Walked into an empty store w my cup of ice and was told I had to leave because we dont allow food or drink in the store. (Goggle) we know youre just in here but saying it chipper doesnt make it kind. I understand the policy when children are policy or even when liquid is present. Not a cniquereat sales technique.
Ladies were great my son loves his birthday bear, snuggled him and slept immediately
I love the woman who wrote here they are so helpful and understanding.😘❤💯
Was fun watching my friends daughter enjoy building her unicorn and liked how the employee there helped her make a magical experience! 😁
Micah was amazing during the Heart Ceremony and they had Tom Nook! 10/10 awesome experience
There was a girl by the name of Kaeleigh she was the nicest and made my child so happy. She was a very bright girl. I will request her to all my friends
Friendly staff. Fun experience. As always tho, be prepared to drop a hundred bucks per child.
Had fun building a bear friendly staff comfortable environment.
Nice and friendly staff. Great service. Custom Bears for kids and adults.
Today I drove 2 hours to get to this build a bear with my little cousins. I don’t get to see them very often, so I wanted to surprise them by getting the baby Yoda build a bear. Online the store says it closes at 7pm. We arrived at 6:20 pm to see the gates closed & a printed typed up paper taped to the glass that stated In fine print under their new hours that they close their line one hour to 30 minutes before the time they actually close. I proceeded to explain to the worker how long it had taken us to get there and how excited they were. (I even offered to order them online so we did not have to go into the store.) The worker told us that would not work and there was nothing she could do. Needless to say my cousins were heart broken. A wasted 4 hour trip. I understand we are in a pandemic, all I as is that you update your store hours online so this does not happen to anyone else. (I also don’t think corporate Build a Bear would appreciate you turning away customers 40 minutes before actual closing time)
I purchased 2 Baby Yodas with 5 sound buttons and 2 personalized voice buttons. My total was over $125. Upon receiving the stuffed Todays one had been stitched on the seam on the head. There is a thick brown stitch sticking out on the green head. I told the associate that I was not happy with it and was told that it was their procedure and they couldnt make me another one without scraping the one I had out because of Covid. I agreed to take the one that was made, but told the associate that I was not happy about it. I feel that the Baby Yoda should have been changed immediately be for stuffing it and selling it to me. Not a Happy shopper.
Went to the Evansville, IN Build A Bear store in the mall and the sign on the door says temporarily closed. Checked online before we left and says open today. Would have not drove an hour if I would have known they were closed. Update your website!
Me and my gf go here every Friday to purchase ourselves some bears. Were two big kids. Everytime we go its always a great experience. Just yesterday I finally got my hands on Grogu(baby yoda) and my gf got an army bear. Our collection is continuing to grow. Ive got a Rey bear, a harry potter bear, a red raptor, Olaf, stitch, light fury and we just ordered a purple t rex and fuzzy bunny with the $50 worth of gift cards we got for $25 on our last visit which also make great gifts. The staff is always great and friendly we just ran into Lauren a new girl we havent met before on our last visits yesterday. As long as the store continues be a great experience well continue to shop there. Our list of bears we plan on adding to our collection continues to grow and mothers day is coming up soon which will mean yet another visit lol. We both highly recommend it
Bringing my girls here for years! Always have a great experience!
If I could not give a star i would the staff especially Lauren (when asked for store number and last name it was refused to be given) was rude my mother who has oxygen and other underlying medical conditions cannot wear a mask was very rudely spoken to and not allowed in the store because she didnt have a mask on the entrance to the mall this store is located in stated that persons with medical conditions are not required to wear a mask. Her oxygen was clearly visible and was still not allowed entrance. We will be contacting the coprate office.
Thank you! What a wonderful experience.
Fun but covid restrictions suck
Excellent service and masks were required! (We made 2020 bears)
Wonderful experience. My daughter loved getting her first build a bear. Ill definitely do it again one day. She loved it and the employee that helped her was very friendly. My daughter loves her bear. Great place for kids! Just a little pricey FYI the birthday bear is the cheapest one is what we got!
Visited for my youngest sons birthday. We always have a good time bringing our little furry friends to life! He got his birthday bear. The employee who helped us was more than enthusiastic and brought him many smiles throughout the experience!
After much begging an pleading I finally took my daughter to Evansville Build-A-Bear today, really didnt expect much other than to spend a bunch of money on a stuffed toy for my amazing kid, I love her what can I say. I was pleasantly surprised to find 1 worker named David who helped my child build her bear, he was so kind and genuine. My husband and I melted watching her hang on his every word on how to make a wish and bring her pet to life, we will be back, especially if David is there.
