Great little comic shop! The employees are helpful and knowledgeable and are more than willing to help anyone, avid comic reader or newcomer. I had never read a comic until last year and they helped steer me towards the series and publishers Ive come to love and look forward to every week.Also, they have a pretty good selection of board games and collectibles.

Amazing store!! If your a geek then this is the place for you! Comics!! MTG!! Sports cards etc etc etc. I doubt you could get thru the inventory if were locked in the store for a week. Oh, and awesome staff lol. Go check em out. You wont be disappointed!!

They have just about every nerd thing you could want. DND supplies, miniatures, board games, statues, comic books, manga, model kits and more then I could mention here Im sure. Its a bit difficult to navigate becuase the store is kind of a perpetual mess.

It was great! They have all comics you could want and all the Golden Girls puzzles you need.

Friendly staff and a huge selection. Prices are good and there are some gems on their shelves. The place has been getting rearranged and reorganized for a while but they will help you find whatever. I have had a few pulls left out of my file here and there but they try to make everything right when possible.

They got a good selection, slow on the checkout and having problems with keeping things in stock which is not their problem. Communication is slow when trying to get a answer from the bosses about buying something, dont be in no hurry when you go there its going to take you a while to get in and out due to the unorganizational skills of the people running the place.

Was looking for a certain comic that wasnt in. The gentleman working there helped me out. Super friendly and helpful. Got me on the list and will call me when it comes in.

The shop has a lot to offer, just really bad customer service. I was standing there waiting for two employees to finish up a conversation for about 15 minutes. Then was very rude over the phone with my wife. This shop has a lot of potential, just seems like they didn’t want my business. Wouldn’t recommend.

Just spent almost $200 for cards, sleeves, and boxes. Got home found out one of the boxes was broken. Called them and they dont even give me a chance to say anything before they say no returns, refunds, or exchanges. Wont be shopping there anymore.

Been a customer at Comic Quest for 30+ years. Now, I take my 10 year old who loves the Manga and board game selection. Great store with a friendly staff and excellent selection of toys, comics, board games, and manga.

When I came here I had so much fun everything was easy to find. I am definitely coming again someday . Although the prices were high.

This place is just freaking amazing! Ive been in a lot of really big comic book shops, but this one is most likely the largest ever!

Ive been a customer for at least a decade & I dont know that Ive ever been acknowledged by an employee prior to check out. It feels like Im walking into a room full of people hanging out and not a place of business. This is not a problem for me honestly its kind of nice to be able to walk into a store without being nagged. My drawback is that there are SO MANY comics and minimal organization (unless it is tps those a perfectly organized) and no room to really search through the boxes. I dont know that Ive ever got a $1 comic from the floor and then paid $1 for it at the counter. Almost always more than anticipated. Still love the place and will always shop here.

Comic quest is an amazing place to hang out. Monty is a fantastic owner who runs his shop like a well oiled machine. I have been there several times for Pokemon events and each time I feel welcomed and included if I’m playing or just watching my husband play. I’m originally from Evansville, But I didn’t start going to Comic Quest until I met my husband and started playing Pokémon with him. I wish I would have found out about this place sooner. They have a little bit of everything for every type of person. I highly recommend visiting. You don’t be disappointed.

It was ok. Lots of stuff but lacking a friendly staff willing to help. In all fairness they had things to do but helping wasnt really one of them.

Comic Quest sells comics, collecitbles and nerdy games like Magic the Gathering and Yugioh cards. Today I brought a group of students to play in their Yugioh tournament. They have a rather large area dedicated to playing the tournaments. Im sure the students will want to come again.

They had some cool stuff. This caught my attention.

Comic quest is an excellent family friendly place. Ive taken my nephew there many times to play pokemon and magic. Im a writer and they allowed me to do a book signing event there, which was awesome. Its got a good selection of games and magic cards and plenty of interesting events.

It was excellent, bought a new DM screen! The only complaint I had was it took a bit for someone to come ring me up.

The store has some interesting items, particularly for game enthusiasts. We stopped in to browse and found a great deal on a board game that I had been wanting. The merchandise is pretty good overall but the prices are a little high unless you find a good deal. The real issue is the staff. They never greet us when we come in and act like processing the purchase is putting them out. We have had this same experience multiple times at the store. They seem friendly to the people who come in and play games but not to shoppers like us. They do seem a little friendlier to my boyfriend than to me. For this reason, I prefer shopping at a similar store in Owensboro where I feel welcomed even though it requires a bit of a drive.

I’ve been going here for about 6 or 7 years almost every Friday for Pokémon night! They are so nice and considerate! It’s great!!

Love this store! Biggest in the area and a huge selection. Weekly comics and usually every variant, great magic selection and community, and a great selection of board games for sale and free to play in store. Great Funko pop area and kids area and largest selection of toys, figures, collectibles, and statues.

Been shopping at this store for years! Excellent selection and workers are always helpful in finding what I’m looking for. My son loves playing Pokémon on Friday nights here. Highly recommended!

Its a good place if you want to get cards, but everything is overpriced.

My son & I love this place!!!! It has comics that I grew up on (KISS comics & so forth), & since my son is getting back into comics; Comic Quest is the most reasonable place to go to. More bang for your buck!!! Plus they also have arcade games you can play & board games also!!!

I spent my Saturday afternoon going from game store to game store all over the Newburgh and Evansville area looking for a place to sell some fairly expensive Magic: The Gathering cards for cash, and Comic Quest was the only store to give me a reasonable price (or even take them at all). The man behind the counter was friendly and throughout the entire process he kept me entertained and informed me on what events the store hold day to day. I will definitely be returning and can guarantee that this local game store is worth going to.

