How about cashiers? Im not digging the self checkout only thing. This will be a major factor in deciding between shopping here or somewhere else. Other than that, great store.

Great location, selection and customer service. Gas station is a major plus. Most times I go out of my way just to go here.

Itll really help the truckers out if you guys stop driving behind the store and getting in the way this is our work place please let us do our job. We are delivering the items that you come here to buy so please have patience and get out of the way

All associates i ran into were very helpful. The only complaint i have is that a product i got was on a shelf with a sticker of $6.00 or something. When I went to check out it rang up 30 something.

Can someone explain why a completely self-checkout store is closed at 8:30 PM with four employees standing out front smoking cigarettes and on their phones turning customers away due to Covid? Maybe you should update your hours so people don’t waste their time.

Very first visit to this store and I walk in and several people were turned around looking up towards the cash registers. There was a man yelling and cussing and causing a huge scene. Took the employees waaaay too long to call the police. There were two older ladies who were actually scared & shocked by this guys behavior. The guy was very mouthy but that all changed to nothing but politeness when the police showed up. Go figure.

I think this is the perfect location for people wirh space issues. I was here around 11am .easy in and out.

Never had I had any problems at the neighborhood Walmart on 1st Avenue in Evansville. I always get a large amount of blueberry, cherry and vanilla yogurt and since Ive been shopping there they put extra vanilla, cherry and blueberry yogurt out. I always fined everything I need, the produce is always fresh and stocked. The employees are always helpful and kind. Thats why I give this Walmart 5 stars.

Convenient. Dont expect anything more than groceries and basics.

They have everything I need for cooking and cleaning and a pharmacy, very convenient.

After waiting a long time I picked up my order when I got home I realized I was missing many items, I called after 24 mins on hold I was told those items werent even shopped and given a choice to have them shop them or refund them. I chose to have them reshop them and was told to come get them in an hour, I sent my husband and he just returned still missing items!!! Im done I will not do business with this store ever again as this is absolutely ridiculous and unfortunately my last straw!

They said that there short on money now and that there scared of covid ...but I guess you can always count on schnucks at least there open ....soooo Im guessing that Evansville will be shutting down again

Very stocked, very neat and clean. With exception of the road work being done on First Ave, I would suggest taking the back way off Kratzville Rd . to avoid the long delays.

Worse store ever closed at 8pm some guy out front yelling due to covid. Are you serious you already make us check ourselves out. It takes what 2 employees to let us shop. There is never any one to ask where stuff is. I swear Im over the covid as a excuse for horrible customer service..

Not too much of a miss on our pickup order. Didnt get to see our substitutions though... Still good quality picks on produce and everything.

Most of the people are rude . But the new layout is alright. I feel the fruit selection could be better . Usually fairly clean and stocked when I go. I go in early morning or late at night. Cuz they r usually busy.

Horrible shopping experience. Completely removed actual cashiers and made 100% self check out. No real help whatsoever. Customer service center consistently closed. Dont shop here. Go to Meijer

Dont like the new setup..you are paying 2 work..literally....The workers just stand there and watch u like a hawk bag Items, and they have the nerve 2 make u feel like u are literally being watched, and criquted by every move..If they have workers why cant they bag....If u ask me..its the beginning of the end 4 Walmart..im finding another place 2 buy groceries...I know their sales are going 2 pitch low this quarter, as well as the next.

Very courteous staff from the greeter to the cashiers, well maintained shelves, produce section is always being rotated. If you ever need to find anything the staff is always willing to help.

Not enough Tysons chicken in stock and lots of other stuff are out of stock!

I noticed today, the store was nice and clean.. The inventory was on the shelves instead of taking up the aisles.

Always liked this WalMart. Clean, well stocked, easy checkout. Deli was closed mid afternoon. Guess there having trouble hiring people when most dont want to work.

Dont like going there anymore because they have switched to all self service to check out.

Never enough cashiers,always workers standing up front but not as cashiers.I find it disgusting when a worker tells an old person who doesnt know how to work the self checkout, that she needs to learn how to do it because this is what its coming to. This old woman was almost in tears. I was truly disgusted with the service there that day.

Had about ten little kid employees out in front yelling at people thay they were under staffed? There are ten of you there. You dont do anything anyways. What do you mean understaffed!?

Bad Customer service, they never answer their phones, theyre hardly at the gas station and there is a manager who locked and closed the gas station up at 8:20pm on February 19th 2021 just to scroll on her phone. I tried to call the Walmart store and no one will answer. Definitely calling corporate tomorrow!

I ordered something online and it tells me that it’s available at one of my local stores, and will subsequently be available for pick up the next day. I wait for the notification, then head to that location. Once I get there, I am told that no one knows where my product is. It was one thing, a bread loaf pan, and after speaking to both managers, nothing got resolved and I wound up leaving Walmart completely dissatisfied. This happens a lot with WalMart, so I would think again before spending your money there.

