Went on a Saturday evening and the service was fast and friendly. Restaurant was fairly busy, but the service level was as if the restaurant was nearly empty.Chicken and waffles were the best I’ve ever had. Chicken Parmesan sandwich was overflowing with chicken. If you have your heart set on eating dessert, it’s best to split a plate because the portions are huge!
OMG this place has been around for awhile and Ive always said Im going to try it but I never have. Finally got in the other day with my husband, and the service was excellent along with the food! They have so many choices on their menu that I honestly couldnt make up my mind what to order.. so I asked them what they suggested! I narrowed it down to a couple of things and she suggested the Breaded Tenderloin. It was huge and very good, and so were the fries. My husband wasnt sure what he wanted either, so he narrowed his decision down to two things and the lady waiting on us suggested the Italian Beef Sandwich. Oh my gosh, that sandwich was absolutely humongous.. it had so much meat on it, big enough for 2 sandwiches!!! Seriously, not to mention all the onions, peppers, celery and carrots! They give you a dip quite different from any that I have had before. If I remember correctly you have a choice between mild, or hot, and my husband preferred hot but he likes spicy things. (I didnt try it), it came with fries also. They have daily specials posted as you enter inside. Breakfast is served daily, Sorry, but I dont remember exactly what time it ends, I was thinking 8pm but I might be wrong. I can say they have a great breakfast, lunch, and Entree menu. Along with appetizers and desserts. And you dont necessarily have to order lunch during lunch hours etc.They even have beer, wine, mimosas, along with fountain drinks, tea and coffee. I would definitely recommend going here if you have never been before, or going back again to try things youve never tried yet! Everything looks so good I know we will be going back again soon! 😋
SO GOOD! There was a wait (well worth the wait) at 11am, but only about 20 mins. Staff was very attentive! Always had a full cup. Food was so good! I would recommend and I will be going again when in town. I got the down and dirty and the pork was so tender and flavorful came with fries couldnt eat the fries I was too full. Husband got the 1lb burger it was HUGE! He couldnt finish the fries either we were stuffed and it was worth it.
We arrived right at 11:00 a.m., there were a few tables empty and we were seated without a wait. We got our drinks right away. We waited about 45 minutes to get our meals. The chicken fried chicken was delicious, mashed taters were good, the green beans were sorta hard but good flavor, we like our beans cooked to death, I love all types of corn but wasnt a fan of the seasoning on the corn, we got a side order of fries, they were good but not great, salsberry steak was good but tasted more like hamburger, the chicken finger salad was good, large portions of everything. Also, it was very loud, mom had to turn off her hearing aids. Overall we will come back as long as we have plenty of time.
This place is such a lovely place to go to if you dont know many locally owned places to go. The food is excellent and I always can have an omelette (plus pancakes!) The people that work there are so kind and sweet and joke around too! My mother and I split an omelette and they precut it and she joked and said we cut it so you wouldnt fight over 🤣 I love that! Definitely come here if you havent also the mimosas are great!
Stopped by here before heading home. I got the prime rib sandwich and it was awesome. My son for the bacon cheese burger and it was huge. Everything was delicious. Great portion sizes. Our server was very polite and attentive. Great experience!
Send your taste buds on an adventure, and never come back. This place. Wow. Get the mashed potatoes. Seriously. Get them. I had chicken fried chicken, corn, baked beans and mashed potatoes. Sounds very general. Let me tell you everything was PACKED with flavor. Even something so simple as the corn... Ill be coming back next time Im in town. A++
Not the greatest food, but not the worst either, but you definitely get enough food and never leave hungry. The waitstaff are always very kind to my family and I and the price is very reasonable, especially for the amount of food that you get. My biggest complaint is that they are always very slow here, no matter how busy they are. However, that is a small complaint for how accommodating they are and the price.
First time visit for breakfast. I was very happy with my breakfast skillet. My friend was happy with chicken and waffles but could only finish about half of the order. Great food for the money .
It was very weird. The swiss burger for instance should have a burger, swiss cheese, mushroom and onion. The burger they serve, according to the menu, burger, swiss, lettuce, tomato, pickle, mushroom, bacon, and onion. So you cant even call it a swiss burger. The burger wasnt seasoned at all. The rest of the food is golden corral style (bland and confusing menu combinations). The clientele is mainly people over 60 which isnt bad it just means that they cater to older folks and not young so people under 40 probably wont enjoy it so much. For example most restaurants play sport channels on their TVs but this place plays political channels like fox news and such.On the plus side the staff is very nice, never had an empty glass so I was very happy about that. And the place was clean.My personal opinion that cleavers is just for retirement aged people who have lost their sense of taste and who can spend $15 a person.Just for management and owner.Make a menu that makes sense. Make a swiss burger thats actually a swiss burger. Cut your own fries and dont get them out of a bag, we can taste the difference. Dont put political news in a place that should be comforting to be in. And finally I appreciate that you give us such large portions, but quite honestly the swiss bacon burger is too big. You create a lot of wasted product by making such a large burger. You will actually make money by making it a bit smaller. For example you could. Make 2 regular sized burgers and sell them for the exact same amount. Actually doubling your profit and you wont have complaints about it being too large to fit in your mouth.Your staff was amazing and your store looked great. But the menu could use an update.

