car was leaking oil....They called a few hours later to pick up. Manager found a promotional deal and saved me $50 bucks. Thanks guys!

I found a nail in my wifes tire on our BMW X5. After waiting quite a while they brought it in then after a while longer they told her ....We dont know how to patch RUN FLAT TIRE .Seriously; Midas has been around since the 1970s. Your a tire shop. How can you not know how to patch a tire? Run flat or not!!!Sorry midas but youve lost my business. Discount Tire knows how to do it. Get some training done midas. You wasted our time!!!!

I used to be dedicated to Les Schwab for myself and my wifes vehicles. But after a few instances where things would mysteriously go wrong with one of our vehicles in their care. I decided to look at other places.Now last year, sometime in October I believe. I had gone to Les Schwab to get my tires and brakes checked. They informed me that my brakes would be in need of replacing soon. That my front brakes were at 3mm(?) And my back brakes were at 5mm(?).However, when I got my tax return this year and finally had the money to get my brakes replaced. I decided on going to Midas. There, they informed me that my front brakes wouldnt need replacing for awhile. But my back brakes needed replacing immediately. After asking for a double check on that bit, the answer remained the same.So I approved the work, which included a direly needed oil change. And a recommended alignment due to my vehicles age and mileage.The work went smoothly and quickly as far as I know. And when I got my vehicle back(2010 Elantra) I could suddenly stop on a dime and get change back. The engine was running smoother and back to being nearly quiet. And the alignment was noticeable as well.I would recommend giving them a chance, and comparing your results for yourself.If you have the chance, take your vehicle to Les Schwab first. Get there answer and get to Midas for their answers.Personally, I am no longer going to Les Schwab and sticking with Midas from now on.Also, oil changes at Midas come with a free tire rotation. As theyre both recommended at 3k miles, its nice to only pay for one and get both.

I took my sons car in for a wheel alignment. Everything seemed fine until I put the car in reverse. The front left brake caliper had a part missing and was not secured. I called them back and left a message since they were closed. I may have to call the police on this one. My son could have been seriously injured or killed if the brakes failed. There was no issue with the brakes when i took the car in.

My car had overheated and they got me in and replaced the thermostat same day! I was taken care of and back on the road for my Devils Tower road trip. Thank you!

I went here for an oil change and have been experiencing brake issues ever since. I went back in to have them look at it at my brake fluid level was low, so they topped it off with no charge. Two weeks later my brake light kept coming on again, so I went back to Midas assuming I had a brake fluid leak somewhere. They looked at my brakes for free and then told me there was definitely a leak and they wanted to try replacing the front calipers to see if that would fix it... oh and it costs $360 but theyre not sure if that would fix it! They actually had no idea where the leak was but were going to charge me to try something that might work. So I went somewhere else for a second opinion and sure enough, the leak isnt in the calipers at all but in the master cylinder! The mechanic at this place is amazed that they didnt catch that! He also told me that they made a mess of the brake fluid and its all over ALL my calipers. So hes gotta clean them before he can check for leaks. I am so pissed, Midas was CLEARLY trying to take advantage of me as a woman, and as someone who didnt know much about cars. They were going to completely rip me off and probably make the problem worse so I would keep spending money there to fix the problems they caused in the first place!!! This place should be shut down, it is completely unacceptable to run a business this way, and I will be reporting them to the BBB!

I first went to Midas for my brakes and to check out an issue with my reverse lights. They gave me a fair estimate and explained what was needed, and what my options were. I had them do the work a few days later and even let me know that they couldnt figure out what to do with my reverse lights, and they wouldnt charge me for looking at them.I came back to them several weeks later for work on my power steering. I arrived after hours to drop off my car, and the owner was leaving the store as I was filling out my drop off packet. He offered to take my keys inside to the desk, instead of dropping in the drop box. Again the work was done within a few hours, and I was called along the way letting me know what exactly they were going to do and when it was ready.Both visits they staff were friendly and got the work done on time and with no hassle. Unlike some shops they didnt pressure me into getting work I didnt want. Ill be back in the future whenever I need work definately.

Dont bother making reservations online. They never called me back. I tried FOUR times and each tine they were very busy and were unable to confirm the reservation.

Very slow work, slow responses, not one return call, loss of paperwork, very disorganized group at this location.
