They have a lot of local foods that the big box stores won’t carry.

Bathroom not clean, barely any employees (the few they had seemed overworked), shelves were messy and bare. Alot of dairy was expired or close to it.. They used to have this really nice guy who knew what he was doing, it was Jared or something like that, he would have never let the store get this bad. Seems like they have trouble retaining the good ones while they hold onto the lazy one who dont seem to care.

Wow what a great trip to the schnucks on Green River road. The lines are moving fast even though it was the holiday season. Great prices on ham and Boars Head meat. I also found the pharmacist to be very helpful in helping me find medicine to make me feel better for a head cold. Truly a one-stop-shop experience. I would recommend this grocery store to anyone on the east side.

Schnucks are great stores. Good seafood variety and separate meat counter. They have excellent alcohol choices, wine, bourbon, beer, etc at very good pricing. Boarshead meats, fresh foods, and ever other option you could want. Just an overall quality store.

I am handicap. It seemed the set up to get a cart was all wrong. When you go in you have to walk the across the store to get a cart. To leave again you have to walk the width of the store to get to handicap parking. Not good for some one like me.Love the store. You have great deli.

For Carmen in the Floral Department on Green River Road, Evansville, IN.We lost our brother Sherman Cook on the way to our Siblings beach vacation. We realized Sunday that no one had thought to order the funeral spray fro his children/ grand children. Schnucks was the only open florist. Carmen at the florist was so compassionate and helpful. I sent her a photo of an arrangement and she started creating it at 6 am Monday morning and had it ready and delivered to the funeral home by 8:30 for a 9 am viewing and service at 2 pm. She went way above and beyond to help us during such a difficult time for our family. The spray was more beautiful than the photo I sent! Thank you Carmen

I want to recognize Carmen in the floral department. My brother suddenly passed away this past week and with the grief of our family we overlooked an arrangement for his children. When Carmen heard on Sunday she put together the most beautiful arrangement within hours had it to Koehler funeral home in Boonville. Words can’t express how deeply grateful my family is for Carmen.

Last couple times Ive been in there around 5 p.m. they had no chicken ready they were cleaning the fryers and they had two people working the checkout line and line was backed up 15 people deep trying to check out

I went to get an 8 piece chicken dinner at the deli, and they dropped a piece. They didnt put in my dinner, but they put it back into the serving warmer for the next customer. My chicken was cold as well as the rest of my meal. Go to Newburgh schnucks. Better service and better food.

Amazing I got my sushi they had my pita pockets alfalfa green onions mushrooms and Colby cheese and swiss cheese. Then they had some avocados my cilantro and limes and my purple chopped I enjoyed the shopping Ill be back

This door is reasonably priced even though there are lots of others cheaper I feel they have the best quality of food and the largest selection. Fresh fish bone are always available as well as fruits they have seafood and a huge lunch meat and cheese selection. They also have items that arent normally found in this area.

Excellent selection of beers for a grocery store. The store was very spacious and clean. They have a wide variety of foods and a very good salad bar. Nice location in suburbia.

Didnt find everything we wanted.

Usually i have nothing but good to say about this franchise but today i was less than pleased. While understanding the limitations due to covid19, we made it a point to call before going. We had official documents that needed to be faxed and was told over the phone that although the front desk was closed, they could still do faxes. We live in newburgh and have a 3 wk old baby which we had to gather up as there were other errands to run. Upon arrival we were rudely told we arent doing faxes. My fiance stated we specifically called this store and was told to ask for some one to assist and theyd do the fax for us and theu listed the pricing. They wouldnt do anything since we didnt have the name of the rep who spoke with us before we arrived. So we ended up driving to the other side of town to fax papers at our job for free.We were willing to pay to fax these papers just to avoid having to go well out of our way but instead we wasted gas and time due to employees giving misinformation. Im dissapointed because schnucks has always been a favorite. We chose you guys over walmart because the selection and prices are so much better. Now im certainly rethinking this.

I LOVE SCHNUCKS, this is one omw home, I like to stop by after work, its more convenient for me, but every time I do... something shows its on sale!!! When I get to the check out point, it doesnt show the sales price, at all and it takes forever for someone to verify the sales ticket... or I been told the ticket was placed wrong by an employee or the entire isle of, for example, paper towels was placed wrongfully and it wasnt actually on sale. A very few times it made me feel like I was accused.... and this is not how a customer should feel. The store is clean and organized, some associates very friendly but pricing and checkout needs improvement. Thats only reason why 3 stars!

Today is Mothers Day and I just thought itd be nice if I got my mom flowers as a surprise and of course I went to Schnucks because they have beautiful bouquets and a good variety to choose from. My sister said she did it once and that so should I, that I should pick out flowers and then get a bouquet made, so I did just that. I went to the desk and asked one of the florists if they made bouquets because I wanted to get one made and her response was yes. She went back to working and I stood there and she didnt say anything and so I asked her if I just tell her what flowers I wanted and they make it or what exactly I was suppose to do because Ive never done this before. She stared at me and said, Oh you wanted it now? Well all we have is whats out there. and she just pointed towards the flowers. I was very confused and just said to her politely, Oh okay. So I went to pick out a bouquet and went to check out and a different little girl was there and I paid for the bouquet and the little girl asked, Do you want these wrapped? and I politely said, No thank you. Then she just turned her back from me and started doing something and I was very confused if she was done with checking the bouquet of flowers out or not because she never ever said anything. I assumed she was done so I grabbed the bouquet from across the counter and just left. It may not seem like a big deal but it just upset me with how unhelpful both of the girls were. Many people in our younger generation today dont seem to understand just how important good customer service is nowadays.

This place is not like your normal chain grocery store while yes certain things are priced too high they also have a larger selection than most big-box stores. They have an amazing produce section A large Meat selection a very good beer Wine Liquor area. Sometimes the lay out of the store is a little hard to understand and navigate but since its not my regular store that is understandable. Awesome selections of cheeses seafood and meats.

Great place for groceries with plenty of healthy options. This is the best place to shop in Evansville. Plenty of organic options including milk from pasture grazed, antibiotic free cows. Thats just awesome.

Had misplaced my debit card and last remembered using it at Schnucks self-checkout. A manager searched their lost & found and told me that nobody had turned my card in. Then he went into a back room and, based on time/date recorded on my receipt, reviewed security video of me at the checkout kiosk the previous day, and was able to tell me I took my card back and put it in my pocket - very helpful in retracing my steps, narrowing down the possibilities & eventually recovering my card. Yay, Schnucks.

Four times within a month we have been overcharged for booths ranch oranges in produce by one dollar a bag. We have talked to three different people. The service desk and two cashiers who talked with produce. No change has been made to price. My husband was in again Friday and the price was still $8.99 instead of $7.99. He was so frustrated from his experience with the deli he left and paid the higher price. The deli is another story. Twice in the past month we have waited and no one will look up when they come out of the back where they are working. You can hear them having a good time but, not worried about customers. I was not the,only customer waiting. They told me on two different other occasions to come back in 7 minutes for chicken fingers and no one is to be found when I do. All still in back. It seems to me this cant possibly be happening all of a sudden to just me. Something is terribly wrong with your management. Sorry but, you can definitely tell a difference in the stores service to the customers and the timeliness of taking care of errors.