My friend and I took our boys here to fill up sharks they received for their second birthdays. Katie did a fantastic job with the boys. She was so patient and friendly with them. She made the whole thing a real experience for them and it was awesome!
Great experience! The lady helping us was so good and patient with the kids! They had such a good time making their animals!
Sweet staff
Very nice staff. I did go in during xmas rush so it was a bit of a wait but they definitely made up for it with their attitudes. Will definitely be shopping there again
Day 2 of speaking with someone over a dilemma I am having and both ladies came off really rude. I get it I am in retail my self but you should really watch your tone when speaking to customers considering FIRST IMPRESSIONS are everything. I have a newborn (could have been a long life customer ) but honestly after day 2 of trying to figure things out and with that attitude completely lost ALL interest in ever being loyal here which is disappointing since I was so excited to bring my newborn here to start her bear family . And of course common sense people talk about their experiences to people and this town is not so big.
Oh the girls that work there were awesome! Made me want to be a kid! My granddaughters were thrilled! Only wish they had more help. One girl was working all by her self for at least 45 minutes with a crowd of people waiting.
Minus the mask great experience
Got our Birthday Bear! The staff was Very Pleasant. We enjoyed the trip.
We understand going to the store on Saturday will be busy, but the store management should understand that too...... having only ONE stuffing station open while the line gets longer and longer was ridiculous. The employees seemed to not sense customer service at all or how shopping with little ones can present challenges of their own as wait time can affect dispositions.
We were visiting the Build A Bear Workshop in Evansville, IN, and a worker (not sure if she was management or not), Katie, was very rude and short with our entire group (3 adults and 4 kids). She kept instructing us on where to stand (while we were shopping for outfits), and when we got in line to check out, she pulled the people behind us first. I will not be back to this location.
The staff are wonderful. Kaylen and Sasha were wonderful and helped us get exactly what we needed. The store was clean, and even though it was a little busy, the staff was able to make sure we left happy!
Who doesnt like a talking Teddy
I love going here! Employees here are so friendly. I have been going here for years and have never had a bad experience.
This kids and grandkids love this place. Weekdays are best for kess people. Weekends can be too much. Make sure to bring the high limit card :). Really though i have never had an issue there. Products are spot on and employees are awesome.
Clean organized and fun! Can get pricey if you add all the extras. But its worth it.
Staff is amazing!
We are on our second generation of kids going. Its so fun to watch the kids pick a bear or creature and they get to watch it get stuffed.
My daughter came here for her first birthday and had a blast!
Built a puppy for my four month old grandson. Wonderful experience. My grandson and I both kissed the small heart that was then inserted into the puppy.
If you want a special bear for a special person this is the place to go. Be warned, you are going to have a lot of up selling of add-ons (scent hearts, sound effects, clothing, and accessories). I have bought stufties (thats what we call them) for two of my kids. One adores her bears and will throw down if you mishandled them. The other likes to toss his around. Dont bother spending the time or money on a tosser.
Great, but I feel like they could improve with more stock, and push selling clothing less.
My daughter was thrilled with the scents she could put in her llama and the clothes that went with her.
Employees were very friendly and everything seemed to be fully stocked.
This place is such a money trap. Even when you think your getting something cheap, all the accessories will add up real quick!
Horrible experience. On Friday 9/28/18 11:30 am, the woman working can’t stand people, let alone children. Kept our son Waiting in one spot-to put stuffing in his animal. Literally had him stand there and wait forever. Then she Came over. He said he was ready to stuff his animal and she said “no” and that she had to do it! Then she walked away again. When she returned, she bumped into my daughter, which caused her to lose her balance-but got her attention. The worker didn’t say sorry or excuse me-but did say-“don’t play with the headphones, they are for the bears, you’ll stretch them out”. Well, that took the smile off everyone’s faces. We left. Easy enough. You pay for the experience. So if the experience is not there, you leave.
.Had the best time. Friendly staff, fun for all ages
Was packed but well worth it in the end we got 5 animals for 25$ the staff was very kind
Love this place..brings out your inner child.
Amazing place! So understanding and helpful!
Great place to do your own stuffing of a variety of bears and many more.
Friendly staff, they take the time to make each child feel special
Kids have fun making their bear. Use to be a real blast but its getting a little stale as its been around for a long time now.
The lady that was working was extremely pushy and wasnt very kid friendly she made us feel like we were in her way and was bothering her. We left without purchasing anything.
So much fun for the kids and special
If I could give no stars I would called and was told that there was no time limit on the pay your age day get to the store and they have stopped taking people
