Nice place to do some grocery shopping, the store is very clean, well laid out, and has a good selection of items. Wait time was a bit long at the checkout line, but once at the cashier went quickly.

Schnucks West Side is my forever grocery.Best in the West service, weeks groceries under $80 dollars. Being on fixed income, this is marvelous.

Shelves are always stocked and the produce is always fresh. The bagging needs some work, though. Things as simple as bagging cold items with cold items and separating different kinds of meat get ignored. Ive started asking to bag my own groceries because of this, even though it slows the line down.

If I could give 0 stars I would! I am more than displeased with this company they won’t pay my girlfriend for the hours she has worked ! She is the florist at the west side schnucks and she hasn’t been receiving her pay, she has tried to work with the managers to get paid and they tell her she has to call the corporate office. When we call corporate they tell us it’s an internal problem and they can’t help…. They won’t let her set up direct deposit and they won’t give her a check for her hours that she has worked! We have been waiting over a month. We have filed a claim with the department of labor to try to help, I will make sure none of my family, friends and customers from my business don’t shop at schnucks. They don’t care about their employees and don’t pay them on time !

The only grocery we shop at. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The employees always treat my little girl special.

Absolute best experience in any store possible. I ordered groceries through insta cart and while i was waiting for my order the kindest man named marvin came over to greet me he then went to check on my order after he came back to update me i watched him not only greet people walking in and out but wave at cars as they left. This man had such a contagious smile and a kind courteous spirit. I kind of hope i forgot something on my list so i can go back and be greeted by him again he was that amazing. Schnucks is now my new favorite place to shop strictly because of him.

I like this grocery store. Not the best prices in town, but its well stocked, pretty clean and organized. Their biggest down falls are,.. theyre pushing the self check out. WE HATE THAT and they dont have enough baggers like they used to.

This is a great store. Prices are more reasonable than many years ago. There was a day I went was before the Snow storm!! It was so crowded I waited 45 min in line to just check out. The line was all the way back by the milk aisle and wind around the cold aisles! Surprisingly I was able to shop in those aisles as I moved up the line. Lol. So overall went well. The store handled the volume best they could. Checkout staff were friendly still by the time it was my turn so to me that says alot about how great the staff are!! With that much business going through in a shift. They really make the experience worth coming back! Prices remain reasonable too!! Location of store is perfect and nice area of town. Plenty of parking too. Overall great experience. Plus instacart comes there to shop for you when you cant so plus!!

A decent St. Louis-based grocery chain with plenty to choose from. Highlighting St. Louis staples such as: Gooey butter cakes, Imos provel pizza cheese and sauce, to pasta sauces from various locations on The Hill, to Ted Drewes frozen custard, to Giola Delis frozen pizzas. An excellent produce selection, as well as bakery, with a great rewards program to boot. Its a great alternative to shop if you want to avoid the mayhem coming from Lloyd Expressway.

So today Friday February 12th was not a great day for shopping. The place was crowded with people who were getting ready for Snowmaggedon 2021. But there staff really had there act together and made a rough shopping day fairly easy. GOOD JOB GUYS 👦 👏

Fried chicken was good & moist reasonable price. Feed a group of 12 with 3 boxes still had a few pieces left over. I suggest calling it in for freshness.

The customer service was excellent. I couldnt find what I was looking for and was given all the help I needed to find the items. I was also given a special tip about the cottage cheese. Found the best cottage cheese and saved some money at the same time.

I like the store, but the prices are a little high. But they have checkers so I do not to scan my items. So for me the extra price is worth it.

For a grocery Id say Schnucks lays somewhere better than average but not super high end. Its for sure the middle class store, where you might shop if you need to be certain that what you are getting is worth the money, without breaking the bank. The average price for non discounted items is higher than you might find at a dump like Walmart, but their sales prices are hard to beat.

Everything was well stocked. Only thing that lacked was sanitizer wipes and I also didnt see anyone wiping down self check outs like at other stores I frequent. In times like this thats important.

I wont buy fruit anywhere but Schnucks.

I go here for my groc. Always clean and stocked well.

I love shopping at Schnucks. The prices are good. The produce is fresh. The employees are exceptional. Constance works in the meat department and is very helpful. You can tell that she wants the best for customers.

SUGGESTS customers wear masks. Requires vendors and employees to, though its rarely if ever actually enforced.All of the self checkouts are open simultaneously so inconsiderate customers have the option to cram into a small area three feet apart.Go at a slow time of day and you can easily dodge the plague-spreaders.

I really appreciate their selection of gluten free products. In addition to some favorite breads and crackers there is a large case of frozen pizza, bagels, pasta and much more to choose from that is handy.

I was in there shopping was checking out cashier very nice and friendly. The bagger a young girl named Sarah was not friendly and tried putting all of my canned goods in one bag and had to have her rebag them.so my bags wouldnt bust out and was rude about it

Nice produce section

Nice place to shop. They have a pharmacy, flower shop, deli, bakery, and meat counter. They also offer complimentary coffee at the service desk. If you need to cash in your change, they have a change machine. My granddaughter loves going here because they have the kiddie carts to push around. Some stuff is a little high compared to other stores but its worth going here to avoid the crowds and long wait times in checkout line.

They have some fun things to hang outside.

They have a very good selection of fresh vegetables, theyre butcher shop has great cuts off meat along with specialty offerings. They carry Dewig German bologna, burgers, and sausage burgers. Theyre wine/beer selection is very good as well. Lastly, they got new carts a few months ago that are a dream to push.

While Schnucks tends to be a little more expensive than other places, its always very, very clean inside. The aisles are wide and well laid out, and the staff is always very friendly. Its always an enjoyable experience shopping here!