Excellent experience. They let you look around but offer help if needed. So many cool things to look at! Its one of my favorite destinations to go.

Amazing store with an old school feel. The place is huge and has so many comics, collectibles, board games and much more. There are many huge gaming tables that visitors can play games on. There is a shelf filled with open games that can be played in store for free and there are even arcade games! Great place!

I was travelling this weekend and swung in here for a spur of the moment venture. Glad I did because this store is awesome! They have everything from collectibles, comics, every card ever it seemed and more! The staff were friendly as ever and they even went out of their way to get my nephew and son into Magic the Gathering! They went home happy as ever! Will definitely be back.

This store is VERY poorly run. Wizards of the Coast has recently released a new promotion called the Love Your LGS promotion where you receive a promo Reliquary Tower for making any purchase in store. Again ANY PURCHASE. Here let me quote from their official release:To start with, make any purchase or buy any event entry (including store-run online events), and you can receive the Reliquary Tower (limit one per customer, while supplies last).As per the norm Comic Quest has skewed this promotion and is requiring you buy 6 booster packs, a minimum $25+ purchase after tax, to acquire this promo card. That was not Wizards intent when releasing this card. I have given this store chance after chance and every time I go in there they are price gouging, practically selling promo cards, or just plain rude. Heck I was once laughed at for asking the price of a From The Vault set that they had tripled the price of. This store should really be shut down for their poor practices and I will be reporting them to Wizards for fraud investigation.

Visited this store today, I purchased a miniature figure. As I was walking to me vehicle I noticed the figure was broken. (Didnt even make it to the car) I got our baby buckled in while my wife went back to exchange the figure. The store did not have another in stock and offered to order one, we are from out of town so that would not work. The store then offered to give us store credit for the figure, again we are from out of town. They refused a refund stating that as soon as we walk out the door they will not refund. It was a $5 figure and we paid in cash. They still would not let us have a refund for the broken figure (the figure wasnt just broken there was a piece completely missing, and the package was unopened. I am very dissapointed and will not be returning to this store, which might not seem like a big deal since I am from out of town but we visit frequently.

Great book store for our area. It is well organized but still a little difficult to find specific titles you maybe looking for. The staff was helpful when asked I guess I could have relied on them more. I will be returning for sure.

Had to change the ratings on this one because I called and asked about selling cards and when they say come on in I get there and he no longer is willing to even look at them and says his magic guy isnt even in when I adked why he said to come in and he would then refuse to look at them he said he thought it make me more likely to buy something anyways YEAH RIGHT THATS BS NO MORE BUSINESS FROM ME AND I HAVE SHOPPED THERE FOR GOING ON 26 YEARS EHAT A SHAME

Always a great stop! They have such a variety of items from funko pops, to comic books, and a ton of card games! The workers are all friendly and will help you find whatever you need. If youre a nerd like myself, youll love it!

This place is absolutely pathetic I was in there 10 minutes walking around the whole store looking at their merchandise they had some really good pieces I was interested in but not one time did they asked me if I needed any help they were too busy looking at trading cards then to acknowledge a customer walking around in their store funny part was I was the only customer in the store

Best. Store. Ever. They have friendly employees who are very knowledgeable about all their products and even stick around after they are off to interact with us (customers) who come in to play consistently. Full arcade and snacks? Yes please!!!!

The day I visited the store was setup for a table top tournament which made the store a little difficult to navigate but was totally fine as there was quite a turnout. Probably the only good comic shop in the area. Store seems to cater to all breeds of nerd...in a good way :)

I have been going here for over twenty years now and I have seen the ups and downs of the store. I would like to trade almost my entire collection here but they are shady about only wanting to accept old vintage books and not new stuff that is over flowing my home that I would get rid of along with older, vintage books. If they would take my newer stuff I would trade old stuff that has high value. The store is ok for the most part but for someone that has been going here for twenty plus years and yet won’t do a solid and help me out by trading my new and old comics hurts me greatly. I do feel like this store is way better than the one in Owensboro by far and knowing both owners real well I can say that I have great respect for the one in Evansville. I will say though you want to get vintage books comic quest you need to be able to take all the books on trade not just a few vintage books I have heard to many people complain about the way you guys trade! Also I went in there and asked a question to the worker at the register on 2-29-20 and he said he didn’t know the answer to my question about a comic nor did he even try to look anything up for me. I also hate that they will not price match certain books or comics to some retail as some things in the store is very overpriced. I miss the good old days when Lelani was running the store you got help and so much more. Not only that but if I want comics and graphic novels cheaper now there are comic book stores with apps and online service to where you can order comics and other things two weeks ahead of time and when it gets released you get the items cheaper than cover price to make up for shipping cost and delivered to my door on the day the comics are set to release. If they want my business again then they will accept trade ins no matter weather they are vintage or newer books. Lastly Amazon sells graphic novels way cheaper than comic book stores now. It just taught me I can’t be a slave to the comic book stores anymore when it comes to hardcovers and tpbs.

Great selection of everything a card gaming nerd or a comic enthusiest could want. I personally know all the staff and their ways of handling things. Great selection for almost any person. Comics of most genres, anime figures, manga, DC, Marvel, retro figures, etc. Prices send to be MSRP which is good because they arent upping their prices like other stores Ive visited.

This is the largest comic book store I have ever been in. It is well organized and staff are always there to help find what you are looking for. They also sell games, toys and collectibles. It is a hard location to find and the parking lot is not kept up but the inside of the store is clean and organized.

They have lots of games, comic books, d&d supplies and more. Definitely worth checking out.