Just average. Service was good. Food portions were generous. The sound in there is such that you cant have a conversation with your table unless you are yelling. So loud.
Ive only been twice for breakfast. I had the French toast topped with fruit both times. The fruit was plentiful and delicious. They even decorated with a rose cut strawberry. I definitely recommend them.

Breakfast, lunch or dinner, youll never leave hungry or disappointed. Theres a lot of variety in their menus and everything is cooked fresh to order. Great service. Just get there early for breakfast because they get busy fast.
The service is very friendly and nice. The food is delicious. We couldnt believe the portions. Side salad was bigger than a entree salad you get elsewhere. Sorry I didnt take photos before we ate. Lots of leftovers for later. Will stop here the next time were in Evansville!!!!
I loved the chicken wrap. It was very delicious. Not a full place, it wasnt crowded but Im sure at some point it would be. Its a delicious dinner and I would go back here again if I get the chance. They are very friendly an they have a few different menus but its worth looking at. Its the best place I have eaten in a while. I recommend that you try this place out. I love it here. Would definitely come back.
Had previously only been here for breakfast but brought my wife for dinner and were glad we came! Giant sandwiches, friendly staff and a clean spot means well be coming more often. Cuban was great, more meat than fit on the sandwich. The ruben was really good as well, corned beef had more flavor than any other Ive had out.
Ive tasted better. Previous owner changed! I wasnt aware of it but gave it a try anyway. Am disappointed sorry for those prices!
Went in to place a carryout order ( their drive thru, is closed) Was greeted warmly, and my order was taken quickly. I was told 15 to 20 min for my order, and it came within that time. Both items in my order were made correctly, and both were very good, with large portions and the price for my lunch carryout was very reasonable. Will definitely make a return visit.
The food here was amazing. Huge burgers, the Chicken Wellington is absolutely worth the wait, and the ham and cheese sandwich is so filling! The service is friendly and kind. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!
These guys are fun to deal with. The food is delicious and the portions are frankly too big. You could choke a horse on the salad.
Went for lunch with my daughter. Had never eaten there before. Got seated quickly at one of the higher topped tables. And was given drinks quickly as well. The waitress was quick to wait on us. We ordered food including an appetizer. Our appetizer came out at the same time our actually food did which was different but hey still was eaten. The wings were good and buffalo sauce was tasty. My sandwich was nicely done and the bread was crispy. My daughter had no complaints about her BLT. The fries were good as well. We waited 15 minutes at most for the food. It was quick which was nice. Prices are decent I did spend more than I wanted for lunch 28 dollars and some change before tip. But we usually dont get an appetizer.

Came here while traveling through town for breakfast. It was enjoyable. I had an omellet and it came with all the fixings. My colleagues also enjoyed their meals.We had a few people serve us and they were OK. Couldnt really tell who was our server because we never seen her again after taking our order.I would go back here to try their Gyros next time Im in town.

Ive normally only had breakfast here - which never disappoints - but I ordered lunch this time (chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy) and it was so delicious. Service was great and we left happy and full!

I ordered the gyro with fries and my sister the Greek salad. My gyro was huge with a lot of meat, onions, and tomatoes on a pita. In fact there was so much I left most of the pita. My sister loved her salad which came with grilled chicken, tons of feta cheese, olives, and other vegetables. everything we had is really good.
We came to socialize and talk to each other. Spent about 30 minutes to get food but we were there to talk and in the middle of a rush. Food was worth the wait

I have ordered carry out here twice in the last year (most recently tonight). Both times I was told 15 minutes and both times my order wasnt actually placed until I arrived so I had to wait 15 minutes after arriving. One would think, after a full year of the pandemic and carry out, restaurants would have the carry out process refined.On the positive side, portions are big and food is good.

Went for the second time and the food was awesome. I had the gyro with baked beans and my girlfriend had the tenderloin with baked beans.only thing I can say I didnt like was the baked beans. We also got the loaded fries with BBQ pulled pork. I will always come back.

The environment is wonderful, but for the quality of food, their prices are too high. My wifes steak sandwich tastes just like my bacon cheeseburger which was missing the bacon. The food was good, but at those price points, Outback, Olive Garden or similar establishments would be a better deal.
Great place to eat. Amazing breakfast, great prices for lunch. Try a Cajun chicken sandwich or a down and dirty. You will not be disappointed.

Wanted to get a reservation for a table on mothers day. They said they dont take them. Go there next day wait in line for an hour while multiple parties with reservations pass us. Terrible customer service.

Ordered a water and the non-english speaking waitress brought me coffee. I told her no, water. She never came back. I ordered biscuits and gravy, something thats already done, and nobody even acknowledged I was ever there. I had to leave so I could only be ten minutes late for work. I dont recommend going there if you dont like feeling invisible.