Love the new set up. I never wait in line anymore,or go to a cashier..wait...there are no longer CASHIERS..,And I dont mind at all.

Selection was pretty good and prices were typical for Walmart. Staff was not very helpful nor very friendly.

Only one checkout line was open during peak hours on a Saturday with several workers just sitting or walking around. Cashier was nice but check out was slow. Many items needed to be stocked as well.

It was great the little young lady behind the counter that helped me send money and load money on my card was very courteous and helpful great job ladies 👍 ✌

Went to cash a check and apparently theres only one person who can cash a check. Because I was told the person who cashes checks was gone for the day. Really? I got a chime card to put my payroll on and will only shop at schnucks or target. I use to work for Walmart and its gotten worse than it was when I worked there. Definitely dont recommend shopping here or Walmart all together. If you have more options than shop elsewhere.

Its hard to find the grocery pickup area when there is a long line at the drive thru pharmacy.

Nice to have the store somewhat close. Be really nice if they would keep stock up. Nine out of ten times they are out of over half of what I went there for.

Just got gas on first av new pumps very nice and cheap gas.also well lit up.

The store is clean and items are usually pretty easy to find. In fact, sometimes Im able to find items here that I cant at the larger store on Burkhardt.

Need to improve on there store cleanliness, employee professionalism, enforcement of mask wearing and distance of customers!

This is a great place to shop because you can get in, pick up the items you need and check yourself out very quickly. I especially like the way the store is laid out. You enter the store, go to your left where you will find the freshest produce and follow on around to the great bakery where they not only have the freshest but the best variety. Speaking of variety, they have such amazing displays of different breads! I love this store and the staff is so friendly and helpful and always available. More stores should be like this one!

Poor service, could not get anyone to check me out at the 1st check out and that was the only check out I was able to use. They said she was in the bathroom, so I waited and she never came back. This was after I already spent money in the self check out because I had to get what I could there, but no one would come up to check me out when I needed to use register 1. They were rude and acted like they could care less while I was standing there waiting.

My first experience with online ordering/pickup was surprisingly quick and smooth. There was only one glitch and it was on me. They were patient, friendly, helpful, loaded everything up FOR me (which I wasnt expecting) and when I got home, it was all there. A very pleasant experience all the way around.

Horrible....no actual checkers...all self checkout and you wait in line hours to get out...

I like how they have it set up now its all self check out they could organize their store a little better you would think they would have can goods all in one place but there not very disorganized hard to find what your looking for there

Terrible store! Only one employee ran checkout lane open on a Sunday afternoon. People lined up 10 deep waiting to use the self-checkout lanes. Store shelves poorly stocked and product selection is at a minimum. Was even told today they would soon no longer be carrying Alpo brand dog food. Tired of this shopping experience! Will be going elsewhere to get better selection and service, even if it means paying more. Enough people start doing this and Walmart will either have to change their ways or die 👍.

Great place to get food if need it cheap.

The prices are great, I mean, its Walmart. This isnt the problem though, the lines are entirely too long, not just every once in a while, but EVERY TIME you go in the store. The reason being is that, again, its Walmart and they only have 2 cashiers and a few self checkout lanes. On top of this, NOBODY practices social distancing in there. On everything there was a lady behind us last week and I felt her breath on my neck. It wasnt her fault either, it was because everyone in line was on top of each other, it was crazy. Definitely do not reccomend for anyone who has CoVid fears or health issues.

Love everything about this paticular Wapmart even on there busiest time yes we may have stand inline a little longer but the store is always fully stocked of everything we need so worth the wait ty To this whole walmart team...

I will not buy my groceries anymore from Neighborhood Walmart. I am not going to bag my own groceries!!!

Frequently shop at the Neighborhood Walmart on First Ave and always find myself having to go other places to purchase items because the shelves are seldom stocked.

Their Professionalism is a Bright Light! The Personnel are Always Attentive and they purposely give us our Safe Personal Parameters.I come here to shop and I keep coming bc of the ease in my shopping experience at the Neighborhood Walmart.

Walmart pretends to care about public health, they have all the signage about social distancing and everything. But I say pretend specifically because they take no steps to enforce their policies, either among their guests or their staff. Witnessed at least three team members with their masks either not covering their noses or down around their necks, covering nothing.If you case about your wellbeing, or that of those around you, shop elsewhere.

Its ok not that friendly. Except one girl who use to work for IGA she was always nice.

There was a hand sanitizer dispenser at the entrance, but there was nothing inside it. Many shelves were empty. There were a lot of associates who appeared to be restocking, but I saw two associates with their face masks pulled below their chin. I dont plan to do any in-store shopping at this location again anytime soon.

The food is fresh on spot love this no animals smelling stinky. stuff is fresh food and I can afford some of it
